Greenhouse Loft is an amazing event space. PERIOD. Spencer and crew are some of the most professional in the city. I recently threw my wife a virtual 40th birthday party there. Due to Covid, we had to approach this very differently. All our friends had to join us virtually to keep a safe and fun environment. Thanks to Spencer everything went above and beyond my expectations. For a night with a guest list of two people it still felt like a big celebration.Thanks to Greenhouse Loft’s state of the art AV set up, I was able to patch in our friends and family via Zoom on Greenhouse Loft’s video wall. We booked our wedding DJ for the night and it sounded amazing though the Void sound system. The flowers, table design and food all looked amazing in the space. The clean modern environment is bright, warm and timeless.I can’t praise Spencer and his crew at Greenhouse Loft enough. One of the best looking and professional venues in the city.

Long story short, we ended up at getting married at Greenhouse Loft, Ovations sister venue due to COVID and government event size restrictions. We originally fell in love with Ovation because of how gorgeous and spacious it is (we both had large invite lists and were planning for about 200!) But when we didnt need as much space, Spencer made the transition easy.Both venues are beautiful, the event teams are professional, their DJ sound systems and add on services are top notch, and you honestly could not ask for more beautiful wedding day back drops for your photos.Their flexibility and support during these times were so appreciated and we had a wonderful wedding day. Ive attached photos of our social distanced set up. If you are thinking about doing a micro wedding you cannot beat this. We had 30 people and everyone felt very safe with the indoor/outdoor flow and the ample space we had to continue to social distance to everyones comfort level.I can only imagine Ovation would have been just as lovely, but we personally wanted to try something new after plans fell through. And I cannot thank their team enough for the support.It was a great day, thank you, Spencer & Lindsay!

Im a wedding photographer in Chicago, and photographing at Greenhouse Loft is hands down one of my FAVORITE venues in the city! Cannot recommend enough to any couples out there wanting a beautiful, clean, bright venue!

Greenhouse Loft is a stunningly beautiful space, and their unique approach to event planning removes many of the complexities from hosting. It’s nearly a all-in-one package with so many services included that would otherwise be a la carte at other venues. It’s all clearly explained on their website and reduces the number of decision points. Spencer and his team are knowledgeable, creative, well-connected in the industry, and, most importantly, deliver in everything they say. We hosted a 100 person party for our son and the indoor/outdoor spaces were ideal. Felt comfortable with our size gathering, but would feel just as good with double the guests. The catering kitchen, lighting, A/V and DJ infrastructure, daylight, private garden, security, guest parking lot, and even a private prep room for family…all made it easy to settlein for guests, host, and vendors. It all came together for a seamless event. We will surely work with this team again on future parties, whether at Greenhouse Loft of one of the sister venues.

Hi! We had our wedding after rescheduling so many times due to Covid on 4/4/2021 (Easter Sunday) 50 closest family & friends attended and we could of not predicted what an amazing time we all had! Greenhouse loft were amazing to work with from beginning to end! We were able to use the garden for our cocktail hour (the weather was on our side that day @ 70 degrees) and ceremony/dinner inside! We used the art gallery to take photos, which worked out great! Greenhouse loft is the perfect venue, they provide a vintage photo booth, DJ, a great bar set up & overall a space like no other! They worked great with our vendors and the day of the wedding being the 1st one they performed since Covid we give Grennhouse Loft an A+. All of our guest were inmpressed with the venue as well. Working with Spencer and his team is a wonderful experience every single time. They make it so simple to come in and tour the space and get all of your questions answered, though much of their information on date availability, rental pricing & information etc. is already on their website. Very streamlined and organized! The space itself is STUNNING with versatile options on how to best utilize the spaces for your day. And the rental comes with the inclusion of an awesome Style Matters DJ and Photo Booth?! This hardly scratches the surface of what this space has to offer, so I really just recommend you check it out for yourself! If youre looking for a space with modern, industrial, romantic, garden & intimate vibes and TONS of inclusions, this is the venue for you!

She and the venue space truly allowed us the freedom to craft our perfect wedding. Additionally, they provide several add-on services that will only make everything better! I recently went to go view the Greenhouse Loft as well as the sister location Ovation. They were absolutely stunning both different and unique. Spencer and his team were quick to respond and were able to answer any and all questions that myself and my fiancé had. Unfortunately we are not going to be having our wedding in Chicago but if we did we would definitely be having it at the Greenhouse. Thanks again Spencer you and your team were great!

As a Wedding Planner in Chicago, we chose Greenhouse Loft for the venue for our very own wedding because it’s absolutely gorgeous, the team is stellar/very responsive and there is some awesome added value like new tables, chairs, professional DJ, photobooth, parking lot and more that come with that rate. Greenhouse Loft is definitely a beautiful gem with fair pricing and makes for a gorgeous event! We ultimately had to downsize to another place (thanks pandemic) but I’ve seen many weddings here that we’re just magical.

