Discovered this place when I was traveling to the area from out of town for a job interview. Their honesty and helpfulness impressed me, especially as a woman by herself; and now that I live here, they are my and my familys go to mechanics. They have done good work for us; and, continue to demonstrate honesty and helpfulness.

Very clean inside. I can tell they disinfect. Friendly service. Had them check out our car before vacation. We bought new brakes. Unfortunately, they missed our AC freon leak. We traveled 10 hours without AC.

The water pump went out on my f150 and they replaced it for me. The service advisors were friendly and helpful. The next day I thought it was leaking (and it wasn’t) and they checked it for me. Very reasonably priced. Very friendly. Would recommend. 10/10.

These guys were the best. Traveling through and had a low coolant light come on. Stopped in with no appointment and asked if they would be able to check and fill coolant. These took the time to look over and check to make sure there were no leaks or issues. Very professional, helpful, and kind and courteous. I would recommend this team and shop any time of the day. Fast, attentive, up front, friendly service. Staff saw me within 2 days or less, and had my car taking care of in less than a couple hours. I appreciate when professional mechanics treat drivers with respect as far as vehicle knowledge goes. Weather you know your stuff, or have no idea how a car works, checkpoint will have you up and running in no time with a smile on your face.

I now have air conditioning in my van! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the mechanics! I had taken my van to another shop that assured me there wasnt anything wrong with my air conditioning. Not only did the mechanic diagnosis and repair the a.c., but was completed within half a day! Ill be bringing all my vehicles here for repair work.

My check engine light went on before the beginning of a very busy weekend for my family. We were kindly able to be fit into the schedule. My kids were greeted and felt welcome as we waited for our diagnostic test to be run. The problem was identified and corrected. I will be back...hopefully not too soon though😜.

I took my 1997 f-150 in here about a month ago to have them look at it and we learned the dipstick tube was broken and they quoted me $1000 The other shop I took it to quoted me $100 and said it was a “simple job” since they are going to have it on the lift and change the oil also it was a total rip off none of our car will go back

Only there for about 10 minutes for a oil change

Had my tires rotated at another dealer, and a wheel stud was broken off. I was hinky about driving with four lug nuts for holiday traveling, but I was worried that I wasnt going to be able to get it fixed before Christmas. Checkpoint got me in on Christmas Eve and had it fixed in about a half hour. I dealt with Adam Fromme, who was super nice and helpful. Ill be taking my business here from now on.

While living in Chatham for over 23 years, my family has had all of our cars serviced by Check Point. From simple oil changes to tire replacement to major engine repairs, these guys have been terrific! Bill and Randy and Adam are friendly, professional and calm and the guys who work for them get the jobs done right the FIRST time, so we never had to bring vehicles back because the work wasnt done correctly. Their prices are great and they stand behind their work. It was always a pleasure to stop by and no matter how large or small the problem was, it was always taken care of efficiently and completely. I recently moved to Eustis, Florida and one of my regrets leaving Illinois is that I cant bring my vehicles to Check Point anymore. My wife and I own a 2000 Mazda 626 LX and a 2001 Mazda Protege and Im convinced that without having them serviced at Check Point, they probably would have worn-out many years ago.
