I cannot say enough about Jesus who helped me when I was in a total jam. I was working downtown with my crews and got a massive nail in my front tire. Jesus stopped what he was doing, came outside and helped me immediately. He was professional, kind and got me back in my car in less then 15 minutes. Plugged my tire, put air in the remaining tires and sent me on my way. It was so smooth and am so thankful for the quick turnaround.

Let me preface by saying this is the literal only time Ive felt the need to leave a review of any company/service/anything ever. BY FAR THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I brought my car in at 7AM-- they said it would be done the latest at 2PM. By the time 5PM came around I called and they said the car was being processed so I asked if that meant the work hasnt even began. They hung up on me. Went to go get my car and it was in the same parking spot as 7AM. I called to complain and they said a manager would get in touch with me. Still havent heard from them. Im actually impressed with just how terrible this place is.

The size is not right. I came here twice and failed to find the problem. Bad review, I wont come next time

This place is awesome! I’ve been to different auto shops in the past, and when I say this Goodyear stands out in the best way possible, that’s what I mean! Friendly, professional and honest staff! Very knowledgeable workers; I trust their judgement. They’ll never pressure you into buying or fixing things that you didn’t come in for in the first place, but they will give a sound recommendation, which I prefer. If they were ever too busy when I called about something small, they always found a way to squeeze me in that day. Their work is done in a timely manner. They will give a second look on something you think isn’t quite right before you drive off of the lot. This is definitely my go-to shop! I highly recommend this place to anyone!😊

Super honest guys, always confident things will be fixed fight the first time for a very fair price. I been going for years and they are light-years better than the other guys up the street. Never sell you anything you dont need and quick to do the work. Communication is outstanding if the issue is at all complicated.

Came in two weeks ago with a tire that was flat and I had to get in change to see some relatives that day. They were technically closed, but Mike and Omar checked to see if the crew could squeeze us in and get us a new tire. They did and got done just in time. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing service from Omar! I had a blow out on the highway from STL to CHI. I called Omar first thing that morning. He found the exact special tire I needed and was able to get it fixed with little to no interruption of my trip. He was the absolute best!

I came in to this place Friday morning and told them I had a flat tire and was told there was a nail in the tire. I asked them was the tire able to be repaired. They said yes charged me $45 and two days later the tire went back low. They also claimed they didn’t see a nail in the tire but found a slow leak and patched that up. I ended up replacing the entire tire two days later and they also found the nail in the tire they they could not find. I had my back tired repaired before that was cheaper than what they charged and that back tire is still holding on over a month. This company was supposed to repair the front tire and just for it to get messed up again in two days very unprofessional.

Goodyear CarCare is excellent. These guys are the industry best - Ive been a loyal customer since 2015. I never felt like I was getting taken because they hiked up the prices. They give you a fair estimate & that is what you pay. No hidden costs to rip you off. They take care of you like youre their one top priority. And they always give you a car back that has been cleaned up and shining like new.

Went there to get my oil changed, 4 tires replaced, head light fixed and windshield wiper fluid filled. I was in line behind a bunch of people, but I was surprised about how fast they finished. They even called to make sure things were right and check and see what kind of new tires I wanted.

Omar and the team here at Good Year repaired and installed my flat tire in LESS THAN 5 MINUTES! I have never experienced such a quick and easy service like the one here, totally recommend!

This place is fraudulent. I’ve been to various good years in other states and it was perfect. Because my drivers license was out of state, they cheated me. I signed a contract to get an oil change, air filters, and get my car service to make sure there wasn’t any major damages. I was told it was going to 199.99 and that it what i signed. I left my car and went home. I get a call saying my car looks great, but I need to top off my fluids. The added price would be 24.50. This conversation was very misleading. When I picked my car up, I was charged 2,450. I asked for an invoice immediately. I was charged for a tune up ($813), cooling systems fluid exchange ($189.99), transmission services (809.34), and other unnecessary prices that also included multiple cleanings that was not stated over the phone. The price was also not clear on the phone and I didn’t authorize for any of those additional services. I don’t mind paying, but I need to pay for what I authorize. That is so misleading. I would have NEVER agreed to that price. They tried to make me pay and not give me a invoice. Once I finally got the invoice, they jacked the prices up on everything. On my invoice, they even made a note that I have an ID from GA and not to charge back. I had no choice but to pay. It was dark and I was a female by myself. I finally looked this company up after that fact and it looks like I am not the only one. There are so many negative reviews.

