Been doing business with them for years... they have no problem with you bringing your own parts and theyll install them for you, its just labor. Their labor rates are average for the area. Theyve always done good quality work for me, I have no complaints.. highly recommend them. Matter of fact.. I bought my car from them also.

We purchased a used Toyota Highlander from First Team Chevrolet (an excellent experience) recently. There were some minor repairs needed after the purchase that Hampton Chevrolet had coordinated with their Toyota store to repair. I want to compliment the entire staff on their courtesy and professionalism. Special mention to Service Manager-Neil McKennan, Guest Relations-Paul and Tyler Self, and Tom and Tina in Parts all wonderful to deal with. The others were also very courteous and quick to ask while I was waiting if I was being helped and if there is anything I need.First Team gets it. The art of customer service has been lost by many companies. Most now are concerned with making a profit only. First Team is also out to make a difference. We know where well be buying our cars in the future. Thank you First Team for Peace of Mind.

Such a great experience! I went in with my list of requirements for what I was looking for and Derrick was great. He picked through inventory and was patient with me everytime I knocked down his suggestions. When we finally settled on the Pathfinder he did what he could do to get me into it. The atmosphere was very friendly and more like a social setting rather than a business transaction. I got what I wanted and Derrick helped me get it without being pushy. I will definitely be back for my next purchase. Great job First Team!

I was buying remotely and I had my dad check out a car that I liked. He approved of the car, but First Team Toyota wanted to make sure everything was in the right shape. On another inspection, they found something that I didn’t like, and rather than taking advantage of me as they well could have, they refunded my deposit and made it very easy for me to find another vehicle elsewhere. They actually put their customers first. Ken and Mark were excellent people to work with.

To be honest I was not even considering buying a new car. I went to First Team Toyota to see about some accessories for my husbands new truck. I stopped to talk with Mike McCoy . He treated my husband so well with the purchase with his truck.I saw this beautiful Camry and Nick Vent worked his magic . Bringing my interest rate my old loan down and a payment I could afford, I drove away with an awesome 2021 Camry. Thank you to First Team and the sales and service staff. I took my vehicle in for the required maintenance and was told there was going to be a charge of $$$.$$. Ive never been charged for the required maintenance prior to this. I was informed that after my car hit 25,000 miles my oil changes are free but all the other services that come along with required maintenance are charged. I asked if I could just get the free oil change and take my car elsewhere to have the required maintenance done and I was told no, that if I did that I would lose the free oil changes, Inspections and towing. Do your research before buying a vehicle at these dealerships who offer lifetime anything.

Brought a vehicle from there realized after I took home and backed out the driveway that the camera was messed up. Took back and left it. Came next day they said they had to order camera and it will be here in two weeks. Came two weeks dropped off came back they said camera was on back order to and it won’t be here for another two months to check back. Checked back two months later and I was told it was in route and expected a specific day. I waited two days after that date went up there and they tell me it’s on back order again. So I ask how is a part that was in route on back order again. He said he doesn’t know what happened that now they telling him it’ll be here in another week. It’s been another week and I haven’t heard anything. I called back and they telling me that it’s still on back order. I have never been to a dealer that does this

I needed a newer truck that got better gas mileage. My wife works for First Team and brought me to meet Mike McCoy. he seemed like a professional family man. He was not pushy at all. we at first found a truck I really didnt like but was going to purchase because it was a good deal. Nick Vent the general manager made some calls and got me a great rate with Toyota for a 2021 Tacoma TRD. Love at first sight! The experience was not what I expected but I actually enjoyed my time there. Thank you and I wish there was an extra star button.

Bought a 2020 RAV4 from here last year.Love the vehicle! While parked at a local hospital, the cover of my driver side mirror had been taken. Tina in parts was great about getting a new one ordered.When I inquired of Miranda of someone to help put it on, everyone was just too busy! That’s not good customer service! Thought maybe she would offer since every tech didn’t have minutes to spare.... but that didn’t happen.Luckily Lee/sales saw me struggling to get to attach correctly and took 2 minutes from his busy day to provide excellent customer service and got it to attach.I now know who I’ll work with there and who I will not.

