Got an email after about a 9 month wait to get my cat neutered. Set up and appointment by email electronically signed a release form and went in. Dropped her off in the morning They handled my rambunctious uncooperative and ill tempered cat very well, got her vaccinated and fixed and I had her back wrecking havoc on my home by 5. They were organized helpful and professional the entire time and I would definitely go back despite their potential reluctance to see me again

Have been bring my pets here for years and they have never failed me. My kitten is 3 days post op and she is healing beautifully so far.

5 years ago I had our female kitty Luna, I took her there because they take my medical card, now shes 5 years old great job, my second female cat I also took her there she was 1 year old great job she was fixed, now Im trying to take my 3rd female cat shes 2 years old but I cant get her in because I need to send them an email and I dont know how?? My beautiful pepper shes been in pain because shes in that stage.. I need help In signing that email or just show up because i dont want nothing to happen to her she a Bombay and Tabby.. please help lurie paw center Ive been calling??

Recently added two kittens to my family and needed a place to take them to get vaccinated and spay and neuter ( have a boy & girl kittens) called around to the area Im currently living in ...and every place was super expensive to take them ... my daughter told me bout this place where they offer low cost or reduced fees for all the above mentioned was glad to know I could bring them here ..Sunday i waited in line to get their shots and the pet workers came out to collect the kittens to keep them cool ...and to minimize people coming into the office ... They were very professional and kind when I spoke with them in person and when they called me to let me know that my fur babies were 3rd In line to get their shots ...my only con with them was the not really explaining if the microchip is necessary or not for inside cats. Other then that am very pleased with them and will be going back for the spay and neuter and rabies shot next month ...

I took my cat here years ago when I was in high school. They were very friendly and professional. I recently took my dog here to get neutered and I still stand by my initial review. Despite what some of these reviews say (likely from really dim witted people),they are extremely professional. They took the time to sit down with me and explain things and tell me how cute My dog Jakey was before saying bye. Although they no longer are able to be reached by phone which I agree can be frustrating, they respond to emails in a timely manner for how busy they are. I appreciate them and their affordable services. Jake had a little heart next to his name on his cone too :) Thank you paws! I will be coming back with my other cat soon!

I have a male 4 month old cat and he has a cut on his stomach also. I was not informed why or how to care for it! Poor communication! And no contact number available. I had to call another vet for information!

I used to take my pets to get their vaccines and get fix. I found a cat on my yard, I wanted get his vaccines and get neuter I called Paws and never answer their phone. Their website sucks big time there no information all about how much cost vaccinations and neuter. I know we are in middle of Pandemic but I don’t think you can get Covid answering phone calls. I’m very disappointed of this place. They don’t care about poor animals are suffering outside I wanted save this poor cat I don’t have too much money to take the poor think to a regular vet.

Wonderful work these guys are doing. The staff is wonderful and the care they give these animals is wonderful.

About 12 years ago me and my husband were homeless I had nowhere to take my dog they took my dogs for 30 days that gave us enough time to find somewhere to live and get it together stay updated his shots they spaded him and he got all the love in the world and I thank them till this day and he still with us. All the Staff are wonderful, loving and caring. They really love the animals and care for them as if they where their own pets. The facility is clean and well maintained. I felt safe leaving my pet under their care. I had my baby Pepa Pitbull spayde and they where so loving and patient towards her. The paws medical clinic is one of a kind. They love and care for the animals as if they were theirs. I volunteer there and I see it first hand.

I have utilized their services for many years, and this is the 1st time it has been this unorganized! This is also the first year where no appointments were necessary for vaccines. After being 10th in line after the doors opened, and having put my name on the sign-up board as such, there were still clients who were 8 or 9 names BEHIND ME with the same type of animal, who were serviced before me. After the initial screening call, I was required to go ring the bell to see if they were ready for my pet, go back to ring the bell to get the paperwork once all the tests were completed and I had waited twice the designated time for the results. Also, this facility no longer take inbound calls to answer questions or concerns. Please return to servicing by appointments, or maybe consider appointments and/or walk-ins at specified times during your operating hours. The well call you method is not working well.

They did a fantastic job on our dogs surgery. Hardly any scar and shes still happy and healthy.

4 stars just because of the wait (to make an appointment on the phone + day of appointment in the clinic) and process of checking in. It was all a bit hectic but cant beat the prices. Most of the staff is pretty great and caring, a couple of them clearly dont want to be there. This is baby Tila Tequila waiting to be called in. (It was nice to be able to wait outside since it got stinky and loud in the waiting room)

This center is great and affordable for bringing your pet to get neutered or spayed. The wait times can be a little long but theres a TV on playing an informative video about cats and dogs. Learned a lot of useful tips.

We spayed our pup here and she is recovering well! Theyre efficient and straightforward. The place gets pretty packed really quickly, so youll want to get in there early for spaying and neutering! The staff is extremely nice and the doctors are knowledgeable and relatable.Parking is a little tough as the day goes on. I ended up doing some grocery shopping while I waited and that passed the time!

Very unfortunate that people are wrongfully giving this place good reviews when they arent even providing good service. Especially in this pandemic! It seems its the incentive to avoid providing good customer service. Ive been trying to get 2 feral cats spayed and neuter, in addition to renting out there traps, without success. Persons responding to emails are vague, do not thoroughly read the emails to properly respond, and arent helpful. No one answers the phones!!!!! Why is this, it doesnt make sense... its the perfect way to communicate with peopIe! I dont understand how this agency is for animals, when they continue to ignore customers and the animals. Very disappointed. If I could give them a zero, I would.

