I love the engery that the staff gives the customers when they shopping or coming into the store. Mrs. Kathy is very sweet and she always interacts with her customers and she knows her customers by name always have a smile on her face never rude

Staff was rude so I told them never mind I will go somewhere else and they laughed and said they didnt care.

Can use some cleaning but other than that the place is fine to wash clothes. Pretty laid back. People mind they business.

The place was a mess. The employees that were there were lazy and could care less about you.

Not enough staff. Only one girl there. I felt sorry for her because it was consistantly busy and her register kept messing up so she was doing her best to jump back and forth between 2 registers to keep the line going. Manager wasnt even there. The girl called her from her cell phone and the manager said she was on her way, but the girl was still alone when she shouldnt have been. She did a very good job under pressure.

I really like this dollar general store like most tho it needs some organization but the staff is friendly and fast very good store

They often lock the doors quite a bit before 9. I’ve been multiple times to try to grab toilet paper 10-15 min before 9 but they lock the doors and see you there but ignore you.

Visited a Chattanooga,TN location as I needed a few things & wanted to check out any post Christmas sale items. I found what I needed & a few great deals along the journey through the store. It was early morning so they were busy stocking the shelves as well. I found it a very productive trip & the clerk was friendly & helpful. Thank you & God bless.

Out of stock on alot of stuff majority of the time

Books and records was what i was looking for. I was happy with the prices. The employees were nice. I plan to trade some items for a store credit next time. I have books, new box games, and a xbox 360 to trade. I want to get my daughter one of their monster high dolls.

The staff is great at all the locations I have visited . But as a consumer sometimes I make calls to certain stores about item before I make a trip . Ive called dollar general 5 times in the course of a day at 2 different locations and not one store has answered the phone . So I decided to go in to not this one but one less than 10miles and the staff their was very unknowledgeable of discounts going on and I was charged for an item that was suppose to be free based off the sale that was for today 😑. ( I only posted on this store because I just recently tried to call again after a the bad encounter with me being charged for an item at the other store and still no answer ) . Its still business hours , I can hold if your busy , I dont mind giving my name and number and waiting for a call back . I work in costumer service so I know but just completely not answering when consumers like myself call is crazy and bad communication .

DO NOT GO TO THIS DOLLAR GENERAL LOCATION.The old lady that is a Manger unfortunately, yelled and screamed at me and threatened to call police because i told her 3 times to load a paypal card a certain amount because of the 3.95 fee, she did not listen to me at all, i was very respectful and did not get the respect back. Im suprise they let people at that certain age to be manger due to the fact she is setting her ways.

This place is very convenient to where I stay. I can pretty much find anything I want here.

Peaceful shopping. Not an overcrowded store. But you have to speak to staff first most of the time if you are a person of color. But I wont let that take away the fact I like to shop dollar general in my neighborhood.

Usually have what I need only stocking is everywhere boxes galore. Isles are very slim hard to walk through with buggy forget turning around !

That particular dollar general has the friendliness staff with the upmost hospitality. The customer service is outstanding. I go there for many products and the way they treat me as soon as I enter the store.

Good store got alot to choose from prices are pretty fair and if you dont shop there.. They may suprise you with the selection..

McCallie Ave. Great selection. No cluttered aisles.The largest, and cleanest Dollar General in the area. Even the parking lot is clean.

Dollar General Stores imo are going down. They never have what I go in there for and the shelves are always empty and boxes are always in the isles. And this is the same for quite a few stores around town.

Time of year, a little picked over. Decent value at a good price.

Only giving a 3* instead of 2* is because of the girl running the register being very helpful and kind not letting any other customers be before helping with the one already in question. Very much a plus with customer service.The other reasons to why the lowered grade.I will keep in mind it was around payday for many, but.... this isnt the reasons to why.This particular Store in the chain was in such disarray, unorganized, and sloppy stocking.These reasons alone will cause me not to return. I know of others (my usual few) I will stop. I will pass by one or more to go to these because they know how to run a retail store and training of employees and or hiring ones that know.Its very frustrating to enter a store knowing what you are planning to buy only for it to be a maze of a visit leaving with items forgotten because you have your mind set on one item thats hard to find, not being where it should be.Other frustrations... Prices with items with different sales.... Forget It. Everything is All in One Big pile. I hated to say. Maybe if there were a person working the floor, stocking (isles full of boxes to open and stock), put merchandise where belongs, make sure sale items Are ready to be just that & marked. ALL other in its place and not strown all over the store. Two people working during my visit Can Not do their job and this other.Seems to me the DM and the store manager Dont have any concerns with these concerns and more.I now after giving this Particular Dollar General ... I give a 2*... One for the cashier and one to give this rating.I Blame the store and district managers for this very sloppy and mess of a DG. Hopefully you will be able to get it together soon.

The cashier was very helpful in assisting with pricing. There was a minimal wait time.
