My experience with Wings Model Management was about a decade ago. I was a teenager looking for a sense of purpose and I wanted to see if I had a shot at modeling. I went to a casting call for a bigger agency, and Jake was present handing out business cards. I was hopeful when he mentioned that we should schedule a meeting, but I feel that Jake exploited and profited off of me being inexperienced in the business. My parents paid for the photo shoot and to be on their website(~$500), and the agency told me they would call me for jobs. They never did. I never booked one single shoot. There was no communication unless I was the one initiating it. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s how Jake and his team made a large part of their revenue. The contract was good for 2 years. After 2 years, I looked at their website and my pictures were still up. I had to write them an email, so they would take them down.

We paid you for various services for our child over a month ago and received very little communication following paying for said services. When we inquired about what was going on, the manger eventually responded and berated my wife in an email. His aggression towards her came as a result of many personal unrelated issues that the owner currently had going on. Being in business myself I know there is a level of professionalism that should be maintained in a client relationship. Due to the aggressive and combative nature of the email response we received I feel far too uncomfortable moving forward in any capacity with this truly unprofessional agency.

Jake Lang is a wonderful mentor and agent. My daughter was so very shy and self conscious when she first went to Wings. Alexia is now a very confident and independent young lady, and that is thanks to Jake and Wings. She is starting high school and she is excited and happy because she is comfortable in her own skin and thats because of Wings. I understand that the cost can be challenging, but Jake does his best to keep that manageable. If your child plays any sport or musical program there are costs involved, and this is the same. However, in all my time at Wings there were never charges I wasnt aware of, and they have all been reasonable. Jake also works with parents individually to ensure that each child is included and gets to meet their full potential. It really saddens me when I read the negative reviews, because I would hate for a parent not to bring their child to this wonderful agency based on that. If you believe your child may be the next big star I promise Jake is the foundation that will help them grow …and he is very protective of his talent so he helps you grow in the right direction. My son is almost 5 years old and has been signed with Wings for close to 1 year, and this year has been quite the journey. A journey that started with a lot of unknowns and questions, that ended with significant growth as an actor and model, a wealth of knowledge, incredible opportunities and big dreams for the future!!!None of this would have been possible without Jake at Wings. Jake is the Agent/Owner at Wings, and he has an obvious passion for helping others achieve their dreams. I see him work so incredibly hard for his talent and he puts in countless extra hours behind the scenes to bring in some of the top LA Agents and Managers here to Cincinnati. There is a cost associated with the workshops; however, if you are serious about becoming an actor and/or model, then I feel they are worth every penny. Having these opportunities locally is something very few people get, and that is something you really have to understand.Another big opportunity my son had this year, was to attend the Model and Talent EXPO in Dallas, TX. This is an event that only select mother agencies even get invited to attend, and Wings happens to be one of those select few. There is also a limit to how many people each mother agency can bring, so if you are invited by Jake to go, then I highly recommend you take that opportunity, if you can. EXPO was an unforgettable experience, and Jake will ensure you are fully prepared for the event.The weekly workshops that are led by Jake have truly been the key to my son’s growth and success. Jake is always changing up the classes so they are exciting and challenging. The workshops have also helped my son with reading (again, he is almost 5), public speaking, social skills, memorization, expression, etc..The cherry on top to all of this though, is that Wings has become a second family to us all, and I would highly recommend Wings to anyone with a passion for acting or modeling. You will be in the best hands.

Wings Model Management is a GREAT agency! My daughter sent pictures in and we received a call within 4 days. When we went in for her interview, Courtney was very complimentary to my daughter and was very upfront about how things worked in this industry. We were given a contract and told to think about it. We were not asked for any money upfront and only had to pay for the items that WE chose to pay for (to be on the website and have comp cards made). Jake is very good at placing girls in jobs and offers many opportunities for his models and actors to attend workshops and showcases. Again, WE get to choose what she does and does not attend or what job she does or does not take. Jake is also very honest, which is refreshing. For example, he told us that our daughter needed to get over her shyness. He gave me ideas on how to do this, as well as encouraged us to find ways to help her on our own so that SHE could take ownership in her modeling. Because of his encouragement and the opportunities that he is offered, our daughter now has become interested in acting as well, and he is helping her open those doors. Our experience with Wings has been nothing but positive, and I am so happy that we found Jake and his staff to help us navigate our daughters pursuit of modeling and acting.

