Tax return took forever and my professional didnt know what a short term capital gain was or how to handle it. Also have called ~5 times to try and move the date of my automatic withdraw to pay taxes and every time they tell me everyone is too busy and theyll call me back. Only to never be called back. They basically just use their own version of turbo tax.

Was greeted with by a woman what do you need? man told me he couldnt do my taxes (had all forms). One woman working was barefoot. Took my taxes somewhere else, and they didnt have any issues.

Ms. Hearn is the best. I just wish HR Block lower the prices. They are extremely too high especially for single individuals. I may try doing my own next year and save a couple of hundred dollars or going somewhere where its free.

First off, this place is NOT among the other shops/stores in the Thompson center. Its a little further north. Also there was no receptionist when I came in but someone was happy to greet you.The preparer knew his stuff, was no-nonsense.

Worst experience ever! Originally went to do the drop off service and was told that the tax preparer would call back soon, but instead I had to personally call back after waiting a week to be told that they not only had missed entering us into the system, but also misplaced the files we dropped off... They eventually called me back to tell us that our files were found... and at this point, I decided to make an in person appointment instead of hedging my bets on potentially being forgotten again. Our appointment was for 6-8pm on saturday and we arrived on time at 6pm, but only to wait 50 mins!!! before we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. During the entire time we were sitting in the reception area, the receptionist made no attempts to check up on us or the tax specialist. Instead, she spent half the time being extremely loud while making personal calls and GOSSIPING... It was extremely unprofessional! The tax specialist that we had an appointment with did come out after 30mins of waiting to apologize and as we were leaving as well, but having your client wait 50mins into an APPOINTMENT because you were with another client is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. If you are busy, then we shouldve been told upfront when we came in, and we wouldve been happy to come back the next day...Luckily, after leaving we walked 5 mins to another the H and R Block and were helped immediately by 2 extremely nice and professional tax specialists. Only wished we went there in the first place.Beware of this location unless you want to have your time wasted and tax forms misplaced! There are so many other H and R Block locations and tax preparers in general close by that are 100 times more professional.
