They operate like a well-oiled machine! 😉 Teamwork seems to be the name of the game. Everyone was busy doing something without waiting around to be told what to do. They were like a swarm of bees around our car while rotating our tires, changing our oil, installing new wiper blades, changing air filters, and adding deferential oil. This location always treats me well. They are quick with their work, and the get you in and out in a timely fashion. The technicians are also very thorough in any other recommended services your engine might need. All around, they do great work here and have great customer service. Highly recommend

I had a coupon to add refrigerant to my cooling system in my truck. When I showed up the explained what was going to be done what the total would be and they proceeded to hook up and add the refrigerant. After a while the technician started up my car and my air conditioner with still not blowing cold air. He determined that the clutch was not operating properly and they couldnt help me out there was no charge for this service and he advised me on a shop to take my vehicle. Very good customer service even though they didnt fix my car it was something they couldnt fix.

Ive had my vehicles serviced here probably fifty times at least since they opened many years ago. The workers are always very polite and most seem to move quickly. The problem with the business model is that they employees dont seem to stay very long, and they tend to be young. My most recent experience, I could see from my drivers seat under the raised hood into the motor area of my car. After the oil change, I noticed that the technician didnt make any effort to reattach the motor/battery covers, etc., and then closed my hood and told me to start the car to pull out. I got out and politely asked him to raise the hood and reattach the covers, which he did. Ive wondered in the past about a cracked air filter intake and a stripped oil plug. I just feel more comfortable with a dealer or a regular, seasoned, reputable mechanic. I tend to view Valvoline as an option to use if I cant make anything else work. I dont have a similar level of confidence here as I would with a regular mechanic or a dealer who specializes in the make of car that I own. Maybe its just me.

DONE USE VALVOLINE!! They try to up-sell you on everything. A bottle of oil is like $30 TOPS, what is the other $70 for? And charge way too high. I went in for a simple oil change and they ran me $100 and convinced me to get synthetic when my car usually doesnt use synthetic. They wanted to replace my coolant, transmission fluid and all sorts of things! Im no expert but at least i knew enough to not do all of that. Imagine how many people they are scamming!! Find a mechanic please, its not worth the convenience

Had my oil changed 3 months ago and I decided that $120 is to much so my husband was gonna change it.. when it came to getting the filter out it was impossible so I called and asked if they could just change filter. She informed me she could so I drove 25 mins to Valvoline waited 30 in line for her to the. Come back to car after telling me again they could do it.. lets me know now I have to pay for my oil change again there for them to help me... I will never recommend a place that lies to customers

Arrived and was greeted very kindly and was told I would only be waiting 5 minutes for my oil change. After the vehicle infront of me left they closed the doors on me and went on break without informing me. Waited about 30 minutes before deciding to leave. I may have even stayed if they had told me they were taking a break, extremely unprofessional employees. I will never go back and will make sure no one else I know does either.

Went for an oil change with my 2016 Suburban.After the oil change my battery was dead and my car wouldnt start.The manager Matt acted like it was my fault.Now,4 days after the oil change,my battery drains itself overnight.When Valvoline checked my battery they said everything is ok with the it..I never had battery problems with the car!No apology no nothing.And I spend 136$(!) for the oil change.I have to bring my car to the Chevy dealer to get the problem resolved.

Came near closing to get oil changed and I expected to be rushed because I understand workers are tired and ready to go home at end of day but these guys took their time and promptly changed my oil and aired my tires up and made me aware of other maintenance issues that needed to be taken care of in future. Thank you for being so nice and kind and I will definitely be back!

For years, I’ve been coming here for our cars’ basic maintenances and repairs. They’re very quick, honest, friendly, and professional. I recently made a visit due to an oil leak. The staff quickly took care of it. They even took the time out to demonstrate how to identify certain issues and proper oil checks. Shout out to Jose-Luis and Courtney for going above and beyond. Terrific as always. I can do a lot of things myself, when it comes to vehicles. There are some things that are easier to let someone else do. Oil changes are one of those things. They change the oil, top off all the other fluids, sir up the tires, and give you many other recommendations based on your vehicle and mileage. Pretty handy when its not always on your mind.

Efficient. And unlike most others these guys didnt try telling me I needed things that I didnt.

Its been a bout a month now but better late than never because I cant say enough good things about this shop and the employees. Jacob was extremely helpful and spent 3 hours working really hard on my car and even fixed my ac for me that was acting up. i ended up calling my buddies to come by and he hooked them up too. If you need your car taken care of, go here and ask for Jacob. Hes very knowledgeable and seemed like he really enjoyed his job and taking care of customers. I wasnt expecting such great treatment or even employees that knew much about my car but he really knew what he was doing and went above and beyond for me. I cant recommend enough!

