Dr. Gallien and the team at Smiles of Chattanooga are the best! Every time I need dental work done they fit me into their busy schedule and make sure I stay comfortable throughout the procedure. They always make sure I’m perfectly numb and check in with me frequently. Patient care is excellent! Today Lacey took care of me. She is always so sweet and really detail oriented. She made sure my new future crown and temporary crown shade matched my other teeth, which important to me. Outstanding work by this team of dental professionals! Will be returning whenever I need dental work.

My name is Peter Kittle and I had a very extensive surgery done by Dr. Gallien. I had to have a tooth removed that never came down on its own. They also had to create a bone graft for the implants. The idea of oral surgery really made me nervous. Not only was the procedure painless and easy with the sedation, but I was in no pain the next day or any of the days following the procedure! I was truly amazed with Dr. Gallien and his assistant Cindy. They took such good care of me and I felt like I was in good, safe hands the whole time. I recommend this practice to everyone!

This is a hidden nugget just off Highway 58. The staff is nice and courteous. I usually do not have a long wait time for service when I go. I had to have a procedure and the medication worked fast and effective. I would recommend this place.

They are friendly until you have an issue with the work they do or question how long the work they do should last. They put resin on my sons front tooth. It lasted 8 months and cracked-only 8 months! It cost me $1000. When I took him back they said sometimes it just doesnt last too long and then they gave me a $4000 estimate to do 11 pre fillings, 1 crown and redo the resin that wasnt done properly the first time.Thankfully, I went and got a second opinion. My son did not need 11 pre fillings or a crown. He got a simple $50 filling-no $2000 crown needed and he got the cracked resin done correctly and the best part, I even got a 3 year guarantee on it! The dentist will fix it at his cost, not mine! That is a confident dentist!! It was all done on one visit instead of creating several visits. This has been several months ago now and everything is still great. I was so pleased with the honesty of the new dentist.Smiles creates work to make money. It is not about the patient, sadly, it is about the cash flow. When they told my son he needed 11 pre fillings, he left in tears because 6 months before that, they told him he only had one cavity in the back and needed a crown.I was not going to rate this dentist because I am happy with our new dentist and will not be back to Smiles. But after thinking more and reading the negative experiences, I feel I need to voice mine as well. I am sure there are many more but people may just move on and not do a ratings. I would suggest to always get a second opinion-always. Smiles will tell you they are the best and use the highest quality of supplies and on and on and on, but please get second opinions. Any type of provider should always encouraged patients to do so.

I just had a filling put in and it was painless and didn’t take near as long as I thought it would. The staff are incredibly nice and professional as well.

The approach Smiles takes is emotionally manipulative and aggressive to say the least. When presented with a plan for treatment it is always the most elaborate and even the best of insurance only partially covers their treatment plan. I believe this in part due to method, and in part due to the fact that much of what they offer is unnecessary. In the end, after multiple consultations with many other dentists, I decided to leave Smiles for more transparent, and honest communication.That being said, if you are willing to spend over and beyond what is needed, and you enjoy an overly attentive, slightly pushy atmosphere this office is full of kind and well intended people.I just needed honesty, and not a song and dance. I need to see a good dentist and not feel like I’m constantly being sold a time share.

Great experience! After 1.5 years of not seeing a dentist, I was not looking forward to the dentist, but the doctors and staff at Smiles made it so enjoyable. I felt very comfortable and even with the filling I needed they made the experience as comfortable as possible - Blankets, noise cancelling headphones with Netflix, and attention & care throughout. You cant go wrong here - everyone is friendly and very attentive to your feelings and needs.
