We hired FloorMaxx to sand and restain our floors in our first home and we are so happy we did. I was firstly impressed that they are self owned and not a chain which made me feel better about the whole process. Ana was great from the beginning all the way to completion of the project. Her husband Greg was fantastic as well and you can tell he really knows what he is doing and wants your floors to turn out beautiful. They treat you like family and it shows in their work. Greg and his team were great. We had 4 estimates done and while Greg was not the cheapest option, he was the most knowledgeable and addressed aspects of the project that we had not considered and that no other companies mentioned. Greg provided clear pricing breakdowns in his estimate, which was appreciated. The floors looked amazing when we returned. The team did a great job giving really old beat up floors new life. I had very dark wooden floors in an already dark condo. I thought I had to live with it but FloorMaxx helped change them. They are so much lighter now and their finish is amazing.The team that came to do the work was so efficient and attentive. I would highly recommend those company.Had to revise my review because I have found many imperfections on the finish. There are many drips in the kitchen and the treatment has vanished on certain areas.

My experience with Greg and Ana was great! Both are very informed and easy to work with. The team was able to manage match the new HW floors in my bedroom perfectly to the ones that were already in my unit. The communication was great from day 1 and they are super informed with different regulations that are required by the condo buildings in downtown which was very helpful!

Floor Maxx did an excellent job in dealing with the changing demands of our building mgt., and then following up with the careful installation of flooring in our bedrooms. This required difficult management of areas along door thresholds next to our closets including adjustments in the height of our wooden doors. Workers were professional and consulted with us through out the project. From start to finish. An A+ job.

I absolutely love my floors! Greg and his crew did a great job and were very easy to work with. He helped me pick out the stain color, tested it on my floors beforehand, and went into detail about the process. Our trim was freshly painted and they were very careful to keep the stain off the trim, which I greatly appreciated. We got a few quotes but ultimately chose to move forward with FloorMaxx and I am very happy we did our floors look amazing!

I am a first-time homeowner, and I had my hardwood floors refinished by Floormaxx. They called me less than an hour later, and he was at my house the next day. Greg showed up looking very professional, wearing a polo with his company logo. He gave me a folder with a pen, note pad, and some leaflets on floor care and sales he was offering. I think that was a lovely touch. Greg knew his craft. I could tell that he didnt just own the company he gets on his hands and knees and works side by side with his team. Greg was at my house for about 2 hours and walked me through what he would do. He took some measurements and helped me measure the full square footage of my house, where there werent hardwood floors. He showed me problem areas that other flooring experts missed or had given me misinformation. He explained the different finishes and stains. He told the pros and cons of the oil base vs. water base and didnt leave until all my questions had been answered. He gave me a very reasonable quote. I was on a tight timeframe, and I asked if he could do it within the next week. He told me he would get back to me. Luckily he was able to fit me in that weekend. I saw the quote and asked if they could replace the baseboard trim. He was more than happy to add that to the quote. Sadly I could not do both floors due to some unforeseen repairs that were unavoidable. Since I was having the floors done before I moved in, I was concerned about one piece of furniture that may scratch or hurt the floor. Greg told me that if anything happened to the floor from moving, he would be back to take care of the floor, so it was perfect for when I entirely moved in. Luckily I didnt need him to do that. I communicated a lot with Ana, Gregs Wife. I was able to text her any time for any reason. That made my life so much easier to be able to text vs. call. I was asked to pick three stains with both Greg and Anas help. Once the floors had been sanded, they put the three stains down to see how they look in my room. I chose Jacobean, and I was thrilled with the result. I was working around the house, getting ready for the move while his team was working. Greg came by to check on the crew and make sure all was going great. He took some time to talk with me, and we had some outstanding conversations. When the job was all over, he left some of the products for any scratches. I was delighted with his work. Everything looked good. I was impressed and blown away with everything Flormaxx had to offer. Greg takes pride in his work, and you can see his passion for flooring. I would highly recommend Greg, Ana, and Flormaxx for your flooring needs. I will have them back for my second floor for sure!

Greg was awesome! I did a review on home advisor but the work was done so well I had to write a review here. I have seen a lot of floor jobs and NOTHING compares to what I have seen. VERY professional, patient, knowledgable, flexible, and most importantly does his job perfectly! Very easy to reach and makes you feel like your important. Leaves barely any mess. Great clean up! I would love to put up photos but I dont know how. Shown to people who have been there and done that and they are asking for the number right away. People stop your search and stick it with this company!

Greg and Ana helped me out so much! I had a very tight timeline to work with and they were able to get me and help me redo the floors before all the movers showed up. I wanted to refinish the floors, but Greg showed me how that was risky given the age of the floor and recommended a few options to consider. I was able to find a luxury vinyl flooring option that turned out so much better than refinishing (this is because I wanted a true gray floor). Their team was very professional and did the work in just a couple of days (including under the appliances)! I would totally recommend them again! It was about $4.00 a sq ft for around 900 sq feet.
