I have been here several times and the service has always been amazing! This store is also huge so if you don’t find exactly what you are looking for you will likely find something else.I ordered online and my order was ready in under 30 minutes, which was awesome. The extra flexibility in my schedule was very nice. Order was ready to go when I got there. Walk in walk out.Only recommendation is the store could use a little TLC, but not a big deal.

I had an okay experience I went to pick up a order and the associate cut his finger and bled all over my bag which is super gross and unsanitary. I personally wouldnt have cared if he didnt bleed on it but he did and I had to ask for a new bag which he replied Yeah sorry I cut my finger so he knew he bled on it.There was only register open and there was a a big line, kind of why I didnt want to purchase anything in store today.

Plenty of selection all types of party items. I got a giant gender reveal cannon. We had a blast. 😂

I go into the store and theres no assistance as to how anything works. I had to wait in line for them to advise me to go pick out some balloons, purchase them and then go stand back in another line for them to blow them up. The African American {dark skinned} male that assisted me, {Im an African American woman needing you to know who I spoke with on 06/04, at 4:21 p.m., because I want there to be NO MISTAKES MADE in who this person was. My pickup date was Sunday, 06/06, 10:00 a.m. No delivery service was offered to me, and I had to make two trips to the store to pick up my 24 ballon order. When I asked them about adding the service on that Sunday, the young lady, I spoke with said Its going to be two hours before we can get anyone and wed have to void your entire order and re-ring it all over again. Not wanting to INCONVENIENCE them in ANY FURTHER MANNER, I made the two trips myself.} I specifically asked him if he could stagger the colors of the balloons that I purchased and I said I would like them in blue, gold, blue, gold {2021} every other number he said fine, no problem; however, I noticed when he rang them up and gave me instructions, there werent any gold balloons when I asked him before ringing my order could I have it done that way, so I asked again to make sure it was going to be correct. He said no, what you meant was staggering of the balloons. I said no, I meant exactly what I said and I specifically asked you twice and I showed you as I told you what I wanted done, because in my mind, balloons are staggered anyway, so why would I need to ask you to stagger them? And, furthermore, you cannot and will not tell ME what I meant. So he began to argue with me and tell me he would have to void my purchase and re-ring it, as hes telling me to look up the word staggered because what WE mean when WE say staggered is, posted on a sign over there where the balloons are blown up maam, and you can even go and ask him what it means as hes pointing to a sign and a co-worker. I told HIM to LOOK IT UP and go ahead a just void my entire purchase because Im not going to argue with someone about spending my money. He said LOOK LADY I DONT WANT ANY SMOKE Im just trying to let you know... I said THEN DONT MAKE ME BRING THE FIRE AND THERE WONT BE ANY SMOKE! Just give me my money back so I can go! He began ringing another customer and left me standing there! The lines are backed up on both sides and maybe three people working at the time, so in my mind I said forget it, I dont have the time to deal with it. I went to the other line where when it was my turn, I selected my balloons and left. Never offered me delivery service or anything. I will NEVER DO BUSINESS AT THIS STORE AGAIN! EVER!!! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR!!!

Seems like your typical Party City, high prices. However, customer service is what shines about this store in particular, everyone was nice, efficient, and helpful.

Aisles clearly marked for flow of customers. Six foot increment markers at checkout. All of these things are so necessary during this ongoing pandemic.

Store did not have a lot of choices like back in the day. Party City use to be my go to store for party supplies but they are no longer. Very disappointing. I will stick to Amazon.

I walked in and found exactly what I was looking for to celebrate my sisters birthday! Raven was super friendly!

A lot of costumes were unavailable, but most likely because of Halloween being in a day. All in all, the general overall store is well managed and you can get your desired items if you make it in time.

The party city on Volvo pkwy has really been rocking this curb side pickup.I have placed multiple orders and it is always ready in less than 2 hours. Other stores that have also tried this type of quarantine survival technique have not succeeded as well. Thank you so much for your hard work

Went to get the balloon filled that I purchased from there. Was told an HOUR AND A HALF to get it filled. One balloon...Puff, thats it, 90 minute wait, for one balloon, 90 minutes...That is embarrassing for you. How inefficient can you possibly be? There were at least four employees at the registers that I saw.Took the balloon to my local grocery store and told them about you. We both laughed at your incompetence.Keep on shining!

This is my last straw with the place.Monday I placed an order online for in store pick up. This order consisted of 4 different items. A few hours later I receive a call from an employee who said “I’m sorry but I can’t find two of your items. The sprinkles and the Mickey tooth picks”. I said “that’s funny because when I ordered it said there were 13 mickeys. So you mean to tell me you can’t find any of them?” She said “no ma’am”. I said “well can you hold my order until your stuff comes in?” She said “no. I can give you the stuff I do have and then when you come in you can see if the other have come in and get them then”. I told her to cancel my whole order. I received an order cancelled email that afternoon. Today, FRIDAY our bank account was charged for the order? Hum excuse me that order was cancelled. We call party city and guess what they can’t find the order. We now have to call 1-800-PARTYCITY on Tuesday because it’s a holiday weekend. Do better party city.

