Ive never felt strong enough to post a review, but there is a first time for everything. Avoid this place. As others have stated, if anything goes wrong they will not take responsibility or make it right. Jewelry is too big of a purchase to take that risk. A jeweler as large as Jared should be the last company you expect that from.My wife and I had her engagement ring and wedding bands we wanted soldered together. The jeweler was not local so we looked to local places to do the work. We ended up paying Jared to solder them together and touch up any diamonds/prongs as necessary. They warranted their work and stood behind any issues that popped up. After they initially misplaced the rings, a few diamonds on the side started falling out as well- even though we hadnt had issues prior. We took it to Jared who denied it was their work even though they supposedly looked at everything on it. Even if they were right and it was a defect in the jewelry, Jared took responsibility for it when accepting it after inspection. Online customer service didnt seem to agree with the stores decision, but could ultimately only offer a small discount for the repair which obviously was useless.

Jared has beautiful jewelry and the sale staff work hard to find you what you need and within your budget. Yet, when something goes wrong with the jewelry that you purchased from them, they will not do anything to help unless you had the item inspected by them every six months!

My experience here was amazing. From great salesmen that were extremely helpful and patient. To the Jewlers that did an amazing job setting the stone and soldering to make the set look perfect. My son was due to propose on this Fathers Day and his ring was due to arrive on Tuesday 6/16/2020. On 6/15/2020 he was alerted by email his ring was delayed until the following Tuesday. He had ordered the ring the end of May and was guaranteed delivery by 6/16/2020. Over the course of two weeks the delivery date of 6/16/2020 was verified. After waiting 3.5hrs to speak with a representative we were told the distributor of the ring could not gain access to their warehouse. The ring my son choose was an online special. So now the search begins we call the online advisor at Jared around 830pm Monday night. The angel on the other end of the phone was Andrea working from home. We sent a photo of the ring she immediately had a similar ring in mind. We set up a date for 11am the next morning to look at rings and before 1pm it was done. The best news she could overnight the ring to us and my son tracked down the UPS driver and retrieve the ring enroute. Wednesday morning the ring was here, it was beautiful and today my son is asking for the soon to be father in love permission to marry his daughter. None of this could have happen without Andrea. The Kenwood Jared location is by far the best and most stocked Jared that there is, especially when it comes to Pandora. All sales representatives are nice and helpful. I’ve never entered the store and waited on help or service. I’ve always been fully taken care of and fully serviced/happy when leaving. Thank you Jared for excellent customer service and great stock of items. The store is always clean, even the kid zone. Parking is great and convenient. I’d recommend Jared any day.

Everyone was so helpful! I had to get my ring resized , my fiance and I showed up at 1200 when they opened. Honestly I was expecting like atleast 2 weeks before I was going to get it back but thank god they have an in house repair shop at their store because I got it back today at 530pm!! My fiancé and I brought a very unique sapphire gemstone here to be mounted for my engagement ring on 5/29. The staff was very friendly and helpful. On 6/2 we were contacted and told that unfortunately the jeweler chipped our gemstone during the mounting process. We were told that they would try to find a match with their suppliers. (We knew this would likely not be possible because, again, we had a very unique gemstone.) They were unable to find a match and offered us a discount on the setting and mounting (which is worthless without a center stone). The staff at the store offered nothing in the way of monetary compensation or a replacement gem of any sort.We were told that a case was opened with a specialist customer service team at the corporate level and to wait to be contacted regarding a replacement gem or being compensated for the damaged gem. It is now 7/1, and after multiple phone calls, e-mails, and online chats with customer service, there has been no response or movement on our case. When I have reached out to customer service via chat, they keep telling me to wait “10-14 business days” when the case was opened on 6/2/20. It has now been 22 business days, and no one has replied to our many attempts to get this resolved. We are still being told by the local store that there is absolutely nothing they can do to help us except offer us a discount on their products. (We don’t understand this logic. It basically equates to:“Thanks for damaging my property, here let me give you more money and more of my business.”)We, of course, have taken our business elsewhere in order to have a ring by our wedding date. We expect to be fully compensated for the gemstone we left there that they damaged.Buyer beware: if anything goes wrong with the products or services here, there is absolutely nothing the local store can do to make it right, unless you want to buy more products and services from them. You are entirely at the mercy of the corporate customer care team, who cannot be bothered to resolve their cases.

