The staff is very friendly and informative. The dental hygienist gave me the most thorough cleaning I have ever had. There is no high pressure to sell you on something you dont need. I told my husband about my great experience and he changed his dentist to Irresistible Smiles in Chula Vists.

I want to say the whole staff was extremely pleasant, I had 3 root canals, deep cleaning and 3 crown lengthening, Every time Ive been there which was every week sometimes twice a week, It was like talking to a friend. I highly suggest the DR. and Staff, Theyre amazing.

If you have United Concordia through the military- BEWARE! The oral surgeon at this office is NOT in-network!My son needed his wisdom teeth taken out. When I called Irresistible Smiles, I told them I was looking for an in-network oral surgeon to remove my sons impacted wisdom teeth. They said they were in-network.Insurance predetermination said our cost share for all 4 teeth would be around $600. Day of surgery we find out its more than $2k. I asked for an explanation because Ive never had to pay more than what insurance says with an in-network provider. They kept saying their office is in-network, insurance is confusing, and that the insurance paperwork I had was just wrong. After a lot of back and forth I finally said I understand your office is in-network, but it sounds like the oral surgeon is not. The office staff stammered a bit and confirmed that is correct. The general dentist is in-network, the oral surgeon is NOT! Why didnt they say that when I first questioned the price? It was almost like they didnt want me to know the oral surgeon was out-of-network.I came away from this feeling like they tricked us. They said we should have confirmed price with them before the day of surgery, and yes, I see now that we should have done that, especially since they have a $200 cancelation fee. Or maybe they should have called and told us the price insurance gave us was not correct. Either way, this should have been discussed long before surgery day.Due to circumstances with our son, we felt we couldnt cancel and make him wait while we tried to find a truly in-network oral surgeon. To help lower the cost, they said they would only give him nitrous if they felt he needed it. I agreed to this, not realizing how awful that would be for my son. I was not in the room during his surgery, and was shocked to see him pale and shaking uncontrollably when it was over. He says he tried to tell them he was in pain several times, and couldnt stop shaking the whole surgery. I would gladly have paid more if I had known he was in so much distress. I will never take any of my kids to this dental office again.Edited to add: Let me know which part of my review is incorrect and Ill fix it. Ive tried calling your office 8 times since surgery day and was only ever able to get through to speak to an actual person once. Also, that person said someone would call me back to reschedule the follow-up appointment, but I never heard back from anyone.

I’ve been a patient since 2006. Dr Safarian transformed my smile with veneers in 2011 and I’ve been getting compliments ever since. I’m very happy with my results. Having an irresistible smile not only improved my appearance but gave me the confidence that I needed to reach my goals in life.

I really have nothing but great things to say about this place. When I moved to San Diego 10 years ago I bounced around to a few different dentist until I found Dr. Safarian. I loved the personal attention I received while there, and have always felt comfortable with my cleanings (and a few cavities I’ve had along the way).

I only do this in extreme circumstances where I leave a completely negative review in hopes that this business changes their ways.Last year my wife mustered up the confidence to straighten her teeth and align her smile. After 8 months of wearing her braces, an appointment for removal was made. But when she arrived, the office was not prepared for her due to a lack of communication, so she waited three more hours before removal. This trend of miscommunication has continued with her retainer. She was told to stop by two separate times to pick up her retainer and both times they were not ready. We are going on three weeks without the retainer nor a solution. We have called at least five different times for more information with zero movement.If this is the only way for a business to recognize they are failing, then maybe they should reconsider continuing their practice.I’m available for questions or comments, just DM me.

Incredibly disappointed with the customer service of this dental office. We had a student have emergency dental care done here almost a year ago that was 100% covered by our insurance through reimbursement. It was a $7,000+ procedure that we have yet to be reimbursed for today. Every time I call the office, Im either met with the answering machine (and never get called back) or the comment Joanna covers billing and shes not in today (shes apparently never in). If you can help it at all, do not go to this dental office if only to avoid potential customer services challenges that dont seem to ever get resolved. They have not shown that they care about their customers at all.

I have such a good experience here. I’ve been coming here since 2018 and they are really wonderful people. They are super clean and organize which I love! The dental assistant is really polite and patient. I recommend coming here 100% thank you for your services:)

If I could give 0 stars I would! Do not go to this greedy, unprofessional practice! I went to the place to get my teeth deep cleaned. In the middle of my deep cleaning, the dentist said they were going to do a laser treatment for my gums. I was already in the chair with fingers and tools in my mouth. They explained what the treatment was while proceeding to do it. Afterwards I was expected to pay over $700 because the laser treatment wasnt covered by my insurance. No one at the greedy, unprofessional, and ghetto practice told me my insurance wasnt going to cover it. When I try to get explanations, the people that work there were rude and unprofessional. I visited the dentist again to inquire about my bill. I waited there for 30 min just to be told I have to send an email.I wish I never went here. If you like to waste money and get treated unprofessionally, this is the perfect place!

