We cannot say enough good things about Servpro! They saved us after a pipe burst in one of our classrooms and were extremely helpful, professional and considerate. They even brought us boxes to put our classroom materials in while the classroom was being cleaned! We will certainly be calling them the next time we need help.

It was 3:00 AM when I reached out to the 24 hour service. The person on the phone was so helpful and took down all my information and said that she would page the on call tech. In just a short time the Servpro tech had returned my call, got information and was on the way. They have been such a god send. Thank again for all your help.

Our septic backed up unexpectedly into the basement. We contacted Serv Pro in Charlottesville and David came out, assessed the situation and took care of us right away! Everyone there was so helpful getting us through this process!

Justin & Lemuel (here in Charlottesville!) showed up, went to work, and busted it out in less time than I ever thought possible. They were so courteous, and they didnt even irk my elderly mom, whose place they were cleaning ---- something that I applaud! They went full-out, and were also very understanding and supplied trash bags for *me* to do stuff, too. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I called and spoke with a woman named Jackie, We were having issues with our foundation. She was unsure of the process or if this was something that servpro handled. She was extremely polite and asked if she could take down some information and she would call us back with the info. I figured it will probably be an hour or so until we hear something. Within 10 min she called back with answers to every question we had. Although servpro did not provide the service we needed she still made it a priority to call us back with the information, She even provided a few numbers to different companies that work with foundations in the area.

Chris and Darrell came out to check out damage from a leak from a pipe, which caused the floors in both bathrooms to be removed. They set up their equipment to dry out the floors and were very professional and courteous to myself and my wife. They explained the procedures taking place and answered any questions we had concerning the task at hand. Would definitely contact ServPro in the future if the need were to arise. Thanks guys.

Original review 04/03, 2021: Shout out goes to Lemuel Wallace from ServPro Charlottesville. I must say that Lemuel went above and beyond what I imagine to be the standard of customer service. He stayed until almost 11pm cleaning up the sewage that leaked in apartment. When he was done with his usual work description he could see that I was tired and overwhelmed and just wanted to take a shower. However, there were some items in the tub that were affected by rhe flood as well as remnants of sewage debris from the towels I had to use. This man sprayed/cleaned my tub with the super secret anti microbial disinfectant spray just so I didnt have to worry about it and I could just take a shower. His customer service was impeccable, his attitude was friendly and helpful, he was very detailed in his descriptions of why he was doing certain things. In short, Lemeul can be my permanent sewage removal guy but hopefully I never have to see him again. Poop water is not fun. Just sayin....yall should give him a raiseUpdated Review 04/09/2021: Justin Morris came to do a secondary clean-up. My apartment had another sewage leak days the first one which was still being repaired. Justin and Lemuel came in again, pulled up the freshly laid floors, removed the freshly repaired drywall and put fans back in to dry everything out. Since the same issue occurred, the same precautions were taken. Including the spraying of the tub and shower curtain. However, this time....we had floor glue on our hands too. Once we realized it was being tracked, Justin layed down plastic and taped it to my floor as to keep the glue from the bare floors being tracked on the unaffected areas without me even having to ask. ServPro is great and I appreciate the staff and everything you do. Treat your guys/girls right ServPro...they deal with and do a a lot for your customers.

Jackson came and inspected our home thoroughly after our basement flooded. He was straight-forward and very prompt with estimates & invoices. Lemmuel and his helper came to set up dehumidifiers & an air scrubber as well as do additional inspections to ensure what they had done worked. We were very pleased with the work that was completed! Very grateful for the communication with Lemmuel and his hard work spent at our home. Would definitely recommend this business for anybody needing water/moisture removal!

Jackson Lindsay and ServPro are absolutely wonderful. During the holiday season, my entire household contracted Covid-19, and my mother passed from complications. It was a very difficult time. After the contagion and quarantine period passed, they empathetically worked with my family to provide Covid cleaning services. The level of service they provided was above professional. Servpro did an outstanding job of drying our our kitchen and bathroom after a major water leak. Workers were knowledgeable and friendly huge machines to dry surfaces and their response came 13 hours after we requested service!!

