The staff were fantastic from start to finish. I feel like they really care about your safety and well-being when it comes to your car. I enjoyed the warm and friendly no pressure atmosphere. After doing some research online for good mechanics in town I came across TNT Advanced Automotive. I read the reviews and was impressed with the star ratings and peoples comments. I have to say I was a little hesitant to take it to a shop sense I do all of my own mechanic work myself with some guidance from a buddy of mine. I was so freaking happy they found the problem and fixed my car. The price was very reasonable and great people and I would highly recommend them! My first visit there was GREAT! The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful, kind and professional. They are extremely busy (which is a good sign) and they were still able to get the issues with my car diagnosed and fixed all in the same day. When I arrived to pick my car up they had the mechanic that worked on it talk over what was done and why— which was very helpful and nice. This shop is very honest, and upfront which is very hard to find anymore. I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else.

I hear good things, my partner got his jeep fixed there. But unfortunately when i needed them they couldnt service my jeep., I had a automatic transmission issue, all they could offer was a new transmission. No big deal. They just dont service automatics.

Tom took absolute care of me and my issue. I had a transmission that was walking from the motor and chewing up a brand new starter. He was able to warranty the starter, get the parts overnight and have me back in business by the end of the week. We have gone here for many years and spent many thousands of dollars. We spent $4500 on a new transmission for our truck and found out a year later that they did not properly install it. In fact they neglected to install a simple $4 gasket to keep the transmission free of moisture. When we found this out we were told the labor warranty was past the one year mark, in fact it was just a month over but because we have spent so much money there they would do the work for free. I spent $4500 on a transmission to be installed properly. How is scaping off the glue you put on and finally installing the gasket you negligently didnt put on free? At this point the 3 yr warranty I was told I have on the trans from the company that sold it to us will only cover manufacture defects not negligence. So this free $4 part they put on after the fact will cost another $4500 if the transmission has any damage from their negligence. the only way we will be able to sort this out is to spend more money and time suing them. I will not be using this company nor will I encourage anyone else to use their services. I dont need the manager screaming the f word in my face. Yes I have everything on recording including him admitting they should have put it on and Ford recommends it be put on but he thought glue would be good enough. Shame on you for treating a loyal customer so poorly.*** Update after Owner response*** Mary, Your response of It must be my truck because it has 190K tells everyone everything they need to know about who you are and how you do business. My truck is a 3/4 ton Ford I hauled limbs from a couple dead trees and lilac bush, this did not do anything to my trucks transmission it did however let us know something was wrong with the 4x4, a problem you yourself said was extremely common, you were busy so we took the truck to another friend. We have noticed the leak for months but couldnt be sure where it was coming from the A/C etc. I never saw a broken bolt you provide evidence. And it was explained to me and my husband because my husband didnt want Tom to swear and yell at me again. As for your evidence you want Id love to call you or meet you with it but you dont answer the phone so I guess youll get to read it word for word in the lawsuit. The last time I saw you, you were scuttling away to avoid me in the bank.

Well, its been a week and still no one has explained how a man can take his vehicle to you people with a simple relay problem and wind up with a VERY EXPENSIVE exhaust problem. Or why you would drill holes in the exhaust and other work without our permission and then charge for it. Or why you tried to charge us $800.00 for something you get for $230.00. Why havent you explained ANY of this? LIERS , CHEATS AND THIEVES!

Over years my truck has had work done by TNT/ Advanced Auto numerous times for different repairs I couldnt do. Whatever work was done has always been top notch along with the staff!

Just want to say that Tom and his guys are the only shop in this town that I will trust with my vehicles! Took care of my front end on my Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. Also did my fuel pump for me. On route to Florida from Calgary, and towing our pick up truck behind our motor-home, we lost power to our rear signal lights while driving through Billings Montana. All the repair shops we called could not help and neither could anyone in Sheridan.The only company who responded positively to our dilemma were the good folks at TNTs Advanced Automotive, in Cheyenne.Chuck, the manager at TNTs, had his technician Kraig, analyze the issue and within 3 hours had us back on the road again.They were professional, friendly, helpful and understanding.I recommend this company to anyone who finds themselves with a mechanical or any automotive issue.