Very, very friendly and helpful staff. We couldnt care for unexpected litter of 4 kittens but I didnt want to give them away just to anybody so I called 🐾. They have a procedure for adoption and will find better home than I ever could for them. Because of Covid-19 I thought it will be complicated process but it was pretty straightforward. Had my kitten neutered here recently. Overall everything went pretty well. Only reason Im deducting 1 star is due to the new process for dropping your pets off due to covid. Despite being informed via email & text that we needed to sign in first while leaving our pet in our cars, there were still several people that brought their pets out initially & waited in line to sign in with their animals.After signing in, we still had to wait until our turn to drop our pet off, which for us was almost an hour. I even thought I mustve signed in wrong, so I went back & double-checked by waiting in line. I was informed that we were in queue; just near the end of the line on a busy morning. Would have been less of a hassle had the temp outside not been below freezing lol. Gotta love Chicago.

My wife and I took our six month old Corgi here to get neutered. First they were very difficult to get a hold of and took forever to confirm his appointment. Were very vague in the information they did give. The thing that REALLY gets me is that when my baby boy came home, his paws were caked in dried poop. Almost as if hed been sitting in it for hours. Took us about an hour to clean off his paws while not getting his incision wet and he struggled the entire time. I am very upset that my boy was not cared for.

Be prepared for a wait outside in the sun bring water for your pet! And an umbrella for shade, once inside its 30 min or less wait

PAWS do such amazing work in Little Village, Im trying 2 get another cat taken care of there. A few years ago they picked up & brought back Midnight, Mittens & Misty. Mischief isnt mine but her owner passed away & she had kittens but have 2 get her an appointment soon. PAWS is so friendly & kind 4 our community I wish I could do more volunteer dog walking 2 give back 4 all their sacrifice & service .❤️🙏👼😊🙏👌👍

Overall,its a decent place.Just dont understand why they cant have an actual vet clinic/hospital here! Its so desperately needed in the area..lots of dogs & cats in the neighborhood.And they changed their phone system to where you cant actually talk to a live human being anymore.Whats up w/that?!

They neutered my kitten here a few weeks ago. I loved their covid protocols and friendliness!

This is a great place BUT if you are going in one the vaccine days go super early. Today/Sunday was opened from 12 to 3pm. I got there at 12:37 and was turned away told they are booked for the day. The sign in sheet only allows 45 persons per vaccine day so go super early or it will just be a waste of time. Also, I was told when I go back for Tuesdays vaccine day that there is no guarantees that I will get in.

I waited over a month just to get my cat spayed here. Last Thursday I made a horrible mistake bring my girl here. She was in good health when I bought there, I was called to be informed she was not able to get the surgery done. Just to be sent back in a really bad condition. Her ear has a slit that was caused by “her” and was just given medication. The worst part is that’s she has a horrible cough now. I also got her microchipped I did not received any papers stating she’s been microchip or given a tag. I have other pets that have been microchipped and have received proof of microchip. Now I just got to assume she’s been microchipped? Only evidence was on the receipt.Please don’t take your pets here just because it’s affordable. Please Into other locations!

I came here to get my 3 year old dog updated shots. When I got on the phone they quoted me $60. After I asked why because I knew my mom had her dog vaccinated and it was cheaper she quoted me $99 in the matter of two minutes. The reason was” I didn’t have a hard copy of my medical card”. When I asked two lady’s who were getting similar services did they show their medical cards they stated no. So why did I have too?? I offered to provide a picture. I guess that wasn’t good enough for them. I hate places like this!! They took my pup in there and two minutes later bought him back. I don’t even believe they gave him the vaccinations.

We went forbour rescue puppy shots again at PAWs Lurie and although pretty fast Asher was calm going in and wagging his tail coming out. They loved on him and it brought me so much peace and joy seeing they cared for him.

If you can afford to go to a vet do it, it seems that because theyre providing a service to a low income community you get an attitude, the people there must be volunteers so they feel like they dont have to be nice, no people skills whatsoever, Ive wasted my time twice going there and theyre not even willing to work with you, and you cant call to get the answers you need! Im so grateful to the vets of this Medical Center. My puppy was sick with parvovirus and she survived this disease thanks to the treatment and good care that they provided. My brother had a bad experience in the past with parvo and my husband and I were terrified when we knew our puppy was sick. But Paws Chicago Medical Center helped us and made possible our puppys recovery. They are communicative and caring people.

I had three dogs, waited over an to get their shots and when she took them in there they came out 5 minutes later and I thought that was pretty quick to give dogs shots honestly I dont think they even gave my dogs to shots, and I had asked for them to do everything including the heartworm test and she didnt do it when I looked at my paperwork I asked her why didnt you do the heartworm test and she said I can wait and then theyll put me in to do the test but I dont feel I should have had to wait and I had already waited over an hour and a half to 2 hours she said well take them back in and do the heartworm test and I dont feel like I should have had to wait again

Good customer service...Few days after my cat was there she started sneezing and passed a virus to my other cat in the house... Cat cold... slobbing.. Loss of appetite ..they arent really doing good... Even my dog is doing the samething... Not properly sanitizing.... Was going to take my male cat there but after this I will definitely not go there again...