Calling from Raleigh on a Used vehicle. A salesperson was give guidance by the Sales Manager that a newly arrived vehicle has to go through inspection before it can be sold and that deposits are not taken for used vehicles. The deposit was my request yesterday to secure the vehicle while I drove up first thing this morning to arrive when they opened up. Service opens 730, sales at 9.The salesperson explained to me it was their day off but they would make a clear effort to whether the vehicle would pass inspection or by pushed off to auction. I mentioned that when there is a secured buyer that inspections can be go no matter what comes about and I was that buyer and how do I make that clear to all hands on deck that this is not another window-dreamer buyer. Driving down in the night was not a problem. Salesperson was misled. buyer was misled and vehicle sold. Salesperson contacted me on their day off to say they were trying to get word on inspection status.Word on the street is that the demand is just too high to hold anything for 180 minutesI say its lack of professionalism.salesperson was so well spoken and held the ethics of fair handshake.Management could be reminded of simple agreement.

They sold me a car with missing floorboards, the car was in a flood/accident and This dealership denied everything. They put aftermarket jute and didn’t replace the floorboards. DO NOT buy from here. And if you do CHECK EVERYTHING. Toyota did absolutely nothing to help with the situation because the dealership denied it (of course they would) ITS FRAUD!!!!! and the cost to fix everything was 3K! BE WARE. Stay away. Lucky them I don’t have money for lawyers or the story would’ve been different. POS! By the way the car had 150 miles on it, it was “BRAND NEW”. None of that was on car fax.

Bought a 2017 Tacoma SR5 from First Team and they were fantastic. Stacey responded to my internet inquiry at 7:53am (working before they open!) - very polite and respectful, and she set me up for an appointment that same day. Ken the sales rep was very informative and directed my son and I toward what we wanted. Nick the sales manager was a gentlemen - tough but fair negotiator - he knew the pricing in the market and I know I got a great deal. The paperwork was smooth and actually enjoyable. I am VERY happy with my purchase at First Team Toyota. Derick Allen and Mark Self are the two best Sales and F&I guys Ive ever dealt with. Ive been looking for a Ram Rebel for a couple months, scouring autotrader and all the local Dodge dealerships for the right one. To my disappointment they were either overpriced or had ridiculous mileage. I stumbled across this one after it was just traded in and it was perfect! Not only did they give me a great price but the mileage was low and the condition of the truck is as close to perfect as you can get for a used truck. They gave me a great deal but the next day they surprised me with an even better deal with a lower interest rate and monthly payment, who doesnt like to save money?! My overall experience with First Team Toyota was AWESOME. Not only do I highly recommend them but I look forward to doing business with them in the future. THANKS GUYS!!!!!

We had a paid of honda odyssey and were looking to upgrade, but werent in a rush and wanted to find the best deal and the best vehicle for our family. We werent sure if we were sticking with a Honda or going to end up switching vehicle makes and models, so we wanted to shop around. We went to first team and Terrell B. and the general sales manager gave us the best deal upfront and were very kind and genuine. When we went to priority a couple days later after checking out many dealerships and their best deal upfront had no where near the discounts first team had. First team was giving us way more for our vehicle trade in and didnt play the run around game. Priority was 3,000 less for our trade in and even marked up their vehicles over 2,000 past msrp unlike first team. We ended up coming back to first team after doing lots of research about quality of vehicles, best reliable van and SUV, and reviewing consumer reports. We felt confident that when it came to reliability we could trust Honda after owning a van since 2013 with no issues and doing our research on other vehicles and seeing what they lacked. We purchased the Odyssey Elite and are so happy we did. Ultimately, first team won our business for being genuine, kind, upfront in a good way and understanding we needed to do our research and were patient. Will always go here to give them our business from here out.

Just helped my son purchase a used Tacoma. He is a young Navy officer stationed in San Diego and his car died out there. Since he is being relocated to VB, he decided to purchase from First Team, but due to his training schedule, he was unable to buy the truck in person. Each time I setup an appointment and still have to wait for two hours, or longer, to get a oil change. All I get is a excuse that we are running behind each time. This is unacceptable because this is why I make appointments to get in and out as quick as possible. I believe they need to hire more people or not schedule appointments so close together. My time is very important just like theirs. I understand a hour for and oil change to happen but not two hours.

Was told in order to get advertised free oil changes I have to pay for all the other required maintenance. I also have to have their stickers and license plate frame on my car to get free oil changes. What kind of BS is that? I dont get grief from Priority when all I want is an oil change. They tell me all the recommended maintenance and I do it myself and they are ok with that and dont force me to get the work done there at their service center. I would not recommend this place for anything, not even the free state inspections. I would rather go pay someone else to do it than to deal with this places shenanigans. .