It is disappointing to see a 3.9 star review here. If you go to Car Care the crowded parking, chuck full of expensive vehicles with not a place to park a bicycle tells a different story. I thought, ok, perhaps the staff is where they lost points?. Wrong again, the staff couldnt be more professional, more helpful and more courteous. Omar is a class act, he took care of me, remembered me and did a terrific job on the service. Too all those who want an excellent service while they wait, theres a large seating area with comfortable couches and an impeccably clean and spotless bathroom for customers. Thank you guys! Couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Omar is great he looked out for me like no other. My repair was a lot and he was able to bring the price down to something very affordable for me. Man with out this guy my family would be on the bus in the snow and cold. This is not a paid review Omar is a great dude I will only bring my cars to him for now.

I was lied to by the staff in this place. I dropped the care and they said it would take 1.5-2 hrs, then I called after 2.5 hrs and they said it was almost done, and then again I call after 3 hrs, they said they have not even started! Awful work ethic! I wouldn’t mind if they told me the truth from the beginning so I could plan my day not sitting and waiting all day long. Utterly poor work ethic! Please avoid at all cost. There are many other auto shop that provide similar service with at least more integrity.

Ill never take our vehicles anywhere else for an oil change. Every where else, mainly Jiffy Lube, calls you out & gives you a list of things that need to be replaced. Goodyear Car Care isnt full of it like some of the others. Highly recommend.

We acquired someone’s licenses plate blot in our tire. A few places we called were already closing, could not help us as they were backed up, or closed The gentleman whom answered the phone was eager to help us after knowing our situation and said it may be a wait but we can help you! Ahmir, Omar, Mike, Jesus. The entire good year team on Wabash & 18th. They have gone out of their ways to take care of my cars. The service is prompt and the pricing is always fair.I had a flat on my brand new car earlier this week and I was stranded on 80. I called Omar and there was tow at my location within an hour. Dropped off at the shop and repaired by the next day. Ive also had a full engine rebuilt at a fraction of the cost it would have been at a dealership. They will look for all the possible options to ensure the price works for you.I trust their exceptional work. Real scumbags. I had a coolant leak and they told me I needed a new water pump. I sensed they were trying to hustle me so I took my car to another mechanic for a second opinion. The other determined that it was just a leaking hose that needed to be replaced - a difference of $200.

Goodyear = bad tires+bad techniques+bad service. Worst experience ever!Heres the story, with photos attachedI changed two tires at Goodyear south loop in July 2018 for my Hyundai Santa Fe. Two brand new tires with 50,000 miles warranty, cost me $380.Three months later, in October, when I was driving with these two tires - with only 3,000 miles since I brought them - on a highway in Tennessee surrounded by trucks, these two tires suddenly broke out and triggered the alarm. The car lost control and four person in the car almost got killed! I had to drive between trucks and urgently pulled over the car!I then called Geico. The Geico staff were good enough to check the tires for me: no nails, nothing bursted the tires, just the tires themselves. The Geico staff said they have never seen this before and suggested me to take the tires back to Goodyear because this was definitely problematic. Then, I changed the tires at a nearby Walmart and later did an inspection at a nearby Firestone, both of whom made the same suggestion: take the tires back to Goodyear!Remember, because of the tires and services Goodyear provided, four person in the car almost got killed on the highway! Let along the additional cost of $900 I spent to called the emergency, changed the tires, did a rotation, and checked the alignment and everything - I had to check everything because I had no idea what Goodyear did to my car!Ok, then, the worst part came out when I took the tires back to Goodyear south loop Chicago, the staff there refused to explain anything with a terribly rude manner. They simply asked me to leave the tires and let them send them back to the headquarter to do a technical check. It was October.Now, two months later, in the beginning of 2019, I hear NOTHING from them. Every time when I called and asked them, they simply ask me to wait and hang out the phone. Today I still have no idea what happened to the new tires they changed for me, what kind of service they did to my car.The tires are in warranty (reminder: it was with 50,000 miles warranty and when they broke out, it was 3,000 miles). They should have refunded me the money because I have already had two new tires from Firestone and I dont need two fxcking new tires from Goodyear, even for free. Plus, I havent even requested a refund of all the money I spent in Tennessee to repair, solve, and take care of the problems/issues/damages that Goodyear caused.Suggestion: NEVER EVER go to Goodyear! I would suggest Firestone, or even Walmart is way more better than Goodyear. For my experience, they didnt do nothing good to my car but destroyed my car, and the tires and service they provided almost kill me and my family. Bad auto services not only damage your car but also damage your life. Just dont go, no only for your car but also for your own safety. Thats it.

