We are very happy with all of the computer and digital work we have in completed by the staff of Comset computers. Thomas really knows what he is doing! We have used them for firewall backup, updating and integrating our current computer systems, and retrieval of a hard drive that went bad. It is good to note, that we had a 98% success in retrieval of the data on the hard drive. I give Comset computer five stars.

Our most important computer in the office with shared files failed on us and Thomas came out as soon as we called and saved 99% of our files, even though we would have been lucky to save 10%. Great response time and knew exactly what had to be done to fix the problem. Had the problem fixed and everything back to normal within the week. Took my kids computer to get fixed. Thought it was a virus but turns out the hard drive was done. They were not even going to charge me for assessing the computer, but I would not let them do that. I told the guy to charge me. He took time to open the computer and assess it. I ended up buying a small, touch-screen laptop from them as a replacement at a good price. Good people at this shop!

I used to work for the owner of this computer repair shop. All I will say is your data is safe with him and if there’s a job to do he’ll try to come up with the cheapest and simplest way to fix it. I definitely trust to buy used hardware from them because the replacement/return policy is kind of unmatched in the area. Don’t take my word for it though. & hi to everyone in portage park :)

Recently my old Acer desktop computer gave out on me. I took the PC to Next It so that the can do a data extraction from it including my music, pictures and documents. Took it in on a Saturday and was ready by Monday. Price was a little high at $135 but the service was A+. I would recommend this spot for sure.

Thomas is a great guy and his staff can fix just about any computer issue you might have. He does just about everything so he is usually my first call if I have questions about a computer issue, new computer, wiring in my business or my house. He even sets up CCTV systems. Comset will keep your computer happy and healthy.

Just needed the fan replaced on my laptop. They said theyd look at it and call me back later that day. They didnt. Called them the next day and they hadnt even looked at it yet, but would right away and call me right back. They didnt. Called the next day. Said they ordered the part and it would take three days(!) and would call. They didnt. After three days I had to call yet again. They said it would definitely be ready in two more days and would call me. They didnt. Called again today and its still not ready. So, its now been a week and they still havent even touched it. An entire week (and counting) just to replace a fan. Plus theyre going to charge me 40 bucks for labor. Absolutely horrible.Update: Its been two weeks now and they still havent replaced the fan. So Im giving up. Now they cant even tell me when they can put it back together for me to come and pick it up. Unbelievable.

Awesome experience at Comset. My computer would not start up and I took it in to be looked at. They opened it up, quickly discovered the problem (bad RAM stick), and fixed it. They didnt even charge me! Ill definitely be going back if anything ever goes wrong again.
