It has good machines, plenty of cardio and most everything is accessible throughout the day. Staff is super friendly and always willing to help or explain.

The staff is professional and friendly, the gym is clean. I think the showers should have stalls or the cloudy shower curtains and I think that 24 hour fitness should be open 24 hours....it is called 24 hour fitness. I bet they get that comment a lot. It seems like it is one of the smaller of its gyms. Good place though.

Im surprised this gym doesnt have better reviews. For starters, this is an Active 24 location. As soon as you enter the free weight room, it seems like the floor is hollow. Lol. Which is kind of odd. The plates to equipment ratio seems to be lagging. And when I wanted to do tricep extensions, on the cables, I couldnt find a straight-flat bar. But theres an abundant amount of equipment, for your training day needs. Now, after having gone to many others (especially the Super Sport in Escondido), I do love many things about this gym. I do like the zoned set up. Like theres an area for free weights and theres an area for machine weights. This place has character, which is what I love about it. Its humble. They play rap music overhead. Lol. Good for the motivation. And the fact that you could tell the equipment is a little rusted brings that extra sense of character to the place. This is a gym, not a sales pitch. If you know what I mean. It has that Lets get to work feel. Ill be back.

Best gym ever

So apparently they are not 24 hour fitness cause they were closed at 11 pm on Sunday! I could sit here for 6 hrs. till 5 am when they reopen, nah, going back home.I ask them via email if they would make an exception of the closure and allow their local senior members( I am one!) who needed a place to take a shower,shave,and change clothes, for 4 hours,once a week, using sterilization,social distancing, etc. I even said that I would donate my time to help staff it ! and it would give them a good showing of community support ! So far no answer! ( going on 2 months with no shower ! (even my dog wont sleep with me !)

Its always clean.Its always true to the hours.Its never packed.Its easy to sign in.Its easy to sign up.Ive never seen anyone utilize the squat rack for chest day.The staff is very helpful and engaged with their regulars.The sauna is never crowded, for women anyways.The fellow gym members are polite and track their weights.Ive never had to wait for weights or machines.

Best gym I’ve been to, has everything you could need, lots of useful machines other 24s don’t have, even a Seated OHP which aren’t at the other 2 chula locations, only complaint is the weekend hours

This location is deliberately discouraging canceling of memberships. The 24 Hour Fitness website specifically states cancelation notice can be given over the phone, yet the gym claims it must be done in person. When challenged, their answer is, “Sorry, that’s the way it is.” Given the current public health situation, this is not only shady business practice, it’s downright unethical. I’ll never step foot in another 24 Hour Fitness (once my membership is canceled).Oh, not to mention, this location has about half the amount of plates they need for their equipment and no plans to get more.Worst gym I’ve ever been a part of, by far.

Being going to this gym for the last 6 years. Is the closest one to home. But definitely needs an upgrade in the weight room. There is not enough plates to use. During busy hours you cant find 10, 25,35 or 45 lbs. Needs more equipment. I understand is one of the oldest one. But definitely needs an upgrade. And closing in the weekends just doesnt make anysense.

Wish people would cover their nose as well when wearing their mask.Also a couple more disinfectant bottles around wouldnt hurt.

Mens shower is open and shared. No privacy. Front desk said the womens isnt this way and provides them privacy when they shower.Management/front desk said they dont think it matters if the men have privacy while showering and if i dont like to go somewhere else.No wonder this is one of the worst 24 hr fitness gyms around. Never had this experience before.

Apparently nobody works here. No one was in the lobby for like 10 minutes so I left

I love it. Its close by, its not crowded, the staff is super friendly and I get to take my toddler with me (and she loves it) Ive gotten my 18 year old niece the 3 day pass and she wants to get the membership as well. I definitely recommend to friends!

Staff is rude not polite at all. Girl at the front had no personality and basically yelled were closed at me 5 minutes before actual closing time and basically said to come back at 6 am. How can you operate a place called 24 hour when you close? That baffles me. Not to mention all the equipment looks like its from the 90s. I was up for renewal but Im glad to say Ill be going to a different gym from now on because this is the worst 24 hour fitness Ive ever seen in my life.

Great place to work our. Usually the least busy 24 hour for my type of schedule. Which is awesome. May need a bit of a upgrade in the locker rooms but overall working out experience is great.

Its a great local gym. In n out type to get those workouts without having to drive too far away. It has all equipment even though it is a little old.

Frankly, this branch does not meet the standard of 24 hour fitness that Ive come to expect. The equipment is rusting and borrowing, the weights are a total mess and not in order, theres not even a water fountain. The staff were very polite and helpful, but the gym itself is not the standard for 24.

Need to maintain cardio area clean to much dust on tv,s also needs locker room upgrade its horribly. Staff is ok, but the gym needs cleaning badly

I joined during a deal they were having for their Loyalty Program. The group classes (especially Zumba) are sooo much fun! I come here four days a week and never have any problems. Staff is easy to talk to and everyone Ive talked to is friendly! We are all here to train and become healthier individuals!

Older equipment but I dont mind a little rust on my weights, neither did Arnold and Ronnie. 4 stars only because its a 24 hour fitness but not actually open 24 hours, kinda defeats the purpose.

Was there for years and they really never upgraded the place. Restrooms/showers are horrible. Machines are very old and always messing up( out of service). For what people are paying they should be able to keep the place a little more decent.

