We went through the first time and we didnt have the car in park so we didnt get fully clean. However the young guy that worked there allowed us to go through again and showed us great hospitality. Was great

Normally I would be ok with a wash at Freedom. However, my last wash was horrible car was still dirty, not a little spot here or there but large spots on the car. I contacted the company and have still not heard from them weeks later. If this is how they will be doing Business moving forward I will be staying away

The staff is friendly and easy to interact with, the vacuums always work, the care way does a pretty damn good job for being an auto- wash

Used multiple times and feel as each time I use the less soap. I use the pressure washer with soap, might as well be water. I used the brush and stop because there us no soap coming out. Probably wont use again ill just take the trip to norfolk nex to wash next time.

Nice clean, roomy and excellent condition machines! I utilized the wand washer on one of my convertible cars that had been sitting for years. The machines provided generous soaps and spot free rinses that my car now looks fantastic again!!! ****.5 stars !!!

I love this facility. Staff are always so helpful from retrieving the vacuum coin to scrubbing heavy debris from your vehicle while inside the stall. Vacuums always work and trash bins are emptied regularly. The monthly pass is the best route.

Okay to go for a quick do it yourself wash. A little challenge going through the automated car was. I will say the machine does miss a lot of premium areas.

Pretty sorry even by automatic car wash standards. Paid for the top wash, went through. The hood had obvious spots that weren’t touched and the wheel wheels and running boards were still very very dirty. Would not recommend.

Most efficient, hard-working and dedicated employee Ive ever seen in a car wash.

So many improvements have been made in the last 6 to 8 months. They went from (1 year ago) my least favorite car wash to (currently) the ONLY car wash I use. So if you havent used Freedom in a while, do yourself a favor and give them another try.

Mainly a self serve car wash but it also has a drive thru wash if needed. They have plenty of vacuum stations available, sometimes you will have to wait for a bay to wash your car though. Car wash is easy to use, just need a card or coins.

Just a nice spot for car enthusiasts to wash their cars and admire each other cars.

Reading through other comments it seems some people have difficulty understanding how to use the carwash. There are staff at the automatic wash part (not sure about late at night as it is 24hrs) that tell you what to do and also bright flashing lights that say, pull forward, stop and backup. Pretty much impossible to misunderstand. I only used auto car wash but it did a pretty good job on my car. Its a hatchback so kinda oddly shaped and there were missed spots on my side mirrors and rear window, but I was otherwise satisfied. Staff were really friendly and helpful and everything was really clean and quick service. My only complaint is pricing is a little high. I paid 24.99 for the premium wash which is usually 16-20 at comparable places. Will def go back but hopefully prices will be a little lower next time.

The outside cleaning was good, no complaints on that front.Inside - I wish they would have done a better job. The floor mats were still dirty when I took my car out.

Attendant was not wearing a mask during his whole sales/membership pitch to me. Oddly enough, he then masked-up after my van was already in the wash.Nice to have lots of extra scrubbing of the tough spots on my van, including wheels and grille, since I bought the top wash. And also, I appreciated the 6-min vac token for free.But still, I didn’t need the up-sell pitch on my first visit here. I just need a wash and vac, man.

Went through the drive-thru part and it broke my cover on my windshield on the side window and it scratch my truck and almost tore off my mirror

I didn’t enjoy this drive through car wash experience. It’s different from others, with this one you have to actually drive yourself through and I caught on late and ended up having to drive away with soap on the back half of my car lol .. that was a little embarrassing. I would not spend $16 on that place again.

Always satisfied minus the vending machine items always getting stuck, I always drive away with a clean car inside and out.

Used to be a great car wash, I would drive from Suffolk just to use. Now the high pressure wash is like a garden hose, wont even move a weather tech liner sitting on the ground spraying it. If that tells you. Unless you use the brushes it wont remove any dirt, and at that point t might as well wash it by hand. Not sure what happened, definitely a disappointment.

For 24.99, not impressed. Still had bird poo on my hood. Didnt get my vacuum token and the instructions video was broken. You drive though and no one pre washes. Was an ok wash for 10, but not 24.99. I want money back!!

The first vacuum I pulled into didnt work. I discovered this after taking everything from my trunk and placing it behind the car... Huge Grrrr moment having to pack it up just to move over. The automated car wash ($16) did a pretty good job. The vending products are priced at the average car wash prices but occasionally get stuck. Overall happy with great suction from second vacuum and the young man/employee who approached and helped me pick the wash I wanted.

Been going here for the last few months its a great place to get your vehicle cleaned up good time to go is early in the morning or late afternoon and the air dry tool is a great feature for sure.

The car wash had instructions to turn off wipers. I followed directions & 1 of my wiper blades was broken on the driver side. I was given a # to call but no answer.

