I have been with AT&T for many years. Customer service is always stellar. I called today as a new customer with Highpoint and was greeted with a dry person on the other side of the phone. I was very taken back that this is my only choice that’s services Chicago. I am use to having 1000 MPBS this company only offers 850 MPBS. Hopefully, things will improve. Stay tune.

Our building switched to a bulk internet program utilizing HiPoint and it’s been amazing. (Full disclosure I am a member of the HOA). The speed and stability is consistent. It’s very fast and I’m receiving 200-250 mbps. I am using a mesh router (eero) which helps maximize the speed and you may get different results with a different router. The overall value to residents is phenomenal compared to other national providers.HiPoint also reconfigured and cleaned up the existing main wiring in our building. RCN and Comcast created an absolute mess and took zero accountability for it.The one time my service went down, I contacted their customer service team and they were able to resolve the issue in a matter of minutes. It was an issue with my router which they corrected.

We have had help from Mahesh multiple times over a series of 6 months and every time he was exceptional! Our personal wireless router was having troubles and like most people we weren’t looking forward to having to call for technical help. HiPoint sold the building I live in internet. I previously had only 17mbps. They promised 1,000. Maybe thats a theoretical speed. If I stream video, it scales down to less than VHS quality half of the time. I use their router, all of their own equipment. I previously maintained full HD with the company that had 17mbps. Their thousand mbps always downscales to less than that.I had two video meetings drop off this week due to lack of bandwidth. Not cool when so many of us work from home.

We heard unfortunate news from Xfinity about service coverage in my new apartment building but with HiPoint being the contracted service provider we had such an easy time with set up and activation. Literally had everything done so fast, especially by having our own WiFi router. 10/10 service!

A local internet service provider in Chicago. Ive never heard of them before but the building I moved into has their service. Everything was pre-wired so all I had to do was call them and activate service. They allow you to use your own Wifi routers which lets me use the router I had already.

HiPOINT Technology Services Inc. has great customer service and the speeds have always been good where I lived. When it came time to move, they walked me through the process and got me set up with an appointment real quick. Neil Sigua turned up to setup HiPOINT Technology Services Inc. in my new apartment. He came in early and was very professional. He made quick work of the installation and was in and out of the apartment in half an hour! Nonetheless he was a pleasure to talk to and super helpful!

Prolly the nicest internet connection ive ever used!I have a 500Mbps connection from them and its very dependable. Ive never faced lag while playing Call of duty and my game updates are super fast on my playstation. Very happy with their service, account activation was very easy and their staff is very responsive. Never took more than a minute to reach them on their customer service line .

I lost my internet connection at 2am and started to panick cause I had work to complete. I gave them a call and withing seconds of me reaching the support line, I reached one of their support staff. I was really frustrated and annoyed but their staff calmed me down, showed that the issue was with my old Wifi router, gave suggestions on which one to get and told me I could connect the internet directly from the wall to my laptop vai the internet cable! I did not know that was an option. Great service! I just ordered a new router today from Amazon.

Im a heavy internet user and high speed internet is something I depend on for my work and play. The kind of speeds Hipoint is offering is just blowing my mind! 700Mbps download and Upload on Wi-Fi!As someone who was using a super slow 20 Mbps connection with a 10Mbps upload speed, this is next generation. The fiber connectivity is extremely dependable. Customer support is great as well. All I had to do was give them a call, setup and account and boom! Im online. They let you use your own router and service response is quick. Highly recommended!

Been using their service for over 2 years and could not be happier. 10 days ago I was having a connection problem. HiPOINT Technology Services Inc. outage map didnt show any problems. Emailed a tech - they emailed me right back, my house should be online. I was out of town but tech supported my wife through some troubleshooting. Nada. Get home and call the tech who is able to help me diagnose that the problem is my eero router which conked out. Who would have guessed? Pleasant, helpful service, that did not talk down to me.

I have to say that “I have been very, very happy”with my internet service from Hi Point Technology Internet Services!! Recently, I spoke with RAOUL who assisted me in getting into my account and resetting my password. He was kind, professional and respectful. Most of all, he acted like I wasn’t bothering him and made me feel like “He wanted to assist me.!! I refuse to choose any other internet company because of the way RAOUL treated me kindly & respectfully!!! I moved to IL from Australia, where Internet latency, slow speeds and metering still rule the day. Now that Im with HiPOINT Technology Services Inc., there are times when I actually think well thats not right because a photo uploaded tooo quickly, or a web page filled with heavy images loaded tooo quickly, or my Google search results snapped into place before I was even done typing the search. Its like - well maybe Im not connected and these are all in cache - or this cant possible be this fast. But no...thats not it. Its my awesome HiPOINT Technology Services Inc.