This Party City location is excellent! The store is very well stocked and the employees are extremely friendly and more than willing to go out of their way to help the customers. They didn’t quite have everything that I needed, however the one employee who was helping me search for the items (I wish I would’ve gotten her name) went above and beyond to search for them! I was very pleased!

The staff was amazing, Julius opened the doors early which was great because I had such a large order! They got us in and out. I love how when you walk in they say welcome to the party... I think they should have music and a disco ball to set the mood!

A really great location. They are super friendly even when they are busy. I wish more people worked there though. They get super slammed and they have so many balloons to blow up! Definitely ask them when is the best time to pick up. They are very knowledgeable about balloons and how long before they start to deflate. They also helped me take all my balloons to the car, (I had 2 glider balloons and 2 sets of balloon arrangements) they were busy but still had great customer service!

I went in to purchase costumes for both of my children. The system they have in place for the costumes is quick and efficient! The young man who helped me with the costumes was so polite and patient. We went to Party City to pick out baby shower decorations. But the BabyQ sunflower design was only available online. It was a little disappointing not to see them in person, but the clerk assured us that it was a new product, and only available online. She was helpful and friendly though😊

I really like this Party City location!! The store is clean and well organized so things are easy to find. If you can’t find something the staff is always quick to point me in the right direction.Beside parties supplies, they have awesome stuff that you can buy to make fun DIY crafts.They make beautiful balloon bouquets but even with their extra additive to keep the balloons afloat longer, I’ve never purchased balloons from there that did not significantly start to deflate within 36 hours whereas the balloons from the dollar tree last for well over a month. The Dollar Tree doesn’t have as big of a selection so I buy the big themed balloons from Party City and then create my own bouquet using balloons from the dollar tree.

Called to see if they had BIODEGRADABLE MEMORIAL BALLOONS. Spoke with a girl named Ashley. She put me on hold while finding out my answer. After a brief time, she got back on the phone to inform me it is illegal to release balloons. For one, thank you for letting me know while in mourning. However, in Virginia it is illegal to let off metallic and foil, as well as more than 50. So please before you open your mouth, know your information. Also, there is a reason I said BIODEGRADABLE, as they decompose. Worst customer service EVER! I still can not believe that was the answer I got. What a shame!

Drove 30 minutes to get there to buy balloons waiting in line for my purchase for 10 minutes then they told me they cant fill up balloons for another hour and a half not even one if I bought it nice way to make a kids birthday extra special

The store looks as if theyre going out of business- empty pegs and shelves everywhere. Prices in store are marked up from the prices online even when it is the EXACT same item and when I asked the young lady for help finding an item, she pointed me in the direction I had already been looking in. Then nonchalantly said- oh I dont think we carry those. I told her the website showed their particular location had several packs. Yeah, a lot of times its wrong, was her response. :-| Definitely will not be shopping here again.

I give them a 5 for variety of products but a 3 for level of service. I only seem to go there before holidays and it is crowded. The workers in general dont seem enthusiastic about serving customers.

Dont hold your breath. If you dont mind racing across Hampton Roads near closing time to pick up a costume they tell you on the phone theyve pulled for you only to find out that, no, in fact, they DONT have it in stock, then this is the place for you. Bonus points for attitude from the girl who said yes on the phone when she later explains I TOLD you I was on the phone with someone else at the time.

Need to get there stuff together. Went to 3 different locations in the Hampton Roads area to have something printed and neither store could print.. Said computers been down for a month.

We ordered balloons and the cashier was so kind. We found a few items for a bd party, but being treated so kind was fantastic

The staff was outstanding. They acted like my personal shopper. And the store had everything I hoped to purchase plus a couple of items I thought I would have to get elsewhere.

Very neat and organized so much to choose from. I was able to grab last minute gifts for my 7yr old LOL doll and slime loving daughters bday and get the necessary party favors. The gentleman who rang my purchase up had awesome customer service, he multitasked to ensure store calls were answered promptly and still managed to interact with me thanking me for my purchase and wishing me a good day. Thats an example many businesses should pay attention to. Would definitely recommend.

The store does not reflect what it lists as available per online. We went to 4 different Party Citys looking for a few things. Online it said that each location had the items in stock, even listed how many, but the store did not. When asked, the manager told us that the online is not accurate. We are an hour away from the closest one and this is a bit frustrating. Just wish everything would sync.

We came there for help with a baby shower. they not only helped us with balloons, but also with the banner we wanted. will definitely come again!

Worst customer service ever. The employees have a very I dont care attitude. One even said that while I was standing in front of them. 3 employees stood behind the count filling balloons while I and another customer stood in line for 15 min waiting to be rang up. I love party city but the employees behaviors and demeanors definitely will keep me from coming back to this location.
