I discovered my phone was not charging and it wasn’t my charger, had to have my phone so I rush to Batteries Plus for help, the phone port needed replacement. I was able to pick it up just before 6:00 PM same day! Love a Trustworthy place to take my phone for fast excellent service. Prices, batteries, and warranties are much better than I can get from Harley-Davidson or other local places. AutoZone and Advance Auto do not stock batteries for motorcycles. I trust the Duracell batteries and they have lasted longer than batteries Ive purchased from other places for my Harley and my Honda when I had it.

The counter person was a bit of a dim bulb! She didnt know how to open my watch to change the battery and made no effort to find out. A place shouldnt advertise they change watch batteries if they cant manage a simple Seiko.

In April I bought batteries for a Motorized wheelchair. Immediately I noticed that the wheelchair had very little power and the batteries went dead quickly. Over the last few months it has gotten progressively worse so I took the batteries back to batteries plus in Chesapeake where I purchased them. I was met with a rude clerk. They could not test the batteries because they did not know how to work the machine to put a load on the batteries. In fact, he did not even know that the machine was in the store until he called his boss. Because of their incompetence, they told me I would have to leave the batteries for three days while they went through a process to determine if they were any good. That’s leaving a person in a wheelchair helpless for three days. All because they did not know how to use the testing machine. When you purchase batteries they tell you if you have any problem whatsoever please bring them back and you have up to one year to do so. They don’t tell you anything about testing or leaving your batteries there for three days. What if it was a car battery? Would you have to leave it there for three days and take a bus? I’m letting all of my AARP, retired, and disabled friends with motorized wheelchairs know about my experience and or buyer to beware. Their sign above their cash register says “we are committed to customer service” but says nothing about this type of inconvenience to their customers! I’m very dissatisfied and I will not be purchasing anything else for batteries plus ever! I’ve noticed the battery plus stores are closing up lately and now I think I understand the reason why! I will be visiting all of the Internet websites that I can to post this as well as contacting the corporate office and letting them know how I was treated.

0 stars. Terrible. Took 5 weeks to get a phone screen replaced. They lost my phone while waiting for the screen. Then found it just didnt bother to tell me they found it. Keep telling me it will be ready one day, then keep pushing it back and back and back as if I didnt pay these cons $400 up front!!!!Going to a local shop next time my phone breaks. I didnt save any money here and I D*MN SURE didnt save any time and the majority of customer service was useless. Some were nice.

I have been to this store a couple of times and have always enjoyed the experience. The employees are always knowledgeable and will help you work through any difficulties that you bring to them. I have had work done on my phone where they replaced a cracked screens and I also took my father there to have his phone repaired. In both cases the work was flawless and worth the money we paid for the service. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Other than having to call to see if a particular battery I wanted was in stock, the process to purchase a replacement laptop battery was easy. The battery fits perfectly and the store associate that I spoke with was well spoken and knowledgeable.

The folks here are great. They find the correct battery for you and can even install it. I bought the battery for my car key fob. Dont go to the dealer and pay a fortune. These folks can do it efficiently for less time and money.

Just went to change my key fob battery and Chris broke it, lost the spring inside the key fob. Promised he would replace it and never got back to me after he broke my key fob. Still paid for the battery replacement.

Quick and easy to get a battery replacement for my key. Wasnt sure about the life warranty for the battery replacement but the guy was a good saleman.

Finding the bulbs that I needed was easy even for a non-techy (me). The 10% discount for online ordering and picking up was nice. Even better was the warm, helpful employee, who filled the order while I was there. I bicycled the 1.5 miles without looking at email confirmation of order. The Batteries Plus Bulbs website even knew that the inventory at my store was low. In fact, I bought the last two off the shelf.

Its ok but wouldnt honor the online price. Had to go online and order and then 2 minutes later, they got the order and was $14 cheaper per battery. Why do stores not honor their online prices? Just boggles the mind!!! Other then that the people where fine. Helpful but been there before and their selection is very limited. Always had to order or didnt have for different items. Maybe 3 stars may be a bit rough but hate having to go online while in the store and item picked out just to get the good price when they can see for themselves what the online price is.

I bought online and picked up the item at the nearby store. The ordering experience at their web site was quick and easy. The pick up process at my local store was just as quick and easy. Had repair work done at Batteries Plus Bulbs in Jacksonville, NC and tech tore the proximity cable. Did not find out till later in day while traveling to Norfolk. Took phone to Chesapeake, VA location store # 219. Phone was checked in by Cassandra with complete diagnostic inspection done and documented. Problem was diagnosed as a torn proximity cable. Phone was taken in and cable was replaced in about 10 minutes. Cassandra was extremely helpful, polite, professional. Understood the problem and repair made promptly. GREAT job by Cassandra. Would highly recommend this store. Prompt service and friendly staff. Knowledgeable. 👍👍👍

I was at this location about 2 weeks ago, and needed help with my iPhone, and needed to figure out why it wasnt powering on. The female manager on duty tried to assist me. However, she seemed as though she was more lost than I was. She wasnt very knowledgeable on anything I asked, and if Im being honest the experience was less than stellar and left me with a rather bad taste in my mouth.Now, knowing that this store offers more than cellular repair I decided to give them another shot. I went in two days ago needing a battery for my Nikon camera.It must have been luck or divine intervention, but the manager on duty that day happened to be a gentleman named Ryan. This guy was so helpful and friendly. He truly seemed competent and that he genuinely cared about me finding the product I needed and one that would last me for its value.Im so glad I came back, Ryan is superb, and so knowledgeable! Patiently answered all of my questions about the best battery for my power chair, had exactly what I needed in stock, and actually carried the two batteries I purchased out to the car for me. Also replaced my car remote battery. Both employees who helped me were very knowledgeable and professional. They definitely earned my future business.

