Just now leaving this salon on 9/22/21 and I will never come to this place again. Ever. All in the name of supporting black business, I decided to give it a try. My entire time sitting there, the nail tech doing my nails and the other nail tech that was there gossiped about current work drama that is going on. I mean, the entire time! Why I, or any customer, needed to hear about what’s going on between the coworkers!? I’m not sure. I truly want to mention those two nail techs names in this review, but I won’t. I just hope that they do see this and know that the professionalism was just NOT THERE and I hope that it doesn’t speak for the work culture of this establishment. Then my nails. Absolutely not. The left hand doesn’t look so bad, but the right hand looks HORRIFIC. I KNOW the nail tech can tell just how displeased I was with her services. I totally WOULD NOT recommend this salon to anyone.

This is definitely my last visit to this salon. Ive been twice before and my previous experiences did not mirror this one. I was a walk in pedicure client on 9/11/21. The young light skinned woman who did my pedicure was pleasant but she did a horrible job and needs to learn how to listen to the client not snicker when she thinks shes correct.While removing my prior no chip, she nicked my cuticle area with the drill several times. When I brought it to her attention the first time, she told me that my nails were weak. But its not like each nail felt that way, it was the 4th toe that she was working on...then my big toe. When I told her Ive never experienced that pain before she said if you get no chip often that happens and chuckled when I said that didnt make sense. The nicks to my cuticle area caused my toes to burn when she used polish remover.... something I have never experienced prior to her touching my toes.My regular nail tech who has been doing nails for over 20 years has never caused me to be in pain. Additionally, if it was due to repeatedly receiving gel pedicures, how did my toe end up bleeding. Let me guess, my weak nails, right? No, it was due to her being inexperienced with positioning the drill correctly. It was so bad that she needed to use liquid bandages in order to continue my pedicure.Long story short, she cut me with the drill, the paint job was extremely sloppy and my nails are uneven.

Ive been on and off here for some time but Kandyce always does my nails right. Shes super chill and conversational but always is willing to work with me regarding an idea Im interested in for my nails. Shes flexible and makes sure I love the work done and I absolutely love that about her. That and her Nas last for weeks which is amazing. Another time I came in to do my nails and the set didnt last long but she let me come in to get them redone and they were back to looking as amazing as they usually are.Im definitely coming back to see her and have her work her magic!

My experience was just okay, glad to be able to book online and get seen on time but I wanted to support to a Black Owned Nail Salon also so I did. I feel like there needs to be more skilled nail techs. I got a full set gel overlay with a pedicure. The nails were fine but the pedicure was just a polish. Ive always gotten pedicures where the techs trim the nails, file and shape the nails, and cut the cuticles. I had to ask the nail tech to do that, with experience she should know that. Also I think there should be available staff for walk ins. The day I went there were several ladies that came in for walk ins because the sign does say accepting walk ins but the techs referred them to the website to book online.

Booking an appointment was very easy. Everyone was nice and polite and very accommodating. I had my nails done by kandace and she did a great job. I will be back I love supporting black owned businesses.

Happy with my Mani and Pedi. Prebooking is advised-- they are slammed but maintain quality work! Great personalities. They offer wine and water. If you ask for sugar scrub with pedi they will include that.

It looks beautiful but there is no ventilation. It is best to make an appointment but walk ins are welcome. Make sure you have plenty of time.I ended up canceling my appointment.

Pretty disappointing. There was nothing spa-like about my first time experience. My encounters with most of the staff were polite and cordial.Unfortunately, my manicure was sloppy and rushed. The person who was initially assigned to me via the website appointment wasnt there. There was no mention as to what happened with that.My pedicure was nicely done but I didnt receive the included oil massage as posted on the website. I was told it would be extra. Very confusing. Seems like there are different interpretations of what is or isnt included in the services depending on who you ask.I notice the response from the owner in these reviews includes a lot of weve been open for 10 years. If thats the claim to fame, then maybe its time for a revamp on aesthetics, production, and procedures. I hope to see this business continue to grow and mature.

We made appointments and were not serviced in a timely manner but the service was excellent. We had wine, our nails look beautiful. Definitely going back to support my black businesses. Stick with black businesses to better them!