Had my jeep yj in for a clutch, slave cylinder, and master cylinder. New slave cylinder leaked. I took it back and was told they put new slave and clutch. After second time jeep shifted better than first go around but slave still leaked. Took it back. Was told they could get it to leak. I took it back for number 4. I was told another slave was installed. Winter arrived and I do not have to so did not drive. Once it got warmer I started driving it again and still leaked. They tried to sell me a new clutch line that used same fittings that the claimed was leaking. The cost would have been 200.00. I chose not to go that root. I finally took it back last time. They said it was leaking because inferior design and wanted to get new bell housing from newer jeep which would put the slave cylinder on the outside of bell housing. At this time my jeep had been at their shop for 6 weeks off and on. I have no doubt they would keep looking at it but I decided to take it to Ds 4x4 and they fixed it in one try. I dont know how they do on other vehicles but not very good with jeeps. Cost me another 600.00 but worth it. In the past I have had good results with advanced but now would recommend Ds over them. Thanks Ds for cutting me a break and fixing advanced work

My van is the only vehicle we have. It was making a funny noise as I drove and thought it might need a bearing. I called everyone in town to see if they could get it in and fix it but it was later in the afternoon and most places couldnt get me in until next week. My daughter just started preschool and I had to go to an eye exam this weekend, I really needed it fixed asap. These guys although late into their shift took a look at it and fixed it so it was ready to go just as they were closing. Thank God I didnt listen to a different place in Town they said it would probably be safe to drive on until they could look at it in two weeks. My rear suspension was missing 4 Arm bolts and another 2 about to come out. Thank you guys for getting it fixed so quickly and the great customer service.

Truck broke down on our way from Denver to Utah. Got towed here and they got us in the same day. They were incredibly nice. We went and had coffee and lunch and came back to see if they had pulled it in to start working on it and they said they were almost done putting it back together. Had to stop here because of a violent vibration at highway speeds, which I thought was in the front end. Upon walking in, they had a mechanic take a drive with me, a rarity in todays world. Upon driving my cargo van, he felt like it was coming from the rear end and transferring through the frame; and that it was probably the tires. As soon as we make it back to the shop, lo and behold, knots and lumps all over the rear tires. I know this doesnt sound too amazing yet, but what makes this experience actually amazing is the fact that they dont even sell tires! With me stating earlier that I had felt vibration in the front end, they could have took me for a whirlwind with tie rods, wheel bearings, etc. If you want honesty, dont go to any other auto repair shop in Cheyenne, WY!!

This is long, but I feel like the whole story is important to understand why only one star. I actually would choose zero if it were possible.Back in July 2017 we chose this shop for our engine swap because they are supposed to be Jeep specialists and we have a ton of aftermarket parts on our Jeep, and they were referred to us by our preferred shop in Denver since they were booked out 6 weeks at that point and as our only vehicle, I couldnt be without it for that long. Since we were camping in Medicine Bow it also made sense to stick to a shop in Cheyenne.Since they had to detach the engine from the transmission I went ahead and had them put in a new torque converter and inner seal. 18 days after they got it we finally got it back. Then the new engine threw a rod (the entire process of which from loss of power, to clacking noise, to total shut down took about 45 seconds) at only 3036 miles even though I never took it above 3000 rpm because it was in the break in period, even though Sean told me that 4500-5000 rpms was OK (I knew better). 36 days later on a friday the new engine arrived but with the wrong oil pan. I hitchhiked the 35 miles into town because he had told me Friday morning that it was there and that he was busting butt to get it done for me and that he would keep me apprised of his progress. That never happened, so I ended up (a lone female) spending the night in the truckers lounge at the flying j. He finally got back with me Saturday morning to let me know about the oil pan. So I Ubered over to a motel down the street from the shop, checking out Monday morning and spending the whole day in their waiting room. I did get to drive it out of there late Monday evening, we broke camp Tuesday in a snowstorm and got back down to Denver.At just under 1000 miles I got it into our preferred shop to get it thoroughly inspected, one of the things they did was an oil change, they told me that TNTs work looked really sloppy and based on what they were seeing they would never send anybody else to them. One of the things they found was a top end tick and found that the exhaust manifold wasnt tightened down all the way. This was just before Thanksgiving.Fast forward to now. I am visiting my son in Wisconsin. I still am under the first 3000 miles. I never got above 65 MPH all the way here, and have been still always keeping it under 3000 RPM. Just when I arrived at my sons house there is a clackety noise but it seems like it is coming from the top end, so we get it into my sons preferred shop, owned by an ase certified mechanic of almost 20 years. What he finds is that the torque converter installation was done so badly that the bolts backed out and cut a huge groove in the starter, leaving metal shavings in the bellhousing. He also found that someone during the installation of the oil pan tried to force the wrong bolt into it and damaged the bolt hole, causing a pinhole oil leak.Sean said in an email that they would work with me and the shop in Wisconsin to get it taken care of and to call Tom; Tom at TNT says they will not take care of this, as it has been longer than 3 months, despite the low miles. He also tried to denigrate the guy who currently has it, calling him a kid who doesnt know what hes talking about when hes actually a middle aged, highly experienced mechanic, and tells me that the other shop I have since had it in must have done something to it. He also said that this was the owners decision.I am absolutely appalled at the low level of customer service that I am receiving right now, and also completely blown away that they are not only not standing behind their work, but that they are also being slimy jerks about it and playing the blame game like children. Appalled.