Hands down THE BEST agent EVER!! I cannot thank Jake and his staff enough for investing so much of themselves into molding my son into the model and budding actor that he is. Acting and modeling does involve work. He offers classes and special events that do cost money, but they are optional. Not every child plays a sport, plays an instrument or dances. Some kids are actors or models. Paying for these classes is the same as paying for dance lessons, gymnastics or sports. When my son was injured and could no longer play sports due to a concussion, this became his new thing. Kudos to Jake for helping him fight through his concussion and challenging him in new ways. Love, love, love Wings Model Management.

For a while I had wanted to get my child into modeling, and I knew when I was actually going to DO something about it, I knew I was going to go to Jake at Wings. An acquaintance of mine recommended Wings to me, and I knew from another friend that Jake and Wings had a great reputation. So with Wings I went, and I do NOT regret that decision. Jake is one of the select agencies across the United States that can get you or your child to Expo held twice a year in Dallas, Texas. If you are serious about modeling/acting, you definitely want to go to Expo for the experience and knowledge you will gain there. Jake is the only agency in the Greater Cincinnati area that can get you to Expo. He is an excellent photographer and I cannot speak highly enough about the photos he took of my child! My child has had great success thus far, and I know his future is bright, and his foundation was laid by Wings Model Management. I would highly recommend Jake and Wings to anyone or any parent out there who wants to enter this modeling and acting arena.

I have been with wings for a few weeks now and it has been such a great experience for me. I have already gotten two auditions!! When I started Jake explained everything to a point. I have a lot of fun when I am there and learn a lot each time I go. I don’t understand why there are reviews saying that this is a scam when it’s not. Jake works very hard for each and every individual that comes to class. I love it there at Wings and each and every individual who thinks twice about if they should go and be apart of wings, you or your child or loved one could be missing out of a very good opportunity!

I have been blessed to work with Jake and the guys at Wings. I have met a lot of really good people and Jake has given me more opportunity then I couldve asked for. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone. Aside from the good all around environment, Jake is well connected and has the respect of several big agents and managers in LA. I have the highest regard for Wings Model Management and Jake. He has worked tirelessly with my kids getting them ready for Expo. I truly believe that he brought the most well prepared and professional group to Dallas and it was all because of his hard work and effort. Jake has an eye for talent and his past success stories tell the tale. Although many parents may be wary of spending the money on Expo, it is well worth the money and effort. My kids received call backs from agents in LA, Miami and NYC! If you truly want to have a shot at succeeding in the business Wings in the only way to go!

As parents of a young girl with aspirations as a model and actress, we wanted to make sure we put her in good trustable hands to develop her talents. Not knowing anyone in the industry, we came to Jake and Wings based on a friend’s reco, and a few months later we are thrilled to share that this has been a wonderful and growing experience not only for our daughter but also for our family. I understand why people have commented negatively about Wings and Jake Lang. Sadly, it is truly pure ignorance. I get it, because I was there once. I THOUGHT that, if someone really wanted my kid, I wouldnt have to pay for him to succeed in this industry. But, that is simply NOT TRUE. It takes money to make money, in all facets of life...the acting/modeling industry is NO exception. It will cost money to get a professional portfolio, to take acting classes, to take vocal lessons, to travel for auditions or talent shows, etc. This is just like any other pricey sport...competition cheer, dance, horseback riding/showing, to name a few. If you are not willing to spend the money to get your kid to a successful level in this industry/sport, then do NOT start. If you are willing to do what it takes, Jake WILL help get you there. Wings is amazing, and I have ZERO regrets getting started there. We are currently signed with an agency in L.A., thanks to Jake Lang at Wings. Do not trust the negative reviews by parents who were uneducated about this industry.

