I got my wedding band and my fiancé’s wedding band here and was really happy with the selection. Sadie was very pleasant and helpful and I liked working with her. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because there’s an older blonde white lady who is incredibly unpleasant and she is not friendly. She gives off a bad vibe.

Went to Kirks yesterday afternoon to have a ring sized. Staff was assisting other customers, but we were never greeted or acknowledged. After about 5 minutes we left and took our business to Paradise Jewelers across the street. Where we received excellent customer service and work was done within an hour.

Recently I was reminded of how glad I am that I decided to shop locally to purchase a pair of earrings at Kirks Jewelry, rather than go to a big chain store. I bought a pair of (beautiful) gold hoop earrings at Kirks, but because of the way my ears had been originally pierced (back in the 60s), it was difficult to get the earring both in and out of the hole in my ear. I took the earrings back into the store, knowing that I would have to have the earring changed into a post. Yes, we can do that, said the wonderful young woman behind the counter, but we could also just straighten out the wire and turn it INTO a post. Let me talk to the jeweler and make sure he can do that. I had the earrings back within minutes, and was thrilled that I didnt have to do something that would not only take more time, but more money to remedy. Even though I would have happily paid for the jewelers time, he fixed at no charge to me. And not only that, but while I was there, I saw pieces that I had previously imagined I couldnt afford to buy. A great experience all the way around.

My fiance and I had a wonderful experience here. We came on a busy Saturday morning, so it took a little bit for someone to help us, but we never felt ignored.When Teresa finally made it over to us, she was so nice and helpful, even though we made it clear that we were just in the researching phase. I had a general idea of what I was looking for, but didnt know all the details. Teresa took the time to show me different settings with different stones in different sizes, and at the end, she wrote down all the details of the ring that I liked so that I remembered what we had talked about.I would absolutely recommend Kirks for a lovely, no-pressure shopping experience. I left feeling much more confident and comfortable about making such a big purchase.

I rarely give five stars, but I will in this case and would consider giving six stars if it was an option. Kirks was accommodating, and really went the extra mile for us. They custom rebuilt a wedding ring for us, and when the design was not quite right were totally willing to to work with us. We are so pleased with their work and their customer centered attitude. I wish more businesses were like them, (I might give out more five star ratings)! What a pleasure it was to do business with them!

Very helpful staff who showed my girlfriend and I are even though I was clear that I was only getting ideas and would have to come back later to buy. Came back later and received the same warm treatment. Personnel worked within my budget and helped me get a wonderful gift for my special girl.

Overpriced garbage jewelry and bad service

Went in here to buy hoop earrings for my gf. Gave me an outrageous quote that was more expensive then what was shown in the book(which is already too much.) eventually we talked to someone who had some sense and they gave us a better price. Personally i wouldn’t trust them and Had they not given me a good price I wouldn’t had given them my business.

Great, local jeweler that keeps the customer in mind. Ive taken my engagement ring in twice, once for a loose prong that they fixed within a few days. Recently, I broke the whole ring (crack in the basket, stone fell out) and they took great care of us. They were upfront that it might take two weeks fo fix, so their jeweler could check the integrity of the band. It was ready in a week and one day, and the solder isnt even noticeable to the untrained eye. They do really good work, and offer to clean it any time Im downtown. They were super helpful when my fiance went in to choose the stone and band. Im so happy he decided to shop small, I doubt wed get such positive and helpful treatment from a larger jewelry chain.

Took my ring in to see what it would cost to smooth out the sharp edges and the jeweler said hed do it for free and right then and there! Such a great experience. Nicest people. Highly recommend!

I came to Kirks with an open mind even after reading the reviews first as I wanted to shop locally. When I first stepped in the door I thought that I might be way out of my league as the store is so clean and everything looked to be out of my price range but the young lady working there helped me find exactly what I was looking for and did not have a problem with my meager budget. Got such great recommendation about this jeweler so I took a ring down to be appraised. Also took 2 gold ring to have stones removed and turn gold in to them for payment. Took rings in in 8/22/16, receipt said promised to me by 9/13/16, got call they were real busy and wouldnt be ready unit Friday 9/23/16 at closing. On Friday approximately 3 p.m. jeweler told me she was having a hard time finding a match to the color of my stone (she said something about sending out for values on various colors), that there were too many inconsistencies on the color values she received and that she was going out of town and not returning until Oct. 6th. She wanted to know if I wanted to just pick up the stones that were pulled out of the other rings and take the gold or cash it in, and if I wanted to take the ring Id wanted appraised or give her more time on it. I told her Id leave the ring and give her more time on it and just collect the loose stones and the money for the gold. She said she would be leaving so she would let her girl up front know I was coming in. I got there and she was with another customer...so she could hear my conversation with her sales associate. So, I tell the associate that Im collecting the loose stones and money for the scrap gold but leaving the other ring to allow appraisal to be completed, BUT when I was told that I would only get store credit for the gold from the other 2 rings (retail is marked up 300% minimum) I felt deceived and decided to just pay the $5 per stone removed (10 stones) and take everything out of that store. Very disappointed, professional ethics lacking, jeweler interjected to me while dealing with other customers...just not upscale like I presumed. I will not use them again.
