You always get good answers for questions, and you know you are valued. And, the waiting areas are comfortable and delightful! Also, the prices are so very reasonable!!

I was very pleased with the service I received at Blackwell Automotive. Theyre very professional and their price is very hard to beat. I got a lot of Maintenance work done to my vehicle. And I was expecting to pay a lot more than it cost so I was pleasantly surprised when they told me the cost of my maintenance before they started the work. Omg I have never been to an automotive shop that accommodates females as much as blackwells does... If I could give 20 stars I would. They have amazing employees who offer awesome customer service.. its very clean and well maintained.. Ill post pictures but they have any and everything that a woman might need. AMAZING! We were having a brake issue at 4:30pm. They got us right in to check it out! Easy fix! Owner even offered to loan us a vehicle to go to FLORIDA, & pick our car up on the way back! And they didnt even charge us! Very gracious & accommodating! Made sure we were comfortable while waiting, offered snacks & drinks. Southern hospitality at its finest!

My husband and I recently moved into the area and we tried several mechanics before we found Blackwell Automotive. I am extremely pleased with the courteous and professional service that we have received from them. They have been able to fit us into their schedule quickly when we have needed help with our vehicles and I have been pleased with the quality of the repairs that they have made to our vehicles. Additionally, when one of my windshield wipers flew off of my car during my commute, they made the time to replace it for me immediately even though they were very busy that day so that I wouldnt have to drive home in the rain with no wipers. This isnt necessarily a factor in my 4 star rating, but as a cherry on top of the sundae they have the largest, most comfortable waiting room that I have ever seen. It is attractive, clean, and stocked with every possible amenity: snacks, drinks, computers, comfortable seating, phone chargers, reading material, etc. As far as we are concerned, Blackwell Automotive is our go to for as long as we live here and own vehicles.

Went to Blackwell Automotive last week. Right before I went, I cleaned out my car because Id just been on a trip and had stuff everywhere so I was very aware of the state of my car when I brought it in. While I was there, everyone was very professional and helpful. I was really happy with the service I received and had all my questions thoroughly answered. Until a few days later when I went into the back of my car to see one of my car mats was missing. I am absolutely certain it was there before I brought the car into Blackwell and no one but me and this shop entered the vehicle between me knowing that mat was in there and it being missing. So I called and, surprise, they have no idea. I really would have loved to leave a glowing review but this is just sketchy.

I have a 10 year old Lexus and Blackwell techs provide quality service that keeps me comfortable with maintenance issues. The customer area makes wait time tolerable as everything from computers to snacks are available.

The headlights on my 2008 Prius were flickering and going out occasionally. They always came back on if I turned the switch off and back on but I was afraid they might fail on a night trip. *Writing this review for my father*My dear friend has been taking her car to your garage for all types of repairs and to keep it serviced properly for awhile. We always thought that you did quality work at competitive prices, but after her last visit we were very surprised and disappointed. Her AC stopped cooling so I was going to help her out with it, and when I was adding freon I noticed a leak. The compressor was working fine and it started cooling really well until it ran low on freon. She took it to you and you serviced the vehicle as youve done so many times before. She also wanted you to fix the leak and add freon. When she got a call from you saying that the compressor was bad and you gave her an estimate, she was very surprised because I had told her that the compressor was good and I also showed her where the leak was, which she passed that information on to you. She didnt have you do the repair because I told her that I would take care of it for her. I bought an assortment of O rings and two 12oz cans of freon, and after spending less than $25 and about 30 minutes the problem was solved. I saved her from getting ripped off of more than $1,000 by you.

We moved here a few months ago and of course the ABS warning light on our highlander hybrid goes off. After pooling our neighborhood fb group we heard about Blackwell and decided to give it a try. Im so glad I did!! Not only was their diagnostic the most competitively priced, they also were able to do the repair immediately and again were most competitively priced (I had an idea of the repair and had priced a couple shops beforehand.)Lastly, their waiting area was a life saver!!!! Three rounds of snacks for my 3 kids made the 3 hr (1 hr diagnostic, 2 hr work) repair go by quickly we were one stop and done! What I originally thought was going to be a hour or so to diagnose and then have to schedule the work done, turned into 3 hrs. total and the repair is complete. Thank you!

I took my car in for a general look over. It’s an older vehicle so I knew there were going to be things wrong with it. They explained the needed repairs in a way I could understand. They were very nice. The waiting area and customer counter area were very clean!!

I have Acura which Blackwell was able to fix as well even though they are specifically for Lexus and Toyota make cars. Blackwell did great with my Acura’s needs. My Dad usually fixes my cars but he lives in VA, so I found this shop which was beyond my expectations for a car shop. A previous car shop took advantage that I was a girl and didn’t understand what was wrong with my car, but not Blackwell. Blackwell treated me equally and explained to me all the possible problems with my tires that could be occurring and they even held off on balancing my tires until I drove it again to made sure that I truly wanted the tires balanced. Absolutely Exceptional Service. Will be going back to Blackwell for all my future car needs.

I took my Toyota Camry in for repair, preparedto need a head gasket replacement due to coolant loss which is a very expensive repair. After checking the engine it was not the gasket but, the water pump which is a much, much less expensive fix. Richmond and Danny were very honest and forthcoming with options and recommendations for what would be necessary to fix my car right! I highly recommend Blackwell Automotive. Also, they only use OEM parts.

I can’t speak enough good things about this business! I had previously shopped around for a repair for my 2015 Camry that had a very loud rattling/pop coming from the sunroof. When I found this business they were very nice with trying to help me narrow down the issue and getting me a reasonable quote! I had a quick turn around and they called me about a week or two later to make sure the repair was still working properly!Also, the business was very good with COVID precautions they didn’t have a full waiting room, and I was able to actually wait outside if I wanted to sit maskless.

The fuel pump in my car went out while I was driving through Chattanooga on a Friday night and I left it here to be fixed over the weekend while I was out of town. I was able to easily communicate with them about the issue and they fixed the pump and processed my payment over the phone without any complications whatsoever. They are closed on Sundays so they fixed it on Saturday and had it ready for me to pick up at the shop on my way back through town Sunday night. I would use them again without hesitation and recommend them for anyone in the area who needs a professional auto shop.

I had all sorts of warning lights on my car, brakes not working, and was expecting a major repair. I got lucky, it turned out to be a small thing causing big symptoms. These guys took care of it for a very reasonable price. They took the time to investigate carefully and test drove it twice to make sure they had resolved the issue. I had never used them before, but I will never take my car anywhere else.

Dont get me wrong, I like Blackwell and I think they do an awesome job!! With that being said ,you should always get a second quote and inspection before diving in. Blackwell wanted $1400 to replace an air compressor AND drier on my 2007 Camry. Got the COMPRESSOR replaced ,did NOT need a drier ,system recharged for $502.
