Ive had a contract with Waste Management since October of 2014. What was initially less than a $75/month service charge has more than doubled, added fees have escalated and now the monthly bill is over $225.Id like to terminate service, but they make that as difficult as possible. When I called, I was put on hold, passed between a couple representatives and after about 30 min was told to leave a name and number and theyd call back. They didnt. Nor did they respond to a message sent through their website.After calling back and ranting at their employees, I was finally put through to an account manager. I didnt remember the details of the extensive contract signed several years ago and they count on that. Turns out the 3 year contract that I signed nearly 7 years ago has a clause allowing them to automatically renew my contract annually without my approval and Id have to pay the remaining contract in full to terminate service. Also, another clause in the contract stipulates that written notification must be provided at least 90 days (and no more than 180 days) prior to the termination of the existing contract. A different clause requires that all written communication be provided via certified mail, return receipt requested.Since the effective date on my contract is 03 Oct and its currently 16 Jul, Im no longer in the 180 to 90 window by 13 days. This means that in order to terminate service, not only would I have to pay in full for the remaining three months, I would have to pay for the entire subsequent year as the contract will renew in October and there is nothing I can do about it.Waste Management would incur no more costs if I requested service termination today than they would have if I requested it two weeks ago. The business practices employed by Waste Management are abusive and clearly designed to entrap customers that no longer want their service. The extent and structure of their contract is unnecessarily byzantine which serves the same purpose of entrapment.

I used this service at my home using a bagster. I was not charged for anything. So I used the same bag for an elderly lady who is on a fixed income for debris removal and now theres a $145.00 fee for pickup. If I had known that there was a charge now and not when I used it before I would NEVER HAD SUGGESTED IT. I am glad to see the trash industry is as much trash as the trash they pick up. Very disappointed with waste management. Now the elderly lady is stuck with a bagster until God knows when. Bad business. DO NOT USE BAGSTER. THEY ARE RIPPING YOU OFF AND DONT CARE.

They were great at welcoming my business and getting my account set up and container placed, but the rest of the experience has been a disaster. Did not meet any of the commitments related to the pick up schedule, when contacting customer service I was dealt with rudely.

Ive been at waste management for almost 16 years and Ive got to say the things that I have learned in the things that I do I really enjoyed my work its something different everyday my fellow employees are awesome to work with its almost like were one big family awesome place to work for awesome

All of my maintenance men were out sick and my dumpsters were overflowing. Our drive, Willie, was so nice and dumped the full dumpster then picked up the trash left on the outside of the dumpster and dumped it again. I offered to put the trash in the dumpster but he insisted on doing it. Thank you Willie, I really appreciate you going above and beyond.

Worst than the worst service, I fought hard with my previous provider to let me go so that I can work with wast Managment after few months of service they start charging me $242 for $67 service by saying I put more trash on my 6 yard dumpster. called the agent who signed me and he didn’t want to answer my phone instead he gave me bill department phone funny. I called the department they said they don’t know the person who signed me in, and assigned me one who was suppose to help me out.But it has been two weeks never heard from them, sent email two times no answer. I asked for the photos the so called driver took no answer.This is an absolute robbery in a day time

During both of my interviews, I was greeted all by polite staff. The building is very clean along with Maintenance shop. The company really Values Safety, as I seen in the shop.

Their POC on google is an unreachable number.

This is the worst company i ve ever dealt with. They lie and overcharge you when they feel like it. I don’t recommend anyone to do business with these people. They are just horrible. They dont even deserve my one star. Never again.

After almost 6 years of service, I noticed the rates had increased from $158 monthly to over $300. I went out of business and asked them to cancel my service. When I did, this mysterious clause surfaced that said I was in a three year contract that automatically renewed for three additional years without any authorization. I asked what was the date of my contract and no one ever could tell me. After asking for an equally nasty manager to explain, she stated she didnt know and would send me something in the mail. Total B.S.! Im going to see them right now up close and personal.

Stay away from this company, their price is very high, the price increase is up to 20%, the customer service department is very unreasonable I can rate zero if possible.

This company is a joke on the 1st day of pick up there dumb add driver knocked the electric power line down and 2 months later Im still trying 2 get power back on in my business and there insurance company is more of a joke please stay away from them
