Very disappointed. First charged us an 8% credit card processing fee when making the deposit that he did not warn us about. less than 24 hours before pick up of the 1st day Agreed, we called for confirmation and that’s when the owner told us the bus had broke down and we were actually going to have a different ride than agreed on and our group would be divided into 2 groups . One of the limos didn’t have A/C nor music . On top of that we might not even have transportation for day 2. This is all less than 24 hours before pick up. On top of this they charged additional money and STOLE MONEY from my bank account WITHOUT MY PERMISSION . BE CAREFUL IF YOU BOOK WITH THEM! Do not recommend .

Do not use this company. The owner is a snake and allows his employees to financially take advantage of girls. Nothing but lies and deception the entire process. I cant stress it enough, please do not ever use this company. They steal your money and the owner takes zero responsibility of the behavior of his drivers. Currently filing a lawsuit against them now. All I can say is that if you have the choice to walk to your event or take this limo company, I highly recommend you walk because these idiots are the shadiest people I ever encountered.

I called Ballantyne Limo at the last minute to see if they had a limo for a birthday celebration. They had one available and Benjamin was our driver. He was so polite and professional and accommodating. The limo was clean and really nice inside. We had such a great time! I would definitely recommend them. Thank you!

We rented the limo for senior prom ; the kids said the limo kept braking down ! They had to sit there - the driver kept opening the doors to cool them down . The air conditioning didn’t work . They said the music was blue tooth but the kids had to use a cord to get it working. So make sure you bring a cord to play music. I contacted the business and he just said sorry - I get that there was not a lot for them to do after the problem occurred but you should have the vehicles up to date if we’re renting them for $1000. Disappointing

The music took 45 minutes to start working. A party bus without the party. This inside was very out dated and the driver threw away all of our goody bags that had stuff inside of them while we were at dinner and didn’t even ask us. On top of that we had the party bus from 7-12 already running late bc of the music the driver said not to treat this like an Uber and wasn’t going to be stopping certain places that weren’t far at all in within 8 minutes if the original address. Not what you think! Look into the vehicle before renting them

Emil, the owner, was our driver and was extremely professional and prompt. His white stretch Hummer limo was in pristine shape and very clean. He was extremely patient as we took lots of photos with the car. The sound system was AMAZING and we were able to pair it with our Bluetooth...it was like being in a nightclub. The neon lights set the mood as we cruised to uptown from South Charlotte with a party of 16. Seriously it was THE BEST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION EVER!!! I have to write a review, because obviously this person makes money either way. Called me 2 hours before the event, to tell me the limousine just broke down ...not even offered other limo available...I had no choice with guests ready to go out. Saying that he only has a van available for only $120. Less than the limousine,( 500$ for van) without any way to be able to play our music, only his radio. Without even a cellphone to communicate with him, only by text messages. I asked him to take them a special place and he didn’tHe just planed this for him to make the money and didnt care my daughter birthday party!Definitely DO NOT Recommended!!!!

I called around to a few places for a party bus. Ballantyne Limo had the best price and offered soda, water, and cups. And unlike the other companies, Ballantyne allowed us to bring liquor on the bus and snacks... which was necessary for a 5 hour rental! The bus was in great condition and the driver was very kind and flexible. We were able to hook up our own music and the vibe was exactly what we were looking for. The bus was ideal for our group of 13 adults all in our 20s and 30s. We were able to party, drink, and club hop all night without worrying about driving or paying for over priced drinks at the bar.We even lost our phone on the bus and they made sure to get it back to us! Their customer service was amazing!I would highly recommend using Ballantyne Limo for your party bus needs and I’m sure Emil (the owner) would be just as customer service oriented with any of his rentals.

Emil is a very good person. We had a wedding on October 17th and he treated us well with good professionalism.

The gentlemen I spoke with to book our limo for our wedding was extremely nice and helpful and on top of everything. Our venue address was already in our contract and available to the driver. When the driver came (sounds petty, but its a wedding!!) he didnt even open the doors for us. He asked where we were going and didnt have the address or know how to get there. Our photographer led the way thankfully. When he dropped us off he parked in a rocky area (again- heels, wedding, doesnt make sense). When he went back to the hotel to pick up the guys, he apparently again just seemed to have no idea was he was doing. Even if it was his first day on the job (seemed like it), he definitely didnt try to hide it.