I sat and thought long and hard about posting this review. I didnt want to be another person complaining about a black owned business. I expected my experience here to be much better. When I came into the salon its was so disappointing. This nail salons decor is so beautiful but they are lacking in customer service and professionalism. The receptionist sat and ate her food in front of clients. Most of the stations were messy and had no organization. They had food and drinks out at their stations. There was clorox cleaning products out in plain site. Despite all of that my pedicure turned out nice but this nail salon lacks professionalism I will not be returning.

First off, I always support black businesses! Some aren’t supported for this simple reason. The price was listed differently online and I specifically showed the young lady the price and nail deal that I wanted and she said alright. My total somehow came out to $90! The techs are allowed to set their own prices regardless of the prices that are intact online, apparently. My toes and hands are not $90 worth! My nails are fat and the acrylic is all over the place and my polish on some of my toes are sloppy as ever. Money is never an issue; but quality over quantity! This was done 3 days ago, this looks horrible! Hopefully they stop misleading people and the work looks like this.

She was on the phone the entire time. I’m sure her work is better when she don’t allow distractions. The salon has potential but they really need to step up the professionalism . I support good business not just black business

Aside from the attitude I received today from Kandyce when I asked a question about the price, Ive never had an issue here. Ive gone to at least 4 different nail techs (whoever was available). The owner is very friendly whenever I see her. The young woman at the front desk did well handling the situation earlier. I love being able to make appointments and the relaxed atmosphere, partially because children are only allowed when being serviced. I will keep going back, and I hope others give it a try as well. Ive been a client since 2019.

Great experience with hair and nail services. Only downside is I had to bring my own towel. Other than that, enjoyed it.

I was so excited to do business with my own people for a change. But I regretted it almost immediately. Staff was very unprofessional lots of curse words and talking about personal lives. Lack of creativity and professionalism. My service was two days ago and already my nails have started to come up. I paid 180.00 for a fill in a full set and a pedicure. Completely unsatisfied with the services they provided. Oh and if youre concerned with covid they do not wear masks nor require their staff to wear them. Services take extremely long to complete. I wish I didnt have to give them a star at all. Chairs and equipment is not handicap accessible. Chairs and nail tables are wobbly and not sturdy so dont get too comfortable.

Jakira the manager is excellent to work with, she placed me with Sheila who does a beautiful job every time. Both young ladies are very sweet, they truly want you to be happy with your service and that means the world to me. See you in two weeks!

This black own business is a joke. They actually told me that the way the chairs are made I wouldnt be comfortable. They could do my hands but not my feet. I was appalled by this. I left and would never go back. Very unprofessional. They lack customer service for sure!

First off, the nail salon was immaculate and gorgeous with a beautiful chandelier in the middle of the salon. The decor was 5 stars! However, some of the staff present there on the day I went is part of what made me give the stars I gave. So, I went there to support a black owned (particularly black woman owned) business and some of the staff was extremely unprofessional in how they spoke negatively about their clients and complaining about their workload in front of their present client. I have a feeling this is not the atmosphere when the owner is present, because I did observe most of the staff acting professional with clients. Also, the quality of my nails are what made me choose 2 stars. I have never received this quality of horrible work in my life! Because of the quality alone, I am never going back! I have never been disrespected in my life, especially for the price I paid and tip I gave (I was always taught to give gratuity for services). To the owner, I say your salon is beautiful and if it wasnt for the bad apples your salon wouldve been an experience in your business. However, I still say I am not going back since this was a traumatizing experience for me.

I received the worst pedicure ever!! It was done in 20 minutes ( no exaggeration). The nail tech Kandyce did a horrible job. She literally dipped my foot it the water twice , picked at my cuticles very roughly, and topped it off with a sloppy paint job. Granted I book the appointment wrong and thought they would be able to accommodate me. After a discussion about what I wanted done, it seem like she just had an attitude from there. Meanwhile, my sister a couple chairs over received the full nine- yards of a great pedicure from Dana.

