Went in for inspection 2 weeks ago. Chose this place because it’s “fast”. The inspector told me I need to change my windshield wipes(around $50) and later told me they didn’t have the right ones fit my car so they have to fail me. I can get them changed and comeback. I asked him what’s wrong about my windshield wipes, he just said he didn’t like it. I was pretty confused. Waited 1 week for my appointment at my regular car shop, the mechanic was telling me he didn’t think there’s anything wrong with the wipes. I was like just changed it, or they might not pass me. He checked his inventory and didn’t have it as well. He told me I can try hendrick Lexus. So after another week of wait for my appointment, And AGAIN, Hendrick Lexus told me nothing wrong with my windshield wipes. I changed them anyways and drove back to Valvoline. The other inspector simply asked me to spray some water and wipe my windshield and passed me. Did not even look at them closely. My windshield wipes was working the WHOLE TIME. Such a huge waste of time.

Fast, friendly and helpful. Went in for an oil change a couple weeks ago, I didnt even have to step out of my car. The service provided was great. I will definitely be returning.

I have taken my Tacoma here for the past two oil changes but recently I started hearing a rattling noise whenever I went over a bump. After searching for the cause of the rattle, I discovered that after the previous oil change, the mechanics had re-attached the trucks skid plate with black zip ties instead of the bolts that had originally secured the plate to the vehicle. I also discovered that one bolt had been sheered off leaving the remainder stuck in the bolt hole and the other bolt holes threads had been stripped and now needs to be re threaded. Whether or not they caused the damage, it is something that they should have brought to my attention instead of botching the job and potentially causing a much more serious issue. I will no longer be bringing my truck to this location.

Amazing service! I drove to three different places to get my oil changed and they all had 2 hour + wait times. I then stopped at Valvoline, they could take me right away. They were so patient with everything I needed and even worked with me with my Groupon mess up. Best service team ever!

I’ve been going to this location for the past 5 yrs. They are always professional and today they saved me money. I showed up for an oil change and according to my records, I didn’t need one yet so they did their routine check and sent me in my way. I can always trust their recommendations and know they aren’t selling me things I do not need. I highly recommend this place!

Anti-LGTBQ+ comment/joke made towards me. The oil change I received occurred the morning of 6/17/21 and was fine. However, during the service the technician asked for my phone number. Now this was completely ok as I was a new customer and they needed my information. Then the technician stated “I do not need your number to ask you to dinner. I do not swing that way. I hope you don’t too!”As a gay man I was very offended by this comment. I am sure my face showed that. I wish I would have stood up more but was in shock when he said that.They will no longer receive my business.

In June 2020 - Went in for a tire rotation and an oil change. Got the bill and realized I was only charged for an oil change. I asked about it and they completely forgot to do the tire rotation. 30 mins later, tire rotation is done and I’m out the doorMay 2021...Well...months later (after barely driving during 2020 because of a global pandemic) while trying to access the brakes, it was discovered that the wheel nut lock key they gave me back WAS THE WRONG ONE!!!After calling and visiting Valvoline, it was excuse after excuse as to why there was nothing they could do. No owning up to their mistake or negligence. It is the principle of the situation and the lack of professionalism that upsets me. Zero compensation for their negligence! So I now have to pay to break the current lock and replace the locks and key on my tires. An expense I was not expecting and again...is because of negligence!

I had a great experience with James this morning. There was a mixup during my last oil change that left me without an air filter. James was quick to respond and provided excellent service.

This was my first and will be my last visit. I waited in line for about 30 minutes which I really wasnt upset about. However, during this time employees were walking around talking among themselves. Once I was directed to pull in the bay, I told them I had a coupon for $24.99 oil change. I was then advised my oil change would be $69.99 because my car uses synthetic and not conventional oil. My complaint is that if the employees had come over to greet me and find out what services I wanted while I waited for 30 minutes my frustration and dissatisfaction would have been eliminated. I went ahead and got the oil change with a $10.00 discount($59.00 + tax). I also asked for my tires to be checked as that my pressure light was on...needless to say that was not done nor was my fluids checked per my receipt...SMH. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS ON SOUTH BLVD IN CHARLOTTE NC

This Valvoline was a great experience. The technicians were pleasant and knowledgeable about the car and were very receptive to my concerns with my vehicle. Very disappointed that I waited in an extreme line for 30 minutes to be told when I got to the garage bay that we’re not doing inspections today it would be nice if I knew that prior to waiting in the line so that I could still get my inspection done today since I took the afternoon off. Had my oil changed since I waited that long anyway!

