Like everyone else I chose this place because I wanted to help a small business. This was a mistake.This is the most ridiculously expensive shop you can imagine.They charged me 85 dollars to draw up an estimate for repair. The estimate at gingerich - 400 and would take s break months (not a joke). The estimate at a big box - 130 and would be done in a few weeks at most.Its a good old boys club as far as I can tell. Dont waste your time.

I chose your business because I believe in supporting local businesses. I purchased a chainsaw and gas mix for $450. I was given the chainsaw without any box or paperwork/instructions. 30 minutes after turning on the chainsaw it stopped working. I brought it back to you and you said that someone would call me soon. I had to wait three weeks. When I finally reached one of your supervisors, he had a dismissive, disrespectful, and unprofessional demeanor and told me that I had run the chainsaw with the safety on, that the damage was my fault, and that they wouldn’t cover the repair. (I know how to used a chainsaw)They didn’t even want to put it back together. I contacted the manufacturer, Stihl, to make a claim and they told me to go to Virginia Tractor. At Virginia Tractor they were very nice, said it was a factory defect and changed the part. The chainsaw is working at 100 %. It was seriously a bad experience because they didnt want to help me, all I wanted was to help a small business.

Ryan was super helpful in pointing out advantages and disadvantages of commercial mowers. Never tried to sell me anything I didn’t want, gave me some marked down options. In the end I went with the 52” snapper, which was soon made ready and a driving tutorial was given. Didn’t even make fun of me when I showed up with a trailer four inches too skinny. Repairs and maintenance are prompt and reliable, their technicians are certified and scrupulous. Thanks!

Great store with wonderful and knowledgeable staff. They had what I needed and I was out the door quickly and had my mower running again in no time.

If you want a great example of the value buying local then Gingerich Outdoor Power is it. No big box store can give the service I received at Gingerich. I bought a new cordless electric chain saw and the service/sales guy charged the battery and put oil in it before giving it to me. It was ready to be used. Also, he took out of the box so he could demonstrate how to use and service it. When done he repackaged it, told me about the warranty, and said I should call if I had any questions. I could not have had a more satisfying experience.

Went in for the first time. Customer service was great and an employee quickly helped me with my purchase.

My first visit and it wont be my last. JD (I think those are his initials) helped me diagnose a dead saw and got me going on the spot with expert advise on how to keep it running. Very impressed. When it comes time to buy my second saw and certainly for all maintenance needs, I know where Im going! Thanks guys!!!

Great people, easy to work with and communicate well with whats going on

Id been searching for a specific chainsaw for some time with no luck. At first it seemed the same for my visit to gingerich however the sales clerk knew the model I was looking for and recalled that they had just received some, not yet on the floor. After a few minutes the sales clerk returned with the last one in the store and offered assistance with starting procedures and gave me a card to keep them in mind for maintenance in the future.

Great experience purchasing a weed eater at Gingerich Outdoors today. On the way through the parking lot I couldnt help but notice how organized the repair shop was. Very knowledgeable staff. Everyone was friendly, eager to help and appear to enjoy what they do. Salesperson explained the features and benefits and once I had decided on the appropriate model another staff member took the weed eater back in the shop area, fueled it up, started and tested it, brought it back up to the front and demonstrated the proper starting technique. While this was going on the salesperson was busy registering the product warranty and ringing me up. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Great selection, fair price, highly recommend this place.

Always helpful folks.. They didnt have a chain in stock and were willing to custom make one on the spot.. I have my power equipment serviced here regularly..

As a commercial customer I’m very happy with Gingerich Outdoor. They treat me well, their parts guy gets me what I need and they’re very knowledgeable. Their service is great, not always the fastest but that’s because they’re busy and can’t just snap their fingers. I’d like to see them carry another brand, like Honda and/or Exmark. They’re a great local business! Highly recommend them!

Had to have them pick up my 16 year old xmark zero turn for throttle issues. Made pick up and drop off very easy, while the mower was in the shop they were very good at communicating what was going on and needed. Very friendly and the only place Ill send my equipment from here on out!

Truly a good knowledgeable place to deal with. Have been getting my mower parts there for several years and have not gotten the wrong parts and they are prompt to call when part come in. Next mower purchase will be from them.

This is a wonderful store. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. My family has purchased several pieces of equipment including a large Toro mower, a Stihl chainsaw and a Stihl weed trimmer. The staff spent the time to discuss our needs and suggest the right equipment for the job. All equipment has worked very well and been exactly what we needed.
