Really fun time on the Odyssey! Rode for my cousins wedding and it was a really fun time. Food was great, the views were great seeing the skyline at night and enjoyed the time spent with good people.

We did the cruise for my birthday and it did NOT disappoint! Food was excellent, drinks were great and service was awesome! Killian was our waiter and went out of his way to make sure we got our drinks and had a good time. He took pictures for us, provided us with a dessert for my birthday and was always checking to see if there was anything he could do for us. We enjoyed the DJ and the fireworks show. Such a good time!

Lunch cruise on the Spirit of Chicago was a grest experience!! We tried pre-purchasing tickets to the dinner cruise, but they were sold out 3 days before our date. The menu was good. (salmon, chicken, broccoli, salad, mac & cheese, bread, desserts) Unlimited unsweetened tea, coffee, and water are available. You can purchase sodas and drinks from the bar. The music from the DJ was diverse. Ab all around great experience. Highly recommended!

Kyle is an amazing person, he knows so much about his beautiful city. His passion for architectural history is contagious. I left the cruise with an eye for the buildings in other cities. Im so thankful he was our guide. It was a truly epic trip down the river.

I took my tour with spirit cruise in Navy Pier and my experience was amazing, it’s clean, food delicious, desserts ok, the crew’s too kind. I bought my tickets on Groupon, because is cheaper than page cruise. Therefore it was amazing experience for birthdays, anniversary or special occasion.

My first City Cruise experience with my son for my birthday, commute was great despite going during Lollapalooza,food was great, music was a good mix and our server was phenomenal. Really enjoy myself.

Went here for my birthday and it was nice. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and the music was overall great. I docked a star because the parking was so far away, a spider decided to join us for dinner, the tables were NOT socially distanced and my drink (Sprite) tasted extremely weird, even after another one was brought to the table, until I just ordered something else completely. They also didnt do anything special even though they ask if someone is celebrating anything and on our receipt it says I was celebrating my birthday. Overall a nice experience though. Didnt hurt that I was in great company.

The boat ride was ok. The food was not worth the money. I had an expensive breakfast. The breakfast food was ok; however, the chicken was cooked too hard and that fish was absolutely horrible…broccoli tasted like they just ran hot water over it. I only received one glass of water. I ordered a sparkling Strawberry drink. I server never showed with my drink. I had to stop a crew member and asked about my sparkling water. I guess they didn’t bring anymore water because they want you to visit the bar. I am not a drinker…I just wanted plain water.I had cruise on this vessel before 2016. It was a great experience. I guess with Covid everything changed. I am disappointed because this was a birthday treat to myself. It will be awhile before I try it again.

CHICAGO Seadog/Speedboat Tour is so much fun and family friendly. All the staff there were polite, attentive and entertaining! I enjoyed every minute on the boat and the speaker was informative and engaging! I recommend it to everyone. Happy sailing!

Do it. City tourWe have visited chicago several times a year for as long as I can remember, but never took the boat ride.I was impressed. My family, as well.Tons of information packed into this tour. Lots of stuff I didnt know or even notice. Well worth the money. Bring a blanket. Gets chilly.Sit twords the front, the rear youll get a little wet.But seriously, do it. Its like 90min long... Bring a beer. Relax for once in your life.Our tour guide was a young lady, I cant remember her name for the life of me ...it started with the letter K... Kaylee...k... something...but she was extremely sweet. She is from Indiana lol, so thats why.

Not ideal for a romantic night. We arrived at the dock where we were able to board 30 minutes early. Upon boarding our photo was taken and could later be purchased for $40. The menu was limited to one appetizer choice and a handful of entree choices. Food was decent but not filling. After dinner the DJ played mostly hip hop club music (lil John, Nelly) and then one slow song at the very end. We were hoping to share a romantic evening with some dancing but unfortunately this is not the case. I would say this is more ideal for a group of young adults looking for a club scene.