Great service! I had a flat tire and couldn’t drive half a mile to Car Care to replace my tire. Even though it was probably safe to drive about 4 minutes with a flat tire, I was very hesitant. Amir helped me out by driving to my car and filling my tire with gas so I can drive to Car Care and get a new tire. Amir was kind, patient and went out of his way to help me. While at Car Care, Amir always kept me updated and explained everything that would happen with the car. I highly recommend Car Care on Wabash for all your tire needs!

Great Place, Great People, My german car that is supposedly the Ultimate Driving Machine broke down on me while I was in the city, and even though I was just a walk in and on top of that I was from NJ they treated me very well and took care of me in a time and orderly fashion. I needed to get my exhaust rewelded because there was a leak and an oil change badly because there was tons of smoke coming out but now theres none! They also suggested I change my air filters and now my car is a lot quieter and the airflow is wayy better, i feel like the car can breath now! They got the job done and I made it back to NJ with no problems! Not expensive at all especially for work on a BMW!

Many times gave me a ride as customer courtesy when they don’t have to. If they do that’s very nice of them and if they don’t I shouldn’t complain because it’s not their responsibility. TWO mechanics told me the problem was a simple fix, this place quoted me $700 of work and because the car did not start what option did I have? I called quite a few car repair shops around the South Loop to see if I could get my HVAC blower motor replaced (my usual mechanic is on vacation) and Car Care gave me a VERY reasonable quote. Jesus got the job done quickly and interacted professionally. Bravo!

My interaction with Good Year Car Care was an unbelievably positive experience. Omar serviced me not only with professionalism but with genuine care. An inquiry about my day and an exchange of kind words to end my time at Car Care really holds up the name of care. Because of him, I will be back for any other maintenance for my car. There is parking right around the corner on Wabash which adds to the ease of getting your car in somewhere safe from tickets and any other concerns. This is the place for all car care!

Wow, hey everybody. Just a word to watch out for this business. I have a classic car. It needed some muffler work, and I figured why take it to the classic car mechanic that I usually use, when mufflers are pretty standard stuff? Ill tell you why – THE PUNKS AT GOODYEAR JOYRODE IN MY CLASSIC CAR!!! When I picked it up it had 9 more miles on it than when I dropped it off!!! NINE MILES!!! I have before and after photos of the odometer. When confronted, they did not deny that there were 9 miles, but rather, tried to say that they need to drive the car to check the work. NINE MILES! And we can all be sure that they beat the living sh*t out of it, too, right?? To top it all off, the muffler isnt properly fixed!!! BEWARE!!!!

These guys saved my vacation. I limped in with a dying jump started battery, in a car packed for two weeks of camping. Its a very busy place with an efficient turnover. Mine seemed like an easy fix so they squeezed me in and I was on the road before rush hour instead of the following day. Thanks guys.They were highly recommended by my neighbor and I can see why. A very well run business with courteous knowledgeable staff. Especially nice to have them right in the neighborhood..walking distance.

Great Place and Location. The staff is always friendly and the venue is clean. The staff here Omar, had taken care of me. He made sure that I got the car by the end of the day. Oil changes here are really good and the do it within 2 hrs. They work very fast on your car if you tell them that you need it as soon as possible.

