EDITED to ADD: We switched to Two Maids and a Mop and have been very pleased! Cleaning Authority was spending 2 hours or less to clean our home (which is the same amount of time they spent at our previous house that had MUCH less square footage), whereas Two Maids let me know our house would take a minimum of 3.5 hours. So glad we made the switch!I have used this company for over 5 years and have always been pleased until the last year. Their service has declined greatly. You will have different people cleaning your house each week- no consistency in your crew. I understand no clean is perfect, but my floor always have spots on them-and I dont mean small easily missed spots- as you can see in the photo below. The response when I notified the company of this today was that they obviously couldnt make me happy so we should part ways. Morale of the story- if you actually want clean floors when you pay for a cleaning company, then this company is right, they CANNOT make you happy. Take your business elsewhere.

I also usually do not write reviews, however others might need to be informed. I have used this Company for about a year. It started very professional with Sandy the owner personally coming to our home and going over our needs.The first few months it was the same time and same cleaners. Then different people and with them wearing masks I don’t know who they are.Originally they left a paper with their names and what they had done. That quit. I also had issues with quick work... often not at the house but and hour and half. The dusting would be around objects nothing moved and accessories not touched. They use all their own equipment but the vacuum is not heavy duty but something carried like a backpack. When I called to let them know that some of my furniture was scratched... I think from swinging vacuum , I was told someone would come and check. Never had anyone show up and this happened more than once. My next issue was not arriving as usual and no notification. I was told to check website and there was nothing there.Today was the topper... again no show at usual time so I called and was told it would be later..again nothing sent to me. I told him this was beginning to be a problem since I’ve had appointments. In fact the cleaning before that was a few days before my Husband’s Memorial who passed from Covid. I had company coming and was maxed out with stress and they would be later. Anyway today I felt the man I spoke to was very insensitive to any complaint. In fact he said I should find someone else.That’s how my business was appreciated.

Bobbi, Maddie, and Pearl did a wonderful Job cleaning this week! They were efficient and took pride in their work. They were very attentive to my 5 year old that was so excited to show them his Disney pictures. They are super friendly. I would recommend this team for cleaning!

Katie and Pearl, as always, do a fantastic job for myself. Attention to every detail and then some. It is such a pleasure to see the results of each ones efforts. I receive so many complements at my home from the service. I honestly have to say, that it would not be possible without great job done by this team. And as a plus, my Australian Shepard, companion, just loves to see them.

I tried to save this place but the owner chooses favorites and unfortunately even though they preferred my partner and I as their a team meaning we basically just cleaned the homes that people werent cleaning correctly until the customer was satisfied then they would send us to the next that had the most complaints. Everytime a home would start to tip us, they would send the regulars back that we had to clean up after in the first place. We were not favorites just the only team to do our jobs. I ended up getting fired for taking up for the owner to employees that were trying to take advantage of him and because they were favorites, I was fired as well as getting quit put on My seperation notice after I specifically said when I was fired that that is what he needs to put on my seperation notice. Could be a good company if he would adjust the office staff I did a great job here and so did my partner. We were both done wrong by the owner he .seems to just not care at all which is so sad to me.

My wife says the The Cleaning Authority service is the greatest gift I have ever given her. Its all she ever wants for Christmas and birthdays! After 3 or 4 years now, the Cleaning Authority crews do a great and efficient job 9 times out of 10. When Rebecca and Destiny are on the job, though, you can be 100% sure that everything is getting done and getting done well.Husbands and significant others... what are you waiting for??? To keep things more economical for us, they even worked with me to customize our cleaning plan because we have rooms that rarely get used. If your boo does most of the cleaning, give your boo the greatest gift ever. If you do most of the cleaning, give that gift to yourself!

Diamond and Destiny arrived on time and made sure everything was cleaned to perfection, including the lower half of the glass shower (a pet peeve). They always take the time to make sure were happy with the service and are always open to suggestion. I highly recommend The Cleaning Authority!

I had a good first experience with a crew of three. I don’t know their names, but were friendly and professional.

I used Cleaning Authority Chattanooga for over 2 years. I typically would not waste the time to leave this review, but the way I was talked down upon when cancelling the service yesterday makes this seem necessary.Everything started great. The first dozen cleans were absolutely worth the price. After this things started to go down hill. I always pick up my house prior to cleaning, I believe this allows the cleaners to actually clean. I’m not paying someone to pick up after me.. this is a “cleaning service” after all. It had gotten to the point where they weren’t even wiping down surfaces or just skipping entire areas of my home. They will always send out a crew for a follow up if you call and complain, but this is extremely annoying. I’m obviously paying to have this service come because I value time not scrubbing toilets and floors, it would be so incredibly easy to do it right the first time. It takes a minimum of two visits (scheduled clean, and then complaint follow up) for a satisfactory house clean.In summary, there are going to be different people in your house every single week, they are going to have to make multiple trips, and you will overpay. This is a franchise, expect franchise service, and not the Chick-fil-A kind.

I had been debating getting a cleaning service and finally decided to do it. I work full time and don’t want to spend my weekends cleaning house.Brooke & Madison were wonderful and very thorough. I came home from work to a fresh smelling and extremely clean house. It was wonderful. I highly recommend this business for your cleaning needs. Their customer service has been outstanding as well.