My 1 star experience is due to the lack of customer service I received from the receptionist who directs incoming calls at this location. I believe the woman’s name was Peggy. I purchased my vehicle from this dealership just last year.The dealership placed my plates and frames on for me at the time of purchase. Currently, I need to change my plates and frames. I called to receive assistance with this because the fastener caps used on the frames for my car are not easy to remove. Peggy proceeded to ask me “don’t you have someone at home that can help”.If I had assistance why would I call the dealership? At the time I called I did not have assistance and you don’t know or even have to know a persons situation in order to assist them when they need it. Her response to me was rude and condescending. She also stated “I guess I can transfer you to the service department”. Customer service was nonexistent. Not pleased at all.

Worst experience purchasing a vehicle. My husband and I had gone back and forth deciding if this car was manageable for our finances and as I walked back to the bathroom I heard the main financial guy who was working on our deal tell the salesperson if we didn’t purchase the car that evening he would do everything in his power to sell it the next day to someone else. Just made me feel horrible that he would manipulate us like that. Left and bought a car thru first team Kia and had a much better experience. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

The maintenance folks took a while but got the job done right. They also identified and fixed a developing problem with the radiator. The price for the repair was on par with what I expected.When we came in to pick up our vehicle, we decided to browse some others for a potential replacement. Mr Parker immediately came out and greeted us and took us for a test drive in two vehicles we were considering. He knew the answers to every question or found them out for us quickly. Very seriously considering a future purchase here based on our experience.

05 Tacoma had a rusted and recalled frame. Got frame replaced at first team Toyota on western branch blvd September 2015. They told me they test drove the vehicle and it was good to go. Pulling out of the lot I noticed a very loud popping noise when turning left. Took vehicle back in October 2015 and they said it was a body mount which needed adjustment and they fixed it. Leaving the lot after pickup the noise is still there. Took it back December 2015 and they said they couldnt hear it and it was fine and the issue would diagnose itself. Oh great. Took truck in April 2021 and they finally fixed it, they didnt put the truck back together correctly.Days later in December 2015 a transmission cooler fluid line failed spewing fluid everywhere and damaged the transmission. This was a hose I most definitely believe they damaged while reassembling the vehicle, without a doubt. They told me they were not liable even though they reinstalled a partislly dryrotted hose that they themselves damaged which lead to the hose breaking. $3500 was my out of pocket cost to get transmission replaced. They should have taken responsibility for this, instead they did nothing. At the very least they should have notified me and I would have payed for a new hose. Thats not service.May 2019 the vehicle is bogging down and not accelerating smoothly. Take in and they diagnose the problem as a bad combination meter, where the odometer resides. Due to the odometer being in the mix, they said they needed to send the mileage in to the part maker and that I couldnt drive the vehicle until it was fixed as the mileage on the vehicle would not match what they sent in. Was quoted 4 to 5 days on it being fixed. Ok. Week goes by, parts not in. Two weeks, parts not in. Ask for rental, they said I would have to pay out of pocket with no assistance because its not under warranty. Three weeks, a month, 5 weeks, 6 weeks, 7 weeks go by and they still have my truck hostage and say I cant take it or drive it bc they sent in the exact mileage to part maker. When I fought back they told me fine take the vehicle and we just wont fix it. Are you serious? Finally, after 2 months they call me and say, Hey whats the mileage on the vehicle the part maker has it ready and wants to input the mileage? I said, Are you kidding me!?!? The vehicle is in your lot and you told me I couldnt drive it!! So as it turns out, this entire time I could have been driving my vehicle and instead because of their miscommunication with the part maker and pure incompetence they held it telling me I couldnt drive it when in fact I could have driven it the whole time. I lost days of work and had to borrow numerous vehicles from family. Oh and by the way, the original issue still persists so they fixed nothing and wasted my time in the worst way. Also, when I got the vehicle back it had not been cleaned, there was black stuff all over the door and steering wheel and inside where their dirty hands were and the dash had not been put back correctly.