BEWARE!!! THEY DONT DO ANYTHING BUT GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND!! I was told to send my daughters pictures and when I did I received a email confirmation saying that they would contact me within the next couple of weeks and the NEVER did, so almost two and half months later I called and they told me to send the pictures again and they would set up an appointment that weekend to see my daughter, so thats what I did, I sent the pictures again, weeks went past and they still hadnt called, so I called and left multiple messages on their phone number provided. (We end up finding another company who actually returned our calls and emails).... So here it is October of 2015 and the first initial pictures were sent in April of 2015! So I give them 1 star only because I cant give them 0. Dont waste your time or money!!! BEWARE!UPDATE FROM OWNER RESPONSE: 2019If you guys are the insinuating that my daughter did not have professional pictures then youre flat out lying! Case and point - DONT WASTE MONEY OR TIME! Mind you, I never received a call back even after my review that I wrote in 2015 and was never told her pictures werent professional but they respond here 3 years later to my negative reviews (of course). Talk about proving me wrong about timing. Do better Wings Modeling Management!!!

Jake is very polite and perfessional.. positive attitude and great vibes! His office has a great atmosphere. He is very passionate in his line of work, an by the time we left he answered all questions an made me feel very comfortable an confident about reaching my goals!

WE sign with this agent , we pay for photos, cards and website $300 to $500. They ask to take worshops from Special invited agent from LA and we have like a casting or Interview talking about the Hollywood life and great opportunities. They want you to go to a Conference in Texas to meet Agents directors. But you need to pay for the trip, hotel, and the convention and talent show. They never call us back for any local auditions and was kind a shade it . The Director teach a acting Free class. And tell stories about a famous girl that got in to a Disney movie . WE are very disappointing about this company.I never recommend it to a friend.

Having my child work with Jake at Wings has been a life changing experience. She has changed for the better right in front of my eyes. She started as a shy, quiet, introverted girl and now she is a funny, independent, extroverted, adventurous person. He works every day doing behind the scenes work for our children. He is kind and is always pushing our children to be the best they can be. His classes help them to open up and meet new people. He is the real deal, and the most professional person, he is always more than willing to help the kids. He really becomes theyre mother agent and a strong adult figure to them. I am so happy that we were blessed enough to find Wings. Wings has become a second home to my child and she is always looking forward to her next learning experience. Jake is always teaching the kids life lessons and helping them to grow. Wings is legit and you will never regret being a client of Jakes. Wings is the place to be and if you ever get the chance to learn from Jake then I reccomend that you do, you and your child will never regret it. This is defiently the best place for your child. They are in the best hands in the business.

Jake at Wings is the best in the industry. He has a great clientele both in the tri-state as well as companies worldwide where he has placed models and talent. This is a real modeling agency, not a school with expensive classes and no potential for work. Hes the real deal!

I have been with Jake for the past 5 months and I cant even begin to say how great my experience has been. He puts in nothing but hard work into everything he does. Not only is he a great agent, but also a wonderful acting coach. Five stars is not enough to rate Wings!

Im not sure how anyone could think Wings is a scam? He has put my daughter in front of some of the top managers and agents in LA. She is signed with a top agent and manager in LA because of JAKE. She has also done some local work. Jake really cares about all of his clients. You cant blame him if a company doesnt choose your child for the part. Its all about what they are looking for at that moment. Rozalee has learned so much from his classes and workshops - its even helped her in her school work. I cant thank him enough. I would recommend Wings to anyone that wants to be involved in acting or modeling. He definitely has the experience in both areas.

I was going to hire from this agency, but they didnt password protect their childrens profiles. I would never trust anyone who doesnt require a password to protect their talent.

The negative reviews are because I feel like this is a scam. I received a scam email from Derek from time. It told me not to open it because it was scam. Thats not sketchy? And I very rarely ever hear anything about any jobs for my daughter. Im sorry, but I am very disappointed with this place.

Took my money and then did absolutely NOTHING for me!! Waste of time. You really pay just to say youre signed. Thats it. Acted like they were all impressed with me just to sign and as soon as I did- nothing.

The net result has been...no jobs at all. We paid for photos and comp cards, which seemed fair. We initially received a few notices about auditions for hair shows. However, auditioning and participating in these would have cost more than they paid--if she was even selected. We did not choose to forego work and school for these auditions. Like others, we were asked to pay additional fees to attend events with agents and coaches from out of town. An overall disappointing and expensive experience.
