Dewight told me that my tires dont have much life left in them. He gave me estimates on a couple different tires for me to think about. Being a woman some shops will take advantage of women. A friend broke down and was towed here. Since they knew they had her, they overcharged her for service and charged a “diagnostic fee” even though she paid them for repairs. We will not be returning for any reason. I would recommend you shop around and skip these crooks.

Make purchased online to installed in store. Paid for everything online. Nobody used masks or gloves and will get close to you when speaking. They didn’t took very well that I parked my car inside and locked the door to protect against COVID-19. It took them over 20 min to find my order in the system. When everything was done and I park back in front of the store and check, all my 4 wheels were scratched. The manager took pictures snd said he will give me a call latter. Then he proceded to charge me for installation even that it was paid in full online and I have my proof of purchase email on hand, that took an additional few minutes to clarify. After two days I received a call fm goodyear, not Jenkins Automotive, telling me they were calling me on behalf of Jenkins Automotive to inform me that Jenkins said they were not responsible for the damage. My venture with Goodyear and Jenkins ended in 4 scratched wheels in my 2016 Subaru Outback and nobody responsible to compensate. Good luck.

HONEST! I was sure I needed brakes to pass the vehicle state inspection. Even told them I thought in needed it. They said they were good. So, even with the expectation Id have to get brakes done, telling them that, they were honest Good people. My opinion is if they tell you, you need something done - you do. If not, theyll shoot you straight.

Extremely welcoming and fast. They fit me in to do a state inspection within minutes and were done by the time I had finished my Starbucks Coffee from a shop about 100 yards away. Best of all, they had a card about moving over when first responders have their lights on. Great service and great reminder.

Made my M.I.L pay for their mistake. Her lug bolt broke due to them crossthreading it. Tried telling her it was 2 years but it was 1 year 4 months and 13 day ( election day 2019 to the day it was picked up from shop )

If you have a car made before 1970 they may be ok. Otherwise, go elsewhere. Took my SUV in 5 times trying to get a battery cleaned and slow tire leak fixed. They didnt use a power backup when removing battery, so it took over a week to get window and door switches to work properly. They then returned vehicle twice with warning light activated. Driving for 10 minutes at 19 mph didnt help, as they said would. NTB fixed problem in 5 minutes. Apparently code needed to be scanned twice, including spare tire...

These guys have done a great job on all my cars and work trucks throughout the years.

Had a check engine light come on, transmission shifted poorly. Wanted them to run a scan to see what codes were being thrown.Told me I had a bad solenoid in my transmission that would require me to go to Amco or another place that works on transmissions.As you might know, transmission issues are not cheap, I was looking at a $3,000 fix minimum.I looked up the code online, turns out my car has a very common problem of overheating its TCM, a module that controls, well, the transmission.Long story short, the repair was so easy I did it myself with minimal tools for $250.I’m leaving a 2 star review instead of 1 because they were accommodating.They could’ve caught this with a short search and saved me from having to do the repair myself. What troubles me more is the possibility that I could’ve had Amco change the solenoid out and still be out a transmission and a lot of money.TLDRTrust these guys with tires and oil changes, go elsewhere for other mechanical issues.

Went early morning when they opened for state inspection. Was told it would be an hour--OK so far. After one hour car had still not moved and I had to leave. Be more honest please. Also, the customer waiting area is about as dismal as it was ten years ago.

Not upfront with their pricing. If you dont get repairs done with them they then retroactively charge you diagnostic fees. I would have been OK with that had they been upfront about it. I asked them to rotate the tires (which I paid for) they didnt and I paid for an inspection and they didnt change the sticker. They have lost a long time customer that said good things about them to every one I knew.

Is it possible to choose negative stars? Guy in the front was rude. They were an hour and a half late pulling in my car for my APPOINTMENT. Then they lied to me about my car and damaged it. And I know they lied because I had the other Jenkins in Waynesboro look at it and a personal friend who knows more about cars than I do.

This is my 3rd vehicle I have trusted them with. I like the fact that because I am a woman they do not try to rip me off. I have gone to another place here in town and payed almost triple what Jenkins charge. They always check my car and not only tell me what is wrong they will show me what is wrong then explain what they can do to fix it. Much to my surprise with fixing my car, labor and whatever else they base my bill on it has always been less than what I was expecting.

After I called approx 30 places trying to get in for a state inspection I found these guys and so glad I did. Fast friendly service at a great price! We will be going back in the future for sure!

Went there today at 5:40pm for tire repair. the guy didnt come out till 5:45. Had to walk up to his office. he said hes about to close since they close at 6:00. i said its just one tire with small hole. he says uh-huh. so i told him id be back tomorrow. i wont.

Very bad service and they are not honest, my car is a Honda civic and the timing belt was replaced 17k miles ago but the mechanic came out and said the belt must be replaced right now, thank God I was smart enough didnt agree and went to a different mechanic shop, and the guy in the second shop said it is new, and can easily go another 50k miles.What a day!

I moved out this way about 3 years ago and just happened to be in the need of new brakes when I drove past the shop and decided to turn around. Best decision I made! And although I havent really gotten to know the mechanics well, they do a great job. Ive gone there for tires, for inspections, for brakes, and if anything else goes awry Ill be going to Jenkins for that too. The light skinned guy at the register makes waiting fun. Hes always up for conversation and keeps the lobby quite lively. Thank you Jenkins for making getting car work done not so terrible.

Went there to get my car inspected, failed. Then they said it was going to cost 620 dollars to fix it. Couldn’t read the chicken scratch quote they gave me so I went back up to get it decrypted by the other guy at the desk. He started punching numbers in and then gave me a different price. This made me suspicious, so I took my car to airport auto the next day and they said, unlike Jenkins, my brakes were fine and all of the repairs would only cost $320. Either someone was being a little sneaky-sneaky and trying to rip me off, or someone screwed up. Either way, I won’t be returning.

Update: They got the problem fixed within an hour. Rating has been changed to 5 stars.Back with weird noise after a week. I came a week ago to get the lower ball joints replaced. It costed me over $400. Now the left tire is making very loud noise when I drive. Im now sitting waiting for them to check it again!

Top notch service, they let you know whats wrong before they do the work and they give you an estimate of how much it will be. Sometimes it comes in lower then the estimate. They are always busy but for good reason, they dont rip you off and their techs know what they are doing. Dont bother with anywhere else.

My step dad needed a new exhaust. I recommended my mom to call Jenkins to get a price estimate for him. They told her that Menike could do it for half the price and to take it there. Maybe we werent looking for the cheapest price. Maybe we just prefer to go to certain shops and dont mind paying a little more for quality work. Why the hell would any business suggest to go somewhere else for a cheaper price? That goes to show that whoever that person was really is there to back up the company.

The wait was long, and prices were high. There was work that couldnt be done here, and they did give great recommendations on other local options.

They didnt actually fix my issue, they swapped out a part and said maybe this is the problem. Plot twist, it wasnt.They also left off the battery cap on my battery, which I only just now discovered months later, so all the battery acids been open to the air for a few months.
