What is one of the worst things that can happen to a bride-to-be 6 weeks before her wedding date? Umm…the loss of her phone it pretty much up there. Well that what happened to me. My Samsung galaxy had an untimely accident with the floor of O’hare airport that left me scrambling for a resolution. You see simply replacing the phone wasnt an option because I had pertinent wedding planning information on the actual phone that wasnt backed up on my SIM card. I spent days getting varying opinions from different ‘professionals’. Most left me with the disheartening feeling that they didnt really care about my problem, they just wanted to figure out how it could benefit them the most, such it the world today I guess.On the evening of the second day, I came across Omar at Dr. Cell. After almost a two day experience with ‘shady characters’, Omar really was a breath of fresh air. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he has a warm and friendly disposition. We spoke about my phone but also an array of other things, he was just a genuine nice guy. Unlike most others, our conversation didn’t leave me with the impression that he was just trying to get the most money out of me. He diagnosed the problem and I was given a loner phone for the few days it would take for me genuine parts to be ordered and delivered (be cautious of those that offer to do the job on the spot in 30 minutes, they may be using refurbished parts). I was notified when my parts came in and the next day my phone was fixed and I breathed a huge sigh of relief. Wedding planning is stressful enough, trying to maneuver through it without a device that holds 80 % of your information, is beyond stressful.I will recommend Omar and Manny at Dr. Cell to anyone, I actually already sent a friend there to buy a new phone for an international trip. They are professional, friendly, honest and efficient. For me they were practically wedding-savers :0) Thank you!!!
