These apartments are pretty great, very well maintained outside and friendly service, but just as any other apartment complex, not without its downsides.1) Roaches problem closer to spring. As soon as you see even 1, call the office and make an appointment to fully spray your place. Youll need to leave your home for like 4 h after they spray.2) Thin walls and ceiling. You will hear neighbors pee, flush, put laundry, walk (if youre on the first floor), etc.3) Cheap laundry/dryer. The laundry machine is one of the ones that have a central port (agitator). Personally, I hate these. I had to throw away several clothing items and towels bc the machine ripped them. Office sent a worker to check on it, but nothing was wrong with it, its just that type of the machine.People like us, who move from one apartment to another know that these things are inevitable, you learn to live with them. Compared to other apartments, these were nice.

Amazing place to live! The area is kept very clean. The apartments are great, I have never lived somewhere so insulated, both in terms of noise and air leaks, simply fantastic. The appliances are all brand new, and the open layout is very modern. Once they add online rent paying it will be perfect. (And a hot tub please!!!!!!!!!!)

I like it here! Too many lawns though. Should have a more water conserving landscape. Really no complaints though.. Villa Risa is a nice place..

I lived here for 4 years and never had any problems. When I moved out they were extremely fair to me about my deposit. The manager at the time was a taller bald guy. I can’t remember his name but he’s a good dude and I really appreciate him for being fair.

I lived here for a short time and it was fantastic. My apartment was pretty roomy and having the gym and swimming facilities was a great feature. Their gym is especially nice and you can go in there almost any time to fit your schedule. Also the employees are very nice and I always enjoyed my interaction with everyone there. Its an amazing place to live!

Visited a friend in these units, thoroughly impressed. Theyre very spacious for the price, everything is new, including all appliances, my friend said that the super is always polite and couldnt be better. If I move back to Chico, Ill be likely be getting an apartment here.

I have lived at villa Risa for 6 years now. The manager is excellent. Tony the property supervisor can fix anything and keeps the apartments in super shape. The landscapers do a wonderful job quietly manicuring the grounds. This is a stress free place to live with many nice people and because of the great construction it is very energy efficient. Low cost. It is impossible to find a better apartment in this area. Again one main reasons the manager is on top of everything and does a super job providing tenants a great safe place to live and a feeling of community.Frank CovichChico Villa Risa resident

I lived there for 2 years. The staff were helpful and the apartments were clean and modern. I would move back if I had not bought a house!

It a great place to live and there are lots of kids in the neighborhood for them to play with. They are very bright on the inside and I feel very happy every time I walk in

Everyone is very friendly, and management is great. Ive loved using the gym. we have a slight bug problem but nothing to crazy for Chico.