Bought an engagement ring from here and plan on buying the wedding band as well. Debbie and john were extremely helpful and made sure everything was perfect. The selection is very large and the prices are not overly expensive. If you cannot find what you want in store, the staff will do what they can to make you 100% happy

I am very, very frustrated. My first ever experience looking for an engagement ring was at Jared. I was immediately googly eyed over all of the diamonds and under their spell. The salesperson was great at first: super friendly, very funny, and really took the time to learn exactly what we were looking for (price, cut, everything). I gave a price range and I was ensured that we would only be shown rings in my price range, yet by the end of our 3 hour stay, we were only being shown rings $5,000 over budget. At this point, the fluffed up feel good customer service had faded, and I became completely uninterested. Although I was a little disappointed, I was willing to come back for another visit (yet I never made a second visit for whats next). BUT WAIT...THERES MORE! A week after my first visit, I receive something in the mail from Jared (thinking its just more ads and fingers crossed a coupon for $5,000 off)...but no, its a CREDIT CARD. I was pushed into a credit card account without ANY knowledge whatsoever. In the store I was asked to give some information so that an account could be created for me so the rings we looked at would be sent to me for future reference, but I was completely skeezed into a credit card account. Extremely unprofessional, and this credit card reeks of manipulation. If you want to retain customers, dont trick them into credit card accounts. We have already visited other jewelers, and the prices are significantly less, and no credit card accounts were opened up behind our backs. All I can say is...he DID NOT go to Jared!

My fiancee snd I went in to see what kind of rings I liked but could not afford to purchase that day. The sales people were guilting my fiancee so much for not wanting to buy THAT DAY and making her very uncomfortable. They then tried to get me to keep saying how much I liked the rings to guilt her even further. I worked in Jewelry myself so I understand sales quotas, but I feel that developing a good repore with people is better than the quick sale. Clearly this location feels differently.

It took a few minutes for us to be helped when we first got here, but after that it was smooth sailing.I was looking to get a wedding band custom made for myself to fit my oddly shaped engagement ring. Mark I believe his name was, was super helpful, and pulled out some bands they had to see what style I liked. At first I was a little worried as all the diamond encrusted ones came out, but then when I explained what i was looking for more in depth, he really listened, and was never once pushy about trying to add more than I wanted. The price was one of the best ones i had found as well, beating local jewelers by anywhere from $100 to $300 dollars.They have their custom goldsmith on site and said they could have it done in a day, 3 days tops if their busy. Which when it means I wont have my engagement ring for that long means so much more than a month or 2!!

I have a beautiful ring from Jared and my fiancé had a great experience while buying the ring. The issue I have is the time listed on the website for the Kenwood closing time. It is listed that they close at 6 we arrived at 5:25 and they were already closed. We were wanting to get my ring cleaned and buy the wedding band that goes with it. The closing time for Sunday may want to change. Thanks!

So, I walked in a little after 7pm to look around and compare some prices. There was only one other customer present but no one was paying this gentleman any attention. Immediately all 4 individuals inside the store began to follow and attempted to have me go to some little room with a diamond specialist. Meanwhile, Im on the phone with my fiance the entire time and was told I can not show him anything in the store for security purposes. Again, the other customer is completely left unbothered during all of this whilst Im being hassled and harassed. Its been a long time since Ive been racially profiled, but I am certainly Glad myself and my family knows not spend our money here. Terrible. I didnt see anything in the store near what I was searching for anyway... Well continue looking anywhere but Jared. #RacismGetsYouNowhere

I had bought a ring from another popular Cincinnati store (non Jared), and it came in a week before my overseas trip to pop the question. The ring was a horrible color and almost ruined the engagement. I went to this Jared, explained my situation, and the staff spent hours trying to locate a similar ring around the Midwest. I was able to secure one and they rushed mounting it a day before my flight. The management really saved the day, and I couldn’t be more appreciative and happy with the decision to buy there. I am a lifetime customer now, and most importantly, she said yes!!!

Make sure every promise they make ends up in your contract. We have been nickel and dimed for all those things that were promised included at the time of purchase. Customer service changed drastically once they had our money and theres never the same customer service person there twice. The rings are beautiful, the experience was horrible.