Great Cruise , great service , delicious food , and the best views of the cityWe had a large group visit the city for the first time and always wanted to take them on the Odessey because its the biggest boat in the pier and new perspective of seeing the city from the lakeLunch was well paced , we finished everything except the dessert before we even left the dock food itself was delicious with the beef short rib soo tender it could be cut effortlessly with a forkThe service was excellent the waiter checked in on us often, checked in on use even when we were on the top deck. Seperated our checks with our correct order and was able to take my special request for a souvenir glass and have it wrapped on the table by the time we were ready to leave

The best cruise to celebrate any kind of special Day, I was celebrating my 44th birthday. just amazing firework dinner😀 The food tastes delicious the service was fantastic. Awesome crew, Im glad I choose this to celebrate my birthday. If this is your first time you gonna love it.. the best way to see the city of Chicago at night even if youre not celebrating anything, you coming from out of town I encourage you to do this Cruise... 💯💯

Our lunch cruise on the Spirit of Chicago was such a disappointment! The food was very mediocre. Our waiter was inattentive. Guests were assigned to dining tables that were crowded together even though some tables were empty.There was absolutely no attention to keeping people safe while COVID is still an issue. For example, guests could have been asked to wear masks while going through the buffet line. Guests could have been asked to socially distance in line. Staff could have been there to dish out helpings. Instead, everyone was crowded together, breathing down each other necks, and onto the food, with everyone touching the same serving utensils.Some useful information over the PA system about what we were seeing would have been an added benefit for the cruise, but there was none.Finally, It would have been helpful if directions to the ship on our reservation sheet had included that the boarding location was on the south side of Navy Pier, at the far east end. Googling 600 E. Grand takes you to the north side of the pier.I had often see these large vessels at their docks and imagined that a cruise aboard them would be a luxury experience. That was not so! The $81/person we paid for this lunch cruise was not worth it.

Keri and the staff were wonderful to work with on helping me plan my 115+ people event for my company and the undecisive boss I had. LOL. I took over and made all the decisions. They even helped me squeeze a few more passengers last minute. The food was of good quality too. The on board staff helped me with everything I needed and giving me tons of water as I requested to stay straight because of the heavy drinkers passing drinks and shots to me. The DJ was easy to plan my music with for the whole event. It was like being in TAO nightclub but on the lake. A good DJ is really important to get the party going. FIREWORKS were a bonus finale to the night. I highly recommend THE ODYSSEY for your events. Part of my job is also being an Event Coordinator and it is key to be able to work with other coordinators in many venues especially with a pandemic, budget, headcount and indecisive bosses with concerns around. Having the other professionals work together with you helps. HUGS KERI and staff.

It was a fun evening took the Wednesday fireworks dinner cruise. It was quite crowded for weekday. But maybe due to fireworks day. I like how all the servers were friendly and went out of there way to help you. I really wanted to get a family photo but it didnt turn out to be good enough to spend $30. They have buffet, decent for dinner. With some dessert too which I am not so fan of. They have diaper changing table in the restrooms. Drinks are served as per your order. Fireworks on Wednesday starts at 9.30 and it was so beautiful. My sweet birthday gift. I could take my both kids one almost one and another almost 3. Deck is a bit small so get your place reserved on time to enjoy the fireworks.

This was an incredible experience!!! I really enjoyed it.It is NOT necessary to pay the extra amount for window seats though. You get a great view from any table.Highly Recommend!!!

Horrible experience! We got there before boarding and asked one of the staff members if that is the cruise we are supposed to be on - she wouldnt even acknowledge us. When she finally decided to respond, she said this is not the cruise and directed us somewhere else. We walked down to see if there is another one that we were supposed to be on and it turns out that we were supposed to be on the first one. By the time we walked back, the boat was gone so we missed it! We were supposed to go on the cruise for the Blue Angels show and a birthday celebration. Unprofessional staff!

Lovely boat ride this one is and pretty informative too. The staff is so cool. They keep up the tempo of the ride. The speed boat takes you around the periphery of Lake Michigan while the guide in the boat gives you great trivia about the buildings dotting the Chicago skyline. In between they play great songs and overall the ride is worth it.Should Def do this when visiting Navy Piere. Loved it and recommend it highly 👍

Had the best time ever. Entertained by Andrew, who was fantastic,! He knew so much! Way beyond expectations! Still thinking about all I learned on the river cruise. Staff at ticket counter was great too. Very patient since I had so many questions. In fact all the staff was great!

An enjoyable experience to have a drink , music and great Chicago skyline views. Especially during sunset. Big yacht so you can find a spot to take beautiful pictures. Staff was friendly and polite. Of you enjoy scenic rides, you have to do it.

Their tours are really fun and informative. I like that you get a tour of the lake front, a high speed jet boat ride, and a river for all in one. Ive done this tour all 3 times that Ive been to Chicago. Theres always new information every time I go.

