I am a new patient at Legacy Dental. I have only had a consult so far. But Dr. Castro and the entire staff at Legacy, were very professional, polite, friendly. And took the time to listen, and explain and price all my options. So far, I am well pleased with the staff and doctor.

Not only were the ladies in the office polite and engaging but they worked hard to put any concerns or nervousness at ease. We were able to talk about my teeth but they also showed an interest in me as a person, which made the whole visit nice as well as productive. I look forward to my next visit, as much as I can look forward to a visit to the dentist.

They have always been sensitive to my dental needs and they have always encouraged me to string floss, waterpik and to replace my old manual style brush. Jessi was amazing! My boyfriend went there for a check up and when his appointment was over, we found out his car battery had died. Jessi and another lady offered their help and took control of the situation and got his car started. They were so nice and if she does that off the clock, I wonder how she is in the office. Definitely recommend!

Dr Davidson has been an amazing dentist and she is very thorough. All of the staff is very friendly and I have no complaints.

We had a great first pediatric experience at Legacy. Ms. Alexa and Ms. Heather were fantastic with my 2 year old. They showed her all the instruments and what they did before attempting them on her. They had fun Disney music playing on a speaker, and trolls on the computer to keep her entertained during exam. Dr. Davidson was very kind, and great with my daughter. Blakely is very excited about her poppy toothbrush, and we look forward to our visit in June!

Legacy dental is great. The entire staff is kind, considerate, and friendly. I have been going there for over 8 years and really think the service they give is wonderful. I use their dental savings plan and it has saved us a ton of money. When either my husband or I need work done that is expensive, they have worked with us to get it scheduled and by using the dental savings plan we have found a way to pay for it. They even found us a 0 interest credit card for the work if we paid it off within a certain amount of time.. I would not go anywhere else.

From the first moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a very nice staff! The Dr Castro was amazing as well as his assistant! After my visit I sat with the office manager for quite some time, she was very professional and really helped me understand what my insurance would cover and what it would not , so I didnt end up with an unexpected bill. On yesterday I had my 1st appt and it went really great. The staff was very pleasant. The dental assistant Jessie was great she made me feel very welcome as a new patient which means a lot. I went in for my first visit yesterday for an emergency. Everyone was amazing from the beginning. I had to call back today and expected to just leave a message and hear something back later, as with most docs/dentists. I spoke to Dr. Faber and he told me exactly what to do and what to look out for. I was scared that I would spend a nervous weekend in pain and now I know when to worry and when not to. My whole family is switching to this office.

I hate going to the dentist and my daughter is very picky about the dentist. This week we both had appointment. Miss Alexa did so well with my daughter she made me excited about my appointment. As I have been through chemo and radiation, my teeth have been very brittle and just not up to par. They gave me helpful hints about flossing and gave me options when it came to treatment. I am thankful for Miss Melissa who was my hygienist as she was very caring. All staff was very professional.

They are friendly for money, and Castro is all about the money!I had a filling came off on my upper tooth, Castro told me he can fix it. Drilled my tooth here and there, made a bigger hole, then the told me the hole is too large for a filling!!. He forced me to go with bridge. I refused. I want him to pull the tooth out.He does not like that idea. He tried to convince me to go with bridge, but I still said no. He told me if I pull it, he must pull the bottom tooth across it so my teeth structure does not mess up. (that might happen in over 5 years but not right this minute!)Well, thats a forcing + threatening statement, so I choose to go with bridge. (cost me more money and more 2 good teeth). No way. I told him to pull my tooth out. He finally give up his SALESMAN JOB to sell me the bridge.While working on pulling my tooth out, he was not seriously doing his job. He was chit chat most of the time with his nurse, talking about his weekend, unrelated with dental work, and his hand were stop working every time he talk, and my mouth stayed open.I will never come back. Cant believe why everyone rate good feedback. Dentist integrity and quality work is the most valuable then sweet MARKETING talk. This is the WORSE DENTIST!

Everyone is pleasant, lots of modern amenities for patients, easy to get an appointment. Sean was awesome at explaining everything he was doing when taking my xrays, when it may feel uncomfortable, and was compassionate throughout the entire process. The hygienist was a bit cold but Dr. Faber brought the laughs back in and made me feel better about my overall exam, empathizing with my mild gingivitis! Overall, a pleasure.

I’m the self-proclaimed worst dental patient alive. I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 12 years so my anxiety is through the roof with dental appointments. My first appointment I was sedated and the experience was great! I just had my first dental appointment in over 20 years WITHOUT sedation and my hygienist was beyond amazing! She talked to me, asked about my fears and concerns, was gentle and overall caring about not only dental health but my comfort. I am so thankful I found Legacy Dental!

If anybody is actively searching for one or thinks their dentist is just ok, pay attention. So not all have been bad, but I have had multiple bad experiences with different dentists that I think did horrible jobs and I had zero trust with them. The last place I went to was an abomination and had me seeking out new dentist. Thankfully, I had seen many good things written about Dr. Castro‘s office in Chester. So I decided to give them a try. The appointment process over the phone was very easy and friendly which even that is a change from my past dentist offices. Today, the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. An assistant brought me to the back and took me on a brief tour explaining different things about the office and showing me where different things were. When I got to my room, I had a small gift bag waiting for me on the chair. She did a brief interview with me about my likes and dislikes as well as things that were important to me relating to my teeth and dentist offices. She then handed me a piece of paper and asked which of these comfort measures I would like to use today. On the list were complementary things such as an eye mask, a heated blanket, or essential oils. Then if you choose to pay for it, you could get sedation as well. At first I politely declined any comfort measure but after quickly thinking about it, I figured why not and I had lavender oil dripped on my bib. Then my hygienist came back and did a quick interview with me as well took x-rays and started the exam. It was a very thorough exam and she explained all that she was doing along the way and it was virtually painless which is something that most hygienists apparently are no longer taught. The dentist came back and spent more time with me than most any dentist had before and did a great job explaining everything and making sure I had no questions. The scheduling process was very simple and the checkout process was very quick and easy and the girl there was very friendly as well. The head dentist walked by me in the hallway and greeted me and shook my hand before I left. Everybody there was absolutely incredible, friendly, smiling, and everyone of them shook my hand when they met me. I have been searching for a dentist office that I could trust and I think I have finally found that location. If you do not currently have a dentist or are not happy with your current dentist, Dr. Castro‘s office is where you need to be! (And also if you happen to become a new patient there, make sure they know I referred you so I can be entered into a drawing. The fact that I can be entered into a drawing though has zero bearing on me writing this referral. This would’ve been written regardless because they were just that good.)