DO NOT take your car to Valvoline. Technicians will destroy car and lie about camera footage.Ive had to replace a water pump fuel. Now Im facing over 1,000 in repairs due time belt damage. As mentioned to corporate, area manager Jacob Dean, and their legal team Kristie Spencer. Mechanic that evaluated my car proved there was no oil in car. Be wise! This company is not to be trusted with your vehicle or your wallet. You will leave with numerous damages by unprofessional, unskilled, and dishonest technicians and management. I was told that my claim was denied. After submitting all recipets including print out showing that VALVOLINE indicated my car has no issues. No check engine light. No washer fluid issues were reported either.Recently took car for a simple oil change. Technicians gave my car good report. As a result of their services I had a broken washer fluid pump and check engine light came on. Spent over $300 in damages and repairs. To no avail. I received no support or accountability from Valvoline. Contacted Corpoarte Headquarters.

I came to have my oil changed and ended up needing help with a tire. I am 6 months pregnant so its basically impossible to do. An employee tried to help me but was reprimanded by his boss and told not to. Think the Bosses name was D??? He wasnt doing much of anything but complaining and walking around looking annoyed. I normally love coming here but this left a bad taste in my mouth. Hope next experience isnt like this.

They are extremely thorough, I went just for an oil change and they checked my battery, tire tread, air filter transmission fluid, headlights, high beams, rear lights, break lights and more.

This place gave me the worst experience of my life. I came on June 9th 2020 “my birthday” because I needed an oil change before I leave town to celebrate. I told the man that as well, I also told him that the last time I got an oil change it was a bad experience and that they didn’t even have a filter for me and the guy laughed and said that would never happen there . And told me it would take 15 minutes. Well after 48 minutes and 3 people tell me there sorry for the wait they didn’t have my filter how ironic? Well after 48 minutes they come and tell me they are not able to do my oil change and they are sorry for making me wait an hour to tel me they can’t do it’ then offer me 50% off if I ever come back???!! I told him if he knew anything about customer service he would offer me a complementary oil change to get me as a repeat customer as I just moved to the area and would have been back multiple times. Never will I use this company again. HORRIBLE

The only thing I dont like about valvoline is that they try to upsell you on certain things and also make things sound more serious than they really are.

The technician left screws out of my skid plate and it came off right after the oil change and claimed it was not their responsibility.

It does seem like a huge premium to pay almost $50 in labor for a synthetic oil change but if you arent aware, you can find coupons on their website to help the costs. I guess $50 beats the hour I would take me to do it, eh? It was also nice that they werent overly pushy. They knew my air filters and windshield wipers didnt need to be replaced so they didnt ask after they checked. Great location.

These guys are top notch. My SUV is a bucket of bolts and burns oil between changes. I go in and they top it off with oil and recheck my fluids like Im family. Today they helped me out by draining oil that I had over filled when I was too lazy to check the stick. If they do this much to keep my old tank on the road imagine what they can do for a new vehicle.

I was driving by and saw that there was no one there and the gentlemen working were outside so I swung in to ask a quick question. I had recently been to the Valvoline in Ooltewah and about a week later my low-oil light went on. Two of them came out to my parked car—one hopped in the driver’s seat to reset the button and another one opened up my hood and checked my oil level, just to be sure it was all good. They were so kind and helpful!

The guys were nice but not as thorough as should have been. They told us they cant touch my daughter in laws car to do an oil change because it was over heating. We went there for an oil change. The problem was she had no oil in her car and as soon as I put enough in the reservoir to the correct level, all of her overheating and hot gauge issues disappeared.

They chose the most expensive oil that wasnt even appropriate for my car type/mileage. I just checked it and my car is a quart low after 2 WEEKS. I get that its my bad for not being super knowledgable about the oil types available, but geez, I know they are! I learned my lesson and definitely wont be coming back. $90 for a useless oil change.Thanks for taking advantage of me, valvoline.

Very, very slow! I always go to Hwy 153, and they are professional and FAST. This location (Hamilton Place) is taking entirely to long. The young guys “working” are just standing around looking outside and at me. A professional African American male from the other bay (maybe the manager), saw me waiting and came to the car and said it may be 20 more minutes, do to the service being performed on the truck in front of me. It would have been nice if one of the other young men working in this bay (truck) would have took the time to let me know what was going on 15 mins ago.

I’ve been going to Valvoline for years and I’ve never had such an unprofessional experience. The 4 men that we’re working on my car took 30 minutes to complete my oil change. Not only did they take an unnecessary amount of time, but they made me turn on my car without oil in it and push it because they weren’t paying attention to wear the line was in the station. I will not be returning to this Valvoline and I hope no one else has this kind of experience.

I was pleased with my experience today as I left the lot. Team was kind, quick and pleasant. But when I reached the mall and parked I had to clean oily handprints from the hood and front bumper. Smh. I also thought the steering and tires were not right. Before reaching home (8 miles) my tire pressure light was on. I knew they “checked my tires” and I even thought I heard air escaping but had no idea they were releasing air from my tires. I had just had air checked and car washed before making this stop. My air pressure recommendation posted on the VIN plate is 39psi. ALL 4 tires had been deflated to 32-34psi. I’m thankful for warm, dry conditions on my way home, but not sure I will return to this location. That was uncalled for and unprofessional to guess what the pressure should be.