The reason for this 5-Stars review is truly because of my exceptional service advisor, Miss. Miranda Godfrey at the Western Branch location. I typically do not write reviews and when I do it is subsequent of couple months after the service / transaction. I appreciate other reviews which are written after some time has passed, whereby allowing time to observed and write accordingly. Also, this submission is of my own perspective and not in any-way incentivize.October 2020: I took my farely new Car in for a normal scheduled service appointment — what resulted should have been a very vexing situation -- a car w/ less than 8,000 miles. I asked Miss. Miranda to please have her tech take a quick look at my Infotainment System, because it kept blinking on-and-off during my work commute - annoying.  The tech identified what looked to be the issue and ordered the part(s).  Maranda called me in, upon arriving everything was arranged and a courtesy ride to take me home.Later that evening she called; the part did not resolve the issue because the tech was able to replicate the original issue on the post test-drive.  She was aware this was my commuter car -- she asked if I needed a courtesy pick up in the morning.After lunch she called; she ordered a complete USB kit and needed my car for 24-48 hrs.  Without asking, she had a loner cars reserved -- ensured I had transportation on those days.After work, I picked up my car.  Two weeks later the same issue started again, so I left Miranda a VM.   She called back; already started a warranty claim -- pulled my warranty documents, set everything up and had another loner. After drop off, she kept me informed with every decision she was making on my behalf and why. This time, I had the loner for almost a week (included a weekend).  When I returned, the paperwork was ready and my car was pulling up – OUTSTANDING Customer Service (considerate of the customer’s time).Nov, 2020 around Thanksgiving:  The same issue started happening again. I called Miranda, left a VM.  She called back with elation, she had amplifying information regarding why the infotainment was having issues.  She asked which model cell phones I used (iPhone, iPad and Android) and specifically honed in on the Android Note.  Apparently the culprit was the new Note I (intermittingly) used for audio-book listening on longer drives. Miranda didnt push the easy button w/ anther appointment. SHE demonstrate resourcefulness -- isolated a completely new reported phenomena.  Some new Android Models; the charging voltage exceeds the infotainment capacity, subsequently led to my issues -- reason it was difficult to isolate.Jan 2020:  After holidays I used my car again to commute and the same issue started again. However, this time, it happened during bumps on the highway or over speed bump. I called Miranda again and we had a good New Year chuckle. Fortunately it was fairly simple -- manufacture connection in the unit needed to be seated-in further – I was driving my car again the next day.  I have experien no issues since January of 2021.Miss. Maranda knowledge of the process, expected service timeframes and especially resourcefulness (of newly developing issue) like my major electrical work — allowed her to advise on technical / mechanical issues, imparting confidence with every customer centric decisions made. Miss. Miranda has earned my business and my utmost trust in her vehicle acumen.  Moreover, her dedication within a very difficult profession,  dealership customer service.  Another key to her success is Miranda’s EXCEPTIONAL soft-skills.  No matter the situation, she kept me feeling like she (on behalf of the dealership) was doing everything within her power to get my vehicle back to me in a timely manner.  Ultimately, I felt my vehicle remained in good hands and at no point I felt like I was a bother or felt like the ‘heavy-lifting’ was mine to bare alone.THANK YOU MIRANDA!!! YOU have made a typically frustrating/vexing situation very manageable / bearable.

My first car buying experience was a huge success thanks to the hard working team at First Team Toyota! I went in to test drive a used Subaru that I had fell in love with online. I drove away with it that night, gleaming from ear to ear the whole way home.Sherron, a sales associate, was up front yet enthusiastic about helping me figure out a car I could afford with my cash budget. In the end, I was able to work out a deal with Nic, the manager, to drive off with my first big girl car. This is a professional facility with kind and courteous staff who are ready and willing to help in any way possible. The building is equipped with many commodities to help the time you spend here be as pleasant as possible. In the main waiting area there is a TV with two coffee/tea machines. There is also a theater room, a play room for kids, a nail and hair salon, and a gift shop with lots of neat things to take a gander at.

I live about two hours away from First Team Toyota, and Sherron knew exactly what I was looking for in a 2021 Camry XSE. He gave me some other choices so I could see the car in other colors because I did want to have a last look. Sherron got me the car I wanted, and kept me up to date as when the car would arrive. He took very good care of me, and knowing that I had a long drive home, he even helped the man in the back detail the car. First Team Toyota offers competitive pricing and treats its customers with respect.I drove past 2 Toyota dealers to buy our new car from First Team. I chose First Team over other Toyota dealers because of their competitive pricing and because of how they treated us.Because of Covid, the vehicle we wanted was set to arrive a few weeks later. However, even though we had agreed on the price of the car, John (new car sales) and the dealership gave us an extra $1,000 cash back than we were expecting! The cash back incentives had increased by $1,000 by the time our car arrived, and the dealer could have easily pocked that money without us knowing. Instead, when the vehicle arrived, the final paperwork we signed reflected an additional $1,000 savings! It made me happy to interact with honest, nice people like those at Toyota First Team.In our search for a new car there was limited inventory (thanks COVID), so I visited several dealers to try to figure out our options. As soon as I started talking price at other dealers, the tone changed as managers poked their heads out, attempting to use high pressure and good cop/ bad cop tactics to force a sale at a high price. First Team was the opposite. The entire staff was a pleasure to deal with and, as I wrote above, honest about price without the high pressure tactics.Thank you to the people I dealt with at First Team (John, Kenneth, Courtney, Justin and Rick), you guys were great!