I took my car in on a Saturday, immediately they said I had an engine problem after hearing the noise that my car was making. Omar said that he would go into the engine and let me know on Monday or Tuesday what was needed. I drove pass on Monday and my car was still sitting in the same spot with cars parked in front of it. I drove pass again on Tuesday, same thing. I spoke with another guy that evening who said he would have Omar to call me the next day. I took pics and marked my tire. Omar called on Wednesday saying that I needed a new engine that would cost $6000. In the meantime I spoke to a veteran mechanic who explained many things to me. I immediately went to Goodyear asking the questions that the mechanic told me to ask. Omar was still insisting that they examined the car and that I needed a new engine. After much discussion, I told him I wanted my car back, which he would not release without me paying $390 for nothing.. he never moved my car or did any work on it. I took it to another mechanic who charged me much less than 1/2 for totally different repairs. I did not need a new engine. They cheated me out of $390. Do not take your car there, they are a ripoff!!!! I also rented s car during the time that they were supposed to be examining the car. That cost me $330. They are not repudiate!!!

Great service. The front desk staff are polite and professional. They followed up when they said they would and I was pleased with my experience with them. They were also very fast once the parts came in. The only critique would be that I think they are bit on the high side as far as pricing is concerned but at least the service aspect helped make up for it. I would recommend this place.

THE NEXT DAY I ENDED UP RECEIVING A PHONE CALL AT 7 AM THE NEXT DAY.THEY LEFT A VOICEMAIL STATING MY CAR WAS READY FOR PICK UP. WHEN I HAD MY CAR .THEY KEPT CALLING, STILL TELLING ME MY CAR WAS STILL IN THEIR PARKING LOT AND IF I DIDNT PICK IT UP TODAY I WOULD BE GETTING CHARGED 70$ A NIGHT (THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE THURSDAY AT 4 PM WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF TO GOODYEAR) ... OMAR DID NOT KNOW I HAD MY CAR SINCE THAT NIGHT AND I TOLD HIM HOW I WAS SO LUCKY TO HAVE HAD AN EXTRA KEY IN MY PURSE.. HE THEN HAS THE AUDACITY TO TELL ME THAT HE CAN FILE A POLICE REPORT FOR ME STEALING MY OWN CAR ... TRIED THREATENING ME WITH CALLING THE COPS BECAUSE I TOOK MY OWN CAR.. I TOLD HIM TO PLEASE CALL THE COPS TO PLEASE FILE THE POLICE REPORT AND SEE WHAT THE COPS WOULD SAY...HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS BUT THIS PLACE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY OFFER IS HORRIBLE.

My only regret was not being referred to them sooner! The integrity and professionalism displayed was exemplary. All of the work that needed to be done on my car was fulfilled and they kept me apprised throughout the process with all updates. I fully recommend them for car needs and will always come to them when any issues arise. Take my word for it!

I had car break down while in Chicago from Detroit of my Toyota Sienna on December8, 2018. AAA directed me to this shop who were kind enough to fix this within two days. The repair prices they charged me were high, but I am happy they took good care in my out of town situation.

AVOID THIS PLACE. They will charge you double to triple the price on parts. They will keep your car way longer than they originally quoted you on (sometimes that happens, but they will not communicate with you and you will have to contact them repeatedly to find out what is going on with your car). Told me my car would be done by the end of the week, it wasnt. Told me it would be an extra couple days (after I gave them an extra day to contact me with updates).Told me my car was ready to be picked up, walked over there and they said actually it wasnt running smoothly and needed another day to run further diagnostics (This was after having my car for 2 weeks and not communicating any issues along the way, I had to contact them multiple times to find out what was going on with my car).After keeping my car an extra day they called to say additional repairs would be needed. I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THE REPAIRS and asked to see an itemized quote, to which they said they would send one within the hour (they did not). They sent an itemized quote and then informed me the repairs were made and I could pick up my car that afternoon.When going over the quote I found how much they were price gouging. Told them in person I did not authorize the additional repairs, to which they claimed I did (I did not, and they did not have me sign an authorization beforehand). They would not release my car without payment in full.When getting in my car I realized they had disabled my alarm and had not fixed it, and they LOST MY KEY FOB. Said they would review camera footage and get back to me, they never did. AGAIN, AVOID THIS PLACE. They will be very kind in talking to you, but they will take advantage of you and rip you off.

