I found this place on Google. The gentleman who greeted me at the door was pleasant and knowledgeable. I cannot comment on my actual repair yet, as I left my laptop there only a day ago (cooling fan stopped working), but I left this establishment with a good feeling that my laptop was left in good feeling, a rarity these days.I want to now add that my computer was repaired within 2 days, and the price of the repair was lower than the estimated cost provided to me when I dropped my computer off. Again, service was excellent.

I tried to take my laptop to a certified apple repair center and they quoted me $150 just to diagnose my laptops issue. (It wouldnt charge). And if it was the battery it would be $600+ due to potential water damage. Rob diagnosed my laptops issue for free and gave me a reasonable quote to replace the battery. This man is honest, knowledgeable and the turnaround was less then a week. Thank you Rob!

This review is long overdue. Rob is awesome. I had torn my PC apart and rebuilt it so many times, not able to figure out whats up. He diagnosed it quickly and even swapped around my fans for free (for better airflow). He was beyond helpful and even pulled a power supply cable up, because I briefly mentioned that might upgrade my graphics card. (I later did and it worked like a charm). Excellent place. Im a computer engineer myself, and Id repair my own machine but I dont have the equipment and/or the electronics skills to fix stuff on my own. Came in with a laptop with a malfunctioning fan and expected a costly motherboard replacement, but Rob was able to fix it with a replacement fan and fan header reinforcement. Very fair pricing.

I called three times before when he had a different business name. When I saw it was changed, I thought maybe there was a transitional phase. Called today, no answer. Same answer machine though! What a joke... I really wanted this to be a good place to take my laptop and PC.

Highly recommend - I had a virus on my computer, and they fixed it in a day. Ended up being much cheaper than Best Buys Geek Squad. Also, the location is at a house; however, it is completely converted into an office front with cool neon lights and a waterfall, so youre not just walking into someones living room. They obviously invest in themselves and take their business seriously, which I think is great. Thanks again!

Great service all around for a fair price! Bram ordered a replacement for my burnt out video card and cleaned out my whole tower in no time. His prices are so reasonable. Rob keeps in constant contact with you about your computer when you drop it off to him and he is flexible. He maintained all the files on our computer, he even fixed a minor issues another high priced guy I went to neglected to do with no problem and no additional cost, he really cares for his customers! Hes great,I texted Rob, the owner and I believe, sole proprietor, on Saturday while I was in Wisconsin to tell him the fan in my laptop was not functioning - the machine was overheating. I needed it repaired in two days as I was leaving the following Wednesday on another trip, for which I really needed my computer. I saw him 10AM Monday morning, He ordered a new HP replacement fan from Amazon, Same Day delivery, and had it installed 24 hours later - Tuesday at noon done!, Everything inside was cleaned, blown out, and checked out.I regularly read reviews on Yelp and am appalled by the stories people write regarding bad service, inordinately long delays, and outright incompetence.MyCrazyMachine is in a league of their own. Well, I have to agree with everyone else here - Robs a humble man, with a cool office inside this house. He repaired my HDD perfectly well for $400 - an incredibly reasonable price - and another $75 for external HD. Much thanks for coming through, you can rely on him.

I took my laptop in when the hard drive failed. I was worried Id lose all my data. Rob was able to extract my data from my hard drive and rather than put a new hard drive into my old laptop he gave me a used laptop that was faster and better than mine. The total price was $175. It worked out for me and ended up saving me money because I had planned to buy a new laptop, but now I dont have to. I will be buying an external hard drive to back up. Lesson learned, but it all worked out in the end.Thanks Rob! :)

I will admit that I was initially a bit leery of all the glowing reviews on here for MCM. I had that feeling of If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. However, let me tell you that every five-star review on here is well deserved and right on the money. Rob and MCM do top notch work, are honest, and very reasonable.My PC was running very slow for a bit and then stopped booting up altogether. Rob diagnosed the problem, quickly fixed my PC, and had it delivered to my house instead of having me pick it up when the repair took a couple hours longer than he originally estimated.If youre having computer problems, definitely give MCM a call or email.
