Its boggles my mind that this company remains in business. Their internet speeds are atrocious, their customer service is questionable, and despite speeds that cant compare to their competitors, they charge more! I would never ever ever choose AWB, but Im forced to because thats the provider for the building I live in, but honestly, the internet is so bad, I might move. Frankly, Im annoyed I have to give them one star, because they dont deserve any.

Completely unresponsive and unhelpful. Exorbitant rates ($225/mo for 300Mbps when San Francisco ISPs do the same for $50/mo?). How are they still operating? Because they sign exclusive ISP contracts with high-rises. I have no choice but to use them.A classic example of monopoly rents. Someone needs to bust these guys, and fast.

I love these guys.First I get amazing speed up and down (20-30M).The service has been reliable and if its down, for whatever reason,they fix it ASAP.Considering the cost and the service you get, to me its a no brainerto subscribe.

Aha thought these complaints were a joke... my internets been out for 6 hours since 6pm.... no one to contact. I can live with the scammed slow speeds, but come on - no internet? Is that too much to ask ... when im PAYING FOR IT??? Rather have Comcast scam me for more money than AWB scam me with no internet. Were NOT living in a 3rd world country AWB..

The worst company ever. Internet is simply off entirely during evening hours each day and they do not fix it. My stupid landlord company does not let any other normal internet providers in the building. I just hate AWB.

1. They lie about their speed. I purchased the 500 MB/s package but the ethernet is usually below 100 MB/s.2. Their service is more inconsistent than Xfinity. The internet goes off every hour which means you can never watch a video peacefully. And you can never play a game online because you will disconnect almost every game.3. Their technical support is technically challenged. The person on the phone clears understand nothing about hardware. It may be more economical to program a robot to say:”have you tried to turn the router on and off again?”.4. I had no choice because my apartment has an exclusive deal. If you can, stay away at all cost.

Terrible customer service. Management is distrustful, flippant, and rude. There is no online account service so customers cannot make changes to their account or submit payments without calling them. AWB does not send customers any payment reminders or account statements via email or paper mail.I would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND them to anyone. Unfortunately my building in Hyde Park is contracted with them (and only them), but when I move, I will not be staying with them.

Ive never had a problem with AWB as a matter of fact this is my second time using their service. I currently get 25 mbps and it has worked fine so far. I love the pricing and the customer service is good. There are a lot of bad reviews and Im assessing that customers dont know how much MBs to get based on the number of wireless services that they use in their home.

This is a horrible service. The hours are inconvenient when issues occur and the coverage is so bad. I have a wireless router in a one bedroom apt, the service barely covers in my bedroom. The only reason I havent switched is because I owe money to comcast I cant wait to pay and get rid of this horrible service. I never leave bad reviews but something needs to be done about this service provider.

Worst internet and customer support ever! Everytime I call they tell me someone will get back to me within 5 min or so. Usually no one ever calls back and the internet never works. I have so many issues with them. Will be changing providers very soon.

I have service with this company through my condo building. AWB markets having the best pricing, but they charge $80 per month for $80 mb/s download speed, which is the most we can get. RCN charges half the price for triple the speed, and $50 for 500 mb/s. There is no way anybody would sign contracts for this level of service at these price points unless receiving a kickback. The installers are polite, though.

Dont even want to give 1 star. Struggle to understand how this is a real company. They say they provide 5 mbps (which is already borderline poverty from a speed perspective) but I ran a speed test showing 0.6 mbps. Keep in mind this is a brand new, very high tech router that I purchased mysel. They refuse to upgrade the service as well. I thought Comcast was bad but at least their internet works. Company refuses to address the issue and am blocked out because the landlord has the contract.

Horrible customer service! The phone representatives are extremely nonchalant, rude and unhelpful. I think it’s so inconvenient that the payment/accounting department is only open from 9a-5p. Good luck trying to handle any business if you also work office hours. This company is a complete joke. If you have another option, please do not go with AWB!

Frequent issues and unhelpful employees. It seems like there is little to no internal communication at this company about the issues customers are experiencing or when other employees have spoken to a customer and what has been attempted to fix any issues. Each time I have ever called, I speak to a different employee who is not only unhelpful and does not seem to understand my questions, but who speaks in a condescending tone and is quick to pass me off to a different employee who does the same.Though the price for wifi only is inexpensive, the number of outages and low quality customer service is not worth the price.

Cannot begin to articulate the failures of this company. Our internet constantly goes out and we never get the speed we pay for every month. Customer service cant fix any problems they can only take messages and forward them so you have to cross your fingers and hope someone calls you back. If you miss the call you have to go through the entire charade again. Had 0 internet for 3 days and cant get anyone to call me back. Worst company ever.

This service is lacking in just about every meaningful way. Im not sure how they landed the deal to be the only internet in my building, but if they were BBQ grill company theyd make a a dumpster fire look like a solid alternative to their product .Speed test always coming in under what was promised. Service went down for almost an entire day. Its 2018 how does that happen without some type of terrorist attack? Ive had to stream shows on my phone because the 12 mbs I pay for constantly comes in under 2 mbs, especially on Sundays. Basically Ill catch up with Westworld when it comes outon Bluray.

