My first time coming too Havoline & it was soo cute! You sit in the car while getting your service which is so convenient. & the man that changed my oil was super sweet, & quick! Loved my experience!

Came here randomly because need an oil change. It took a while. The service people werent rude or friendly. The price similar to other places for full synthetic. Everything that it says on the receipt they dont actually do such as checking the windshield wipers or resetting the maintenance light. Free basic car wash was nice.

Service was quick and convenient a bit pricey but overall a great experience.Oil change includes a free car wash and vacuum .FYI you have to vacuum the car yourself

Poor n slow service, literally they took more than 30 mins and synthetic oil ,non-synthetic oil are taking out from 🪘 drums and the employees not full trained ,they don’t know which air filter will use for vehicles exactly, when we use Groupon than they add additional tax that’s almost 10$ and they just type 20 points inspection in system but in reality they won’t do any inspection except air n water .

The Staff was quiet and courteous, the waiting area updated, amply spaced, & comfortable, finally the service was both quick, economical, and thorough. I cant imagine a situation where I wouldnt return or recommend it to a friend.

1 start is too much for this place.I paid for full synthetic and they put regular oil on my Toyota 🤬Don’t go there they will look for ways to up charge you The stuff are very rude people. Don’t go there

The Manager Jose is very rude And he over charged for tax. Wouldnt recommend.

Service is always 5-star, they always give you exactly what you asked for and go above and beyond on customer service.They also offer you an instant five or $10 coupon $10 off for full synthetic and their price is $15cheaper than any other oil change in Charlotte for mobile-1 highly recommended, I travel all the way from the Lake Wylie area for the five star service .

I went there like two weeks ago. I had to take my car to the mechanic on Friday due to the head gasket blowing. The mechanic told me that it blew due to over heating. I told him it couldn’t be because I literally just took it for a coolant flush. He said it wasn’t done right and that it was leaking. I don’t know what happened after I left havoline but when I did take it there, I know for a fact that my head gasket was good. Other then that, the other things I had checked out were good.

Went to get a simple oil change. Disregard the $20 student oil change signs. I don’t know much about cars and I don’t like these kinds of places because I always feel like they try and gauge you for air conditioning filters or something like that. As I feared, my oil change ended up being $65 even after the student “discount.” Don’t need to know much about cars to know that doesn’t make sense. They said I didn’t have the right oil type to merit the $20 price, but it costs me $30 to get an oil change in my hometown. I will not be back and I advise you go somewhere else, especially if you’re a student. The guys working were pretty nice however and the service was quick and convenient so I guess a 2 star is fair. Just frustrated about the misleading signs out front.

This place is kinda shady when the (what I assume to be) head guy isnt here. Ive been coming to this shop since they had their old location across from University and havent ever felt like I got anything but 5 star service. But Ive always had the same person do the work on my car. I think his name is Khalil (might be Mo, sorry if Im wrong!) First time Ive been here when he wasnt and greet time was long, workers were short and did not communicate at all what they were doing or ask any questions other than oil change?Not tryna be petty, just dont know if I wanna come back if theres a chance he wont be here. Also, I have no real proof, so Im not gonna pursue at all, but I have a feeling the free car wash put a couple fresh scratches on my car.Disappointing experience this time...

Took maybe 15 minutes for an inspection, very nice people.

Stopped in for my annual NC State inspection.Mo and the crew had me in and out in no time at all as they usually do.Fantastic service would definitely recommend this auto service center.

Horrible customer service! Multiple people pulled out without service. The guy beside me looked at me and shook his head. Perhaps, the manager was tired...

I come here all the time to get my oil change. Never any issues and the people there are helpful. Shelton is very knowledgeable and gave me great advice on which oil I should get after I told him I would be getting on the highway to PA and the price is reasonable. Shelton was the specialist that worked with me during my visit today. He was extremely informative and personable. He let me know I needed an air filter as well as recommended I get a fur injector for the sake of my engine longevity. He is an amazing mechanic with great customer service to add! I will definitely be back!

State inspection was very quick.

Very friendly staff with decades of experience on all make and models of cars. I drive a Volkswagen myself and they were very diligent with adding full synthetic oil. I definitely will be back, plus with a car wash and UNCC student discount, they have me! I recommend.

The manager refused to give a refund for doing a service I didn’t request. Ended up having to call the police and have them involved for them to give me a refund. Also, since you need to know, I am a 5’2” small person, I am not strong, so when one the employers was yelling at me to move my car, who then came and approached me, and put his hands on me… so yes, I felt threatened and pulled a knife, to defend myself.

I bring my vehicles here all the time. Service is great!😊

Some really nice guys working here. Came in to get my car inspected and they replaced my missing license plate bolt and added vibration dampening foam without even mentioning it. I really appreciate it.

Tried to get my motorcycle inspected here. I tried calling 4 times and never got an answer. Left a voice mail, call was never returned. Finally drove my motorcycle down, because havoline and valvoline have inspected my bikes at various cities. Got there and was told they couldnt inspect it. Wish they would have just answered the phone to tell me they couldnt do it.

Did not properly do their job when having my oil changed and resulted in having my oil pan getting scraped and ruined. They did replace it but however the staff was unprofessional and blamed me for their mistake instead of acknowledging what they did wrong

So I took my car into to get a routine oil service, and during the service I was informed that the last time i came whoever serviced my car did something the wrong way and broke my oil pan. And the place they needed to get the car from wasnt going to have the part until tomorrow morning. I was told the part would be in at 8 and the car would be fixed until 930. I was then told I would be given a rental car so that I could have a car for work/coaching job. 15 minutes or so later i was informed that the rental place didnt have any vehicles but that wa the first of many lies. They just did not want to pay for the rental car due to the price of it. So instead I walked back to my apartment(20 min walk) that day since I had no car and then had to get an uber to my basketball practice. I was told the price of the uber would be deducted from the price of the oil change. At this point I had no issues with the situation except for them lying to me about the rental but I was going to let it slide and continue to use this express lube... until what happened the next day. The next day I walked back to the shop and got there at 9:40 since I was told my car would be done. Well when I got there they had JUST STARTED working on the car a few minutes before I got there. Apparently the shop got the part late. I had asked them the day before how long it would take to get the part installed and I was told confidently 15-30 minutes. That was another lie. My car wasnt ready until 11:30. I sat in the shop for almost 2 HOURS waiting for something that they messed up and lied to me about it. If it truly only took 15-30 minutes than I would have left no later than 10:15. I understand mistakes happen and some things are out of your control. I was fully ready to still use this shop even after they broke my own part in my car. But instead, I was lied to on multiple occasions and forced to sit in the shop for 2 hours. If they knew it was going to be late, why not call me to inform me? I provided them my number and if they had gotten the part late than logically, they would have called KNOWING I WAS GOING TO BE WALKING TO THE DAMN SHOP. Its inexcusable to lie to a customer and then treat them so poorly. On top of all of that I was only deducted $14 for my uber and $6 for my student discount (which they have to give me as store policy). Crazy that nothing more was done when they were the ones lying and making the mistakes. Needless to say I will never be taking my car back here and I would suggest anyone reading this to stay far away.