Great place to get nails done that is Black - owned! I was a little leery about getting a gel overlay as I hadn’t done it in years! Sheila made me comfortable and suggested a length I can work with! Nails came out beautiful and superStrong! No chips scratches or cracks and almost2 weeks in! There service was also timely! Can’t wait to return!

Update: The owner, Bianca, contacted me about my review and told me to come back in for a complimentary service to redo my nails. I agreed to come in and they redid my no-chip manicure, and redid the toes that were messed up. I’m glad that this salon checks reviews and cares about their customers enough to rectify a situation that was less-than-satisfactory.First and last time coming here. Got a no-chip mani and a spa pedi and these do not look like a professional job. Nail polish doesn’t fully cover some of my nails, it’s thick, and the polish was not cleaned up properly, leaving the paint on the surrounding skin. There are also some small hairs that were painted into my nails, as well as weird discoloration on another. I also noticed that they share brushes between clients without sanitizing them first. I just got them done today and I am beyond disappointed and can’t believe I paid $60 for this mani-pedi. I didn’t even know what to say to my nail tech, because if I said something she would’ve had to start over from scratch as it wasn’t just one nail that was messed up—it was all of them. Really wanted to like this place but I will not be returning. If I’m going to spend that much, I want my nails to at least look decent.

Spoke with the owner very polite and well spoken Unfortunately she wasnt taking any new clients, There was no reason why , She does have other nail tech that she said could help me , Went inside to get a business card 1 tech looking like she is good. But there was another one who still looks like she needs a little more classes. I love supporting Black owners but it becomes a problem when only one or two people can actually do 💅 and the owner isnt taking new clients. Just to be clear I went into this business and there were only 2 nail tech but Im sure she has more .

The staff was very nice. However, I did not care for the experience. There was one technician trying to service three clients. Its was just a bit convoluted. My nails were soaked too long, they were very soft afterwards, had to be cut. I expressed that if my nails were being cut that I would get an overlay, but was told that I would have to wait at least forty five minutes, which I could not do, but got the no chip.Since my visit,EVERY one of my nails have broken. In all the years of getting manicures, I have never had anything like this happen. These are the before and after, and those were my nails.

My friend and I had a horrible experience. Thankfully she was refunded. I didn’t even bother trying. The one star is for how friendly the staff was. The actually nail service was the worst I’ve experienced. Not worth the time, took 3 hours for just a manicure. Save your time, save your money and let the professionals take care of your nails.

One of the best, if not best nail spa experiences Ive had. The nail spa is clean & upscale, all of the utensils were sterilized and the work station was neat. My nail tech was Geneva. She did an AMAZING JOB! She was professional yet personable. I posted a picture of my no chip fill in with hand painted art.The pedicure was so relaxing. The foot massage put me to sleep. Im glad I didnt cancel my appointment. Ive been looking for a new salon for 2 years. Beautiful Sister Nails has definitely earned a repeat &loyal customer. Great Job ladies!

Visited this salon today and was beyond pleased with the service. Waited a little for my tech to arrive but she was on point and so was the customer service. I was greeted when I walked in and the owner assured me that my tech would be arriving shortly. Relaxed ambiance and reasonable prices!

I was a walk-in Soon as i walked I stood there for 3 minutes just looking around one girl just looking at my until she finally greeted me I asked for Full set and eyebrows.. seated to get my full set was asked how i wanted my nails clear coffin shape... I got my clear but no coffin shape....

My nail was not what I asked for and badly shaped. Took about 2 1/2 hours to get done. The person who did my nail was Breonna. She was unorganized and do not know how to shape nails.

I think Beautiful Sisters Nail Spa is in a great location and its black-owned however, this is not the place to come if you need to be serviced promptly. Last year, I came in with my bf for a pedi and the quality of work was okay, but the atmosphere was amazing and that is why I decided to come back. Today I waited 30 minutes to be serviced after my appointment time and ended up leaving. I understand people run behind schedule and etc but it would be really nice for someone to reach out to the customer to notify them that things are running behind. I think this would be an easy thing to implement considering the business takes your information when you set up an appointment online. Im happy to know that business is good but I think your attention to the appointment schedule could be better.

