Dr Mowry and staff are very professional. So caring, friendlly and efficient especially Maria. They make sure you are at ease and comfortable before and after the procedute.

Dr. Mowry and his staff was beyond too great and I was done in about an hour. He explained what was the matter and he was going to resolve the problem. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to me. I’m recommend this place to everyone who needs care that is beyond the scope of a dentist.

Dr. Mowry is a good doctor. When he sat me down for my consultation, he answered any questions I had. The day of the procedure, his nurses did well to explain any final questions I had right before they injected the anesthesia, and Dr. Mowry had me going home within two hours. I didnt experience any pain the week following, so Id say he did a very good job. His receptionist went as far as to call to see how I was doing, which lets me know he truly cares about his patients. I recommend Dr. Mowry to anybody looking to get their wisdom teeth extracted.

If I could rate 10 stars, I would. I was referred to DR. Mowrys office by my Dentist for a much needed tooth extraction. I called to set up an appointment and a very kind and helpful receptionist answered the phone. They were pretty busy and booked up but the receptionist took the time to diligently find and secure me an appointment. It was easy and I was so relieved. The location is clean, professional, state-of-the art, easy to find, and parking is plentiful. Dr. Mowry and all of his staff are kind, compassionate, fun, professional and really go the extra mile (above & beyond) for you in every way. I Love that they take their time with you and explain everything. The procedure went very well and Dr Mowry is a true professional (very knowledgeable)and straightforward . I have had to see Dr.Mowry’s office twice on an emergency basis. Each time they schedule the same day or next day. From the receptionist, nurse to the Dr. they were very thorough and professional. The nurse and Dr. both go over medical status and what procedure is best for you. They make sure you thurouly understand the procedure and make sure you understand the aftercare plans. Receptionist are some of greatest office personnel I’ve delt with. Dr.Mowry is efficient and didn’t take long for a difficult extraction both times. Just the calm manner in the way they operate makes a nasty problem not bad at all. I would recommend them to anyone.

Four years ago I had two implants done and a few weeks ago my 18 year old twins had their wisdom teeth removed. I absolutely love Dr Mowry and his staff! I went in to have a tooth removed that had given me a toothache the whole week. Dr. Mowry evaluated what I needed had me sign the appropriate paperwork so he could proceed. Before anything is done they explained to me what my charges would be. I had to pay my portion of what the insurance company would not pay before any procedure could begin. Dr. Mowry numbed the area and to be honest I never felt my tooth being extracted. Staff was wonderful. Considering what I had done it was a pleasant experience.

Today I had the most enjoyable experience. Dr. Mowry and his amazing staff made my experience less fearful and intrepedating from start to finish. I could not have had a better visit. His chair side manner was impeccable and most enjoyable. Dr. Mowry and his staff deserves a 10 star.

The day finally came where I stopped resisting the fact that I had two teeth that required extraction; one was a molar that was cracked which had to be removed per my primary dentist. The other was a wisdom tooth that was long overdue.Dr. Mowry and his staff were very thorough and engaging before and after the procedure. Overall, I was pleased with the outcome and surprised how quickly I was able to go home! Also, I learned that as an added precaution they no longer prescribe heavy pain killer medication to mitigate any chance of a patient becoming addicted or overly dependent on medication such as: Vicodine, Hydrocodone, or Codeine. So I thought that was a great value-add to pre-op consultation!Thank you Dr. Mowry and staff for your hospitality, thoroughness, and overall professionalism and care! Dr. Mowry is a professional dentist his skills and expertise is top notch. My son 4 wisdom tooth were pulled the same day. He explain the procedure and the best safe course of action to performed the procedure. It went well. It was affordable for us. His staff is cordial and proactive in informing follow-up appointments and even check on the wellbeing of my son after a couple of weeks. I highly recommended Dr. Mowry and will definitely come back for future procedures.

I had a tooth extraction last Friday. Dr. Mowry and his whole staff were friendly and helpful. They told me everything that was going to be done in advance. Of course, I wondered whether the procedure would be painful. They used really effective local anesthesia. Ive had more discomfort from teeth cleanings. Were really lucky to have this office in Chula Vista!

The first doctor or nurse, forgot her name, that collected me from the waiting area was really funny and calming. I went to get all 4 wisdom teeth extracted and was nervous to the point of crying. She kept my mind occupied while everything was getting ready. The doctor that did the procedure is an angel too. The whole staff is very friendly and what could have been a terrifying experience turned out to be a piece of cake because of the staff. Now post procedure, I hardly feel any pain

My dentist has been requesting for 5 years that I get 2 wisdom teeth pulled. I am deathly afraid of the dentist and I had a horrible experience getting my wisdom teeth pulled in the past so I was hesitate to get my teeth pulled. My dentist referred me to oral surgeon Dr. Mowry and my experience with him and his team was pleasant from day at the consultation. On the day of surgery, his dental assistant Maria made me feel so comfortable, she was so kind, funny and sweet and really calmed my nerves. The process was fast and painless just the way I like it. Dr. Mowrys office was so professional and clean . I was very nervous like a lot of people to go to the dentist and the staff and the doctor put me at ease . During these covid -19 times they had all the required protective equipment . They explained everything to me prior to procedure and made sure that I had everything needed for full recovery. They called once I was home to follow up and make sure I was doing ok . Would highly recommend this dentist and dental office . I only needed one tooth extracted but that was enough for me .

Dr. Mowry removed wisdom teeth for both of my sons and he was excellent. He was very thorough in letting us know what to expect and how the whole procedure would go. They boys had a normal recovery time and followed Dr. Mowry’s instructions to avoid any complications. We highly recommend him!

Also, I chose the lesser costly option to resolve the issue and was never pressured to take the more costly option. I would definitely request him if I need oral surgery again.
