This place is amazing. Purchased a 1973 super beetle one of their customers was selling and left it there for some work and they have been extremely patient and helpful in advising me about the work. The pricing for what I am having done is very very fair and the owners a super nice. If you have an air cooled vehicle and live in the area, this is the place to go!

I took my 68 VW Bus to Rick at the recommendation of Elias up at Mntn Service Imports. Rick dropped the motor and fixed my problems some we knew about, and some we found out about through the mechanical investigation. After fixing the multiple exhaust leaks I have a bus that has twice the power and is twice as quiet. They kept me in the loop through the process. What else can you ask of your mechanic? He fixed the problem, kept me in the loop, and didnt bilk me for services I didnt need.Thanks again- Now I dont have to live in between gears going up Signal Mountain- 3rd gear pulls it all the way, and even gains ground toward the top. Im stoked!

I have an older import. One look at the mileage and condition of my car made the owner of this establishment chuckle and vow to keep her roadworthy until half a million miles (at least). We are almost there and running great. I would highly recommend these guys if you want honesty, fair prices, and knowledgeable mechanics.

They treat you right and know what they are doing. I’m not sure how they keep the lights on with their rates but I’m not complaining. Best mechanic in town. Wouldn’t take my car anywhere else, even if there is a long queue of people that feel the same way waiting in front of me.

Rick may know how to repair Volkswagens but I do not recommend him for any other classic. I have a 1979 Mercedes 450SL that sat in storage for almost one year waiting on him to repair. He finally admitted he did not have the expertise to repair a fuel issue. I had the car shipped to Huntsville, Alabama for repairs.

Rick and his staff are by far the most helpful mechanics Ive ever dealt with. Rick really knows his stuff and is more than willing to share the knowledge. I wouldnt take my Subaru to anyone else.

Didnt fix my car and got footed a $170 bill. Nice guy and all, but my car is still down wasted 2 1/2 weeks and $170. Some sort of communication would have made this better. Thanks alot