They were unprofessional that’s one and second my sister nails didn’t last. I will definitely be calling owner to discuss what can be done. They can’t do a lot of things that I have asked and they had attitudes for no reason. They were talking about each other and other clients. They were answering they phones every second while doing my sister nails and I. they charge you for taking off previous work which is just color. It’s weird because that’s what a fill in is so clearly your gonna have to take off the color. They are young but too good too be true because I know the owner would never allow half of the stuff that happened. Unfortunately i would not return but a solution for my sister and I nails need to issued. Mind you WE TIPPED BOTH NAIL TECHS. it was a horrible experience and I visited from another state and I was so happy to SUPPORT A BLACK OWNED SALON but it was just disappointing. Try at your own risk but I would NOT recommend.PS. UPDATE FOR THISE EMAILING ME. Owner done nothing about anything however she did call me and say she was gonna issue a refund but never did. One of stylist decided to go on Instagram and bash my sister and I. This is the most ghetto salon in Chicago. The techs can’t do nails PERIOD. I am so disappointed like this is my own people. My first time there was a great. The tech did my feet well and I enjoyed the pedi. As a result I booked this person again. I arrived there to not only wait over an hour but also switch to a new tech last minute. ( I booked my previous tech on purpose.) The site told me my total would be $25 after my deposit of $5 but the tech then said that I owed 30 after my deposit. I’m very disappointed after I thought I found a new salon will not return.

I would love to rate this place higher. The space was simply beautiful. However based on my experience, I wont be back. I called and made an appointment for 2pm, when I spoke with the owner, she told me it might be a bit of a wait. That was fine, so I showed up at 2:15. At 3:30, and seeing a couple people with appointments after me be serviced before me, I left. I waited for over an hour, wasnt offered any water, or wasnt given an apology. I felt like my business didnt matter, so I took it elsewhere. I hope they get a little bit more organized -this place could be great.

I booked a soak off And a overlay and spa pedicure for 11am today which is December 31 2020 I get there and had to wait a little while because there was another client that was in my time slot which I had no problems with (I understand things happen)however I had to wait to get my pedicure which I didn’t get because I was waiting a long time I ended up leaving there about 2ish when my appointment was for 11am with just a over lay and mediocre polish I can’t say for sure I’ll return but I will say that Shona did a good job with the overlay but time management is important especially when you a have to book online and pay a deposit.

I visited this salon exactly a week ago. My boyfriend and I both got mani pedis but I got a no chip mani. We called ahead of time to make appointments for 6:30. When we got there we had to wait almost 30 minutes for our services. My nail tech talked on her phone and ignored me the entire time she serviced me. Also my no chip mani is coming off already after only 7 days. My boyfriend’s toe nails were cut unevenly and we are overall unsatisfied with our visit. I really wanted to like it because the location is close to our homes but I was very disappointed and will not be returning.

I wish i could go below 1 Star one it took 5 hrs to get my nails and feet done then I texted the owner Bianca Thursday she’s never got a reply then i sent her a picture of my foot who also did my nails and let her know that the nails on my right hand looked dull then Saturday i sent her a picture of my foot letting her see how my foot do not look like it just didn’t get done Wednesday still no reply I’m very disappointed and i will never be back

I visited Beautiful Sisters Nail Spa while I was in town a week ago. I saw some reviews and wanted to support and find a black owned shop on the Southside of Chicago. I scheduled my appointment on a Thursday morning. When I walked in the energy was extremely low and distant. Almost reminded me of detention in middle school. However, the ladies warmed up more as my appointment went on. Shaunie did my nails and they came out fabulous. I mean seriously, she has a gift sent from God himself. Shaunie really needs to be teaching other nail techs how to do the doggone thang, because YES SHE IS REALLY THAT GOOD! I particularly liked how she educated me on how to keep my nails healthy. Shes the bomb dot com honey! Next was my pedicure. I must admit the experience started off horrendous. Jekerrah started my pedicure and her energy was totally off. Im a huge energy person and if someone isnt at 100%, theres no way in the world you need to come within an inch of my feet. Happy Nail Tech = Happy Feet! She was dry, very short with me and felt like she just didnt want to be there honestly. I also didnt get my legs/ankles moisturized with oil or massaged, which is usually a standard practice at any spa/ nail shop you go to. About half way through, I told her I dont feel like Im getting a pedicure. By this point I was boiling, because I couldve done the work she did at home. I didnt need to go to the shop to get that done. Luckily, the other pedicurist Andrea stepped in to work on one of my toes. When they tried to switch back to Jekerrah, I immediately asked if Andrea could finish the job. Andrea was more open and lively. I felt secure in her hands. My only regret was that I didnt ask for Andrea sooner. If I did, I wouldve probably been more in love with my pedicure. There was an issue with my toe polish and I ended up having to go back the next morning so they could fix it. I didnt trip. They were quite understanding and Andrea fixed it immediately. Im just glad I had the time to get it fixed. It only took Andrea 15 minutes. At that point I met the owner Bianca, who was just a ray of sunshine. I mean seriously her energy is infectious and I loved it. I will definitely be back when I am back in Chicago, but only Shaunie and Andrea will lay a hand on fingers and toes.