Beware!!!!Arrived on time at ticket window. To exchange my voucher for tickets. I Was then sent to where the boat was docked. There were approximately 15 other people there with tickets. The crew member there would not let us on !!! (He said we were to late , i looked at my watch it was exactly 5p) We proceeded to stand on the dock for 15 min while the boat was still docked while the crew members looked down on us. Such bad customer service and so disappointing!!! I booked this months in advance to only be turned away and treated this way. I can not reschedule as I live out of state and they do not issue refunds to the almost $300 I paid for this. (I will be fighting to get my money back ) I do NOT recommend this company as they do not care about their customers.

This was an excellent experience for my family and friends! One of our party was in a wheelchair and she had no problem. Other people in our party needed special gluten free food and they also were accommodated. The food was excellent, the views were excellent. Im using the word excellent a lot but its deserved.

We showed up to board the boat today and were informed the tour was cancelled. I was never notified of this. About 2 weeks earlier they did notify me that our time slot was cancelled, but when I called it was easy to book a different time that day. However we were not able to go at all...no apology and I had to ask for my money back. Very disappointed. We came from Michigan for the day and we were looking forward to sharing a first Chicago experience with our son....I do not recommend!

I loved this tour! I took my twin out as a surprise. It was fast but not bumpy and uncomfortable. The lake was perfect and the view incredible! Then we cruised down the river and learned about the history of Chicago and the architecture. Id highly recommend the Seadog! Its worth every penny.

A lovely day for to go for cruise. Services is great and the cruise oversees the river. There are 2 marry couples and people are dancing within the cruise. The buffet is great with lots of food and free flow drinks. Total is about 2 hours and i would like to do that again with my family.

Wonderful! I took my boyfriend and I out on their Cocktail Cruise around Lake Michigan. It was beyond expectations. The views were spectacular, they had multiple bars on board and fun bar games. The dedicated table service along with the all-you-can-eat buffet really helped make it a cruise to remember. I will be booking another trip soon!!!

We took this tour yesterday and it was awesome. Tila was very knowledgeable. The tour was very educational on some history of Chicago and how some of the structures function and were constructed. We loved it A+

Even on an overcast day, the weather never dampens the experience on the boat! Whether youre on the Odyssey, The Spirit of Chicago or The Mystic Blue and whether you are a Chicagoan or a tourist, a boat ride is a must do! Staff is incredible on all 3 boats!!!

This was an awesome experience. Theres nothing like being on a boat and enjoying company with the lake. The time of day was wonderful because you could see the sun setting just right on the city. To top it all off they had fireworks at the end of it, I would highly recommend this place as a must do for chicago.

First time on the Spirit. Food was actually good. D.J. was awesome. We have beautiful city. Really enjoyed myself, with my Sisters.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! Unfortunately it was a little chilly when we went BUT the views are fabulous!! Bought tickets there but check Groupon first. Saw a great deal after paying $200! Still worth it to see the smiles.

This was a very fun but extremely scary boat ride. I rode the Seadog Extreme and it lives up to its name. At times, I thought that I was going to die on it but I thought it was very thrilling. I wont recommend this ride to people who cant stand being scared. Also, the back of the boat is where you get wet the most. Finally, make sure you find a way to hold your belongings from flying while protecting it from getting wet. If you visit Navy Pier, I would recommend this attraction. And if you want a less extreme/wet experience, go on the regular Seadog.

Did the yellow boat Lakeshore Speedboat Cruise. Probably really good for people with kids, overpriced for what you get, and a little boring for adults only. The Captain Grant was awesome and friendly. This boat goes fast, but not excitingly fast. They play good music which makes it more fun. If you want excitement - probably go for the red boat. If you want info - probably go for the architectural tour. If all you want is to see the shoreline of Chicago from out in Lake Michigan - this is a good tour for you.

I HIGHLY recommend this boat tout to everyone.The boat is not too big so its not crazy and crowded which I really liked. Everyone was able to ask questions and the tour guide was super nice.I am definitely doing the tour again and again with friends and family. Do it at night, incredible views. Entertainment Cruises and all tours, cruises, and exciting trips associated with the company have been spectacular night in and night out whenever I have attended. I have been on multiple cruises and every single one offers a different service or purpose. The most recent Sea Dog Architectural tour I went on was incredible, informative, and extremely fun, and its also super easy to set up through their great sales and customer service department! Claire Kerwin was the sales woman who had helped me throughout my sign up process, and she made it so seamless and easy to set up while I was on the phone her. Definitely will be returning!

