I took my autistic daughter there to see Katie, & it was way better than I had hoped it would be.Katie was awesome with my daughter, the place was spotless, everything was perfect. The receptionist, Sara, got us booked in advance with no problems & everything was set when we got there. I made another appointment for my daughter for 4 weeks later, & will continue taking her there.

I have been going here for about 4 years. I wanted to go somewhere differently than the normal European wax that everyone I knew was going to. The name was catchy and matched the vibe. My first experience was with them and I’ve been hooked. Great staff and the service is impeccable.

Today was my first visit for a wax, I’m always a little nervous about getting a wax but I will say I’m very pleased with this place, very welcoming an knowledgeable, answered all my questions that I had, very clean and smelled amazingly fresh, the rooms are very clean an relaxing it was just all around a great experience! Sara the receptionist is amazing! She let me know about the specials they had and made it so easy to get set up, very friendly made me feel comfortable and reassuring that I was in good hands with all the ladies , HIGHLY recommend giving her a call and booking your appointment today, I’ve already booked another appointment so I know I’ll definitely be returning, it’s now my go to place!!

Katie makes sure my tan looks perfect every week. She takes her time to make sure it looks natural. The staff is always very accommodating to my schedule, and I feel welcomed as soon as I walk in (by a very friendly receptionist).

I have the worst problem with ingrown hairs or just irritation in general, and my mom was telling me to go to Darby it’s like hanging out with a friend. And honestly the experience was amazing, and pain was similar to like your eyebrow being waxed in my opinion fast and pain disappears within seconds. I have had no irritation, no Ingrown which is very surprising. But Darby was amazing and made me feel very comfortable. If you are nervous don’t be they are all so sweet and it really is like just hanging out with someone rather than getting waxed

The WORST waxing experience I have ever had. DO NOT come here. I was extremely bruised after my wax with Katie and called several times trying to speak with her about my concerns. I have been waxed many times at other salons and have never been bruised. That is 100% the waxers fault. Both Katie and Victoria refused to call me back when all I wanted was some reassurance that my bruising would fade or at least an explanation as to why it happened. EXTREMELY unprofessional and careless. I was so disappointed to see that not a single waxer at this salon cared enough to call me back after knowing how upset/worried I was about my wax. South Beach Wax does not care about their customers.

Katie is amazing. I am always pleased with the results and it is much more gentle than I expected. The wax she uses has never been too hot, pulled too harshly or hurt. My Brazilian wax was with Katie. From the minute I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist who was very welcoming. Katie explained everything thoroughly in detail. I had previously booked for a full bikini and after careful explanation went with the Brazilian. She was careful to make sure the process was with the least amount of pain as possible and takes to me the whole way through. I already booked my 2nd appt and will continue to come back. Cassandra is great! The staff are friendly and professional. The style of wax is awesome, I never have skin irritation after. Never tried the other services, though, so I cant speak to those. The place is very clean and hygienic. They recently remodeled and offer new services. The pricing went up for me which was a bummer. The online booking system is really convenient. I have tried the place across the street, and much prefer Southbeach Wax. I drive about half an hour to come here over any other places that are closer. Highly recommend!

Terrific service! I called and they booked me an appointment for my very first full bikini wax the day of. I was extremely nervous even just calling but the person I spoke with on the phone was very nice and asked if it was my first time with a few follow up questions. I went in and was greeted right away, the waiting area is nice and clean, its definitely a comfortable setting. Once it was time the woman taking care of me (I hate that I forgot her name 😫 ) was extremely nice and comforted me the whole time by talking to me! For a first time wax it certainly wasnt traumatizing and I booked my next appointment right away!

I often do not write reviews for companies but I couldnt help but share this experience. I absolutely adore my airbrush tan and brow wax! Not only were the workers very professional but they did an amazing job making my tan very even and provided me with great after care instructions. I was nervous that the tan would wash off patchy like I had heard about other salons however the tan has stayed and doesnt rub off on my clothes. I highly recommend this salon, you will leave looking and feeling great!

Got a spray tan that was very well done. Only lasted 3 or 4 days at the color I like (which is typical of any spray tan on me). Very friendly staff, I may go back and try the hard waxing.

Wonderful experience with my wax at South Beach this week. Maureen was great- if youre going to schedule a bikini wax, make sure to book with her! The building was nice, well maintained, and in a great neighborhood. The wax itself was fantastic (well, as fantastic as a bikini wax can be), as were the prices for all of their services. One of my friends referred me to Maureen at South Beach Wax and I can definitely say I will not be looking back! After years of suffering through the pain of soft wax and strips, organic hard wax was a breeze. It was very gentle on my skin and caused minimal irritation. Maureen even recommended a product to help reduce ingrown hair growth which has worked wonders. She made me feel extremely comfortable and did a great job; I have already recommended her to a friend. Additionally, the pricing at South Beach is very reasonable and I was able to earn a reward for referring a friend!

The waxing experience at South Beach Wax is by far the best one for me. I have tried few other salons in Cincinnati and I am glad that I am back. The wax itself is better and a lot gentler on my skin, leaving close to none irritation even on the very next day. The entire process is much better than any other, the wax used is so much easier on your body and less painful in fact for me, there is no pain at all even in the most sensitive areas. It is a supremely better method of exfoliation than a typical waxing. The technicians provide a level of service that I have never witnessed previously in body care. I would highly recommend this to anyone desiring exfoliation as I know it is a leap from other forms. If you try this one time you will never go back to traditional waxing. Amanda is my esthetician and has been absolutely wonderful and skilled. I recommend her and the service wholeheartedly.

It was the worst experience I have ever had. It took over 45 minutes, they waxed every spot 3-4 times, and still didnt get half the hair. I was completely raw for 5 days after the waxing. I would never ever go back to European wax. However, I decided to try again. I asked around with friends, and I decided on South Beach Wax. Katie was my girl! She talked with me for about 10 minutes on the phone before even scheduling me. She made me completely comfortable the entire time. No spot got waxed more than twice. She even took the time to pluck any leftover hairs. It was the BEST waxing experience possible. (It obviously still hurt a little) but she did such a great job. I will go back to her again and recommend everyone I know! Thank you South Beach Wax!

I get my legs, underarms and a Brazilian wax done and Im happy to say I threw all my razors out over a year ago. They do an amazing job, Kerissa is usually the esthetician that I book with and shes fabulous. Shes always very attentive and makes sure no stray hair is left behind.
