My experience was great although I didnt need to use the service. The manager was honest and offered a great alternative for my situation although it meant the business wouldnt have been with them. I can confidently say they will be my choice in the future.

Been there a few times for different things. Theyre hit and miss with being able to stick to a schedule or complete the job right. Better than most places, but room for improvement.

Just a heads up don’t go based on the time they tell you one of the worst experiences I ever had with an auto shop no one even spoke to me the first 10 minutes I was there and when they finally noticed me the lady in the front desk greeted me with a nasty attitude I waited about an hr and left without any services because she had told me it’ll just be about a 20 minutes wait

They did my oil change today and looked over my car, they were kind and Helpful, and explained everything I need done! Super quick too! Dustina, the manger, was very polite and was able to multiple task very well as she was handling me and other customers, plus phone calls at the same time 10/10 will return for work!

Friendly and fair with a good following. Any mechanic with regulars that know the crew is an honest place. The showroom is clean and organized. The shop is much the same. Dont let the area around it fool you it is a reputable place.

Very poor service. Have been taking many vehicles for years. Recently got jeep inspected on 3.13.21 They slapped sticker on car. Finally corrected Tire pressure sensor after 4 yrs. And sent me on my way after stating they have problem removing my lugs becuz stripped... mind you by firestone and they are or were my main mechanic. I took to Dollar Dons on 3.23.21 who advised me back brakes seized and very paper thin brake pad in front left and needed rotors as rusted and crumbling. Hoping this reaches their corporate offices. Thruway office branch.

Called to get an oil change. They told me to come on down. Showed up 15 minutes later and they informed me they couldnt get me in until next Friday.

I went there to get my tire fixed and my A/C checked. The worker on the phone let me know there would be a wait so I’d need to drop off the car, and they stayed late afterwards so that I could pick up my car. I also didn’t realize that either a passenger or I must have hit the A/C button, so there wasn’t actually any issue with the A/C — the workers were very honest in letting me know that. They could’ve made something up because obviously I didn’t realize, but they chose honesty, so I’ll definitely be taking my business here again. I’ve had a flat in my tire before and the charge was about the same as it cost at a different auto shop in NYC.

Aside from the $3200 quote to fix non engine non transmission non collision issues id say its a decent spot to get a NYS inspection

This is probably the best location Ive been too. Terry went above and beyond for me. Not only to he take care of me right away he walked me through step by step to apply for the Firestone credit card. I was able to get my alignment, tires, oil change and inspection in little over an hour.i highly recommend asking for Terry when you go in.

Told me me car would right in and may take 1hr. So I left for an hour come back my car is in the se spot I left it. 20min later still there. People came in after me. Never again.

Very good but they need help. Had a appointment was on time. Was told because we are short staffed it was going to be three hours before they could get to me. Wasnt very happy about that, but they worked it out and my wait time was only 30 minutes. Will be going back to have my car winterize. Very pleased with the work they did.

Super friendly. I have a Long lasting relationship with the company not this facility and i walked in as if i had been a customer in this building for years. Accomidated my request listened to my rant when i was clearly wrong about a complaint. The gentleman i spoke with immediately moved into a solution and was apologetic. The people were all efficient. The location is clean warm and comfortable while you wait! Dont wait check them out!

I had a scheduled oil change appointment, and after waiting for 1.5 hours I had to leave. The service reps at the desk didnt seem to care either! So I ended up going to their competitor Valvoline down the street. They took care of me within 15 minutes! I paid more, but its worth it if you value your time, and appreciate good customer service.

Some of the worst customer service and treatment I have received was from this location and the company in general.Spent over 6 hours between 2 days and 3 visits. Went to have 2 leaky tires fixed, left to find out my car shook violently when driving over 50.Returned to have it fixed, the man insisted there was something wrong with my car, we insisted they didn’t properly balance my tires. After balancing them and charging me AGAIN. I left to find out they STILL DID NOT fix the problem. Returning immediately an argument ensued where my boyfriend told them to rebalance the tires and when they did they then found out that not only had they not properly balanced them, but they also broke the tps valve inside my tire and it was rolling around.They had to fix it and I never received an apology.I then contacted the main company, was told I would be contacted within 48 hours. 2 and a half weeks later still hadn’t heard from them, sent another email, was told the same thing. It’s now been over 3 weeks and I will never use this company again. Awful customer service all throughout.

