The current manager male needs some training in proper customer service. He has been rude to me on separate occasions for minimal things. Michelle and there former manager were so awesome, respectful and definitely had great customer service! There are others who are awesome that I do not know by name. Indeed, this guy makes me dread coming here. I guess it is time to find somewhere else to send my business. He is so rude!

The y have pallets of delivery on every aisle in the store. You can nearly move without a blockage. See pictures.Why not receive the products at night when there is no customers?Some workers on the floor dont like it when you ask questions.

I wish there was a option to give this place a negative stars. Do not know how they are in business some of the rudest people ever. You ask their employee get you something that’s in the back they’ll say okay and you wait and wait for hours never comes back. Recently I bought a case of peas and when I opened the box there were bags that were empty and when I called the store the manager said hold on and never returned same thing over and over. DO NOT GO HERE !!!!!!!!

Very dirty. The Lady cashier is rude. It was a lot quieter than usual though. The employees werent yelling and cursing, and playing around. So Ill give them that.

Needs to be more customer friendly. Miss Natalie is amazing. Also Cedric is very cool always willing to help wish we customers were treated more like family. Instead of feeling like big orders is a drag and irritating. GFS is home away from home. They always welcome you with open arms ❤️

Kindly please change the management and workers in the receiving department. Even the manager and people are irresponsible and lazy. They don’t have any respect for truckers just sitting inside and getting paid without work. very disappointed. For fewskids , they took 8 hours. let the refer running. Manger is also full attitude Truckers please avoid this place unless they change the people or train them. At one , I requested them i offered my helping hand to finish their job. I love the place very affordable and loaded in fresh produces. Periodically, they have clearance racks!God prices. However, the new manager or cashier Antonio is very rude and disrespectful. Lack of customer care. Very poor! Need some education how how to address people. He is over his bald head! I am being nice.

Someones always available to help if you cant find what youre looking for. Not necessarily cheap, but definitely recommend buying here for your restaurant needs. Typically fast checkout.

Drivers stay away from here my appointment was at 8am. Is now 1pm they still have not start unloading yet. I been in dock since 9am dont waste ur time here.

Truck drivers: This is one of those places that really takes advantage of getting paid by the hour. Prepare to wait. They overstock their tiny back of house every day, so the later in the day you get here the more disorganized and crowded it gets with unmoved product. Youre gonna get used like a mobile storage unit.

Has large variety of foodstuff, but prices can be a bit higher than expected.

This place has EVERYTHING!!! GREAT PRICES TOO. I gave them the amount of starters that I did because the cashier who was cashing me out actually took one of the boxes of my plastic containers and slammed it on the floor to find the barcode and when he did that it broke the whole bottom layer of containers. Hes a cashier that is bald headed and I want to say his name is Tony not 100% on that, however when I came back into the store with the box and showed the young lady at the front desk/counter, she looked at my receipt looked at the damaged items and told me to go get another box and it was super easy to switch it out a quick fix to a small problem. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Workers are great very helpful with matching up To go containers. food has always been fresh. Meat selection before COVID 19 was wonderful. Area the store is located easy in easy out.

I went there with my husband and sister for the first time.Its a good store and you can save a lot. The only thing I didn’t like was the behavior of an employee who was working in meat area. He was throwing empty wooden pallets on ground.The sound was so loud and disturbing. I politely asked him not to throw forcefully because we were trying to get meat but he started throwing it more forcefully,so we just left that area without looking more meat. We were not happy because of that.

They used to be better. Now I only come here because of the stuffs they sell. Don’t expect much from customer service. They don’t even say hi or thank you when you just paid close to 1,000 dollars at check out.Once paid, you better check your receipt very well since if they made mistakes and double charged you, you will have to spend 15 mins walking around the building to front desk to get credit and bring it back to check out line again. It just bad system.I’ve been a customer here for over 12 years and I have seen many faces come and go so quick, now is the time that they don’t really have any good ones around.So, just be there, get your stuffs, didn’t expect any friendly service, triple check your receipt before you leave. Too bad to see how this business going downhill.

A great place for needed supplies for restaurants and catering businesses

Good place for bulk items. Staff is very helpful, might encounter some grumpy ones occasionally but as human being no one is perfect. Will recommend it specially for foreigners and people who use Halal meats. Prices are very competitive too. God bless u all for what you do.

My visit today was a pleasant one I had the pleasure of meeting a young man by the name of David he was so attentive a and polite I needed to get some salmon he took my case of fish out of the cooler walked me to the counter waited in line with me the whole time holding the case of fish walked me through the checkout took my food to the car and put it in the car for me, I thought that was so nice he said he did not want me to have to stand in line or carry that box because it was very cold how sweet this is my first encounter at Restaurant Depot that was very pleasant definitely will be back we shop here all the time for our business Thanks David

Theyre always nice and professional. They have complimentary coffee and tea. Theyre always stocked up. You do need a membership to shop here.

The store declined to honor a beef price that was featured in their flyer even though I confirmed the price with a phone conversation with the meat manager and had him locate the product when we were at the store. Once we were at the register the cashier and subsequently the manager would not sell the product for the confirmed price.

I can go to any of the staff to ask for help to find something. Alex who is usually there is great! The place is clean. Sometimes they may not have what usually purchase and check always the produce before purchase sometimes a bad box may show up.

Correct me if Im wrong, but doesnt BB stand for Best by date? An employee told us it was born by!! Other than the expiration issue on the cookie butter cake. Same as usual, no problems. Quickly in and out, had everything I was looking for.

You must have a business license to shop this warehouse. Its a full resource for produce, dairy, meat, cheese, frozen, disposables, janitorial, bulk grocery, and smallwares. I can pick up food/ supplies for my restaurant rather than wait for delivery or an online order. And pay no shipping, of course! The staff is always friendly and happy to help if I dont know where something is. The cashiers are quick, yet accurate. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that sometimes they run out of certain items. But that can happen from time to time at any store. I appreciate that they have a later closing time on Thursdays.

This is not a place that you go to for quaint charm or to while away some time; its a gritty resupply facility for the food service industry. Providing you dont get run over by a speeding forklift or spend fifteen minutes at checkout, the goal is to get everything on your list and get back to work.

Semi trucks, 3 hrs to wait, 3 hrs unloading, 2 hrs counting, total mess

I like to shop here because of the fresh vegetables. The only issue I have with them is you have to constantly check your receipt if they charged you accordingly. Most of the time they have to correct it, its its either they charged you double or the price is not right as advertised. Another issue is some of their pallet drivers drives like a maniac inside the store but I can go around that and it can be dangerous to others. Overall, I still go and shop here. I just keep on track of everything on my receipt. I urge all their customers to do so- they might be surprised!

Compared to the other locations like on the east coast it needs work. Its is a bit small too. No fresh seafood section. Does not have Jetro for groceries... Only Restaurant Depot.

If you are lucky enough not to be taken out by the workers driving the forklifts talking on their cell phones. This place is as bad as Walmart to get out of! (2 cashiers on a Friday around noon). No one should have to wait 20 minutes to get out of a place ever! Wouldn’t seem nearly as bad if there wasn’t 6 idle employees staring at you by the front door. I’m done.

I usually go to the depot in Louisville but both of them are about the same distance. I come to Cincinnati because they have such more to select from but their customer service their workers in general theres no respect for being at work its just awful. their walking around in the cooler with their pants underneath their rear ends Ill just go to Louisville and be out of some stuff.

Very helpful I didnt realize I needed a business two shop, but my uncle does . The young African American girl gave me a day pass.And the other workers helped me find the burgers and chicken breast I needed. Thank you