I cannot possibly imagine rating this place less than 5 stars. We just had our pandemic wedding at Greenhouse, and it was so unbelievably special and intimate, I can’t imagine how it could have any more perfect. Emily and Spencer are so communicable and helpful, they are really the best in the business. So many wedding venues are so stuffy and expensive and extravagant, and that just was not our style—instead, the gorgeous weather was the perfect scenario for our little ceremony with our closest friends and family in Greenhouse’s modern and minimalist rooms. The wedding suite/bridal suite is perfect and adorable, and all of the staff was SO helpful and kind and attentive. Emily was so well organized and help me remember all the tiny moments and my husband and I were so grateful for how flexible and kind they were. Their prices are so reasonable and they offered the absolute best recommendations for catering and bartenders etc. we would get married here every year again if we could!!!! They were so thoughtful with all safety precautions including masks and hand sanitizer.

My fiancé and I decided to have a short 4-month engagement and were initially feeling the pressure to make so many decisions for the wedding. Once we found Greenhouse Loft, everything fell into place so quickly and easily. The staff at GHL were incredible and so helpful, and the suggested vendors list made decision making a breeze. Every vendor suggested was so professional and knowledgable--and theyve all worked together before! We feel so blessed to have worked with such an incredible team--both the staff at GHL and the vendors they suggested. Our wedding was flawless and exactly what we had envisioned. The natural light and beautifully simple space gave us the perfect space for us to share this day with our families and closest friends. GHL made our wedding day perfect, and we recommend this incredible place highly and without a single reservation.

Wonderful wedding venue

We attended a beautiful wedding at the Greenhouse Loft. It was our first time. This venue is perfect for an outdoor wedding or any important party.

Greenhouse Loft was perfect for our wedding! They have an outdoor patio, backup gallery space for rain, and a huge loft area with floor-to-ceiling windows, white curtains, and a buffet bar separating dinner from dancing. We had 140 in this space and it felt just right.We were the first wedding with the new ownership and in that, we lucked out. Spencer is so accessible and accommodating. Hes an expert with no airs about him. Hes making great changes like more options for caterers, parking, and furniture. He helped us with drop off, ceremony coordination, and let us lay out the space how we saw fit. Were thrilled with Greenhouse Loft. I would love to go back there as a guest :)

We came here for a wedding in June and it was so beautiful! Very modern and sleek with a lot of space for guests. The couple seemed very happy with the venue and as a guest it was very convenient they had parking.

We loved having our wedding at Greenhouse Loft. It is a beautiful venue and has great natural light for photos. I highly recommend the candle package, and you HAVE TO book the ultimate photo booth. We have a TON of fantastic photos, and our guests LOVED that they could take home pictures. Additionally, on my wedding day my grandmother fell outside and we had to call an ambulance….the next business day I received a call from Meghan at Greenhouse Loft asking how my grandmother was doing. It was amazing costumer service. One word of caution…do not pick Feast & Imbibe as your caterer if they are still an approved caterer for Greenhouse Loft. F&I was a hot mess on our wedding day. We were grateful that the team at Greenhouse Loft helped to keep the evening organized and listened to our catering concerns after our wedding day. We are so glad we went with Greenhouse Loft. What a great experience!

The venue was above and beyond what we could have expected for our winter wedding (December 2019). So intimate and fulfilled our every need!

I was looking for a place that would inspire creative and innovative thinking for our non profit strategic planning meeting. As soon as I came across the Greenhouse Lofts pictures online I was sold. Though, as good as the online photos are, the real thing is so much better. It offers beautiful natural light, something that is rarely found in a hotel conference room. The staff were helpful, willing and accommodating. I would recommend it and I would absolutely use the space again if given the opportunity.

Went here for a wedding. It was beautiful!!! The staff was great. The food (vegan and non-vegan options) were so delicious! Great place for an intimate event!

We had our wedding ceremony outside in the beautiful courtyard and the dinner / reception inside. Everything was perfect and well coordinated throughout the weekend. The space worked so well, intimate but large enough to not feel cramped. We loved having the outdoor area, the bridal suite, on-site parking options, a gorgeous lobby, and the simple beauty of the space.

Friend had a wedding here. A really nice venue with an open roof courtyard, it even rained on their wedding day! Im really happy for them, the rain is a good sign.

We hosted my mothers Celebration of Life at Greenhouse Loft on Friday, March 30th. I cant say enough about how wonderful the entire Greenhouse loft staff was to work with, and especially Meghan. She was patient, understanding, and thorough in helping us with planning, changes in planning, and working through each small detail. During this very challenging time in our lives, it was refreshing that Meghan made planning so easy!The event was amazing. When we arrived for set up, everything was exactly as we had discussed and Meghan and other staff members were on hand to help with all the details. The space is remarkably beautiful and the outside garden is such an added bonus. Im so happy that we chose Greenhouse Loft to celebrate my mothers life. While it was a sad day, the amazing staff and beautiful event space gave us the opportunity to have a meaningful celebration of my moms life well lived. It was perfect!

I fell in love with Greenhouse Loft before I even saw it! The day of my walk through, it snowed unexpectedly and the natural light that still came through and looked beautiful was astounding. Its a flexible space, so customizing it was easy. I went with minimal decorations plus the candle package and by evening the whole place had a shimmery gold haze to it. Perfect for a cozy glittery wedding. The staff is wonderful too, always helping me answer my silly constant questions.