I bring my Jeep in to get a rim fixed & now I get it back & my sensor isn’t working on that one rim. I ask them about it & I’m hearing 3 different stories and excuses. My pet peeve is paying money to a company that doesn’t take responsibility when they mess up work. Talking about “we will work with you on the price”. When I brought the car in the sensors were working and now after the rim repair it’s not connected. My time is precious and I don’t appreciate being lied to and wasting my day off coming back up here to sit when they make a mistake.

Shady place of business. They up sold me on every item they said my vehicle needed. They tried to charge me for 12 spark plugs designed for race cars and when I challenged them, they said it was the manufacturers spec. I had the spec with me and they back peddled. Untrustworthy, and unprincipled. The work done seemed to be done right though. I will never return.

Lil over priced

Very kind and everyone had positive attitudes, got me in and out quick on a Saturday. When I called I was told they had three kinds of tires for my car. But when it needed fixing for sure they only had one tire for me that was 180$ all in. So pretty pricey for one tire and labor but I don’t mind supporting the gentlemen running the place.

We got a huge nail in our tire during a trip to Chicago and these guys took great care of us and our tire. They patched it up quickly!

I was visiting from out-of-state and got a tire puncture late on a Sunday evening. I contacted this shop first thing Monday morning and they were able to get me in. The work was done in less than 2 hours. They had estimated 2-3 hours. The best thing is that they were able to repair my tire, which saved me a lot of money. As a single woman I am always concerned about being taken advantage of by auto repair shops. I appreciated their honesty and making me feel at ease. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area.

Traveling from Indiana...got off due to traffic and hit a huge pot hole ... made it to this shop... They were very kind and understanding... They offered me a great price on a replacement tire and were able to get me out in within a reasonable wait time considering all the work they had going on. Will definitely refer anyone in search of a great repair shop with great customer service.

I went here for the first time and was really impressed by the staff, particularly Omar. He was a really sharp guy. The full team was respectful, fast, knowledgeable, positive to interact with, and they seemed to go out of their way to accommodate customers (not just me) to get them back on the road, even if it meant working at a discounted rate. Great place for car care you can trust

Watch out. The shop I purchased my tires at does not do alignments so I took it here to get aligned. I was told I needed new tires, when the shop I purchased the tires at confirmed I had 30K left of use in the tires. I am no car expert, but watch out on getting up sold here. Will not be returning to this place of business.

Staff was nice & helpful but they are a complete rip off! Prices are too high for the service. I was charged $52 to fix a slow leak in my tire that took all of 10 minutes to repair. Only come here for emergency!

Absolutely amazing service. Very honest people who go above and beyond for your needs. Was there a couple weeks ago to get my tire serviced after coming from Canada, Mike and his team were more than fair and made sure I was happy with what I received. I was visiting Chicago for an event and when it was time to leave my car wouldn’t start. I had it towed to GoodYear around 2 p.m. on a Sunday hoping I would be able to get back that night. Jessie, the lead mechanic, and his team worked diligently and had the part I needed delivered that day. My car was up and running by 5:30 and I was able to drive home. I am so thankful for Jessie and his team because I’m not sure what I would have done if I wasn’t able to get home. I highly recommend GoodYear for their dedication and excellent service. They were so nice and even stayed after the shop closed to finish working on my car!

Great experience working with Omar for a new set of tires. He was open and transparent regarding pricing and quality. The work itself seems to have been done well as no tires have fallen off yet!I highly recommend working with them, ask for Omar.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Terrible and demeaning customer service with bullying type responses to questions. I had the nerve to actually ask questions and was confronted with defensive rude behavior not only from “Q” but also from the manager Omar. After minimal research I’d found the tire expertise that I’d relied upon from Goodyear was a very bad decision and they refused to make a return or exchange. I paid $400 for 2 mismatched used tires when I would have paid less for 2 new tires bought independently. Additionally I left with my tires at 60 and 61 psi and had to come back after noticing this error. Suffice to say, I’ll never go back!