This place has turned me off from automatic car washes. Theres been no rain for days and none in the forecast for a week so I decided to wash my dusty car off. I took my brand new car through their auto car wash and did the cheapest option (9$) because honestly I only needed a rinse. Maybe I drove through too fast but the rinse part did not wash all the soap off (water pressure seemed low). So the dryer was blowing soap aroundI went to the self service booth and rinsed the car but also decided to scrub my tires since it said 6$ for 8 mins if you use a card and I had time left after rinsing. By the time I scrubbed the tires and rinsed, it was still running up time past 8 mins. MAKE SURE YOU STOP THE TIMER IF YOU USE A CARD.Then I got home and the rims were like soap didnt even touch them. Car a little dusty. SCRATCHES in my new cars paint. Some scratches are more faint while others are pronounced. most of the scratches were on the hood but a few were on the sides and probably in back, too. Brand new car SMH. Made me want to cry.Oh and the attendant that ran up to ask if I needed help? No mask on. Were a year into the pandemic and youre coming up to my *open* window with no mask? That shouldnt be happening.So if you try this place, may the odds be ever in your favor.Never done a self wash but looks like its time to learn... Unless I can find a touch free carwash around southside

The attendant was very helpful and nice. We had a problem with the vacuum cleaner and he took care of us right away. I got the monthly unlimited washes for a great price. They have a variety of options for you to choose from. I highly recommend them.

Jeff, the GM, was super helpful when my membership didnt read and he did a phenomenal job on my tires! My car looks fabulous, will definitely be back!

So I have a Cadillac I go in excited to get my car washed I actually drove 16 minutes out the way to get a car wash. So after paying I drive in until it says stop turn off wipers and the car wash didn’t respond to me being stopped so I sat there for a minute or so which was a bit scary. So The machine starts to work. Mind you this is night time when I get this done I finish up with the car wash and see that my car isn’t washed well and a strip piece from my hood had been ripped off and I have a well kept car.

This car wash was terrible. I paid for the most expensive wash at $25 and did nothing near expectations. The back of the SUV was not touched by a brush, wheels were not cleaned and zero tire gloss was applied to tires as paid for. Would never give them my business again.

I really appreciate freedom wash Chesapeake location. Because they are the only one that can fit a lifted truck with a width of 12.50 tires in there automatic car wash. While other car wash turn me away. I really appreciate them! Thanks guys!

Vacuums did not work

I always wash my car myself at spots like this over the drive thru option which in my opinion doesnt clean as well doing it yourself. The vacuum was strong and has 2 different nozzles which was great for small areas in the car especially around my center console. The car wash itself had more or less the same options you will find anywhere else (rinse, foam brush etc). What I really liked was that it had an option for a Spray on Sanitizer for the car which I have never seen. Times like these from Covid I actually appreciate that option for cleaning all over especially for the door handles. It also had that handheld Air Dryer which isnt that great but its better than nothing in most cases especially if you didnt have any rags to dry the car, or are typically the air-dry type of person, not great for a whole car drying option but gets the job done at least for the windowshield and windows. Would definitely go back if Im around.

Love this place always nice and friendly staff working. We also got the monthly membership as we have children and use the car wash and vac daily. Saved slot of mo ey in the long run and would not of know about it if it wasnt for the attentive staff who told us about the options.

Pulling up to Bay 7 of the self-wash service I was in my car ready to clean. I swiped my credit card, and began washing. Everything was going well until I tried to use the high pressure rinse option.The High Pressure Rinse did not work for more than 2 seconds at any given time. Right when I was about to give up it would start working again. It was infuriating and ended up costing me $4 more than I usually spend.I have used this car wash before and have been happy with it. The bad experiences outweigh the good when all you are looking for is a place free of frustration to wash your car.

Its okay. My car never shines after I use this car wash. Theres always some option not working. Id rather try the newer car washes popping up all over.

You really need to try this First Class car wash/Spa out, they give you great service and with all new top shelf equipment. The finish product and customer lounge is super nice. Give them a try, you will see the best wash and wax job in the Hamptons.

Loved it. The new automatic on the right side was amazing. Instructions were very clear with the L.E.D lighting that changes color to let you know when to go and when to stop even ,when presoak is spraying on the car when entering. The drying time is very very generous and the rinse after the wash made sure no remaining soap was present. Soap coverage was amazing I was not able to see out the windshield the entire wash due to soap coverage. 10/10

Went to this car wash today to get my car wash. I paid ten dollars in tokens and it wasn’t enough time. So I used my card and had 7 minutes to wash my car. After I fully used the 7 minutes. I turn the the knob to stop and didn’t know the machine was still going and didn’t know I had to push the button. Before I drove off didn’t know it cost $20 for max of 7 minutes until I saw it! Went around look for employee and no one around saw someone hiding up in the office upstairs through window but no way to get their attention. And it was around 4:30. When I went back to the car I look at the machine and they had it at the bottom knowing no one will barely look at the message that says they will take out $20 dollars maximum for only 7 minutes in smaller message! Anyone that use this car wash beware of using your car their they will rip you off.

