Thanks You Captain Ron and Kevin for making this experience beautiful for me and my family. We enjoyed the sights and the amazing weather that went rainy to sunny in minutes. I also wanted to mention Corey who is one of the dock’s managers. My family included 2 seniors who could barely walk the long distance from the parking garage. This was a big issue for us. It was so far and I know they could do better to accommodate for handicap. It was a Thursday at noon with no one to assist us when we arrived. However Corey made sure that we had a cart available for then when we returned from our boat ride. Other than that Knot My Boat Charters was a wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic experience on Lake Michigan with Knot My Boat Charters! We went out on a Friday evening for four hours, and enjoyed every minute of it. The captain and deck hand were friendly, responsive and accommodating to our group of 12--they kept the speed where we wanted it and knew the best places to cruise to see the sunset and the city lights. The boat was clean; there was plenty of seating; and had a bluetooth speaker, a cooler with ice, and a bathroom. There was parking available at the harbor and there was good communication from the staff about logistics. Overall, it was the perfect way to spend a summer evening in Chicago!

This was such a cool experience !!! We went out during the evening and got to see the city all lit up at night. It was a very easy booking process and everything was clearly laid out. The only complaint is that they did send you a list of captains to reach out to, and out of the whole list only 2 responded. And 1 out of the 2 never stopped responding after I asked a question, leaving us with only one captain to choose from. He ended up being just fine, but if he wouldn’t have been available we would have purchased a charter without the ability to hire a captain.

KMBC was great from start to finish. Reservations were easy and while everyones booking systems were erroring out from a busy season + fathers day weekend KMBC came through! We had an AMAZING night on the water celebrating my husbands birthday with a group of 12. Our captain James Konrad and crew were perfectly paired with our group. We had a blast. We chartered the 48 Sea Ray and the boat size was perfect. Hanging out on the bow as we cruised through the river was AMAZING and we caught the fireworks before cruising back to the harbor. The boat was a tad dirty BUT I know its a busy time and overall the boat was of great quality. Thanks guys! We will be back.

We went out on a Sunday 10-2 pm on their Luxe boat and it was a great experience. Working with Knot My Boat charters was a wonderful experience, specifically due to Captain Dennis P. and his deckhand Anna. It was a little choppy due to the weather but they found some beautiful views of Chicago in a couple harbors. My only criticism of the business was the front office who decided after we signed up that clients needed solicit all of the captains. This was not only an inconvenience for us, but the captains too. Still, great five-star experience and we’ll use Denis and Anna again if we book a charter.

Booked for a three hour charter for Friday 7/9. Constant communication from staff leading up to our rental date. I loved that they had a captains list for me to choose from rather than trying to find a captain on my own.Our captain David, which we picked from a list of about 10-12, was fantastic. He asked us where we wanted to go, was prompt, nice and a fun guy! I really recommend picking him - if you can.We rented one of the smaller sports charters for 8 people. The boat was really nice, clean, and had fantastic amenities such as Bluetooth, kitchenette a seating area down below - as well as a bathroom and such. Fuel was also included which is a huge plus.Overall I highly recommend using Knot my Boat charters. Very accessible staff and a great experience.

We booked a Knot My Boat charter for my 40th birthday. We were on one of the 50 foot premium fleets and David Sigler was our captain. He and his steward Alex did an amazing job taking care of us. There were 10 of us total. We had the best time! Can’t wait to rebook!

They waited until the day before the boat to email me about hiring a captain. Not only do I think that should be included with the boat, but also it should be mentioned when booking ahead of time. They definitely made sure to mention it being no refundable when booking, they should do the same with informing customers of hiring a captain for an extra $100-$150 an hr on top of already paying to be on the boat. Instead, they wait until the day before to try and spring up more charges. They are just a rip off, don’t even waste your time.

We had a good ride and our captain Ashur was great. The boat however was not the cleanest. The fridge did not work and it smelled so bad inside so we couldn’t even try to use it. The room downstairs had so much stuff inside that we couldn’t even put our things. The parking directions were not accurate as we would have been in the lot that closed at 11pm if we had not seen it on the meter before walking away. Thanks to Ashur we had a nice ride, good fireworks show and he was very helpful and apologetic about the condition of the boat.

We booked one of their smaller charters available for a Bachelorette party and the process was simple and easy. Their communication was professional, especially when government regulations were ever-changing from the time we booked until our charter date. Finding a captain was a breeze, and it was nice he accepted other forms of payments besides just cash (he took Venmo as well). We had Captain Sean - he was courteous and on time. We had a blast!

I worked with Knot My Boat Charters to schedule a Wednesday trip. After trying to dock twice, the captain decided to cancel the trip due to waves. He called me from the boat as he drove away from us. My 8 person party was left on the dock to walk back to our cars. Very embarrasing. We would have hoped to be notified sooner. To make matters worse - the refund policy doesnt allow a refund as the captain deemed it unsafe due to weather. After chasing the owners via emial and phone- Ive not heard back on a reschedule and have been told that the terms of the contract mean I am not qualified for a refund.

I booked this boat charter for something fun to do on a bachelorette party for 10 people and it was definitely the highlight of our trip! The weather wasn’t the best and it was still such a fun time. After a poor experience booking last year with a larger charter company, I wanted to give KMBC a try. I booked a boat for my friends bachelorette party & the process was seamless. AWESOME communication leading up to our day as well as day of and answered all my (many!) ?s. I’ve booked around 12+ boats over the last 2 summers and KMBC was by FAR the cleanest (so many are always trashed w/ gross batheooms!) and we had an amazing sound system! We such a great time that I booked a larger boat for a Labor Day weekend gathering too. Our captain John was great... wil stop for photos & will play personal photographer too 😄 Overall - GREAT experience! These charter companies in Chicago can be so sketchy & grimy (trust me!) but KMBC was anything but! Definitely my go to charter now & I’m already planning a summer 2021 alumni kick off through them as well.

Weve worked with them for 2 years now and they now have a fleet of 7 boats.