I had went into this stealership to buy a used Tacoma with a trade in! All the numbers came back a little high, I stepped out for a 5 min smoke & call my other half to discuss. In that short period of time I came back to the desk of which I had been sitting, and the finance guy came over & I stated ok I’ll go with those numbers. To my surprise this stealership can sell vehicles in 5 minute timeframes! Absolutely unsatisfactory & when I got a call back from the branch manager Nick and told him the situation, and told him I would leave a nice review, he commenced to yelling at me like a little child, so I hung up! Went here on a Saturday evening. Salespeople were nice and accommodating. No one was pushy and listened to what we wanted. As we had already done plenty of research. Found the car with the options we wanted and we were in and out in under 3 hours start to finish. Got a price we could all live with quickly and didn’t have to do a bunch of back and forth. Warranty’s and free stuff I.e. inspections and oil changes were better than Priority Toyota too.

Beware the unadvertised $100 service center diagnostic fee! While not an uncommon fee, this is the first shop Ive ever worked with who didnt advertise it ( looked everywhere for signage), didnt mention it during scheduling, and didnt mention it when discussing service with service tech. When I suggested they not charge me if they didnt communicate properly I was threatened with a lien on my vehicle. There are other shops who do the same work and in a more professional manner.Also, regarding the reply, you have my contact information. Theres nothing keeping your manager from contacting me at their convenience.

Terrible experience! I put down my down payment and everything, came to pick up the vehicle after they told me it was ready. Drove 30-45 mins just for them to say it’s going to be ready tomorrow. So heres my truthful experience at First Team Toyota, no bs!At first I set an appointment at 1 pm to look at a new 2020 RAV 4, when I got there I waited like 5 minutes until someone asked me if Ive been helped and I told him I had set an appointment, he wrote down my name and I waited like 30 min until I told the receptionist that I was trying to talk to a sales associate to look at the vehicles, thats when finally I was helped by Allen Derick, he was extremely professional, helpful and honest. Cool I got a car here and they lured me in to saying oh yeah free oil changes and state inspections. Oil changes are cool you make an appointment and come in. The inspections though.... are rough. Got here 5 minutes after they opened. 705 and there were 4 vehicles already here like omg whyyyyyy. And yeah I basically got told my car will be inspected in about an hour and a half to 2 hours. So fun. Virginia is such a commie state to want us to do these inspections. But whatever atleasd its free. 2 stars cause i gotta wait.

I had my car serviced today and was completely dissatisfied with my experience. First, proper social distancing was not practiced at the service desk. All customers were funneled through the same door and employees did not space customers out to allow for 6 feet between them. No cleaning of commonly touched areas was apparent. One service employee had her mask pulled below her chin when talking with other employees and customers. After my car had been looked at I was called to tell me I needed over $1000 worth of work done. Once I put my husband on the phone, all of a sudden it only needed a lightbulb replaced. We opted for one other service in addition to the oil change and inspection we initially had it in for. We were told that service would be $250 plus $20 for the lightbulb. I walked in to pick the car up and I was told my total was almost $600. When I questioned it I was sent over to the employee who was still not wearing her mask properly. She had all kinds of excuses about how the computer adds charges on all the time. She still came up with a charge of $400. I asked her to break down everything done to the vehicle because this was not what I was expecting. She got frustrated by this request and went through the list stating they charged me for the state inspection. I informed her I had been a customer there for 3 years and had never been charged. Rudely she informed me that they only do that for vehicles purchased there. We finally settled on appropriate charges for my service. When I got home with the vehicle I saw a giant screw driven into the tire. Obviously I was upset. I called and spoke to manager and provided him all of these details. He took my information and told me he would speak to the service department and call me right back. 3.5 hours later and still no response. I will be finding another service center for my vehicle in the future. First Team clearly does not care about the safety of their customers and are all about gouging customers for unnecessary services.

They both looked at three different cars and was offered to test drive them. If they didn’t like the car Mr. Ligot didn’t put any pressure on them to buy. He just simply said “No problem let me see if I can find you another car that will be the right fit and in your budget.” They both drove off with big smiles on their faces because they left that day with the exact car they had in mind. I went to this dealership because it is closer to where I live and I was nearing the end of my former Toyota vehicle lease (thru another dealer) so I was starting to look around. I still had a few weeks before the lease ended and my intent was to look at Toyota options and also visit other dealerships before making a final decision. Service by Derrick and others at First Team was outstanding and I did not once feel pressured. I test drove what I requested but after talking with them they suggested a test drive of a second vehicle which is a Highlander Hybrid.
