I live in Blacksburg and drive to Christiansburg just to go to this post office as it is drastically better than either of the ones in Blacksburg. Everyone who works there is unbelievably friendly, patient, and efficient. Especially Pam, Aziz, and Walt (who I think retired recently). I ship multiple packages at least twice a week for etsy, and every time I go in there the service is so pleasant and very fast, even right before the holidays when there is a line going out the door.

I am not sure why the bad reviews. I have lived in the area for several years and always had good service at this branch. Walter and the lady with short hair (sorry dont know her name) are both knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The lady is just a sweetheart and always cheerful even when I have seen people give her a hard time.

Pam is an amazing worker. She’s always cheerful and helps solve all of your shipping issues.

Staff was very friendly and professional. Handled my international packages well. This post office is also much better than the two offices in Blacksburg. If you have a car, I would recommend this one over the other two in Blacksburg.

I have enjoyed my experiences at this post office so far. Unfortunately one of the times the system was down so they were only taking cash or check, but they had a lot of signs posted about it and I had cash on me so it didnt cause an issue. The clerks were friendly and the wait was either non-existent or very reasonable.

I don’t know why there are all these negative comments, but I love going to the post office here. Everyone has been so nice, even when my child has been upset and causing a scene. They give my daughter stickers and some remember her name. I am use to having rude attitudes from the post offices in SC, so I have loved this group at Christiansburg.

Good group (pair, really) of employees. They are thorough and dont push you to use the more expensive services (although they do let you know of them). They get to know their regulars and show real interest in them and their lives, while still being professional. Its nice to see that this way of running a business hasnt died out.

There is at least one extremely obnoxious (and incompetent) person working here.

They have lost two of packages in the mail and they said that they will find but they never called me back or anything.. some what the mail service is alright but the people that work there are sometimes rude and the mail people that deliver our mail are sometimes really nice and some are a bunch of asss. this one mail lady got really nasty with me saying you need a big mail box because I had a big package. I am saying to myself that arent you suppose to drop it off at my house?

On site service is fine, unnotable. Phone service is terrible. Confounded system that took five minutes to get to a 35 minute hold for a representative. Never spoke to anyone. Would have been an one minute or less question. Less than one star to phone service.

If you are dropping off a prepaid package make sure you get a receipt that shows they scanned it, because if you dont it wont get scanned for 2-3 days...

No issues here, they seem friendly. However, careful pulling in and out unless you want your car to bottom out and scrape!

Charged me for items I did not even purchase. Even after me asking did you charge me for this he said no and will not give me a refund!! And asked me how did I get charged for something If you didnt buy it I was like you tell me. Will not be going back there again! Go somewhere Elsa. And also there is a guy there I think Walt he is so rude sometimes and gets aggervated easy also makes me very uncomfortable is why I go to riner.

If I could give 0 stars, this facility would receive none. Unprofessional staff. Local FedX office has better hours and staff. Can get my stamps at Walgreens.

Average postal service center with friendly and helpful staff.

Just went into post office on Arbor Drive in Christiansburg to buy stamps. It was not busy- only one other customer in line. Clerk very rude- complaining that he was only clerk working and they expected him to do it all. His attitude made me feel guilty for bothering him!! Very unprofessional behavior.

Additional Postage was required AFTER postage was paid at the Post Office of origin. They would not explain WHY it cost more.

My Mail Carrier is NEVER in uniform, has the complete look of a morgue janitor all the way down to the weak Burt Reynolds mustache and the pasty bored look. (Violation of section 932) Also has a tenancy to flirt with the females along his route.

They have such a friendly staff!