Good car wash, I have a monthly plan and Im very pleased with in.

Dont bother: besides being hard to find for the trees & one way streets, once you get there, you have to either buy TOKENS ($3 minimum) or use credit card ($6 minimum) but may charge up to $20 depending on when you hit the STOP button. Im traveling, so Im not gonna be buying Tokens, neither am I going to risk whatever amount directly on my card.

Staff is always friendly and helpful! When it’s time to clean my car I always go to freedom wash. They have all the equipment I need to get my car lookin good!

I have enjoyed freedom wash for 11 yrs, however my income changed. I emailed them dozens of times to stop auto billing, they ignored me everytime. Each time they pushed it thru cost me $36, for NSF charged X4 attempts.......I am heated!!!!!

Over all I like the car wash. It has plenty of space for you to clean your car out after the outside wash. The last couple of times I went the drive thru did not give me my token for the vacuum. I was able to speak to the attendant and he helped me rather quickly. Im there every week.

Bad equipment could not get brush to work or high pressure rinse. Difficult cc processor was charged for $6 should have been 6 or 8 min only recd 3 could not find anyone to assist walked all over looking for manager or technician .Had to pay $3 more in quarters and still did not get all small SUV cleaned. As was leaving around 9:15 saw manager p/u trash around corner left curb area by postal shop. Worst car wash establishment ever. Sign days free vacuums but then small print only with automatic prepay club

I have probably lost 10+ dollars on their machines...the vacuums dont work on their auto wash station is low pressure. They know that yes, you could call and get your money back but most people wont because of the small amount. Better yet, they could have their equipment in working condition.

Most reliable car wash! I have been to many and this car wash with its lighted bay and fantastic machines are the best!.The unlimited package is the best option for me, especially, when you get pollen daily, and live in a neighborhood lined with trees. (birds hate a clean car!)Their customer service is prompt and courteous, which is refreshing, these days.

I have been using freedom for some time now. The other night i went to wash my car and it said my total amount charged was 20.00 - When i go to look at my online banking this morning, 40.00 was taken from my card for this particular wash. Ive never had any issues before, and im hoping customer service fixes this issue. Be sure you are watching your account to make sure the amount charged is in-fact the amount coming out of your account.

Its okay, we were there and they did not have soap in the bays to wash your car so we wasted our money putting it in the machine only to find out it was empty. The bays were clean and well kept and the attendant offer for us to go in again, but after sitting through two bays we declined. We will try it again.

Our monthly membership is great! Its for the drive in car wash and they give you a vacuum token. My car is always clean . The vacuum works well. I even like the self serve wash area! The staff is courteous and attentive.

The automatic car wash cut off while I was in it without completing the wash leaving soap all over my vehicle then i had to pay for manual wash which didn’t help much either because of the low pressure machinery, very dissatisfied. Luckily I saw a worker right when I was about to drive off, he gave me a free wash because of the wash that broke down.

BEWARE when using credit card!!I used my credit card the other night to rinse of my truck and didnt turn the dial to STOP and PUSH THE STOP button. I was under the impression I was paying $6 for a quick rinse, when in fact I was charged $20 for not pushing the STOP button. The company stated they do not offer refunds. Rinsing my truck off was not worth $20. I am sure this company knows they can get people who do not push the stop button.

Quick an easy and it doesnt hurt that the staff is constantly cleaning up & making sure the equipment is good to go!

Its a good place with a lot of space for your vehicle but half the time the vacuums dont have any suction so you waste money on a bay that doesnt work then waste your time finding a different bay to use. Other than that the place is great and they are always adding new things to the self wash bays.

Outstanding place to get a car/truck wash

I get the 15 dollars per month deal and wash car twice weekly. I do my own detailing so dont need more expensive packages.

So glad to have a Freedom Wash near me. They need more locations!

A bit expensive but quality wash and clean brushes

A good wash, I cant deny that, however, WHAT is up with the free vacuum signs? I paid for an automatic car wash as well as 2.00 for vacuuming. There was a slot to insert a token instead of a credit card but I didnt have the extra time to figure out what was up. Ill go back for the wash as the attendants were present in the event you needed them but will vacuum somewhere else.

Tad bit expensive for an automatic carwash but pretty good. The extra token they give you is awesome i guess if you need to vacuum, spray a little fragrance, or get some air. The unlimited washes for a flat fee per month is absolutely wonderful though.