Ballantyne Limo is a top-notch limo service. Emil was so great to work with and really worked out a ton of details for us. He was able to coordinate everything from reserving the right limo for our needs to getting us picked up at the time we wanted. He had to go through a lot to make that happen because we did not give a lot of notice, but he made it all happen. Also, he was so good at communicating with me and giving me updates as he made progress and giving me all the details. Fred was our super awesome chauffeur for the evening and we enjoyed our limo experience so much. Fred was so attentive to our requests and so nice. It would not have been the same without him. He took our pics and had a great picture spot, even rolled out a red carpet! He took us everywhere we wanted to go, was prompt and most importantly very kind. The bus itself was awesome as well as the experience in regards to booking.However, our driver was horrible. He fell asleep multiple times l and left us waiting for 45 minutes while not answering his phone.This was for a bachelor party for my brother and I did my best to make sure everyone has the greatest time of their life that night. The only thing off was that everyone mentioned the driver just acted like he dreaded being there. The ac was cut off in the back where we sat and got extremely hot. The driver didn’t seem to care much to turn it back on. He eventually did but it got pretty hot in there before hand.I do think we ended up with a bad apple but the company should really take action before I use them again. I usually tip very very well but this night I did t give a thing. The drivers name was Fred. If Fred is assigned to your party I suggest you ask for another driver.

When I called for a ride to the airport on short notice the man who I spoke to was extremely accommodating. I think it must have been the owner. He had a car at my door the next morning at 5 AM. The driver was very polite and got me to Airport ahead of schedule. When I returned another driver met me in the terminal with a sign with my name on it. He was as polite and professional as the first. Both cars were brand new sedans that were clean and devoid of any odors. I would recommend this Ballantyne Limo service for anyone needing a ride to the airport.

DO NOT USE! I booked a black on black limo for his birthday and I was sent a old rusted up limo that was all dented up on the outside badly.I rented a limo for a nice experience for his birthday and that is not what I got.The driver was very nice and polite.But the limo was not nice at all! It was old, outside had dents and dings, rust on the outside. The doors didn’t even stay open unless someone held them open. The interior was old and you had to push so hard on the buttons to make anything work. The car bounced so much because the car was old and probably needs new shocks. Hard to enjoy drinks or anything while inside the limo because it bounced so much. The tint was stretched out and lifted in places. They limo was extremely dated and worn out and not what I was expecting at all. I never would have thought I would be sent a car like that when you rent a limo. My car is nicer than the limo that was sent. I was really looking forward to a fun surprise for him and I was embarrassed when I saw the condition of the limo. But we all went in it because I already bought tickets for the six of us for a play and then dinner after.The total I paid was $525 and I gave the driver a $20 tip. Had the limo for six hours.I am extremely extremely disappointed with the car that was sent. I was embarrassed by the condition of the limo and that was my birthday surprise to him.I called and emailed the owner Emil about my experience. He was not helpful to resolve my issue and only offered me back $75 dollars as a refund. Extremely rude on the phone. Don’t use Ballantyne Limo, search elsewhere!

I have used Ballantyne Limousine two times. The service is excellent. This last time I had been travelling for 30 hours. The driver called me right after we landed before we had reached the gate. It was a very short wait once I had my bags to get picked up. The company emailed me the name and phone number of the driver before my last flight. The driver was very professional, courteous and helped with ally bags at the airport and my home. This company is not the least expensive but dependable and professional and the cars are clearly labeled with company name. I will continue to use.

Everything was good. The only thing that was missing was the red carpet. Other than that the driver was on time and helpful. We had a bachelors party for my brother and it was chaos. Since day one I was very pleased with the customer service of this company. You can tell they really care. Most of our plans were made up on the spot and a lot of it had fallen through. We had a mix up in the scheduling and the owner personally picked us up in a limo to take us around town. He was very accommodating and extremely professional. I never give reviews on anything I do but this company merits one. I would recommend them to all friends and family.

The owner called me and told me my card was declined. He spelled my last name wrong and that’s why the card declined. He cursed me out on the phone and humiliated me in front of my guest. He threatened to call the police and get my guest and I off the bus. After all that 30 minutes later the payment went through and he never once apologized for how he spoke to a WOMAN!!! He ever over charged me on the price! If you do business with this horrible company check your account and make sure he doesn’t over charge you “by accident” .