Do not ever take your car here. These people are rip off artists. They overcharged me 300 dollars for a starter job. A starter only costs 100.00 dollars, but they installed one that costs 291.00 dollars for the part and 250.00 on labor without being authorized. They try to soft talk you, dont fall for it.

We got a flat on 94 on our way home from a weekend away. Showed up to Goodyear (after being turned away by Firestone because of the time) about 15 min about before they closed. They were so polite to my family and I and had the tire fixed very quickly even though it was minutes before closing time. Very professional. Highly recommend!

Went in to replace all four tires. Found the staff helpful & friendly in the choosing of my new tires. After an alignment check, they found, what I already knew about, that I needed new tie rods and bearings. Had them replace all that was needed and had my vehicle out of there in a reasonable about of time considering the amount of work that needed to be done. People might considered it pricey but knowing what is involved to remove & replace all that was needed I found it reasonable. Great job Goodyear!

This place has great staff. Went in with a flat tire and was serviced immediately. The staff was helpful in explaining my options. Turns out I needed to replace my two front tires, waited in lobby for a little over an hour, went midday, and was very pleased with the speedy service. Definitely recommend.

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!I have never experienced such rudeness and a lack of professionalism as I did with their manager, Omar. My car battery died, likely because of the cold, but started once I got there. I informed them that it was working again and they said they could provide a diagnostic test for $70. From the time I walked in, he was not transparent about what they would do or the time that it would take. Rather than tell me that they were at capacity and my car was not a priority, the manager gave me loose time estimates based on nothing that were repeatedly pushed back when I called to check on my car. When I asked direct questions about what was going on with my car, I was met with vague responses and condescension--he even went as far as to say I was lying when I re-stated the timelines he quoted me. He repeatedly spoke over me, told me to get out of the store, and told me that my parents did not raise me right when I pushed back on his tone. All I asked for was an explanation of what was going on with my car and accurate information and he refused to exercise common professional courtesy by explaining. He was snide and talked down to me. I am confident that I would not have been treated this way if I were male or white. They basically did nothing for me or my car and took my money. I was left disrespected with little remedy.

I got new tires, new brakes, and an oil change here. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the prices were right. My car was serviced quickly and I have had 0 problems with the new brakes and tires. I highly recommend this place, 5 stars easy, I will be a return customer for sure.

I am grateful to Firestone for helping repair my car during a major snowstorm! My car battery died on the road and they were able to repair it in less than 24 hours at a reasonable rate. It is so helpful to have a car repair facility so close to home!

If I could give them a -5 I would! Do not take your car here unless you want to be ripped off and left with the same issue.2 months ago my car started overheating. My partner who has gone here in the past said let’s take your car there and referenced Omar as a contact.Fine... So after 2 weeks of having my car with no communication they finally tell me I have $1500 worth of work. While I wasn’t happy with the number I realize my car was older and the work needed to be done.Fast forward 3 weeks later I’m heading to work and my car starts overheating again. You can imagine I was confused as I just shelled out $1500 not even a month ago. So I took the car back to see what was the issue. This time they tell me I have all these leeks, and it’s going to cost $1700 but since we’ve been to them in the past they would knock it down to $1200.Are your f$&k serious! No! Why just three weeks later am i paying more than the initial fix for something you should have diagnosed the first time.So I told then I wanted my car and of course had to pay $70 for a diagnostic. Fine I just want to be done.I took my car to another mechanic where I shared the work they said I needed without giving them the price. They immediately said that half the work they are suggesting was already done and the work i needed to prevent the overheating was going to run me 400.While there was other work, not associates with the issue at hand, they were things I could do over the course of time that had nothing to do with my car overheating.They are a ripoff and should be closed down. Offering me a free car wash won’t appease the fact that you were trying to get over on me.

I had my car serviced here by almost 2 years and the service has always been and continues to be excellent. Work is complete and on time every time. Omar the service manager always makes every effort to see that I am completely satisfied with the work done and his crew are always friendly, professional and efficient.

They are really fast, and does the job right! My mechanic always happens to do my car and does a great quick job. They fit me in even though they where crazy booked! They said it might take 2 hours but they had me in and out in less than 1 :)