Their service is very unreliable. I have the highest speed that they offer and I still do not get consistently fast internet service. My connection is always dropping and I have very slow download time. They customer service is not that good either. They do not compensate their customers for lost of service that is a result from them. And they just sorta throw their hands up about the internet problem and act like any other companys service would provide the same service. If my building did not have a contract with them and force all the residence to use them, I would not continue my service with them. I highly recommend that you do not use this company.

I use internet service provided by AWB because it is included in my apartment rent from MAC properties. The Internet was consistently good except it had broken three times in the past two years and I had to request repairs. The technicians who actually came to fix the problems were quite nice and proficient; the waiting for representatives to take care of my repair requests, however, were rather painful...

If you like really slow internet that costs a lot of money, this is the ISP for you. This is about double the cost of my prior internet with RCN for about half the speed. Its also extremely spotty and typically runs way slower than the quoted price Im paying for. I love everything about my apartment building except that they have an exclusive contract wit this horrible ISP. Considering moving somewhere that has internet better than 1995 dial up.

For as long as Ive had this internet service, it has given me nothing but problems. There have been several times where the internet connection will randomly go down, and upon trying to contact customer service, I am met with even more questions than answers and solutions. For as much as I pay in rent, Mac Properties can do so much better than this.

Speed: Always disconnecting for no reason. I can expect my internet to go off almost everyday once in a while from 6 to 11 pm, then you have to spend 5min just to restart the router and wait till everything is reconnected to internet. If it is your lucky day and the internet is not going off, you may still face extremely low speed at night, you cannot stream videos on youtube, netflix. I have to use my phones hotspot sometimes just to go online.Service: Terrible, extreme shortage of staff. All they have are people who answer the phones and all they do is telling you to restart the router or schedule an appointment for some time next week since they will never be available right away (I guess there are so many appointments booked due to the bad internet that they cannot handle it). Service people always come in during daytime when the internet is descent, and then they will conclude there is nothing wrong and just let you restart the router again.Conclusion: DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER if you use internet to stream videos after work at home. If your apartment has contract with this provider, then move to other apartments.Suggestion to the company: Hire more engineers and upgrade your hardware please.

Charged 10$ fee when cc expired. Called back same day to give new cc info. Quick to charge an extra fee but when service is out for days due to system difficulties at no credit is given. Also, when checkin upload/download speeds usually below what is advertised requiring a call for them to fix.

Very unreliable internet doesnt need to be fast to do simple web browsing or check your email, which I can never seen to do. I cant comment on the speeds as I cant even stay connected most the time. Worst company ever, cheap but the most unreliable service on the planet

Im so unhappy Im writing a review and IVE NEVER WROTE A REVIEW BEFORE.Im not sure what is worse, the customer service or the internet connection... but this is the WORST internet connection.Ive had to call 5 times a month since Ive moved in for them to reboot this router and have it work again... and its back to not working. Ive never done a Google review before, but I feel like this service deserves it.Ever since we had AWB, internet has been a problem. We formerly had Comcast, but we had to switch because of Mac Apartments (I blame them, too, for whatever kickback theyre getting from AWB—theres no other explanation for this).Our internet goes out a few times a week for hours at a time. I pay for 15MBPS but normally get 2-3MBPS. We have had several dozen techs come out and they all seem competent enough themselves... they have REWIRED the unit, given us new modemS(!), reset the switches, etc. Nothing works. Mostly the internet constantly goes in and out.. on for 5 seconds... off for 5 seconds, etc. Its unspeakably infuriating, and I cant believe this company claims to provide real service.When you reach a tech by phone, you get the have you tried turning it off and on again? spiel. This level of horrible service cannot be solved by simply turning off the modem. There is something significantly and seriously wrong with their infrastructure. Internet 20 years ago was more reliable.I tried to get discounts, rebates, credit—something for all this horrible service, but to no avail.I am moving out of Mac Apartments, and I cannot say how excited I am to no longer have to use AWB. We were AWB customers for 12 months. Stay away if you can.

Terrible internet. First round of installation and I kept getting kicked off my internet when loading a YouTube video in 340p. I also wasnt even shown how to access the guest network that was supposedly installed . If you have multiple tabs open or loading at once, itll kick you off. Then I had them come switch out the router. It helped in the slightest, but I STILL keep getting kicked off. It just jumps on and off every 2 minutes. I cant Facetime or Skype, or watch any YouTube videos without interruption. I booked an appointment between 9-1pm to have my modem/router replaced *again* and no one has showed up yet (currently 1:30pm) or called to notify me about the delay. Cancelled my appointment and will be discontinuing service with them ASAP. To their credit, the on-the-phone employees were very nice, along with the in-person tech guy. I just dont think they really knew how to solve any of the technical issues at hand.
