I feel like I was pressured into buying a case, charger, and screen protector that I didn’t want. I feel like they got mad at me for telling them I didn’t want it but I ended up giving in. I don’t feel like they should push you into stuff you don’t want. I already pay for your expensive plans, just let me do what I want to do and don’t pressure me or anyone else into something they don’t want. Other than that, they’re nice people just super pushy.

Really great experience going into Verizon at Chico on mangrove and getting helped by Emily. Great staff was working there at the time, my process was a bit longer since I was buying a new phone after losing my old one. But my time being there was well spent as I asked plenty of questions and got great responses from Emily and her coworker. During my time there I also saw Emily’a coworker help a good amount of people who went in and out as she set me up with a new phone including a screen protector and case ! Over all great experience there I got a new phone for a good price that I can afford and got some excellent suggestions on how to maybe save a little more money and make my payments on time while doing so, thank you Emily!

The worst place ever!!!!! I waited outside for morethan an hour for them to message me when it was my turn to be seen. I never received a text, even though it was already 7:45pm. There was no customers inside, so I decided to come in and ask. Then, the woman that was there just apologize because she forgot to send me a text. What kind of customer service is that??!!! Needed to pick up a new phone for my business line ASAP, so drove to the Chico mall to Verizon. Was completely surprised that the Verizon store closed at 7pm, even though the mall closes at 9pm.Immediately did a google search to see if there were any other Verizon stores in Chico that were open later.Thankfully this store on Mangrove was....Pablo S, provided us with EXCELLENT customer service, even with us arriving 15 minutes before closing. New phone purchase and transferring everything went smoothly.

Alina was amazing and did everything she could so I could get my new note 10 plus. There were issues with the password over and over but finally after talking to tech support for an hour she finally did it on her own and it worked. Best customer service ever. All in all everyone is awesome their so Id recommend them anyday because they will do what they can to make you leave happy.

My wife and I had difficulty transferring from our old I iPhones to our new iPhones. Being very frustrated and embarrassed we decided to go to a Verizon store for help. We went in and met Pablo. He was very reassuring and made us feel like we were in very knowledgeable hands. Pablo suggested a course of action and we accepted. Within about an hour we had our new phones humming along and we were thrilled. Pablo provided great customer service and we will be Victra customers for sure.

I went into Verizon the other day and had the pleasure of working with URVICIA! She was truly exceptional, she was extremely patient and went above and beyond to make sure my Verizon account was reactivated before I left the store. She had to call corporate and got transferred around about a million different times. Never once did she lose her patience or get frustrated with me. I truly appreciate working with people like her that understand the meaning of customer service. If you ever have a question or need anything in regards to your Verizon cell phone,I highly recommend visiting the Mangrove store next to Safeway in Chico Cali. Thank you again Urivica for all your hard work and making sure everything was reactivated before I left.Sincerely,The gal that had to pay $22.00 bucks to reactivate acct 😂 and the gal we called the awkward Ex-hubby. Bahaha. 😅😂

Wow, first these people are very inconsiderate and condescending. I know I was a rough customer with more than a handful of questions but they basically blew me off because it was too much work for them. They are really only interested in commission. Ultimately locked my parents portal account and told me I was at a loss when the phones I brought in were not only both Verizon but both on accounts previously. This phone switch should have been no problem. Took a quick phone call and visit to the mall store to get what i needed done...switching phones

Look here everyone, ask for Alina. She is the most personable, professional, and knowledgeable associate I have had the pleasure of encountering in a long time. She had answers to all my questions and solutions to my problems... She let me try multiple phone cases until I found the one I love, she attached my screen protector like a boss, and then she even made an inquiry asking her manager to honor a last-minute device exchange on my behalf so that I could get a 128gb instead of the 64gb I originally purchased. That was an ‘above and beyond’ act of customer service for me. She made upgrading my phone a genuine experience, reinventing what previously was a sometimes dreadful experience. I will be returning to Alina indefinitely for all my phone and wireless service assistance from here on out!

