Bryan was extremely helpful and the staff was courteous and customer service oriented. Shop was incredibly clean, and looked more like a coffee shop or art studio than an automotive shop. I would highly recommend this business.

I had a small coolant leak and there was an electrical problem with starting the car. They were able to get the car in right away and they diagnosed the issues and got back to me the next day. They had it repaired and out the door the next day! Excellent repairs and courteous service, my first time there and will definitely return again!

These guys wanted to charge me over $1000 for a problem that was easily fixed by another place for $100. It was a simple welding job. On top of that, they charged me almost $200 for an oil change and diagnosis of what was wrong. I found EK online listed as one of the best mechanics in Chicago, but I will warn everyone I know against this place. Go down the road to Windy City Muffler and Brakes and save $$$.

Just dropped in, after numerous recommendations from local friends regarding honesty and great customer service. They were not able to accommodate right away (due to lunch time) but they were able to look at it and fix my a/c the same day. It was recharged and even added a dye, just to make sure there wasnt a leak. Definitely will be going back for any other needed service.

I was flying out of O Hare and came back to a problem with any vehicle. They were great with recommending a tow service and providing great service on my vehicle despite me being from Milwaukee. A headache that could have been much worse but was salvaged by their great communication and service.

I found EK Automotive right in the neighborhood. They were extremely nice, courteous and professional. I had moved to the area over a year ago and this was the first time I needed my car serviced and I was reluctant (being a female) to try someplace new. Because they had such great reviews, I decided to give them a try. I took my car in and the weather was awful. They were kind enough to drive me home and then come and pick me up after my car was ready. Their prices were as estimated and I know they were very honest. I subsequently found out that my nephew used to work for them and knows them to be so. Highly recommend.

I recently had a problem with my 2009 Subaru and wanted to try a local repair shop instead of dealer. I had seen a flyer from Ek Automotive and had also seen reviews on Angies List.My experience with Ek was great. I was easily able to schedule the service. They quickly diagnosed the issue and performed the repair (replacing the radiator and hoses) and took care of several other minor maintenance items. The cost was reasonable and the work done well and on time. Everything was explained to me and I was kept posted throughout the appointment.

When we drove our minivan to Chicago from Kansas two weeks back, the car showed battery indicator and all the door lights. Google search led us to EK Auto Repair shop. We left the van at the facility and took an Uber to visit the city. By evening, they fixed the van at a reasonable price. New alternator was installed. We drove to KS back without any further incidents and the van is still running fine - touch wood!!