Dustina reached out to let me know they had earlier availability than my scheduled appointment. Then they completed my state inspection in record time - I was in and out in less than thirty minutes! Excellent service and Ill keep coming back!

What can I say, my tire was irreparably damaged and it cost me a lot to get a set of 4 (the others were nearly bald too so I might as well) the clerk was helpful, understanding, and considerate, making the process a bit easier for me. It did take longer than they anticipated but not a big deal, I also added an oil change to the services so that was probably what messed up the time estimate. Free wifi, and coffee so that was nice.

Been going to Firestone for about 12 years. The work is always done right the first time and thats why I go but recently their hourly rate has gotten out of hand. Dont think Im going to continue going.

Worst experience ever. Ordered tires online through my job. Called the day prior to my appointment to make sure the tires were there and we were all set and was assured that the tires were in stock and that we were all set for the next day @ 4:30. Arrived to my appointment the next day 5 minutes early, checked in and was told that they were running a little behind that there would have my new tires on by closing which was 7 pm. My girlfriend picked me up and we went out for dinner. While at dinner I got a call that instead of having my 4 tires they only had 3 tires in stock that it wouldn’t be until the next day until they would have another tire. Meanwhile,I forgot to add that I travelled 40 miles to this location to have my tires installed . So, I had to leave my truck there over night because they had already had my truck up in the air with no tires on it. My girlfriend had to drive me 40 miles home and spent the night with me so that she could take me back to the shop the next day. To make matters even worse, I had to beg them for a discount for their mistake. The guy looked at me like I was crazy. I did my part and called the day before my appointment and was assured that the tires were there . This was the worst experience ever. I will never patron with them again ever and would not recommend anyone else either. This is already a long review but when I first checked in another customer had a similar experience to mine. What should’ve taken 30 minutes tops ended up taking 2 days 🤯😡🤬

My family and I were traveling and had a tire blow, bent the rim. We were worried about keeping on schedule and really needed help. Had a great experience and the prices were good. Kevin was the man who waited on us. He made sure we got on the road and to my sisters wedding ON TIME. Wonderful place

I paid for the alignment lifetime deal and it felt funny calling on Christmas eve at eleven A.M. he said can you be here at two? Now THATS customer service! So NOT expected, I thought they would say booked till after the holidays....he said you dont need any documentation just bring in the vehicle your information is in the system!! Service was awesome..even took the time to make a recommendation that would save me hundreds down the line. Great job guys

Anthony and his team are awesome! There was little mix up with my tires, that was not their fault, but they kept me informed and helped me through the process which resulted in them saving me money. Also, he was very honest and polite, customer service is at 1,000%! I quote Id rather you keep coming back and getting a good experience than you getting everything done at once and we dont see you. Hes definitely building trust with his customers and I definitely will bring my car back to be serviced! Highly recommended!

These guys were great they they did not criticize me for my driving mistakes and had me laughing the entire time. I waited for my vehicle coffee and TV what more can you ask. ANd you can see them as they work. And they approved my credit so I got all my safety issues taken care of.

My experience with this place has been disappointing. They didnt secure my vehicles oil cover and lost some screws to it, so it was scraping along the ground within a week. Another occasion, they replaced brake pads but tried to upsell my girlfriend on some rotors we KNOW we didnt need. Tried to treat her like a dummy I guess. (We were alerted to the need for brakes beforehand by another garage where we were getting snow tires. This garage told us the rotors were fine we just need pads. Even recently had an oil change elsewhere and they also said the rotors were still fine). Any work they do will include the highest possible quote and if you dont ask them about other options you will walk out of there paying more than you planned. Avoid these hustling weasels...

