These guys were fantastic, super accommodating, and worked quickly! I came in because my laptop (that was less than a year old) stopped responding to a charge, and buying a new charger didnt help. The guys ran a diagnostic on my computer and let me know within 24 hours that it was an issue with the motherboard. They even helped me track down a replacement for my (super rare, hard to find motherboard) and offered me an AMAZING deal on it (Im talking 50% less than market price). My laptop was still under warranty so I opted to take advantage of that instead of replacing the motherboard. But I VERY much appreciate all the effort they put in. Having a set of strong options made a situation that could be very stressful, easy instead. And they didnt charge me anything for the trouble. 10/10 experience. This will be the only computer repair shop I will visit in the future. They know their stuff and they really earned my trust!

Ive been tinkering with electronics and computers since the 90s. I can do a lot of soldering myself, but I dont do micro soldering. I was referred to Stateline electronics to have an HDMI port re-soldered on my TV logic board. Ben got me in very quickly and made a speedy repair. Took my MacBook in for a needed software reinstall due to the current software was compromised and degraded. Stateline Electronics fixed my issue for a relatively inexpensive price. Friendly faces when you walk in and they really care about your problem, you’re not just another ticket number waiting to be looked at and they do excellent work. Got my computer fixed here and loved the price. However, I wasn’t too pleased with my initial first visit, wasn’t personable (friendly) or didn’t seem to care about my issue. First impression is everything. Communication is horrible. Had my computer for a week but told me it’ll be two days.... The prices are reasonable and convenient (location). Next time I’ll check with my normal repair person.

I dropped my Mac off to have it updated to the latest OS, and to check the memory for a possible upgrade. He quoted me $45 to do this. I received a message two days later for me to call. Over the next four days I called several times but no one answered. When I finally got a call back I was told it was going to be $90 to do the job and he hadn’t checked the memory yet. I told his assistant not to do the upgrade, it was more than I wanted to pay at this time and I’d do it myself. When I went to pick up my Mac they still wanted to charge me a $27.31 diagnostic fee even though they hadn’t done anything. If he had done any diagnostics on it he would have been able to tell me how much memory was in it, or would have already loaded the new OS. I don’t know for sure if he really did anything or not but I left there not wanting to do business with him again! Very disappointing, he really seemed like a nice guy.

GREAT Apple repair center. I have never heard of anyone having a bad experience here with their Apple repairs, and I can agree from just having an iMac service. Since we dont have an actual Apple store here in Chattanooga (closest ones are Atlanta, Nashville & Knoxville), they are your best-bet for Apple Certified Repair. I should know, I worked for Apple for years and these guys were my go-to when customers asked for a repair location.

Just had my wifes Mac Book Pro upgraded. Usual excellent service and great price.My six year old iMac was beginning to fill to the point that I thought it was affecting performance. I had my hard drive upgraded to 2TB and added a bit more RAM. Best thing I ever did.I was able to schedule when to do the work and I took in it and got it back later that day.I have used them before and have always been very satisfied with the service and the price.I recommend them to anyone.

Computer Depot doesnt charge you tax when you pay with cash but with your card debit card you get taxed? I find something very wrong with that. SO go to Stateline. Be wary of their work!They did a test wrong and almost made us pay $400 for a free warranty repair. Just be wary of their work, who knows what other mistakes they might make in examining your equipment.We took it to another place who found no problem whatsoever (even said that this place screwed up) and they helped us instead.Full Story:One of my family members gave them her iPhone to send off for a warranty repair with Apple. They said it would take 7 days. So she waited. 8 days comes and she gives them a call. Apparently the phone had failed a charging port test and so they said it wouldnt be under warranty. They never shipped it off or called to let her know that. It just sat at the store and she was without her phone for a week needlessly. Why wouldnt they call the same day it failed and let her know? Instead of paying for a fix, she went elsewhere.I personally took it to Simply Mac at Hamilton Place (GREAT Place) to have them run the test and ship it off. The specialist ran the quick test and noted that there was nothing at all wrong with the phone. He even had an idea what they did wrong to make it appear broken. He quickly helped me and shipped it off for repair that very same day. (If youre keeping score, instead of waiting for 8 days like we did here, they ran the test in front of me, evaluated, and had it ready to ship in under 30 mins. If not less.)Go anywhere else but here. We all make mistakes and I get that, but we almost paid for a needless $300+ repair. Just be safe and go elsewhere.

I took two Macbook Pros in for service and received a quote on both repairs the same day and was able to pick up the repaired machines the next day (faster than promised.) Their pricing was very fair and they were pleasant to work with, I would highly recommend them.

Desktop solutions was recommended to me by apple support, and they did a great job! A new hard drive (including recovery from the old hard drive) was just under $300.

My i-mac 27 has been sluggish and noisy since it came out of the box. When Apple announced that the OEM drives were faulty I called Desktop Solutions who told me to bring my machine the following morning. I took the machine to Desktop at 9:00am on a Friday morning and by 11:00 the drive had been replaced and the entire system restored without the loss of a single piece of data, desktop placement or document. The best part was that there was NO CHARGE!My i-mac now runs at the originally intended speed and is silent.Ive used Desktop Solutions for many years and would never consider another service provider.

I had a display coating issue that was a malfunction on my year of Macbook Pros... I contacted Apple Care and they gave me an exception that they would cover it even though it was past the coverage date. Since there is no Apple store in Chattanooga they hooked me up with Desktop Solutions which I felt good about because of all the reviews I had read.Desktop Solutions accepted the exception Apple had made for me, didnt charge me at all! I dropped my laptop off today, and they replaced the screen in 30min, its like new!Theyre a little hard to get in touch with via phone, but they replied to my FB message pretty quick. All in all, highly recommend for quality service!

Much cheaper than SimplyMac for my MacbookPro repair, and the woman at reception was friendly and incredibly helpful, practically bending over backwards to help get the service done and get me my computer afterwards. They have earned my business for pretty much forever. While I hope my computer doesnt break again, I will definitely be recommending them from here on.

I called ahead to reserve a battery for my iPhone 7 Plus. I called this Tuesday to confirm the battery would be there and inquire if the battery for iPhone 6 would be available while I was there. They stated that there were no batteries for the 7+. I asked if anyone was ever going to call me or if I was going to drive that far and waste my time. What a joke of a business.

I have had numerous Macs over the years that eventually developed issues. Sometimes I have tried to fix these problems myself, with less than satisfactory results. Other times I simply loaded up the computer and took it to Desktop Solutions. Every time they have been able to identify the problem quickly, and provide an estimate for fixing the problem. Sometimes because the computer was 5+ years old I elected to let it rest in peace rather than pay to fix something that far out of its prime. Other times I have had Desktop Solutions fix the problem. Most of the time it seemed to me that they underreported the hours spent workring on my computer. This a quality company to take your ailing computers to.

Overpriced. Searched for Apple Repair shops in the area and found this place. Took my Mac in and a week later the girl called and it would be $715.00 to fix my Mac. Took it to another local dealer and the diagnosis was free. Wasted $35.00 plus tax. Found an online repair service for way less. Would not recommend.
