I was made to feel welcome right away, was allowed a free introductory class and learned a lot in my first class. Teacher was nice and informative, the other patrons were helpful, and I could definitely see myself training here more often.

I have never been anywhere that I was made to feel more welcome. Everyone is so caring and helpful. I have found family not just students and teachers. I would reccomend NRVTraditional karate to anyone of any age.

Weve been going to NRVTK for years now and Ive been impressed with the skills and values they teach the children. Sensei Bobby and Sensei Carolyn do a great job training the older and younger kids to respect each other and the dojo while also instilling confidence, encouraging exercise, and teaching the kids strong values: To seek perfection of character. To be sincere and honest. To show strong spirit. To practice courtesy. To control bad temper. We havent participated in the adult or home school classes but there are several talented and dedicated instructors and students at NRVTK so I would also expect good things from those programs. Tuition is fair and there is a discount on multiple kids. They continue to invest in and improve the facilities and weve only seen those get better as the programs grow. All in all, we love the place. Our kids are fickle and we let them move to different sports when they want so it says something that weve been here as long as we have.