Ive been a Customer Member since 1986. Had my ups and downs throughout times but, we have kept a great relationship. They have always treated me fair and consistent with prices and discounts. I recommend them with pride.

Made an appointment for an oil change for 4pm. It took 2 hours and I did not leave until 6 pm. I understand the mechanics are working on other projects, but the scheduling system should not exist if appointments arent actually followed. It was a big waste of time, especially after working all day and having to spend 2 hours sitting somewhere for something that does not take that long.

If I could rate them less than a 1 star I would !! I made an appointment to get my tire fixed. It was covered under my warranty which is why I went there instead of my normal shop. I got there 3:50p. 10 minutes early. As people are coming and going I still sit there waiting while my car is still parked outside. They finally took my car into the bay at 535! An hour and a half AFTER my appointment!! Fine. After getting my car into the bay it took him another hour to fix the tire. And when I booked the appointment i was told it would only take about 30 to 45 minutes yet i sat there and waited 2 and a half hours. I finally got my car back at 6:25. There customer service is good but the business itself Is terrible. Now i am late to work because of this. Not pleased.

Terry is the worst mechanic and front desk service that you will ever experience, he will lie to you and laugh it off in your face, VALVOLINE IS BETTER. Took 5 hours to change my wipers and oil change and kept me waiting inside without any notice of time length.

Had car alignment done here they did a great job. Tire repair is $21 vs much higher at other places.

Do not come to this location for an oil change. I came in a day before to make an appointment for an oil change because they had to order parts. Here I am 2 hours later and they still do not have the correct parts. They have changed the oil on my car at this location 2 times before. Now all the sudden they claim they need to see the car to determine what oil filter is needed? This place is falling apart and I can see why. Excuse after excuse. I give this location another 6 months before it closes based on my experience today. Last time. Thanks for wasting my time.

They get upset and give an attitude when you decline a service that you dont want to do. Why the hell would i pay 15 bucks for wipers replacement when I can do it myself? 3 stars because the price on tires are good.UpdateThey offered mount and balance 70$ cheaper than anywhere else at around 84$. The service advisor was an nice guy who didnt push sales on me. I wont buy service for such expensive prices. I will come in for little things like balance alignment and mounting etc. So I appreciate when they dont force sales on me.

Always friendly, professional service received @ the Firestone Thruway Plaza location. Never try to push services, upfront & honest about work needing completed, solid staff of mechanics. Have great prices on tires, all 3 of my cars/SUVs have Firestone/Bridgestone tires. Also have lifetime alignment service on my vehicles, they get me in/out promptly. Always recommend friends & family to this location, never heard a complaint. Proudly been a customer @ Thruway Plaza location since 1994.

With waiting around 5 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge me when I had my appointment at 10:00am and a worker saw me looked at me in the lobby and left back to the shop, waiting until another one comes. Finally someone checks with me and what she told me is it’s going to be a few hours before they could get to me. I made an appointment at 10 not at 1 so I’m confused. Went to Niagara at other firestone and appointment at 11 they actually got me in within 15 minutes.Don’t make an appointment here and assume you will get in here, only location ever that’s had you wait hours even with an appointment.

I called set up an appointment and discussed prices and brands of tires. When I picked up my car they installed off brand tires and not what we agreed to. I love their lifetime wheel alignment though. Update to my review. Changed from 2 stars to 1 star after todays visit .I checked in at 9:56am and checked out at 1:47pm thats basically 4 hrs of my life gone even after I made an appointment 2 days before for 10am! Oh let me not forget to mention how they placed the 2 front new tires in the front! They should have been placed on the rear any professional tire shop would know that.

I have been going here for 3+ years. On my second set f tires (I drive a lot). This group treats me like family, always taking care of what is needed and provides a complete picture of long term. I like that. I am always advised of available promos and they prove to be competitive priced. Most important to me however is quality, Anthony and Joe earn their 5 stars all the time. Seriously, give them a try.