I went into the East Avenue store next to Starbucks and Gamestop where I needed a new smart phone for work. I ended up getting good service, except for the fact I was told I would be getting a Google home with the purchase of the Google Pixel. The promotion was explained to me that if I purchase the phone I just needed to send off my proof of purchase to Google Inc. after 14 days and I would get a new Google Home. But I found out that was a lie the promotion actually was if I purchase the Google Pixel then I would have to purchase the Google Home and get a rebate in the mail after the purchase. If it werent for Susan the manager at the Mangrove store I would have been upset unsatisfied customer! She made it right and got me a great deal on the Samsung Galaxy S+ which I will recommend anyone to her!

Buyer beware!!! This is not a corporate store. Tried to purchase a product and was told all sorts of things that official Verizon reps debunked. Couldn’t ship it to my home, had to open it to pair it, had to activate it in the store. I was trying to send it as a gift and the manager opened it after I ordered it to be sent to the store to show other customers. And then had the nerve to say “it’s only plastic”! It wasn’t hers to open! Then tried to charge a restocking fee to return it. Got the same thing at an official store in sealed box, paired without opening it, shipped where I wanted it and told I could activate at home. Don’t go there - manager very unprofessional.

This place doesnt deserve a one star. I have been having issues with them since January when I switched carriers. I keep getting the run-around, no one can give the right information, they dont try to solve the issue.As of April the issue has gone to Ron ( who supposedly is the DM), said he was going to take care of the problem, but as of todays date he hasnt. He wont talk to me personally to take care of this matter, keep telling the workers hes on it, I personally dont believe he is.If this company is what you want for cellular service, go to a corporate store to do your business.I had enough, its now time for me to take it to BBB.

After going into this store on two occasions 58 miles away to make sure my photos were transfered to ipad after they convinced me to switch to android. My photos from 3 years of designing clothing and window displays is gone. Their WI if was down and running slow. They insisted when I was connected to WiFi they would pop up on my ipad. When they did they were not my photos. Instead they are photos of many women naked, meat tomatoes and more. Also another file on their of around 15 peoples ids from chico CA. I have spent 5 days now on the phone just to find my photos are gone. To make it worse I cant delete the perverts photos. I have a chronic illness that stems from sexual abuse. All of this has triggered a lot and CRPS diagnosis has gotten even worse from the stress. Verizon blames icloud and apple applease blames verizon. I am about to go to the police incase these ids were used for identity theft. Im so upset at this experience. So much for my coffee table book idea. It was my plan and now that Im disabled I dont have many ways to do this retirement plan without my photos. Do not switch to android. Your personal history and photos are not safe at this store. If I could rate a 0 I would.

Ive gone to this place a couple of times due to close proximity of my residency. I bought a cell phone there because I needed something quick (prepaid MOTO G), after everything was said and done I paid over $200 for it with the activation fees. Went to target and saw the MOTO E for $40 BUCS. Went there yesterday and I couldnt remember my password to my account, to swap the Moto G to the 4G S3 my G.f. used to use and come to find out I could have changed it really quick in my Verizon account settings, I was told to go to the main office in the MALL. GOTTA SAY I WONT BE GOING THERE anymore. Poor customer service is rampid in this town thank god Ill be moving BACK TO SANTA BARBARA VERY SOON. This hillbilly redneck town can keep its bad habits. This towns a joke. No wonder no one wants to stay here.

The manager that helped me at this store, Bri, was very helpful and did a great job helping me out/trying to fix my bill, but otherwise I had a very poor experience. I upgraded my phone and bought a watch here 2 weeks ago. I was told my first bill, with activation fees, would be $200, then $120ish after. However, my bill showed up as $300!! I had to go into the store multiple times and spend a very long time there to get this fixed. The manager called a customer service person who basically told me she could only refund $45, despite my bill being an additional $100, so I would still be charged an extra $55?? No regard to what I was told vs what happened. I know the staff here do a good job to help with what they can but overall I am very disappointed with Verizons policies and lack of transparency and abundance of fees. When upgrading or buying here just be sure to pay attention to your bill! Never had so many issues with my bill before and I have used Verizon 2 years