Recently attended a wedding at this venue. The place is nice looking but their AC doesnt work very well. You would think that a place that is designed to host several hundred people for an important event such as a wedding that they would at least address that issue! Greenhouse loft get your AC problem fixed Pronto before others have to deal with what we had to deal with on a hot summer day!!!!!

Greenhouse Loft was the first venue we toured after getting engaged and it was an easy decision to host our May wedding ceremony and reception there. The space is GORGEOUS with beautiful floor to ceiling windows overlooking their private, enclosed garden space, bright airy area for dinner and an equally large space for dancing and the bar. While it was too chilly to host our cocktail hour outside as planned, the garden space was a wonderful plus to allow guests to mingle and cool off after rocking it on the dance floor and the view of the greenery and flowers outside made it feel like spring indoors. (The indoor gallery was a modern and bright alternative space for our cocktail hour and guests had no idea that we had made a last minute change).While the space is beautiful and photos speak for themselves, what set Greenhouse Loft apart was the consistent high quality of customer service they provided. Every email we sent to GHL staff was responded to within 24 hours with helpful details and suggestions. Their staff was supremely friendly and was a joy to work with! The fact that coat check, tables and chairs, and several larger tables for the bar, etc, are included was the cherry on top and helped reduce cost and planning in other aspects of our wedding :)I am so thrilled that we chose to host our wedding at Greenhouse Loft and would make the same decision over and over again. Thank you for being such an incredible venue- our guests were so impressed and we had such an incredible time!

Lovely event space. I was here for Purple Asparagus Corks & Crayons fundraiser (which I also volunteered at) and was very impressed. The natural light is beautiful, and the outdoor space on a nice day is fantastic. Also, they recycle or composted everything from the event (a food tasting). +1 for the environment!

Cool space went for an Italian wine tasting, trade only. Nice natural light all thorough out the space. Only downside is no parking. It would be nice if they offered valet.

Ran a 3 day senior leadership meeting for our company and everything went off without a hitch! Thanks to Greenhouse we had the space necessary to house almost 200 people and the natural light really helped with the all day event so that people did not get too tired. The wooden chairs can be a bit uncomfortable for all day sitting, but other than that we had a great experience working with the Greenhouse Team! Highly recommend it

I booked GHL for my wedding on 11/2/19. Overall I loved it - the space is absolutely beautiful - we bought the candle package which looked stunning at night. The set up was exactly what we asked for and they worked really well with all the vendors, specifically our caterer, Big Delicious Planet. Ownership of GHL changed midway through the planning process/after we booked - the new owner did a ton of upgrades to the space (new DJ booth, sound system, bridal suite and photo booth) - we got all these perks for free, which was amazing. They also let us come early on the day of to take some of the wedding party and family photos- we had planned to take these outside but it was too cold and they were super flexible/accommodating with us.My only 2 issues were - first, our point person from the venue was really kind, but ended up having emergency dental surgery 2 weeks before our date. While this was obviously unplanned no one from the venue reached out to let us know so I just stopped getting responses from her in the 2 weeks before the date. I would just recommend they have a back up plan for these situations to at least let people know.And second, on the night of there was an issue with the GHL microphone. My mom made a speech and my husband sang a song with the mariachi band and the mic kept dropping in and out, which was pretty distracting/took away from the speech/song. The DJ approached us, apologizing profusely, and let us know the venue had not let him use his own mic. After the issue the DJ replaced the mic with his own and everything was fine the rest of the night. But no one from GHL approached us about it or ever apologized for the issue. Definitely recommend using the DJs equipment instead of GHL.

Hosted a Hair Education event here in March!! Staff was great! Venue was clean and beautiful!! Very helpful - great attitudes. Will use this space again for my next big event!

We selected Greenhouse Loft for our wedding on 9/8/18, and it was the absolute best decision we could have made! GHL is the only space that we looked at when we were searching for a venue, and we immediately decided to book after the initial walkthrough. The space is modern, urban, open and airy. The glass walls surrounding the venue allow in tons of natural light, and look out directly into the beautiful courtyard that we used for our cocktail hour. This venue is also Platinum LEED Certified, and we so appreciated their commitment to sustainability, both in how they operate (composting, recycling, etc.) and the vendors they recommended.The entire team we worked with was incredibly accommodating. We have odd work schedules, so they allowed our final walkthrough to be done early. All chairs and tables were included, and they also provided easels for our signage at no additional cost. We were able to drop off our stuff prior to the wedding a day early, which was incredibly helpful! Rain was in the forecast for our big day, and they were great about putting together a full Plan B (which we fortunately did not need, but appreciated that it was in place)!When booking, definitely add on the candle package...the candles provided an incredible glow in the room that added to the beauty of the space. We received so many compliments from our guests about how amazing the space is and how perfect it was for the entire wedding. The team worked seamlessly with all of our vendors, and if there were any issues, we and our guests had no idea!Were so happy we chose this venue, and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a great venue in the city!