Dr. Safarian went out of his way to help my situation. Im super happy with having him as my dentist. He always provides only the absolute best work.The work environment is super clean and everyone is super helpful and nice. I would absolutely recommend everyone to go experience such great work.

Great work, I was in and out within an hour. I walked through the door blinked and I was in the doctors chair, blinked again and the doctor was in my mouth doing what he does best. Another blink later and I was saying good bye to everyone. Excellent service and staff.

They wasted our time two times. Very unorganized. We had two cleaning appointment at 8 am and they were absent.

Wish I could leave a zero star review. Incredibly upset with the way I have been treated by the reception at this office. In May I had scheduled to get my wisdom teeth procedure here, and was charged for the procedure to my dental credit card. I never received the procedure due to moving states and cancelling. FIVE MONTHS later they have still refused to reverse the charges on my credit card. I call usually once a week demanding action be taken and I am never able to get answers or always told there was an “issue”. The real issue is the entire lack of organization or responsibility of this office.DO NOT go to this dentist, a waste of time and you will end up battling with them for something as ridiculous as getting your money back for procedures that never even happened! FRAUD!

I had an appointment today at 3:00pm at Chula Vista location.I received a call and was asked if I could come in a little early.I said I couldn’t make it earlier than what was scheduled and would keep my initial appt.I was told they would see me at my scheduled time.When I arrived door was locked and I could hear the phone ringing, no one picked up after I called many times. I also called north county location and closed. I feel like this is very unprofessional and inconsiderate, I have not received a call and not sure what the excuse is. I could have been rescheduled when they first called instead of having me show up. I got off work early to make it to this appointment. Very disappointed.

Had an appointment for my routine six month dental cleaning at the Tierra Del Rey office. Since I have been coming here for the past 5 years, I have seen five different hygienists, and also different front office persons. However, things happen, and perhaps, that might not be their fault. A family member whom I referred to go here has not been impressed at all with his encounters with the dentist, and has recently stopped coming here all at once.On the day of my appt, while my hygienist worked on me, the dentist interrupted us and told the hygienist that he needed the room for an other patient. So, apologetically, the dental hygienist asked me to step out in the waiting room while we wait for the dentist to be done with the other patient. As I was about to sit down on one of the chairs in the waiting room, the dentist called the other patient. He proceeded to walk the patient in the same room I was just in. I was somewhat concerned because I just walked out of there, and it didnt appear that they sanitized or cleaned it after me. I waited for about 25-30mn, and finally asked a staff how much longer it will be, my hygienist responded that it might take an other 15mn. At that time, I became a little frustrated, especially, I expected some family members at our house, and still had to prepare lunch for all of us. The business office manager offered to reschedule my appointment. Although no apology from her, she offered some type of service recovery. I told myself the genuine apology from my hygienist should suffice. The office manager instructed the staff to book my appointment with the earliest open appt convenient to me, while she also offered a free whitening on my next visit.When I came back few days later, the front office staff greeted me with a warm smile, conveying some empathy by saying so, you are the only patient we have this morning, you will get to have all of us to yourself. She also informed me that the dentist will be the one doing my cleaning. I sat for a good 10mn on the chair until the dentist came out. Immediately, I sensed he was dry and flat, made a very brief apology about the last encounter, which didnt feel sincere at all. He then proceeded to do my cleaning. As he was performing the cleaning, he had me hold my mouth open extremely wide, it was so uncomfortable as he was not giving me breaks to rest. He finished my cleaning within 2-3mn. He then probed around my molars with a sharp dental instrument & pushed down hard on them in a very rough way. He suggested that I had 2 cavities (minor/not visible on xray) which he wanted me to get filled. He also suggested other elective work, which I have respectfully declined before. After he made his recommendations, he proceeded to stand and completed his visit with me. I was stunned that he was done with my cleaning, it was nothing like my previous cleaning experiences, it was extremely rushed and rough. I felt so disrespected & not valued as a loyal customer. At this point, there was no mention of the free whitening, which his office manager initially offered to give me, and at this point, I consciously chose not to pursue it as all I felt like doing was to get out of there and never return again. I expressed my concerns to his office manager, and very quickly, she explained that this was how the dentist does it all the time. I decided to request to talk to him, and he made me wait for a good 15mn even though there was no other patient in the office. He dismissed my concerns & said there was not much to clean. I requested for my insurance not to be billed for the substandard service I received, which he agreed. Yet, after speaking with my insurance today, I just discovered that they still processed a cleaning claim. My insurance tried to call them this afternoon, but no response.Am not returning here. I have lost my entire trust and faith in this business. Very business oriented, seems to look for his own personal profit rather than building trust and strong connection with his patients.

Professional and very nice staff all around. They attend to my elderly father very well. They take precautions due to covid 19.

I’ve been going to Dr. Safarian for a few years now and I have to say, he and his his staff are nothing short of amazing. Dr. Safarian is honest and straight to the point and looks at the different opinions that best suit any future treatments and/or preventative care. His staff is welcoming, fast and efficient. Joanne is very knowledgeable when it comes to dealing with dental insurance. If you’re looking for an dentist (and orthodontist too!) this is your place. Look no more! I highly recommend Irresistible Smiles!