Great place to go for quick friendly service with no high pressure sales tactics. If they see something they inform you and will offer repairs at a reasonable cost. If you need an oil change or anything of that nature give these guys a try you wont be disappointed.

Everyone there was very nice, I was headed to Fort Wayne IN, stopped by to have oil & antifreeze levels checked.

Never had an oil leak until after I went there. They were training a new person and focused too much on selling me stuff i didn’t need. They forgot to make sure the hood was latched before letting me leave, then I started getting lots of oil spots on the driveway from something they messed up

Took my car in for an oil change and state inspection. Was told 30 minutes later that they couldn’t do the oil change because they didn’t have a filter. Fine, a waste of time, but not why it’s 2-star. I took it elsewhere, and it turns out the Valvoline team left the oil cap off, which allowed the oil to splash all over the inside of my hood, so now my AC smells like burned motor oil. Additionally they left their wrench and socket inside the hood, which solves why there’s been a rattling noise (thankfully my fan blades were only chipping it, and didn’t get damaged badly.) They were polite, answered the phone right away, and were polite in person as well, which is why I gave them 2-stars instead of 1. But now my car just smells of burning motor oil. On the flip side I have the wrench and socket to do my own oil change now.

I came here for an inspection last year, it was my first year in NC and wasnt required to have one which they didnt tell me. Came in today for an inspection after calling the location and being told by the automated system that there was no wait time which was true no cars being serviced, the inspector was out on lunch and wasnt going to be back for an hour!

This was the first time getting my oil changed and tires rotated at this location. Everyone was kind and helpful. Jeremy was the primary person I spoke with. He showed and explained to me everything they were doing and why. He also told when I needed some other parts changed or replaced. Very professional!!

I like this Valvoline, but I had a $10 coupon that their scanner didnt recognize. The attendant was nice and gave me $8 off as a courtesy, but I wanted to let people know that the Valvoline second car coupon that was sent out recently does not work, at least not at this location.

I believe I was here an hour, with a screaming toddler in the back seat. So it felt like I was here even longer. They were training the new guy and they were all very slow. I will say they were all very nice, but not good enough. In CO, I’m in and out in less than 30 min.

The team even helps answer all my tedious questions about my car without making me feel like I know nothing about cars lol..

Quick and easy oil change, they forgot to add the mileage sticker to my car so now I have to write it on post it notes every time I drive. my car is now full of them and it’s hard to see. I Also sometimes use them to write down good ideas so over all can’t complain.

I used to come here for my Emissions Test and Safety Inspection, but will find another location next year. The representative who I was initially working with disappeared out of nowhere and allegedly did not pass responsibility of my truck to someone else. I ended up waiting around for about an hour for something that normally takes 15-20 minutes max. I had to walk up and remind the other employees there multiple times which truck was mine and why I was there. This is an inefficient and unprofessional location.

Quick! Love the fact that I can get an oil change with my village in the car (I have 5 children ages 1yr to 7yrs old) great option to maintain the car and not have to worry about kids in a tiny waiting room with no seats. Appreciate the flexibility!

They provide a thorough inspection and dont try to force further purchases on you but let you know about how much further you can go on certain changes and prices for those changes. I am able to budget to include those for our next oil change now. Truly wonderful customer service.

Your run of the mill get an oil change and get out kind of place. It’s good for what it is. If you are looking for an oil change along with a comprehensive maintenance inspection of your vehicle (according to most vehicle maintenance schedules in your car’s owner manual), I would go elsewhere such as a mechanic / garage.

I recommend NOT using Valvoline Oil Change.I took my vehicle to Valvoline for an inspection and oil change. My car passed the inspection on my 2017 Audi. TWO days later my skid plate fell off while my wife and I were driving damaging the skid plate. I took it back to them and told them I had to go on a long trip please make sureIt was safe. They put it back up and told me it was fine. On my long trip three hours into it it fell again and had to be held up with rope to secure it. I took it back to them and they will not stand behind their work and will not pay for my skid plate so for the sake of safety of all of the people in this network do not use these people. They did not secure my vehicle properly after an inspection. And did not stand behind their work. They refuse to pay for my new skid plate.They say it was damaged before I brought it in but the pictures they sent clearly show it was fine.The car never had an issue before I took it there.Again please DO NOT use these guys for your vehicle.