Our driver Ben was amazing!! He displayed the best customer service. Very kind and he really meant it, great driver. We loved him! Thank you Ben!! I took three stars off because the A/C wasnt working properly (only blowing warm air) which resulted in us choosing to end our night an hour early and return home because we were soooo hot. Emil decided to charge us full price anyway. Which we absolutely do not appreciate, since there was an A/C problem. I will avoid using this company for airport transfers because Im not sure about the air conditioning and now I know that Id be charged full price even if it wasnt working.

Do not use!! This experience was so bad I had to make sure I write my review the day after my wedding. When first arriving, our driver did not introduce himself nor did he show us the settings for temperature or music. As soon as the music began it was booming on 10 and let me tell you that was not pleasing for a few of my guests over the age of 65 yet alone the younger crowd. Not only that but the driver rolled up the partition and did not attempt to tell us how to cut the music down. After knocking on the partition to get his attention he kept pointing to the back as if we knew how to control this limo. He finally made an effort to get out the vehicle and cut the music down for us. Before we took off he asked us what the address was for our wedding location. At this point, I’m really concerned. When we arrived to our location he did not open the door for the guest which were exiting the vehicle. During photos after the wedding ceremony I realized I left my wedding jewelry in the limo and I sent my sister to get it out of the limo, but the limo was locked and the driver was no where to be found. I had to borrow my sister’s wedding jewelry in order to take decent wedding photos. I was informed that he was in the shuttle bus which was parked directly beside our limo. If he was in there, I’m quite sure he noticed people trying to get in and made no attempt to get out to see if he needed to unlock the doors. We told the driver we were leaving at 3 to get to the reception. When we got in the vehicle it was extremely hot. We warned him 30 min in advance if not longer when we would be leaving and the driver still was not prepared. Either that or the limos are horrible. We mentioned to the driver that it was hot and he shrugged it off like he didn’t care. We got in hopping that it would cool down but it didn’t. What puts the topping on the cake is the Manager Emil contacts me as if he is concerned and he made an excuse for everything. He even put the driver on 3 way to “talk” this out and that went way left. The manager said it was probably hot in the limo because of the time of the day! So this means if you plan to use their services make sure it’s not in the summer or even fall during the peak of the day if you want to be comfortable. (I purchased their hummer limo and shuttle bus btw. The hummer was the one with the issues) What upsets me more than anything was I spent over $1k with these folks for 2 vehicles and not at one time did they try to make it right. If anything they charged an addition $100 because drop off when over 25-30 minutes. Which I would be obliged to pay if services were good, but they weren’t. The Manager even said after the conversation ended, so you mean to tell me your main complaint was the music being loud? Why didn’t you call me? The last thing a bride is thinking about is calling a limo service on her wedding day. But I will let you know I had time today! I told him my main complaint was the entire service as a package and if you don’t understand that being in the Management field then you may want to reconsider running a business.

Used this service on Oct 14th. Easy process and had one of the best drivers. I enjoyed it!! I especially liked the different payment options to choose from. Didnt necessarily agree with luggage charges already being included (Unless i read the fine print wrong) being that I wasnt getting picked up at an airport and had no luggage. But overall great experience!! Will use this company again.

Renter Beware.... We had a party of 20 on the bus that was suppose to hold 22 but it was overcrowded and couples were sitting on each others laps. Bus was clean, driver was nice however read your contract carefully because they charged a full hour of service for going 5 minutes over time limit.

Unfortunately the driver was extremely unprofessional and was FaceTiming his girlfriend during the drive and calling my parents and their company “stupid Asians” right in front of them! This is a warning to the public do not use this limo company ! They are crooks. I specifically asked if the cars were newer and if they were functional... the owner said they were.. of course they upgraded me to the hummer which upon arrival had a broken air conditioner... we were sweating like pigs! We asked the driver who was oblivious to our concerns to please call for another car that has a working AC.... he never did. They dropped us off at our first location and never sent a new car. Then they tried to bill me for extra hours. These people are scum and honestly the paying public should be warned. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED ! My next move is to call the department of business regulation and have them shut down for fraud!!