Dr. Castro is a really great guy and the office staff is really great explaining the cost of everything. They have a ton of different payment plans and I was blown away by the person they called my treatment coordinator she went out of her way to help me. My dental work went smooth and it was easy to make payments. Thank you Dr. Castros office for helping me out!!!

I have been seen there multiple times when i was in the military. However, i have been fighting a bill that was processed with the wrong date since i retired. i called and written multiple times for over a year regarding the issue. A year later i finally got to speak to Sara after writing letters, messages, and emails. She said she would resubmit with correct date. its been over a month and she has not returned my calls, messages, or emails. i checked my dental insurance and no claim submitted. i spoke to receptionist who said she would take a message and hand it to her directly. Still no return call or email. Now i feel like i am being played with and i take my money and credit seriously. it is a huge inconvenience to have to drive 45 mins just to speak to her about this bill. dental services are okay but billing and communication are the worst! A complete nigthmare!

Nice staff, but they aren’t in network anymore for United Concordia for the Military. Someone on the staff is telling patients no one in this area is in network for the military. Which is not true.Just wanted to leave this review to let other Military families know. Everyone recommends them, but not everyone knows they aren’t in network for Military anymore.

Had to have a crown done and I was so nervous never had any type of work of this kind done before. Molly the receptionist noticed my anxiety and assisted in calming me offering me something to drink because I hadnt eaten because of the procedure. Stephanie came out in the lobby and calmed me and made feel so comfortable and relax. She painted a perfect picture of the entire procedure after my husband painted a horror story 😂. Dr. Castro is the best salesman in town. Its all about money, I understand that this is not a charity, but they supposed to do what they charge people for. This is my second time to go over there for my 6 months appointment, and dont get any service other than sales. I wonder if they charge my insurance for cleaning without doing the actual cleaning. I am really frustrated , and changing my dentist soon. So glad new plan starts in March so I can go get my teeth cleaned at a dentist office instead of going to Castros money extractor!

Had the best first experience here! From the time I called them to explain why I was changing dental practices, the receptionist was so welcoming and friendly and absolutely accommodating! She was able to work me in that week. From the time I walked into the door until literally this weekend when I received a procedure follow up email, I could not have been more impressed! I am VERY ANXIOUS about the dentist as it is and my dental assistant Alexi could not have been more pleasant and patient with me! Dr. Davidson was absolutely phenomenal! She was so kind, gentle, and explained everything in detail especially when I am not the easiest patient to deal with, LOL! The entire staff was accommodating and friendly. They even have a menu of relaxing items that you may find comforting while at your appt, and most are at no additional charge! I have never had such a relaxing dental experience in my life! I think I have found my new dental home!

Ive had three visits, 2 of which they scheduled an incorrect visit type and wasted my time. I thought the first time was an oddity, but it happened the very next visit, wasting an hour and gas. The office and people are wonderful. I would have given 5 stars had it not been for scheduling issues that have cost so much time, and now due to a need for a distant reschedule, a lot of pain....

Awesome service and excellent staff.

Expensive and unnecessary. I made an appointment with Dr. Castros office because I got a gift card for $100 toward dental services in my welcome packet when I moved to Chester. However, after I filled out all of their forms, Dr. Castro would not allow me to get a simple cleaning without taking a bunch of X-rays. The office seemed very nice at first, maybe too nice. The prices were very expensive (the $100 gift card would not cover what they wanted to do), and Dr. Castro seems to be one of those pseudo-medical practitioners who wants to scare you into having unnecessary and expensive procedures so he can make a few more bucks. He likened dentistry to heart care, which I dont think is a fair analogy. I wasnt there for a root canal, just a simple cleaning. He literally sent me home without even a cleaning. Dont waste your time with this place unless you are rich and dont mind getting cancer from all the X-rays.

Dr. Castro is so personable and really cool. The first time I went to a dentist without my parent present I went to him and he made me feel comfortable and really informed. It was a little nerve racking not to have my mom there to answer questions but he made me feel like he cared about my well being. I got my filling and didnt feel a thing. It took like 2 minutes I swear. Also side note this place smells really good and theres even perfume in the bathroom.

Awesome staff that explains everything in an easy to understand way. Helps keep you relaxed. Wasnt a fan of dentists before this.

Horrible experience....Dr. Castro is great, but office manager and whoevers sending out unprofessional hand written invoices needs training and accountability. Recieved one and only one bill that was unprofessionally hand written, words of over due and due now underlined multiple times,did not include services rendered, and stated I was being reported to the credit bureaus. No one ever called, etc. One 5 minute call and complaint to my insurance company resolved the issue so I thought. Then had to email office manager and do a three way call with my insurance company because the office supposedly wasnt aware of what was covered. A cleaning and xrays to be specific....unreal..A complete nightmare. Youll have to do better, unacceptable...I will not return