It is basically a learning academy. , the young ladies are not licensed and are very unprofessional. I was overcharged and my thumb nail is destroyed. This place should not even be open if it cannot meet proper sanitation control . Which it can’t . The young lady had an attitude the whole time and after I made her aware my nails are not correct and need another coat she replied they dry they good . Worst place for me to go as a visitor trying to support another fellow business. I’m highly disappointed

I was very disappointed In This salon. When I walked in the shop There are only 2 people there. There was No good customer service .She did tell me that there were no nail Technicians there But she was available But her prices were different from the shops Starting a $50 for a Fill in . Now why should I pay $50 for a filling When I can go down the street to the Chinese get How full set in a pedicure for that Outrageous price. Black home business people need to step up their game Black on businesses Need to step up their game Do some market research Before you come out of the gate Charging rodeo drive Prices In the hood.

The shop it self isn’t bad. Nice in the inside, suppose to offer wine. However, appointments do not start on time nor close to time, they spend 2hrs or more just to do only nails. Pace needs to get better. I’m not sure do they take walk ins without keeping track of people with actual appointments.

The biggest issue for me is that the prices are extremely misleading. Apparently, this shop lets the nail techs pick their prices for the services regardless of what website says. You all should let clients know ahead of getting the service done so people aren’t blindsided by the ridiculous prices. On top of that the service I received on my nails isn’t even worth the amount of money I paid. My nails are in excruciating pain.

So today was my first time visiting this salon and also my last visiting any other nail salon. My experience was overall positive and my little girl absolutely loves her nails too as she was also a walk-in with me. The ladies were experienced and friendly and the owners smile caught my gaze as I entered the business. I am very picky about my nails and I let Sheila know exactly what I wanted and she delivered. Thanks for making this a positive experience and I can’t wait to continue supporting this business. Bravo!!

I had a pleasant experience everyone was very professional and kind and the wine was great! The nail technician was very kind and patient. Although three of my nails have popped up around the cuticle the glue has unravelled.

I had an appt for a soak off and a full liquid gel set. Apparently the young lady that did my nails wasnt proficient in working with gel or maybe she was just in a hurry to go home.I asked for oval nails, showed her a picture of a set Id had done before and she assured me she could deliver. The first problem was with the application. Super thick and not smooth. Then comes the shaping and smoothing. Both were subpar. Not to mention that she cut two of my fingers, one of which bled.I dont recommend this shop to anyone until they get their skills honed. Might I add that this complete fail cost me $90? A total waste because now I have to pay someone else to correct them. I received a call from Bianca, the owner, asking me to let her try to make it right. I went back today and was quite impressed with the corrections. She gave me EXACTLY what I asked for! So Ill end this revue by saying, check out Beautiful Sisters Nail Salon. I’m currently here now, I haven’t been in a nail salon in a while but upon entering me and my sister was talking to see and Ms. Bianca greeted us with a welcoming smile. I came for my nails but the ambiance is so chill and calm. I’m 6 months pregnant and very relaxed 😌. I will be back for sure!