WORST STORE EVER! My husband and I bought my wedding band/enhancer Dec of 17. We got married Oct of 18 and my rings were set together THREE times, before I finally requested they just separated them and give me my engagement ring!. I was not ever listened to about what I wanted, I was told that the size I wanted would be too big, TWICE. The bars were never removed and the edges were never smoothed down. STILL they kept changing the size to the point that the enhancer bands were stretched so thin my engagement band was twice its thickness and they started the same width. IT STILL DOESNT FIT. FINALLY, I asked that MY engagement ring be separated and given back to me and the enhancer be returned and order in the size I wanted, a 9. This was around January 25. We were told the new enhancer would arrive Feb 22. Well we never got a call, so we had to reach out around Feb 30th. We were told that the enhancer would be in March 12th now. We waited again. Today my husband calls (March 18th) and they told us that it was there and has been ready for pick for a while and that they had reached out to us but we never responded! Neither my husband or I have a missed call or a voicemail from Jared, ever. I absolutely hate Jareds service and the staffs incompetence. This has been ruining my days for 6 months! I have never been able to comfortably wear my wedding band and I got married in October! By the way, I got my engagement ring at Kay and we were told to get sizing done at Jared because thats where they send Kay stuff anyway. Also, just to mention, we bought my enhancer at the Crestveiw Hills location which subsequently shut down without notice to the customers (though I was told it would be back open Dec of 18, didnt happen) so we have had to drive the hour to Kenwood mall every time they mess my ring up. DO NOT RUIN YOUR WEDDING EXPERIENCE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. BTW I already contacted the corporate office to express my concerns.

Im writing this review to try and help others to be weary of the pitfall of Jared.I have bought over $20k in jewelry from Jared for my bride and it pains me to no end.Why???!!! Because I have found through shopping elsewhere that I could buy just as good quality jewelry for a third of the cost, and better yet, if I talk to the sales people at the other store I exclusively will shop at from now on I will be able to buy when they have huge markdowns.Now for those of you that will say ohh its not the quality of Jared, I have had it all appraised and what Ive bought elsewhere at the largely reduced price, is valued the same or more so because I bought a big ring with tiny chunked together diamonds to make the center diamond look bigger, its not even close to half of what I paid for it in appraised value.Now as for the location at Kenwood, these people are all salesman/women, they get paid to sell you whats in the store, some of them are down right rude, and obnoxiously so, some of those people are no longer there, wether they were promoted and moved up or let go is irrelevant, they just bring in someone else thats just as bad.I have been to other Jared locations and not had this.Do yourselves a favor and shop around, open a Macys card and go across the road and talk to the ladies in fine jewelry and get way more for your hard earned dollar .

One you make a purchase you are dead to them. Even when you need to pick up and drop off your rings; expect an hour of your time because making sales is a priority. Oh, and if you arent happy with a purchase and try to make a swap (which they say you can do) they tried to pull a guilt trip for swapping.I will say the fact that they have a great ring technician there is a plus.

I dont even know where to begin. The customer service sucks and so does the selection of rings. You are better off going to a non-chain jewelry store, especially if you are looking for engagement rings. I had my moms three carat center stone fall out and I called to speak with someone and the lady was not only rude but an idiot. I had the ring less than a year and it fell out and her response was maybe it fell out from wear and tear. I asked for another setting at the same price and even with it being insured she said no. This place SUCKS. Stay away.

Shopping around I found a local jeweler on the West Side (Siemer Jeweler) who could do it for half the cost. But thats a chain for you - they have higher real estate and marketing costs. Nothing against the salespeople, who were all very friendly.

We went into Jared for a cleaning on my fiancées ring, we were greeted by Satar Baghbanian who was happy to help. Of course my fiancée couldnt help but look at a few wedding bands and Satar was happy to show her a few in our price range.I was not hip on the the idea of getting a band that day due to wanting to pay off my balance in September and get the ring then. Satar pulled my info and informed me that if I pay the current balance off in September my new balance and payment wouldnt take effect till October 1st. So instantily my fiancée sat down and we looked more.Satar and my fiancée must have looked at 10 bands and he was informative, patient, and seemed to keep our price range in mind. We purchased a wedding band that night because of how great Satar was, if I could steel him and hire him at my job Id do it in a second. However Jared would be losing as far as I am concerned there best associate Ive ever felt with.Jared needs to have more Satars in there company, because I would not have purchased a wedding band last night if it was for him. Marty of jewelry repair is a skilled craftsman. He apprised me of the how and the why of the methods of repair. He also told me the pros and the cons of those repairs so I could make an informed decision. He worked on two of my handcrafted silver pieces so expertly and so exquisitely you cannot tell what is the repair and what is original. I also have entrusted Marty to repair treasured pieces of my grandmothers jewelry.Sales Associates Satar and Mattison helped me to find the perfect present. When I was having trouble narrowing my selection, Mattison suggested taking pictures of different pieces and emailing them to me. This gave me time to think about my selection at home. Satar genuinely listened. Keeping my budget in mind, he suggested excellent options. Satar is well-versed in the jewelry industry.Great knowledge and thoughtful service. They treat you like family.
