Great insurance agency!

It might just be my own misunderstanding, but I have had a terrible experience with Mark Hinds. After a collision with a horse, I looked to my State Farm agent to help give me context and information to get through that awful event. I often felt like Mark was not really engaged in helping me, but quick to shuffle me off to claims agents instead. I already talked with claims who told me to ask him the questions I was asking them. Through the entire total loss claim, asking Mark for advice or an opinion was often met with negativity and defensiveness. I figured my State Farm representative would be the go to guy to figure out what I needed to do for the situation, but that was not the case. Another problem with this situation is that Mark continued to bill me the month after my Total Loss... for a vehicle he knew was totaled.. and that I specifically expressed I want to no longer be insured on.In addition, I found out about a Renters Policy that was activated on my account without me ever desiring or mentioning wanting such a policy. I asked to view my signature or agreement to the policy and he told me they dont have such an agreement, that my payment alone was all the signature they needed to charge me. (Aka they can just tack it on if they feel so inclined when you use autopay for auto insurance)In short... If youre looking for someone to give you advice or instruction through an accident or collision, Id look elsewhere. Also, make sure you verify each month that Mark is not charging you for things you dont want or have asked to no longer be covered for.

Took my money and said I was good to go with my policy. Called me back 2 days later saying they wanted to double my rate for a dismissed ticket incorrectly reported by Lexus nexus. Thought I would give State Farm another chance after a previous bad experience... guess I was wrong. At least theyre going to refund me but Im pretty unhappy about the waste of time.