Absolutely useless. When your internet doesnt go out once a month for no apparent reason, their website goes dark and no one responds to your email for weeks. STAY AWAY! Pay more for a larger company because this is not worth the hassle. Ive had their service for 2 years now and cannot wait to move and never have to deal with them.

STAY AWAY. Garbage service that over-promises and under-delivers. We are supposed to have 100/100 and the speeds vary throughout the day from as low as 10 to as high as 92 on download while staying consistent on upload. Whenever they do maintenance the service will go down and run sluggish for at least the entire day. Customer service? Not here! Enjoy talking to someone who cant even answer basic questions.If you choose them after reading all these negative reviews, you do so knowing youre going to enjoy walking to starbucks to send that important work email because your expensive internet doesnt work.

This is a great internet provider IF you are looking to improve yourself by learning qualities like patience. Your internet will never work, but dont worry - you will become a tolerant and patient person since you will get used to tolerating their horrible service. If you need to use the internet for any important reason - make sure you can create a hotspot from your cellphone.I first complained in Nov of 2017 - since then the guy has come 3 times to try and fix it. It is now Feb of 2018 and it still doesnt work. My building decided to make HiPoint the internet provider for the entire building - therefore, I have decided to go off the grid after posting this message. The only reason they get 1 star is I am unable to give them 0.

We fired this company and have never been better off!How is Hi Point even in business? Probably because of buildings who were like us with legacy contracts that they have not yet had the opportunity to change. Our contract with HiPoint expired this year (thank god) After seeing what else is out there we are never looking back.Go with WEBPASS you will never regret it. Faster service, better quality and customer service, no hidden fees (HiPoint is laden with them) and savings!

Our condo board decided years ago to partner with High Point, and since weve had repeated outages. Even though we pay for High Point with our condo dues, many in my building have decided to pay an additional fee to Comcast (of all companies) for consistent service. I feel like this company is scamming people--our internet regularly goes out for days at a time and they only schedule service visits during regular business hours, which means I have to take off work for them to fix the service I am already paying for. Please, dont use this company. Seriously, the worst internet service Ive ever had (and Ive had them all!)

Problems with this company since day 1, with my internet not working for weeks at a time. Expensive, slow internet, poor customer service. You will be disappointed if your association decides to work with HiPoint. 4MB speeds when you were lucky, now we have 80MB with Comcast for nearly the same price.

I would give zero stars if I could! I dont know how they are still in business. They have the WORST internet that always has problems -- either it is slow or theres an outage. Ive had to use them for the past 3 years as my internet provider bc my condo has a contract with them. I need the internet for work and my internet connection is so unstable and inconsistent. Ive lost work that Ive spent so much time on due to this instability! Do NOT use them. I had no problem with internet when I was using a different company, before we were forced to go with HiPoint.

I’ve been four days without internet connection. Called them, they told me to unplug my router for 2-3 min but I had tried that before calling. Then, they told me they will call back once they have figured out the problem. I doubt I’ll hear back from them. If you can avoid this company then do so. I’m stuck with them for now because my building has a contract with them. They have frequent outages but this is the first time its been more than one day. I don’t recommend this company.

I tried to be a cheerleader for this company but things have gone from mediocre, to bad, to down right stupid terrible.The service is spotty and shotty and the excuses are stupid. One of our partners lost electricity... well youre a tech company for gods sake...dont you have generators? hell, our building does.The best thing I can say is that our association will be changing companies and weve learned our lesson.If youre looking for some new excuses for crap service then HiPoint is the solution for you. My experience with this internet provider has been terrible. I consistently get download speeds of 6-9 Mbps when Ive been paying for 20Mbps. They have sent technicians out and the speed issues are only temporarily resolved. I have had this problem with them for over two years. I do not feel I can trust this company to deliver the product I am paying for. I an switching to another provider.

This company has pretty good personal service but I strongly suspect they are throttling our internet. The service is often out (maybe once every two months) but worse than that, the average download speed is 3Mbps, when I pay for 12Mbps (which is already pathetically low in 2016). Upload a third of that. AND OF COURSE every time I call to complain they jiggle the tubes, blame the building and lo-and-behold I have 12Mbps... ...for a few days until I stop paying attention. I do believe you should get what you pay for, but Im getting a third of what Im promised. If my building condo board didnt get cheap and sign a contract, Id gladly throw more money at RCN, or even (gulp) Comcast.

One of the worst providers ever. I moved to a new apartment complex and sadly they use this specific company. The internet is non existent. Every 15 min I have to reset my modem just to have some wifi. I called countless times their tech support and I get the same answer for two weeks we are working on it, your building has some issues, we ll give you a call when it is fixed guess what they never called me back. I had enough with their service and if I could fire them I would. I warn everybody to stay away and I think to break my lease just for this reason. I would never admit that there would be worse companies than comcast or att but they proved be wrong. good riddance