I had an appointment with them today, Eric ( receptionist) said( he is a nice guy) they are unable to work on my car because they do not have enough people today. He told me they will do an inspection on my car and let me know what work I need to do on it. He took my keys, after waiting 25 minutes my car was the next on the line I noticed another ‘gentleman’ working there put another car keys on top of my keys. it means now I have to wait more. It was very disappointing. I waited a little, asked for my keys and left.

Have dealt with this store for more than 25 years and have never had a problem, would not take my vehicles anywhere else.

Made an appointment 1 week in advanced. They didnt take any of our information down and had to drive to depew to pick up my tires when we arrived. (what was the point of making an appointment?) While I was waiting for them to finish, I got a phone call from the technician who said there was absolutely NO oil in my car and wanted to do an oil change. I declined ($120 an hour for labor? No way.) Checked my oil when I got home and its totally full, it didnt even need a change. Not taking appointments is one thing, but having your mechanics lie to the face of a customer? No way will I be coming back .

Joe and team really helped me out today. I am a business owner and my vehicle was down due to a flat tire. I stopped in and explained that I need my vehicle so I could go to an appointment and they jumped right on it and got my tire repaired! Very thankful and I will remember that.

I needed a new battery and after making a few calls decided on this Firestone location primarily because of how well I was treated on the phone by Dave Pilger, the Sevice manager.Not only is he friendly, hes also knowledgeable, courteous,respectful of and passionate about taking care of customers.I witnessed interactions with others including employees while I was there and everyone was treated this way.Im not usually a fan of large chain operations especially for auto service. Dave changed my mind and I will go back if I need service in the future.I would recommend Dave to anyone needing auto products and services at this location.

I bough 4 new tires & they give $100 off but you have to apply for cradit card & then gift card sent to your home. Its complicated. Customer likes easear way. Whats wrong instant discount? They charged tire balance & didnt fixed alignment. Its suppose to free everywhere. Two times I had to go for alignment check, there system down. Not able give me printout, coz printer not working. One time business, no more, thanks.

I had a bad experience. I went for break pads replacement and unfortunately they said I needed more than break pads replacement. They estimated the fix in $600+. Unfortunately I declined the services and I find their responds rude and disrespectful. I took my car to another mechanic and they confirmed that I only needed break pads replacement. I saved myself a lot of money!

First time coming here, last, experience was frustrating. I was there for an inspection, made an appointment for 930 and I was 10 minutes early, yet they didnt take my vehicle back until 1017AM. There were 3 other customers in the building at this time, so it was frustrating to be forced to wait over an hour for an inspection that generally only takes a place 20 minutes. I also had to go up to the counter and ask if they were done yet, as they had my van just sitting there after inspection and they left it sitting there to go work on someone elses car. As soon as I asked if my inspection was complete they pulled the van to the front and cashed me out. All in all I was there for 2 hours on a day that wasnt busy, so I shudder to think of how long it would take if they actually get busy.

Repeat customer. Most repairs reasonable price. Technicians knowledgable. Have had a few cases where something was missed. returned and it was dealt with at no charge. They try make customer a return. Would like to do labour only on some jobs and supply parts myself, but that is against policy .

I needed an inspection and an oil change. The man in front of me also came for a inspection. They told him they were very busy come back tomorrow and they would give him $20 off for the inconveniences. The same mechanic named George told me he could not schedule me for 4 days because the car inspector was not there until Tuesday. Do you think Im deaf or dumb? Drove down the street to Delta Sonic for gas and saw an inspection sign out front. They told me it was too late today but they would reopen the next day at 0800 AM. I went back the next morning and was taken care of.

After making an appointment and confirming they had the tires I wanted in stock I ended up waiting over 3 hours to not even get the tires I requested. The manager was extremely rude and did nothing to assist in correcting their mistake other than blame corporate. Worst customer service Ive ever had at a Firestone.