They ruined the threads on my oil pan by over tightening the drain plug and will not accept responsibility even though they admitted they fired the tech that did my last oil change for doing shady things. Now this is going to cost me $1100.00 to have the oil pan replaced. Will never darken their door again and will let everyone I can know not to go there. Horrible way to do business.

This facility is amazing. I called ahead with a question about the lights that were flashing on my dashboard. They gave me an honest answer that they could take a look and let me know why they find out, but would more than likely not be able to fix it.Once I got there they immediately helped me and were so polite and friendly. I have been going there for nearly 5 years for my state inspection. Always courteous and fast service. Never actually been there for an oil change however which is the reason I suspect most would go for.

I found the process slow and the people were pushy on additional products.

Quick and convenient inspection of my vehicle, I was lucky to come when there was no line. There seemed to be a line every other time I drove by. They said I had to buy windshield wipers and luckily they had some cheap ones but they installed the wrong size so I had to ask them for longer ones. Other than the wiper thing 5 stars though because it seemed fairly clean and had a coffee pot and it was easy to see your car from the waiting room while it is being worked on

I took my car in just for a state inspection. The man who took care of me and my car was INCREDIBLY friendly and kind. The inspection took only 15 minutes max and I was on my way. They hire amazing employees here. I definitely recommend this place.

Theyre always super quick here, and we usually work with you to help find a coupon or something which they dont have to but is really nice. Im taking many different cars here and they always do a good job.

This was my first time to Valvoline and I was blown away! Seriously the best oil change experience I have ever had in my 9 years of driving. Lori was quick to greet me and tell me about their services. Dustin, Lori, and Will were fast and precise and worked so great as a team. I was in need of an oil change on a tight schedule and slim budget. There were no Jiffy Lubes around so I reluctantly went to Valvoline. Im happy I did. The price was very reasonable for the service provided. The customer service was spot on. I enjoyed my time there. Plus for being close to uptown.

I have gotten oil change here and it was 46 dollars for regular oil change. I think this is the most money I have paid for this kind of service! When a customer comes for the first time, you kind of give a discount or offer a deal so they come again. The service was quick though.

These guys are awesome! As a lady it is a dreaded task to take my car in for service because I often feel like Im being taken to the cleaners; but not here. They were so helpful and told me the price up front and didnt try to upsell me. When I got to checkout, they even helped me find a coupon online! I will definitely be going back for my next service!

This place is horrible. We were from Pittsburgh and me and my dad brought a tow truck for are business. we own a auto repair shop. We figured we get A oil change. grease job. Also wiper blades. But this did not work out. They put the size blades on truck which broke the wiper arm and we got stuck in West Virginia and had to get tow. Which cost 600.00 we also asked to grease front end and was not done as asked. Also they did change are filter. It was purlator oil filter. This all cost us 170.00.and nothing was done besides draining the oil. I dont want any money back. I own a auto repair Business and I known how this business works. And this is wrong. The manager needs to take of this. And try to make it right so this does not happen to someone else.

Update 6/21/20:I went there today with my second car cuz had coupon for 20% off. Thats $20 off cuz my Lexus be needing full synthetic. They told me all that needed to be done per Lexus but didnt force it on me. Also checked lights and tire pressure. It was nice and fast. Will probably continue cummin here. Updating from 4 to 5 stars.Original review:Fast and reasonably priced. Didnt like that they pushed tire rotations. When I was there, they asked a girl to get out of her car, while they raised the car up to rotate the tires. She refused. Dont know what happened after that. They asked me too but I didnt need one cuz all 4 tires were bald and was buying new tires. Which is why I think corporate forces them to ask for rotations. I can tell cuz even tho I didnt need it, they asked.

These men are amazing people! I was having a terrible day and they were so nice and caring and gave me great life advice. They really go out of their way to bring great customer service! Probably wont go anywhere else!
