Brought in some old garden shears that have had lots of use but not much love… 15 mins later walked out w shiny sharp shears and only $5. Will be bring all my knives to The Sharp Edge

It was truly an amazing experience to meet Mike (I forgot to ask his name but I figured his name was Mike from the reviews...) yesterday. He did such a tremendous work for my 4 knives less than an hour!! All of them are so sharp now and I am much happier than ever before!! I also appreciate all the great and positive reviews from Mikes customers as well. So glad that I found The Sharp Edge in my city!!

What an awesome experience. I drove up from Northwest Indiana to visit my in-laws and dropped off 16 knives from my Chicago Cutlery set that I use every day and they were ready a few hours later. Mike did an awesome job and even better prices. It was so nice to spend a few minutes talking with him and learning all about his craft when I came to pick them up. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and it shows in his work. I highly recommend him if youre looking for a great experience.

Just had a few stainless kitchen knifes sharpened. Got them home and I can now cut tomatoes into razor thin slices. :)I dropped them off just after 9:00 am and they were ready an hour later. The shop is only a few blocks from me, so its super convenient. The signage is easy to miss, just ring the doorbell next to the pet shop.At five dollars a knife, its way more efficient then me trying to sharp these myself.

I recently took a couple of knives and shears to The Sharp Edge for sharpening and had a great experience. The prices were reasonable, the turnaround was fast, and the work was excellent. I made a big ol mess in my kitchen throwing apples in the air and slicing them with my (now very sharp) chefs blade before they hit the ground. You know, like a samurai.

Mike is fantastic! Great dude. Definitely experienced, he knows his stuff! Took some grooming shears in that werent closing properly... They came out better than new! Sharper than ever and operated perfectly. Great price to boot! Will be recommending for sure.

Didnt get my knives sharp at all. After a few weeks theyre more dull than when I brought them here.

Awesome service. Do not use KnifeAid. The service here was awesome. Dropped off at 10 AM on a Saturday, picked up 1 1/2 hours later. Was able to get 4 kitchen knives, 1 hunting knife and 2 pocket knives sharpened for $5/each. This is a steal compared to sending them online, where it’s $20/each and 2 weeks for turnaround time.Most of the knives were sharpened better than they originally were when I bought them.10/10 would recommend.

I took a serrated Shun knife and a Shun chefs knife into Mike today. I called first and he was very polite on the phone and said I could drop them off in the afternoon. He was very quick so I was able to pick them up at 4pm. They are amazing! So sharp. I haven’t had them sharpened in a very long time and they’re like new. Also, I didn’t have a case so I just brought them in a towel and he wrapped them up in paper for me to pick up. Thanks Mike!

Super awesome service at an affordable price!!He sharpened my 6 kitchen knives (1 cerated bread knife), kitchen sheers and my multi-tool in 90 mins!! It was so affordable that Im planning on making this a quarterly routine, Im never gonna have dull knives again. This guy is awesome!

Went to get my shears sharpened in the morning, and Mike took care of em within 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend coming here if your a barber/cosmetologist in need of getting your shears properly sharpened.