The Spirit of Chicago Dinner cruise was absolutely wonderful. It was my first one and we will definitely do it again.The music and dancing, they made my husbands birthday a wonderful time.

Excellent staff, spectacular views, very romantic. A great place to celebrate a special occasion. For the price, the food could have been better, but its all about the experience, not the dinner.

We loved Seadog speed boat! Its a 30 minute ride. The view was wonderful.

After having our cruise be canceled last year due to covid, my husband and I were finally able to use our tickets to celebrate our anniversary. The staff aboard the Spirit cruise were very pleasant although a few of them you could tell were not quite sure what they were doing. Our waiter mentioned he wasnt used to this boat because since they are owned by a new company and all the boats are now 1, they switch between all of them. The food was not bad and the fireworks were awesome to see as well. My issue and why Im only giving a 2 stars is due to cleanliness. I am highly disappointed and how unclean this spirit boat was. After a year of not being able to sail, I expected nothing short of the boat being spotless and it was far from it. As the night went on, I noticed there was an infestation of spiders. Not just 1 or 2 little ones either. There were at least 200 spiders on the rails and under the chairs and that is not an exaggeration. After a ton of guest started to freak out a bit, the crew took a few rags to wipe a few of them off but I dont think it helped. It was absolutely disgusting how many spiders there were. My husband even had one crawling on him. If you have a fear of spiders DO NOT get on this boat. To the staff, please do a better job of getting the bugs under control. I understand you cant eliminate all of them but to have the number of Nats and flies in the windows inside and spiders along the gard rails is ridiculous and it shows your lack of care and cleanliness.

Had an amazing time at the Odyssey dinner cruise. I took my girlfriend out for her birthday, and she absolutely loved it. The food was very delicious, and they even brought my girlfriend ice cream with a candle to celebrate. There wasnt too much room to dance because there were a lot of kids playing on the dancefloor. Other than that, it was a wonderful night well-spent.

The skyline of Chicago was beautiful and the food was exquisite. There are several different parties taking place and everyone mingled together. DJ play tremendous music and dance floor was crowded. I dont often eat dessert but I did have some and the desserts excelled as well. Is a two and a half hour dinner cruise and it appeared that all the guests enjoyed themselves.

The best access to view of Chicago’s skyline and architecture! The host was informative and hilarious. Totally worth the money.

We booked a cruise for our wedding- best day ever!

A group of six went on the ‪Sunday Brunch‬ Cruise. I recommend paying the high rate to park in the Navy Pier Parking Garage because you will literally be right next to the cruise boarding location. The cruise was scheduled to board ‪at 12:15‬, but they were about 10 minutes late. If the weather was nice, that would have been okay. But it was really hot outside and it wasn’t any fun waiting. Getting on the ship was challenging because we had to walk up a ramp that was very steep. I can’t imagine that it was ADA compliant.Our table was extremely close to the table behind us and the seats were too close for comfort. Thankfully, no one sat at the table on the other side of us, and we were able to push our table back some. The food was absolutely amazing! Hence the rating of 4. I couldn’t have asked for more in terms of quality and taste…so bravo!! It was a buffet, and as some of the items ran out, it took too long for them to be replenished. The cruise was on Lake Michigan, so after we saw the skyline of the city, there wasn’t much more to look at. That was disappointing. In my opinion, the cruise was way too long. I was almost done eating by the time we left the dock and you can only look at the skyline for so long. An hour into the cruise, we were ready to get off. With that said, I’d be interested in trying the architectural cruise in hopes of better views.

It’s not bad for the price. But if you can afford to pay a little more, just go to Wendella.

Great tour, polite, knowledgeable and entertaining crew. Lighter on the architectural details than some other tours while hitting a majority of the landmarks, but the tradeoff is a great time on Lake Michigan in addition to the Chicago River after going back through the Chicago Harbor Lock (slow, but something to experience by itself itself). The highlight was wrapping up with the all out sprint along the Chicago skyline.

We have done several events on their yacht. Get ready to enjoy some fantastic Skyline views!

Best time ever! Never disappoints!

I had a great time on the Odysseys Halloween Midnight Booze Cruise. There were three levels of music with different DJs. I truly enjoyed Marcus Carter on the second level. There was plenty of food for everyone and they kept the restrooms cleaned and stocked at all times. The only drawback is that we didnt get an opportunity to actually cruise Lake Michigan.