Our carpeted basement was totally flooded when the hot water tank broke -- many, many boxes of books and family items were stored there and soaked up a lot of water. A bad situation! The emergency plumber said it looked like we really needed outside help -- so we called ServPro. They were a life saver. Nice people who did good work! They helped us dry out the basement, move and store or discard a huge number of boxes, remove and discard the glued down carpeting and tile flooring beneath it -- and bring everything back to normal at the end after other necessary work was done. The project took quite a while from start to finish and they never faltered in their service -- no concern important to us was dismissed. From our first contact on a Sunday afternoon, they always responded when we called and were really good about communicating with us. Ryan (the project manager) and Krystina and Amy in the office were great schedulers, organizers and PROBLEM SOLVERS. They also helped by communicating with our home owners insurance throughout for a smooth process. Chris (the crew chief) was super at organizing the work on site and getting it done -- what felt impossible became possible, then got done. Technicians Sam, Joe, Larry and Evan were all part of the team along the way making sure we were dry and safe. We are very grateful for a job well done!

ServPro was called in to cleanup damage from a water leak in our house. In a word, WOW! We were so glad to have their help. They did a fantastic job! All the team members were hardworking, friendly and professional. We were very impressed with their performance and would highly recommend them to others.

Revised below: Had water in my basement and called them. They came out quick. Asked for a quote prior to services and everyday after and received an estimate AFTER the work was all done. When I first called the lady told me it normally runs 500 to the highest Ive ever seen of 3000. They didnt even clean up debris after removing carpet. Basically they ripped up carpet sat down fans and charged $4,000! My basement is covered in carpet pieces and other debris.Update: so after posting this the project manager contacted me and came back to the house. They cleaned up and explained the bill further with me. It is still a lot of money, which would have been beneficial to know prior to work being complete, but with all that being said we appreciate the follow up and quickness of service.

I have had two different encounters with Ryan and cannot say enough nice things and how grateful I am for all that he does. Almost two years ago we had a pipe burst in our home. This was the first time we had to deal with this type of situation. We found Ryan to be professional, kind and effective as he helped us navigate through the process of getting all of the water out of our house. Recently my place of business had a main water line break and Servpro was who I recommended since I had such a good experience the first time. They came quickly and immediately sprung into action. All my questions and concerns were taken into account and handled. Dealing with a situation like this can be extremely stressful. Ryan was so kind, patient and helpful. He is very good at what he does and I cannot thank him or his crew enough. This group of people I would highly recommend should anyone need assistance in cleaning up fire or water damage.

I am very impressed by the quality of work, the timeliness of the response, the efficiency of the whole operation and most of all, the wonderful customer service of every employee with whom I had contact at a very stressful time!

I had a water break in my office ceiling, one big mess! I called servpro and they answered phone late in evening and showed up 35 min later. They were very professional and took care of everything right away. If anything like this happens to you call them you wont be disappointed. Im very happy with there service will always recommend. We had a major water emergency at 6 oclock on a Friday evening. The entire ceiling of our living room crashed down along with A LOT of water. We have hardwood floors in the room and I panicked. A friend recommended I call Servepro. They answered immediately and a local representative called me right back. They were at my house within an hour. Ryan was very professional and kind. He immediately began to get things cleaned up and was super informative about the whole procedure to start getting my floors dried out. He and another associate worked until after midnight cutting out drywall and pulling down wet insulation. The basement required a lot of work too as the water damage continued throughout the basement. They set up dryers and dehumidifiers and let me know exactly why and what they were doing. Ryan was back for the next four or five days and made sure the job was done and kept me very informed about the progress. He was in touch with our insurance company as well. Horrible! Takes forever to get back to you! Sometimes doesnt respond at all. Had been waiting on answers for asbestos results (which is obviously a safety issue) when we had a leak in our home. The leak started april 28, they came out did the test and said we would have the results in a few days. June 1 we STILL had no results! Finally after what seemed to be millions of phone calls we got someone to tell us that the report was in and emailed it to us June 8! The report was dated for May 13th! Our adjuster had been calling the entire month of May for results so they could close out our claim and pay us so the repairs could be done (meanwhile we are sleeping on the floor in another room because our bedroom is quarantined off). They kept telling him the results werent in! I could go on and on about the things one of the men that came out said about his boss and the shady things he was doing, but that is second hand info (it was regarding a fire at their warehouse). Point is, the FACT that they failed to inform us of asbestos in our home is completely unprofessional not to mention lack of concern for the safety of their clients. May 13th is what the document was dated! June 8th is when they finally told us, after us calling and calling. Please learn from our horrible experience and deal with someone else!