This location has taken care of my cars for the last 5 years... This was by far the best experience I had had at the location. New staff! and they were awesome... I brought in a used car I had just purchased the day before... they found multiple issues with the engine including a dry-rotted Serpentine belt. The mechanic; Darnell, who changed it out encouraged me to go back to the dealer. I did, and the dealer reimbursed me for the repairs. Most people would not have been so conscientious! I apologize for the length, but its a must read!This was my first and last time going to Valvoline Hamilton Place. My usual place was closed And I needed to have my oil changed before leaving on a road trip the next day.The wait time was extremely long. But, it was a Saturday. A lady greets me and I ask how much for an oil change. She couldnt tell me until all the information is entered into the system. Really?? Ive never been told this before. But, I proceed due to the fact I need it done today. First clue to leave....I finally make it into the bay! The same lady that greeted me and did all the pre checks began to enter my information into the system. All of a sudden a man tells her to stop what she doing and go to work under the hood with another guy and he came over to take her place.Once again, I ask about the cost. He proceeded to tell me that my oil change was going to be about $60 & some change. I asked him did that include an extra quart oil and DEXOS brand of oil that my vehicle requires. He gets a strange look and his face and asks me if my name was (lets say) John Doe ? I replied, No, it is not!Then I look up at the screen and saw that the information he was quoting me was for a Ford Mustang! I drive a Chevy SUV. Somehow the lady had entered the wrong vehicle and name. My name was in no way close to the name she entered.So, he starts yelling at the lady who is now under my hood. Tells her that she has to pay close attention to what she is doing. Because the wrong oil was almost put in this vehicle.Oh and by the way, the price was no longer $60 its $20+ more! Ok... I should have really left at this point. Always listen to that inner voice.As all of this is going on, two vehicles in the next bay have come and gone while Im still sitting there waiting on these people to figure out what how to do what they do all day every day.After, way to much time they finally complete the oil change. I drive 5 mins down the road and I smell something burning. So, I go directly home and park it in my garage. My husband comes home to inspect it and he could not believe what he saw! There was a puddle of oil on the ground, oily hand prints on my hood & on the side of my WHITE car, and oil spilled all over my engine. I was livid. I paid $84 for this!The next morning I go back over there to speak with the manager. Lo and behold who was there? The same young lady from the day before. She cleaned my engine and hood. She apologized & said that they had a hard time getting to my oil filler and that was why they made a mess! Then proceeded to tell me that she can give me a 20% discount off my next oil change! Obviously this happens a lot if she is authorized to offer a discount off the cuff. Why would I want to come back here? I tell her that is unacceptable and i would like to speak with the manager. She goes in the building and comes back without the manager. Once again said that the discount is the best they can do. I wanted to speak with the manager and for him to see the mess that his employees caused. She went back a second time and he would not come out to speak with me! I asked her how will you guys know that Im supposed to get a discount the next time. Oh, it will show up on your account and you will receive an email. The same account that listed me as a man driving a mustang? Needless to say I never received an email, a phone call, or a smoke signal.So if you would like to have your car bathed in oil by a bunch of incompetent people being lead by a lazy, unprofessional manager by all means head straight over to Valvoline!

Quick and easy. Got my oil changed, got a rear window wiper, got the fluids topped off, all in less than 13 minutes.

The staff was super friendly and did not pressure me for unnecessary upcharges. Cameron actually checked on my belts and tires personally and gave me suggestions on when they may need to be changed. Really appreciated the helpful honesty and friendliness.

The service was great! the people were extremely friendly and they seemed to genuinely car about my car and the value that i get. They even gave me a 20% discount. I was going to give a five star review but as i was driving home from a oil change i heard something was scrapping the road, so i pulled over. when i looked under the car I noticed the skid plate was hanging off because it was missing two screws. I turned around and went back to Valvoline in hopes they had the screws but they didnt. They ended up using a couple of zip-ties which work well for now but zip-ties tend to slowly eat through the plastic and every time I change my oil i need to request for new zip-ties from now on. it was probably the best oil change i ever until i left. the inconvenience of pulling over and turning around and replacing zip-ties every few month made me give them 2 stars instead of 5.

There worst Valvaoline Ive ever stopped through and all I needed was air. No on ever came to my car to greet me. Had already been sitting there 15 mins and stil . O one came to greet mysel . Or the other truck sitting in the bay next to me. There were 4 people on one vehicle, Really. Never experienced this since being a loyal valvoline customer. Best oil change ever , checked all air filters ,all my fluids ,and super fast. On a note not related to rating the mechanic who helped had a interesting story of why he became a mechanic, but I will let you visit if you wish to find out.