My wife and I started using this service at the end of 2020 as we needed a bit of extra help cleaning our house. The first clean, we are forced to do a deep clean which cost significantly more, over 70% of a normal clean. I still do not understand the difference between a regular clean and a deep clean, but the home seemed cleaner, so cool.The first couple cleans go smooth and we are feeling good about the service. Then in December they are at the house cleaning for less then 20 minutes, we have proof of this as we have an alarm for the home. I call the office to discuss l, and Amanda the manger dismisses my claim, says they clean houses well over 6000 square feet. Thats great, but I still do not understand how that is relevant. Then the second cleaning in January, 1/20/21, and employee is throwing equipment around our house and down the stairs. Very strange and not much cleaning was happening, there seemed to be a rift between an employee named Diamond and the other 3 cleaners. I called the manager Amanda and was dismissed again, saying they would address the situation at the office. Awesome, however that does not help the cleaning or damage to my home. Then I speak with the owner Sidney who seems to careless if he keeps me as a customer or not.TLDR: unprofessional and lack of cleaning, I do not recommend, 0 of 10.

We recently moved to the area and hired The Cleaning Authority to help us stay on top of cleaning. It has been the best decision and I am so happy to see Amy and Brittany every other Friday!! They do an amazing job, super fast, and are so friendly (our family dog loves to see them too!).

We used this service for years with a relatively positive experience. Early on, we had the same crew of two and they were wonderful. After they moved on to better opportunities, I dont think we ever had the same person twice. After a couple months of this unpredictable cycle, we had some jewelry stolen. This also happened to my dad who used their services as well. Some of the things stolen belonged to my late mother and can never be replaced. We discontinued their services immediately and would NOT recommend them to anyone.

Destiny and Brooke did a top-notch job this visit. They were professional, polite, and pleasant. I have been a customer for years and have never regretted having the service.

The young girls, Sydney B. and Lexi B. were positive, smiled and got to work. I was their last cleaning and I know they were probably tired, but it didnt show in their work.

We get a biweekly clean and love the job the cleaning authority does! Only once has a thing or two been missed and it’s minor considering our large house and the mess my kids make. Stephanie is the absolute best! She is meticulous and great with my very shy son. Our last clean Brittany and Amy did a great job especially detailing the kitchen where my toddler threw food and it stuck. I always look forward to their visits and recommend them to anyone who is even slightly interested. We love cleaning authority!! We love that they rotate areas and give each designated area a ‘fine tooth comb’ cleaning while still maintaining their excellent work on the remaining areas of the house. We also love that they bring all of their own supplies. No running out the night before they come to pick up dusters, etc.Autumn and Stephanie are our dream team but occasionally others come while training. Two weeks ago Autumn was here with two great co-workers. I can’t remember their names but they did a fantastic job. This week It was the dream team...Stephanie and Autumn. Worst excuse for a cleaning business I have ever known. Service people rushed through the house, left the floors streaked, dirt and dust still everywhere, and we never saw the same workers twice. We used this business 4 times, and each team was sloppy and did not clean well. I dont know why we kept hoping they would improve. Just had to fire them.

I always said I would never have a cleaning service but life changes... I was so nervous to have people I didn’t know in my house. But thanks to Rebekah, Bobby and Promise for making things so much easier for us. Having the cleaning authority allows me to spend more time with my family on the weekends. I am very happy with The Cleaning Authority. They routinely cleaning ceiling fans and lights, door and window frames. They use their own supplies and equipment. The cleaning supplies are eco-friendly. They work in teams so the cleaning time gets cut in half. They come twice a month for us; and, while they clean the whole house, they do a concentrated cleaning of a different area each time they come. Katie Epperson and Jennifer Wallace came this week and did a really good job for us.

Promise and Tyler did a superior job cleaning the house today. They were here for two and a half hours and left the house spotless. They were very professional and courteous. Shellie and Kristen have been coming to clean for almost 2 years (maybe more) and they have always been awesome and professional. We really lucked out when they became our regulars every two weeks. We have been well pleased with TCA, especially with the girls they send to our house. They have adjusted schedules easily, with medical problems we experienced. Detailed cleaning is done easily and rapidly and when we add the upstairs, it is handled very efficiently. Five stars may not be enough!!This past week, Alex and Brittany made sure all was done before they left and they passed my white glove test that I dont do anymore. We recommend this to anyone looking for a job to be done well and would suggest a bonus for the cleaners.

It is so nice to return home to a very clean house. Denna, Autumn and Patricia do an excellent job, cleaning areas that are not so easy to do. I have lots of “stuff” on shelves and they get it all clean. They are very friendly also and seem to want to make sure I’m happy wit the cleaning.

Ashley and Rebecca did an outstanding job. They are quick, efficient, and super pleasant. With me often working from home, they check to see if I have any conference calls coming up in the time they will be there. Weve been using the Cleaning Authority in Chattanooga for 2 years now and we love it! There is no way we could keep up with cleaning our house on our own, its the best money weve ever spent. They are always willing to send someone back out if something was missed or not up to our satisfaction during our biweekly cleanings. We like the fact we can cancel, without penalty, if something comes up last minute that prevents us from having the cleaners at the house that day. They do send different cleaners almost every week, which I have mixed feelings about. This last cleaning, Danielle and Jordan did a fantastic job cleaning the house and were meticulous. Wed love to have them back again.

They have a certain routine where they clean everything but on one visit they clean extra area and next visit another. Ex kitchen is cleaned but next visit they clean filters in stove etc. They always clean ceiling fans. All the girls are very well trained and responsible. My team is usually Jessica Starnes and Sydney ... they are phenomenal, and so open as to what they might even do better ... such ambitious, can-do gals! As Jessica is an instructor, I don’t always get Sydney with her (I miss Sydney when she’s not here) - Jessica often has new trainees. The trainees are getting the BEST, though ... Jessica not only teaches, but I overhear her telling them ‘why’ such & such method or detail is important! I love having such pleasantly positive attitudes in my home!

Sue and Missy have been cleaning for us for years and we love their care and attention to detail! When I come home after a cleaning day I love the streak-free clear windows, the glean on the bathroom counter tops, the vacuum lines on all the carpets and the smooth and scrubbed wooden floors.