I’m always nervous about trying out a nail salon that I’m not familiar with but after only a few minutes of walking in, my mind was put at ease. Everyone was so courteous and professional and the atmosphere in general was very pleasant. The shop was very clean, stations were uncluttered and the music selection was perfect! My appointment started exactly at the scheduled time and my tech was ready to get started right away; no fooling around trying to get situated, she was ready to roll! My nail tech Diamond was so very sweet and attentive to details, making sure that I was satisfied at several points along the way. The conversation was great and my nails came out beautifully!

Salon is beautiful & comfortable. The staff are nice. I wasnt satisfied with the quality of work. I got a Mani & pedi with regular polish. Polish chipped all up the very next day. I called the salon, the owner did offer to fix this one time. Also suggested that I get no chip for $10 more. The service was already $50, no thank you.

These ladies were absolutely lovely. It just seems like they may still be learning. The experience level was not where I needed it to be.

I had an amazing time at the salon tonight, i got a pink and white ombre full set with a pedicure and it came out wonderful. I forgot her name but she really took her time to make them look great. I received a leg massage and some wine, i dont think Ive ever been this relaxed at a salon (I dont usually go). The vibes were very warm and family oriented and if i feel like gettin my nails done Ill definitely come back here.

Today I was very impressed with this nail salon. The staff was extremely welcoming when I first entered the salon. My nail technician was Kayla, she was very nice and professional. She was very dedicated to doing my nail which I absolutely love. I can tell that she loves her job. This will be my new nail technician for now on. Thanks for the phenomenal customer service.

I had a scheduled appointment with one nail tech . After doing my nails she had someone else do my pedicure ,so that she could get prepared for her next client, the tech doing my pedicure then had someone else do my polish because her client had arrived. I was confused as to why I had to have so many different nail techs when I had made a appointment with one person. Then even tho I paid a deposit on line with my credit card when paying in store they pass the credit card fee of $3 to the custumer. There are no clear partitions between you and nail tech when doing manicures. Social distance is not being practced here. I will not be returning to this salon but I will continue to go to a black owned nail salon and spa

This is the best nail spa that I’ve ever had the pleasure of patronizing. The women who work here are a God send. There aren’t very many black owned nail salons that cater to us; but everyone is welcomed. When you first walk in the ambience is so calming and everyone is so welcoming. Even the design of the salon is serene and beautiful.I made three appointments through their online booking service, but due to a discontinued service one of my appointments was canceled. They called in advance and apologized and let me know that they no longer had the service. I arrived on time and she was finishing another client, so they asked if I wanted to start my pedicure earlier than I had booked; since it would be a wait. This was great because my nail appointment was at 12:00pm and my original pedicure was at 4:30pm. They do have complementary wine, but I don’t drink so I opted for a cupcake instead.They take their time on you and really make sure that you are having a great experience. I got a gel full set and pedicure done, and I really enjoyed myself. Sometimes they will do walk-ins if they have time, but it may be a wait. Book ahead people, and go on a day when you’re not in a hurry. It doesn’t matter who you see they all do great work Sis! So treat yourself and let these wonderful people do your nails. 3 stars because the employees were friendly and welcoming, was offered champagne which was nice but my nails look awful. I came here because I wanted to support black woman owned of course, and the average reviews were good, but I am unhappy with the service on how my nails look. I didn’t want to complain and hurt the nail techs feelings or anything in front of others. I paid and everything, also tipped just because the young lady was very sweet and kind. I called and spoke with the manager on Friday early afternoon and she mentioned I should be hearing from the owner to set up a fix soon. It is now Monday and I haven’t received any call regarding the matter. I am VERY big on Customer Service and fixing situations/services that customers have a problem with and compensating the customer in the best way. I have called the business number MULTIPLE times and sent pics and a description of what I was unhappy with when I got off the phone with the manager. Waiting on the phone call to receive a solution.I received a call back while out of town to schedule my nails being redone with the owner Bianca for today, Tuesday 7/21. I was scheduled for 1pm .. I was told she made a run to Aldi and should return soon. The manager was unable to reach her. It is now 2pm, I’ve been really really patient. Apparently she was aware and it was put in the schedule that she had a 1pm appt. At this point it is so unprofessional and I would never think that the owner herself would allow this.Now 10 mins later (2:10) she has called the manager back and was trying to have someone else take care of me with the incorrect service. I don’t want someone else doing my nails because I don’t want the same situation of being unhappy with my nails nails to occur again. As well as my Appt not being scheduled with someone else. What I paid for a week and a half ago was for a gel fullset, and the service they just tried to have me get was a gel manicure. No, the service I paid for that I’m scheduled with the owner to get fixed and make right is what I need. She is now on her way for the appt.Bianca the owner was kind and welcoming when she arrived after me waiting. Happy with my nails, they look great. MUCH better than when the other nail tech did them on 7/9.