Overall pretty good experience. The one drawback was the online site did not allow me to go back into my order to update it with the discount code given (I forgot to put it in the first time!) I asked about it when I picked my order up and got nowhere with that. Sales associates were nice about it, but I dont think that they knew how to help with this problem.

Only drawback was that these 8D batteries were not in stock and took several days to get. Otherwise and excellent purchase experience. Easy and convenient to purchase on line, store rep called me same afternoon stating when they would be available, and in store service when I picked them up was excellent. These are large, truck batteries weighing about 130 pounds each. Two store employees loaded them in my trunk with a smile.

They did great job replacing my cellphone battery. They had to special order it and if arrived on schedule. They did, however forget to call me when it came in.

Took my watch there for a new battery. 5 minutes after I left the watch stopped working. Took the watch back and they put another in. 2 hours later after I got home the watch died again. So I took the watch somewhere else for a battery and it has worked fine ever since then. Will not go back to them if they are putting used or dead batteries in peoples watches. Also, when I took my watch to the second place, they told me the water proof seal was completely missing - dont know if it was removed at Batteries plus and they forgot to put it back in. I would give them a zero star if I could but I have to at least give 1 star.

Well worth it. Go to the website first to make sure your battery is in stock and the store is open. We found the needed battery in the Chesapeake store, which is also open 1 hour later than the Norfolk store. Helpful, friendly staff as well. Plus buying via the website for in store pickup means a discount!

I went here a month ago to get my cracked screen fixed. I had a few issues with it, and ultimately I had to return it for a new LCD screen. Even though there was no way to determine the LCD damage was directly because of the first repair, Krista agreed to fix the LCD screen, replacing my glass protector screen (that was cracked) also. (They offer a 30 day warranty with cell phone repairs)Every time I go in this store the staff is very helpful and friendly. This is the only place I will go for my phone repairs.

This place is sweet. After leaving disappointed from the Verizon next door- they lifted our spirits. Diagnosed the phone quickly, and very reasonably priced. I had my battery replaced on my Note 5. After almost 2 years, running uber, Pokemon, GPS tracking... my battery gave up and was swelling. They replaced it no problem within a couple hours. Friendly faves, great attitudes. Down size is they broke the back glass, but understanding that happens all the time (cmon, its glass) they replaced no extra charge. Love you guys, they even recycle car batteries!

I used the online payment and pick up feature. I got a discount for doing that and when I walked in the staff welcomed me and my battery was sitting on the counter waiting for me. He processed my refund for the core charge that I brought to them and I was on my way. I shopped around for this battery and they beat everyone in town by $9.

I visited this location recently in a state of desperation over the $200 repair of my phone at the Norfolk location. The phone worked briefly when I picked it up at the Norfolk location. But an hour later, when I got home, the touchscreen no longer worked. I called them, and the person there told me that basically since they had seen it working while I was there, the phone was no longer their problem. I was upset and went to the Battlefield location, where Brian and his staff were more than willing to look at the phone to see if there was an issue. The issue was that something in the phone (I believe the midframe) was loose and needed to be reconnected. Sure enough, the phone touchscreen worked after David took it apart and reconnected everything. I was so extremely thankful for the excellent customer service I received. It made my experience with Batteries and Bulbs positive once again. The Norfolk location, (in particular, Chris- everyone else was great) could learn a thing or 2 from its Battlefield neighbor on quality customer care, and following through.

Literally just Saw this place after leaving T-mobile & decided to go in for some batteries for my watches. The guy JAY comes from the back or whatever & his whole vibe was just off!!! He had this dumb look on his face as if he wasn’t even interested in even assisting me or my sister ( who was also looking for batteries for her camera ) if you don’t want to provide customer service find another job that doesn’t involve it..period! This is my second time EVER writing a review on a place so you know he really rubbed me the wrong way.

Definetly call before you go to store. Ordered a car battery online, simple enough, had a online discount code for 20% off, says free install. When I get to store hour after they open, just to find out that only one employee in store so she can not install my battery until another employee shows up. I have to wait 1 hr or take my battery home , install and return to get my core charge refund. Wouldnt even loan me the tools to do it myself. Now have to waste an hour waiting and hope 10 am employee shows up so I can have installed and save me from driving home and back wasting gas for core charge. Very disappointed with this policy and level of customer service.

I went into this location today to see if a replacement battery would fix the issue with my Samsung phone. Ryan assisted me in finding the right battery as well as tested it in my phone to see if that would fix the issue. Upon discovering that the battery wasnt the issue, he walked me through some other issues it might be and guided me on how to fix it myself so I wouldnt have to pay to have it repaired unless needed. His solution fixed the problem that countless hours of online research could! I cant speak highly enough about the knowledge, courtesy and respect he and the other staff had. I will be recommending this particular store to anyone in need of specialized batteries or phone repair.