This was a nice outing for my Nieces birthday. It was the late night cruise. The food couldve been better, but overall it was a great experience.

Positives: such a beautiful ride around the water with a fantastic buffet with loads of options! Our waitress was incredibly friendly, even giving us complimentary champagne and gifting my family two glasses when she heard that we were celebrating my birthday. Lots of activities on the boat, one of which was a dance floor and DJ that was unexpected.Negatives: there were zero instructions to tell you where the ship was docked and when I had called the number on my ticket, I was met with a unnecessarily snarky, rather snippy customer service (or rather - disservice) representative, so we started off on a bad note.

Had fun on the cruise. Food could of been a little better for the price. The drinks were way over priced. Other then that had a great time..

I had a great time in the boat! I give you 4 stars because I was really hungry and I waited for about one hour a served to come to take my order. And when I the food was one the table , I couldn’t eat that... About bar - Sangria was very good!!! If you wanna go in a short cruise make sure you’ll eat before!

We took the 75 minute architectural tour and it was beautiful! The speed on the lake was fun after a long day. The only problem was this turned into a 2 and a half hour ride due to long waits to get in and out of the river(not their fault). We were tired and hungry so sitting with our 3 kids was not very fun. We were so glad to get back to the pier! Our tour guide (Tila) was fun and she gave us some great Chicago history while we waited.

So while in Chicago I wanted a tour of the city. One of the best choices I made. Amazing!

I had a terrible experience with Seadog tour. My architecture tour was cancelled and i was only notified two hours before and they were offering a 30 minute boat ride on the lake instead for the same price, which is not at all a fair exchange for what i was expecting and paid for. The place is unreliable, if you expect a 24 hour notice from customers for cancellation, you must abide by that as well.

I woulda rate it 5 stars but yall got 2 do something bout the inside bugs on windows..Other then that its a nice place 2 float and dine..Yall still got 5 stars #Chicago Winning💪

The food was amazing, the ship was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. I took my wife for her birthday and the crew made the experience very special from the on boarding to the personalized dessert. The city views were breathtaking at sunset and they finished off the evening with a warm cookie. Highly recommend.

Visited for a work party and had a great time. The food was so good! Seriously, Id return for the food alone! The view was lovely and we were able to leave the dock and return on time. This is a great way to get a beautiful look at Chicago ... If you are visiting this great city for your first time, this the best way to get that view youve seen in the postcards.

My fiance and I booked an early dinner course. The overall experience was delightful. The food was prepared nicely and the staff was very professional. A nice change up for a dining experience.

Do not take the speed boat tour. You wont know until last minute whether its still happening or not. We showed up to ours and nobody was there. We called multiple times with no answer. Finally got ahold of someone who rescheduled us. Then our scheduled date got canceled 10 minutes before we were supposed to be there.

Went on the architectural tour. It was well worth the money. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. They take you out into the lake for some quick pictures, then up into the river. Best seating was on the port (left) side.If you have an hour and a half to kill, Id strongly recommend it.

It was a unpleasant experience with the sea dog. River dying cruise supposed start by 8.45 but started late at 9.15. The trip was not well planned by the company. Heard Beer served on the boat was not great.Crew on the boat were amazing, very friendly. Hoping to have a better experience next time.

We attended a white party on this ship and it was great! The DJs were awesome! There was plenty of seating and security made sure everyone was safe. The venue was not crowded and we had an awesome time.

This was an amazing experience and probably a highlight of our trip. The boat ride through Chicago was brilliant and the local knowledge from out guide was excellent. We learnt a lot about Chicagos history, its buildings and what the future looks like.I was fascinated as was my girlfriend. Shes not normally one for learning about history but even she was wowed.A trip I would highly recommend, one not to be missed.

Took this cruise for my birthday. Great food selection to satisfy everyone. The staff was excellent. Excellent customer service. Average price including fees was around 100.00 the price goes up if you want a later cruise. You can bring decorations to decorate for a special event as well as desserts.

Boat ride was fan, recomend to take it on the suny day. We had fun wether, with in our ride time it went from suny day to snowing day. Cool stuff.

I chaperoned my sons 8th graduation here. I have to say for a buffet style lunch it was really good. The ship was clean and very nice. The crew was awesome and friendly.