My experience at Beautiful Sisters was very disappointing. From the beginning, I was rooting for this Black owned business, but the way I was treated left me with a bad perception of this place and I will not be returning. From the very first time I visited, there were red flags. I booked my appointment and was specific about what I wanted, and it totaled one specific price. However, after being serviced, the nail tech charged me about $30 more than what the original price was set for. This issue left me feeling unsettled, considering I booked it in advance and was given a different price, but I didn’t contest it like I should have. It wasn’t until I was charged more than was originally stated the next two times I visited, that I realized this place was ripping me off. The second time I went, I was getting a polish change. My nail tech picked out some colors that she thought I would like (I was looking for a nude color), she came back with a couple of colors and I chose one that had a greyish tone to it. She did not tell me the color she chose would be an additional 10-dollar charge because it was gel. Communicating that to me in advance before putting in on my nails, would have been more professional and respected. But to polish my nails, and then upon check out, realize I’m being charged more money than I was booked for, was the second red flag. I reached out to the manager/owner to inform her of my experiences there thus far and she seemed to be very understanding and wanted to help. She said she will be in charge of booking my appointments from now on, which I happily accepted. I thereafter reached out to her to book an ombre fill in set and shape change. She told me what the price would be before I came in, but similarly to what has happened EVERY other time I went, I was charged way more than I was told I would be. The issue isn’t the money because I had it, it’s the principle behind trying to cheat me and not communicate where the extra charges were coming from until the work was already done and it was time to pay. When I told my nail tech, “no the price should be what the manager told me it would be”, she goes over to the manager and convinces her of the price she came up with—I felt she was being very money hungry at that point. I understand wanting to get paid for your work, and I’m more than willing to do that because that’s only fair. But to continuously try to upcharge me, was a slap in the face especially after I was already told what the price would be beforehand by the manager. The manager did not stand by the price she originally told me, and asked if I understood why the nail tech was charging me more money than originally stated by her. I should have stood my ground and advocated for myself, but I felt my emotions getting the best of me so I paid and left. Never would I want to feel as low as I did when being in that shop because of how many times I was cheated out of money. What if I didn’t have it? What if I only brought the amount of money they TOLD me it would be? It’s no coincidence that the three times I went to this shop, I left being charged more money than I should have. I feel that originally my nail tech came across as being nice and friendly, but when it came to charging me, she was taking advantage of me because of my youth and how kind I was. In addition to the money issue, I had a really big issue with sanitization practices. My nail tech used an already used filer on me and cut me to the point I was bleeding. This is unsanitary on so many levels—a disease or any other germ could have been spread to me from that incident alone! She said she was going to throw it out, but the next time I returned it was still there.(Note: this was before COVID)

Went there for the first time today and my experience was wonderful. Everything is very clean and sanitary and the nail techs make you feel right at home. Nina was especially good! She was on time, so nice and my nails look perfect!

They dont have full time employees the staff is mostly students who are still learning and not being supervise and they charge you full price and my bill reflected full price so everyone working yesterday early action was trainees except 2

OMG, in short nothing less than AMAZING! I loved the services. I received a pedicure, and no chip manicure from Selitha whose a natural nail specialist. She was extremely professional and nice. She got me in and out. I was a walk in. Although I called and the said I could walk in. The atmosphere was beautiful. I won’t go anywhere else. She has a new regular client. I was SOOOOOOOOO Pleased!!!

I have found my new nail home. Bianca was fabulous she’s so professional and has great conversation. The atmosphere was very elegant and homey if I could rate higher I would my nails and feet look gorgeous thank you so much