I could not be more pleased with my visit here today at Irresistible Smiles. Dr. Safarian and the entire team were awesome! They fixed my broken filling and its even better than the original. You can just tell Dr. Safarian is a perfectionist and his work on my tooth is absolutely flawless! I am so happy with the results and cannot believe I didnt go to him sooner!

Dr Safarian & his team are nice! I had my root canal done without any pain. It was performed by the Endodontist, and he is amazing as well. The only concern is don’t know why I haven’t receive any temporary crown. Have to eat with half/ incomplete teeth for couple months. Still waiting for the permanent crown!!! 😭😭😭

I needed to see Dr. Safarian for an emergency. He was completely flexible with the scheduling, saw me the same day in his Chula Vista Office. I left an hour later, free of pain and completely satisfied with his incredible treatment and kindness. I have never been to a dentist before who is so caring and genuinely concerned about a patients comfort and provided me with such clear details of the procedures.

Dr. Safarian is amazing! All the staff at Irresistible Smiles is caring and passionate. They are so great that my 7 and 9 yr old love going for cleanings and orthodontic care.

Woke up with a toothache. About an 7-8 on the pain scale. It was a Saturday so I assumed Dr. Safarian would be swamped. I placed a call and Dr. Safarian talked directly to me, said he wanted me to come in in 15 minutes and hed squeeze me in. I was in and out in 30 minutes and received top notch customer service. Got a round of xrays and a brief consultation. There was a slight infection on an old crown that needs repair. He was able to start me on antibiotics until a more permanent solution can happen. I wasnt new to Irresistible Smiles, but its nice to know that in the time of an emergency, they will make time to make sure Im comfortable and taken care of.

These guys are Always there for me... Amazing staff and a Great Dentist its hard to find such a terrific combination. If you want to go with a winning team these are the folks you want to work with.

I visit Irrestible Smiles every quarter for cleaning and bi-annual evaluation. I’m always impressed by the front desk, Ms. Giorgette, friendly welcome and service. I also love the professional and excellent service provided by Dr. Safarian and we’ll experienced hygienists! I have been to numerous dental offices but this office is the first one I fully trust. I highly recommend this office for their reasonable charges, genuine, and caring service❤️. I’m always looking forward to coming and taking my family members.😀

So far i am going to rate him a Three because i am Not Sure. I have only been going to Dr. Sarfarian for Cleaning every six month for Three years. I have braces. The initial visit i believe they took xray. After that I Never got Another xray until recently. Dr. Sarfarian said that he thought i refused other work he offered. I dont Recall but even if i did refused it, he should have asked und informed me that they needed to do xrays annually as Part of a Check up. Well, he recently did my xray und found some issues. One Tooth he said it needed to be pulled, Another Tooth he said needed a Root Canal and my Graph for a Tooth that was pulled years ago. He said the Graph needs to be Re-done for an im plant. I told Dr. Sarfarian i always get second opinions. I have always had dentist in the past perform my root canals and I was in the office for hours and sometimes had to come back another day...then my dentist at that time sent me to a. Endodontist...life changer. Root canal was finished within one hour. So i schedule an appointment with the endodontist in the next building. He did my root canals before. When I get there..some how I remembered which tooth needed a root canal and one needed to be pulled. Well..the endodontist said the tooth that Dr. Safarian wanted to pull..could be saved and the other tooth needed a root canal. So my endodontist did the root canal and no pain and out of there in less than an hour. So i walk over to Dr. Sarfarians office and inquire about the other tooth. Their receptionist said we never told them it was tooth 12, we said tooth 21. It was transposed. I asked if she verbally gave the info and she said yes. I asked her not to verbally give verbal referrals for me again. I want all referrals I. Writing. The endodontist office swore they said 12 and not 21. Not sure if i needed that root canal..had no problems with that tooth. Found out Dr Sarfarian. Was going to charge nearly 500.00 more for the root canal. Now I have this implant issue. I believe I am going to go to someone in which implants are all they do. Going to give Dr. Sarfarian one more try. I call him Dr. Hollywood because he looks like he belongs in Hollywood.

Esmeralda cleaned my teeth , she was very nice and great care received from her , she had written instructions to give with the goody bags , but the only negative was the front desk lady very unprofessional.

Dr Safarian and his staff are excellent, always professional, no pain with the shots and things. Got tvs to distract you from the dental process. Recommend 100%

Amazing! Best dentist I have ever had. I have a very hard time at the dentist due to anxiety, and Dr. Safarian is more than understanding. He talks you through the whole process and frequently asks how you are doing while reassuring you. He works at your pace and makes sure you are comfortable. Dr. Safarian also makes sure that you understand just what exactly is going on in your mouth, including showing you up close pictures of your own teeth (which is actually pretty awesome). He does amazing work while also making sure you are educated about your teeth and gums and the process it takes to achieve a healthy mouth. The office is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I couldnt be happier with the work Ive received from Dr. Safarian and his wonderful team :)