This place is old with outdated equipment, some parts of this gym are pretty grimy and dirty but I think its just the fact that its an older building. Ive lived in many different parts of the country and been to many 24 Hour Fitness locations and this is definitely one of the least well maintained clubs Ive ever been to. The regional manager should be trying to get corporate or whoever to get this place remodeled and updated, some of the things Ive seen here are simply unacceptable. I think the fact that this location is in the South Bay makes it worse because nobody ever speaks up to the club manager or regional manager and they think its perfectly acceptable to have a facility like this down there but everyone knows a location like this would never fly in North County. Im a firm believer that if enough people reach out to the district or regional manager, change can happen. All it takes is just takes a few minutes and a respectful, concise email. On another note the staff for the most part is pretty friendly and helpful, there have been some instances where Ive noticed employees flirting with the club members pretty openly by the front desk or just chatting it up while ignoring other members and their club duties.

Great customer service, staff in the front are always friendly and greeting people coming in and out. Only issue is the quality of the bathrooms and facility, whoever is managing this needs to work on interior appeal.

The classes are good, the facilities could be better and cleaner.

This place is pricey considering that their equipment is old and you have to pay like a yearly additional fee to top it off. When I came in to do a tour they automatically make an account for you asking for your number and ID which I thought was unessisary since we are just looking and now I know why, a day later they called asking of we were interested which is also unessisary and I had told them not any time soon and that I was still looking but they insisted that I think about them and call them back in a week. its been three months and they continue to call my phone so many times my phone automatically blocked their number detecting harassment but their voice mails continue to come through, i have gotten over 20 voice mails with the same offer in the past three months and they still dont get the memo, talk about pushy. Do not go there unless you plan on being committed to their business.

The bathrooms are disgusting. They smell pretty bad and look dirty. My old gym in Tijuana is way better than this dumpy place. Never coming back ill have to go to the third ave one. I also noticed that the samples are given to the reception buddies, i was not offered one even though we made eye contact.

The only issue I have here is the bathroom. Its just not clean at all. Although the equipments are outdated, it is adequate.

This location has the worst costumer service. Dont know what that guy Alex did to make it to manager but it sure wasnt his profesionalism. Probably a hook up like nowaydays people get their raise. He was very rude, rolled his eyes when their locker combinations got stuck on me. I was explaining the situation in a calmly manner and he cuts me up and says i know man! I heard you super bothered. Glad im leaving this trash gym. So many 10/15 dllr a month gyms around us way more modern and updated for us to deal w this stupid gym . I encourage everyone to check out Chuze fitness and planet fitness. Its around the area. Very uncomfortable experience yesterday thoigh. it did ruin my day and work out. I was a costumer service supervisor for a year and this was unnacceptable. Back in my days. When there was a higher standard at avwrage jobs. Glad wont see his ugly face again

Ive had my membership with 24 fitness for about 7 years and this month is my last month with them. In 7 years I havent seen much change to any of the gyms. I have a sport membership that allows me to visit other gyms and quite frankly there all in bad shape or just too packed! This one here has super old equipment and horrible bathrooms/showers! When I got my my membership I was paying $24.99 now its gone up to $30.99 and I have to pay a fee every year that I have no idea where that money is being used at, certainly not the equipment or kids club. I used to take my son to the kids club on east H St. And i had to take him out asap because of how bad that place smells and how bad the carpet is. I personally told my personal trainer at the time and manager that it was super bad and all they said is they would look into it and guess what its still the Same, oh and dont let me forget to mention how theres always water leaking from the roof as you walk into the restroom area or how the Jacuzzi is always fomed up with dirt...and how that damn last shower in the womens bathroom hasnt worked for the last 2 years!!!! So now Ive decided y should I keep paying more money for this gym when Planet fitness is right down the same street, its cheaper and all their equipment is brand new. Or Chuze fitness where I can pay either $10 dlls for my self or $20 dlls for me and have the option to bring a friend for free and have full access of the gym, classes and the aqua massage!? If I ever feel the need to spend $30 plus an annual fee for a fancy gym than LA fitness it is cus 24 Hour fitness is literally garbage!!

The girl named jazmin was so rude... she looked at us up and down and told us what did we need after giving us a dirty look. We asked for a tour because we are interested in becoming members and she asked do you guys even have IDS we said yes but at this point I was upset by the way she looked at us and treated us. I wont be referring people here. She looked at us as if we didnt make enough money... I just got off work ... sorry I didnt have my diamond earing on or my Louis Vuitton bag. But if I didnt have money no one should be treated that way.

Great customer service but not open on weekends and I work late on weekends. Next 24 hour is about 15 min away and thats not going to happen.

Employees are friendly and its close to my house. Otherwise it is small, not 24 hours and they REALLY struggle to keep paper towels/spray bottles full to wipe machines off

It is a great gym for a person who knows what is going, I think that people who complain about the machines because they are old 😂😂😂😂😂That he stays at home because those people are the ones on their phones watching Netflix, hindering people who know how to use a new or old machine, the point is that it doesnt matterHow old or new is the machine if it is for bicep is for old or new bicep

It is very poor and other machines are missing, the showers are not separated, they all bathe together honestly, I expected more and more than to see the other branches but this one here is not worth it

The truth is that the attitude of those who work there is very rude. I went to cancel my account with them and they behaved very well. even if it wasnt and it was in hold and when I put it wn hold it told me that they didnt charge you an annuity. They tranceó me with 50 dollars

The place is fine. But it seems expensive and many of the machines are old, the place has a good size but does not open after 12 A.M. So the place is not 24 hours. I would rather go to another perp, this is only one block away.
